Here we go again! A teenage girl microwaved a cup of noodle soup and placed it on the table in front of her 3 year old brother. Someone (not sure whether by boy, sister, or mother) tipped it into the 3 year old's lap and the mother is suing the soup company. I have utmost sympathy for the boy,his sister, and mother, but I hope the soup company counter sues for bad parenting. The very thought of putting a scalding food into the area of a 3 year old is disgusting!

Online story: "President Obama was offered a feast of Maine treats, including University of Maine lobster salad and Wild Blueberry Pie when he visited Senate Republicans for a Capitol Hill luncheon on Thursday (March 14). But he didn’t touch a bite, Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) told reporters following the 1:30 PM eat n’ greet. That’s because the President didn’t have a food “taster” with him, said Collins, who was responsible for the menu." -- Guess he thought Biden turned down a similar invite. You know, when a person invites you to "break bread" with him/her, it's a special opportunity to get to know them. Refusing so is a real slap in the face.

From the "wow, crack reporting..NOT!" department - Online story: "ORLANDO, Fla. — A (21 year old) college student with two guns, hundreds of rounds of ammunition and a backpack filled with explosives pulled a dorm fire alarm Monday in an apparent attempt to force other students out into the open so that he could slaughter them, authorities said. But he instead put a bullet in his head as police closed in. * According to Florida records, his only adult arrest in the state was in 2006 for driving with a suspended license." -- "21 year old" - "only adult arrest in state was in 2006 for driving with a suspended license"? 2006 was 6 or 7 birthdays ago making his get arrested at age v14 or 15 when he wasn't old enough to have a license to drive.

Mainstream media is going berserk over The Bible's actor portraying Satan and his resemblance to Judas 00-bama. What's it they say.... art imitates life?

---

Scene (seen) in downtown:

Now here's something Mayor Obamalinson should be writing a $1.00 per hour parking ticket for.

---

Online story: "A Florida website became the first known target of an election-focused cyberattack last year, when more than 2,500 "phantom requests" for absentee ballots were made from international locations, NBC News reported Monday. * The Miami Herald first reported in February about the irregularities on the election website, which took submissions for absentee ballots. The Herald found that 2,552 requests were filed to a Miami-Dade County elections website over a two-and-a-half week period in July, primarily targeting Democratic voters ahead of upcoming primary elections. They came on behalf of voters who had not actually applied for absentee ballots and were tracked to a few Internet Protocol addresses registered in India, the United Kingdom and other foreign countries." -- As Robin would probably say, "Holy donkey poop, Batman!" Looks like the Judas 00-bama has outsourced election fraud to India... no wonder the job market in the USA is so weak.

---

Online headline/story: "MSNBC Almost Entirely Dominated By Opinion: Pew Study * MSNBC, where opinion fills a full 85% of the channel’s airtime." -- The irony of this is that the PEW opinion is that MSNBC stinks.

---

Online story: "Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) made a case for increasing the minimum wage last week during a Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions hearing, in which she cited a study that suggested the federal minimum wage would have stood at nearly $22 an hour today if it had kept up with increased rates in worker productivity." -- A Senator who's been sitting on the job 2 months is now an expert on minimum wage? I'm willingly to bet she gets her productively figures based what people now on unemployment claim to be making and won't get off unemployment until a paycheck exceeds their unemployment benefits package.

---

Interesting fact about Senator Warren: She uses the last name of her first husband although she's been married to her second husband for 33 years. -- You know, I could understand a woman retaking her maiden name or keeping her married name following a divorce. I could even understand a woman who went to using her maiden name hyphened with a new husband's name, but what is she 'thinking' by subjecting a new husband to by keeping the name of someone she divorced?

---

Another fact about Senator Warren: For a year, she taught children with disabilities in a public school, based on an "emergency certificate", as she had not taken the education courses required for a regular teaching certificate" -- Hmmm, I guess once she's made her point for the $22.00 minimum wage, she'll be championing education with her 1 year of actual non-renewed experience.

Fox News seemed blown away that some researcher is out taking credit for discovering that Gustave-Whitehead made the first powered airplane flight two years before the Wright Brothers. I have in my hand a book, "Contrary to Popular Belief", published in 2005 (8 years ago) that one Samuel Pierpoint Langley built and flew an unmanned plane in 1896, 7 years before the Wright Brothers and 5 years before Gustave-Whitehead.

---

When challenged on her views of the 2nd Amendment rights, Sen. Diane Feinstein retorted, "I respect your views, respect mine." Unfortunately, Sen. Feinstein, no one asked of your interpretation of the 2nd Amendment, he wanted to know if you respected the 2nd Amendment as written by our Founding Fathers. You finally answered you didn't. Shame on you.

Successful CEO's become that way because they surround themselves with people who understand the corporate goals, and work hard to help attain those results efficiently and cost consciously. Judas 00-bama surrounds himself with people who will only do as they are told.

---

Why doesn't Congress separate what we and our employers pay into Social Security and only use that as what is described as "Social Security"? The other programs should be put under separate accounts and names so politicians couldn't threaten Seniors with SS check delays.

---

Hmmm, here's a question to ask Harry Reid, especially for the mainstream media. Senator Reid, you got new taxes passed with ObamaCare, partial repeal of the Bush Tax cuts, and repeal of the Social Security deductions, so why did you present a budget with more tax increases?

---

Don't you hate it when DUMERats point at budget surpluses under Clinton (because of Republican control of House and Senate), yet the DUMERat Senatr won't even propose any kind of balanced budget with Judas 00-bama?

---

Spring arrives Wednesday. Not sure if that's a good thing or not for the Veterans Parkway street scenes project. Last year, the growing season ended with 25 dead/dying trees that looked alike all winter. With Spring here, the live ones will green up, while the other 25 will just be there.

---

L-E story: "Corporal punishment will be banned in the Muscogee County School District if the school board approves the policy change Interim Superintendent John Phil-lips officially recommended during Monday night’s meeting. * The board will vote on the recommendation at next month’s meeting, April 22. " -- What we need here is a little, no, a lot of paddling for the Board! Lack of discipline options is a major problem already for schools, and now the MCSD board wants to tighten the 'handcuffs' on the schools' administrators some more? No wonder the board caved on the dr. Crumbs issue... Ron White is right, 'you can't fix stupid'!

---

A previous low-info voter's L-E "soundoff": " There’s so many things that we don’t know that if we did know could change the outcome of things. One little thing is the president’s dog handler gets $102,000 a year. That could have changed my vote." -- Wonder if that the writer had known that the said dog was flown by separate jet on family vacations and if it would have made more of a difference? Unfortunately, it probably wouldn't have.

---

L-E story: "NICOSIA, Cypru — A plan to seize up to 10 percent of people’s savings in the small Mediterranean island nation of Cyprus sent shockwaves across Europe on Monday as households realized the money they have in the bank may not be safe. " -- What was that noise? I swear I heard Judas 00-bama's ears perk up.

---

L-E story: "WASHINGTON — Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton announced her support for gay marriage Monday, putting her in line with other potential Democratic presidential candidates" -- As Gomer Pyle was apt to say, "Surprise, surprise, surprise"..... NOT! Trouble is, neither Clinton cared to define their own marriage in the traditional manner.

---

The only 'freeze' that need to be associated with Mayor Obamalinson is to freeze her out of office.

---

One really good thing could come out of the sequester that I haven't heard anyone mention yet. Death row prisoners could be 'fast tracked' to complete their sentences rather than tax dollars being wasted on 20 years of incarceration costs and legal fees.

---

L-E headline: "Tide focused on succeeding in NIT" -- What's the purpose of the NIT anymore... to see which team is the best of those not in the NCAA top 64?

---

Looking at the 1st and 2nd and 3rd team All-Americans listed, it looks like making the top 5 in the ACC was even harder.
