California has started billing small businesses for 5 years of retroactive tax incentives (plus interest) on a court ruling that stopped an existing tax break for start up businesses. If that doesn't cause more business flight, it certainly will stop new businesses from going there. As long as we are being teased with a "Name That Bridge" dilemma, why not name it for a historical Columbus man who actually held the position of "Bridgekeeper" in the 1830s-40s? Richard Gray who's American ancestry dates back to Jamestown in 1616, not only lived in Columbus prior to it being chartered in 1828, was official "Bridgekeeper" for many years and also one of 12 'founders' of First Baptist Church of Columbus.

Is it just me, or do the claims of less violent crime in Columbus seem contradictory to stats furnished by Mayor Obamalinson and the GBI? Nearly everyday we see gun crimes reports in the L-E. Wish some of the 20,000+ gun laws on the books were strictly enforced.
