HuffPost "headlie": "Obama presses Congress to raise wages" -- WRONG...
Obamageddon just wants the Republicans to appear to be the bad guys by
voting against something dangerous to the economy, knowing full well that it
becomes mainstream media fodder and a November campaign issue.
---
The Phillies No-Hit the Braves yesterday...Guess the Braves took Labor Day
off with pay.
---
HuffPost story: "Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn is taking on a challenge of sorts
just two months ahead of the midterm elections. * "He's challenging himself to
spend no more than $79 on food and other recreational expenses this week." --
Yeah, right... $79.00 won't even pay for the concessions at the Bears-Bills game
on Sunday.
---
HuffPost headline: "China Nixes Free Elections In Hong Kong" -- Hmmm, why
isn't Jimmy Carter going to monitor that... Oh! Forgot he's brushing up on his
Islam....
---
A big thanks to a fellow BCer for passing this along... a fitting new name
for the Hillsbury DOUGHgirl as she's out campaigning for more DOUGH... This new
one is sort of a culmination of her White House-to-Senate-to-State Department
journey. It's as the world, especially the Mid-Eastern world of Islam.. meet
Seldom Bin Layed.
---
Online headline: "Arctic Ice Cap Expands by 41 Percent in Two Years; Al
Gore Thought It Might Be Gone by Now" -- Hmmm...anyone know where Algore is
now?

Five lawyers with Hatcher-Stubbs were named as top lawyers nationally, and
Hatcher-Stubbs bills the MCSD at a highly discounted rate from other clients.
Why would the MCSD board want another firm to represent it?
---
Heard that Michelle None did not tailgate at "the Dawgs" game this weekend.
Heard her excuse was that she was a supporter of PETA and doesn't eat hot
dogs.
---
You know... Deal and Perdue went to Athens for the UGA game.. Michelle None
did not.. reckon she wrote off "Dawgs" as unimportant voters?
---
Online story: "Gwinnett County lets one elected official be the boss of his
own girlfriend. An Atlanta city councilman votes on government spending that
funds the paychecks of his brothers and sisters. * In Clayton, your brother can
be a co-worker, and your dad — the County Commission chairman — can be your
boss’s boss’s boss’s boss. * Welcome to metro Atlanta, where local government is
a family affair, an Atlanta Journal-Constitution investigation found." --
Hmmm... welcome Phase 1 of the incestuous world of Democrat job creation...
nepotism.
---
Online story: "The U.S. Department of Labor is investigating allegations of
fraud, by at least 57 vendors, which were unearthed in an audit released in
February 2013 by Atlanta City Auditor Leslie Ward, records show. * Although an
outside consultant hired by Invest Atlanta recommended July 31 that Atlanta
reorganize the board that oversees the training program, Mayor Kasim Reed has
recommended that 12 of 21 board members be reappointed." -- Welcome to Phase 2
of the incestuous world of Democrat job creation .. cronyism.
---
Online story: "A new report says legalizing same-sex marriage in Georgia
would result in a $78 million boost to the state’s economy. * The study, done by
researchers at the Williams Institute, a UCLA think tank, predicts an increase
in spending on wedding vendors and tourism. * Researcher Christy Mallory says
the numbers could be even higher." -- Good grief.. There's no such thing as a
liberal "think" tank... a "feel" tank maybe, but not a "think" one. Where are
the facts? At best, Ms Mallory is a self-serving lawyer looking at potential
legal fee boosts for wills and divorces same sex marriages could potentially
generate.

L-E story: "Under Georgia law, a candidate wins only if he or she claims 50
percent plus one vote. Depending on how Libertarians perform, a close race for
Senate or governor could lead to a runoff. And that’s where things get tricky. *
Earlier this year, state lawmakers responded to a federal judge’s ruling that
Georgia must give more time for overseas ballots and extended the time period
between the state primary and the state runoff to nine weeks. * But lawmakers
didn’t make the same change for the Nov. 4 general election. That means a runoff
in the governor’s race would be the traditional four weeks long and held on Dec.
2, while a runoff in the Senate race would be five weeks after that on Jan. 6."
-- Can someone.. other than a politician, explain to me how voters/taxpayers
benefit from the activism of a federal judge? Can the federal judge inform us
how his/her decision follows the 9th/10th Constitutional Amendments?
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Jim Blanchard seems to be unaware of what George
Bush did to this country. The man should stand trial for war crimes. He wrecked
our economy." -- Hmmm.. sound to me this "soundoffer" knows how nothing but the
entitlement programs work.
---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “If I accept you as you are, I will make you
worse; however if I treat you as though you are what you are capable of
becoming, I help you become that.” — Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, German poet,
dramatist and author (1749-1832). -- Good grief.. even the Germans know the
difference between the Democrats' hand out policy and the Republicans' hand up
goals.
---
L-E story: "President Barack Obama flew to Milwaukee for a fiery, populist
speech on Labor Day, marking the informal kickoff of a push this fall to stave
off Republican control of the Senate. * Obama’s brief visit to Wisconsin was
ostensibly nonpolitical," -- "ostensibly nonpolitical"? Good grief.. who upped
the dose of Kool-Aid for the mainstream media! "ostensibly nonpolitical"? The
only thing that will get Obamageddon off the golf course is a political
rally/fundraiser.
---
You know.. I'm beginning to believe that Obamageddon's fixation on golf is
actually a show of support for the postal union. He's adapted part of the NY
Post Office inscription... Neither beheadings, nor Benghazi, nor political
correctness keep Obamageddon from the completion of his appointed rounds of
golf.

When Mr "I'm not taxed enough" (but I've hired tons of CPA's to get my
maximum tax savings) Buffett pulls the plug on the excessive corporate taxes
Burger King pays and move the firm to Canada, you know he's doing the best for
his shareholders... which is his JOB! Now, if Obamageddon was doing his JOB
better, corporations would not be packing up and moving.

Last week, I posted a picture of an Atlanta area teen wearing a t-shirt for
an area track event sponsored by her catholic high school. The message on the
back read, "Run Like You Stole It". My purpose was to demonstrate how adults are
negatively impacting the lessons they want our kids to learn/emulate. Chuck
Williams "chastised" this as being judgemental on my part. Chuck... eat your
words and apologize for your column in today's Columbus (GA) L-E - The two
situations just illuminate liberalism in action... be compassionate of
others...until their acts affect me directly...
