Online story: "Detroit once again tops a list of most expensive cities in America to insure a vehicle. Charlotte ranks as the cheapest. * Detroit drivers pay an astounding 165 percent more than the national average for car insurance, according to InsuranceQuotes.com." -- Sorta ironic and moronic.. the rub being that Detroit, the City of Cars, probably has the highest percent of uninsured cars rolling on its streets.
---
From above story: "The second-most expensive city is New York, where drivers pay only 36 percent higher rates than the national average, followed by Miami at 34 percent and Los Angeles at 25 percent higher than average." -- You know... there's a pattern staring us right in the face.. cities with the highest rates of inner city poverty, cities with the highest rates of Democratic Party voters, cities with Democrat mayors, cities with the highest rates of crime lead the list of places that penalize the responsible segment of their metropolitan area with exorbitant insurance rates.
---
From above story: "Detroiters pay more because of their zip codes. Insurers use something called "territorial rating system" to determine high-risk zip codes and charge drivers who live there more. Detroit's high crime rate results in drivers paying $4,599 per year on average. " -- Hmmm... wanna bet there's a "racial profiling" situation that Attorney General Pric Holder will be soon suing insurance companies over?
---
A Know Knothing Knunn ad pictures her on a GA military airstrip saying she will defend the Warthog aircraft support for the military when she gets to Washington. Of course, once she gets the Washington, we know she won't because she's a Democrat of the worst kind.. she's a "legacy" wannabe of her father.
---
Speaking of the military cuts Know Knothing Knunn says she'll defend, David Perdue doesn't even have to campaign on the issue.. we already KNOW his position on the Warthog aircraft and when he gets to Washington, it won't change or waver.

Online story: "MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Star Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has been indicted in Texas on a charge of child abuse after using a branch to spank his son, and was swiftly benched by the team on Friday for this weekend's game against New England. * the charge in Montgomery County accuses Peterson of using a branch, or switch, to spank one of his sons, whose age was not disclosed. * "Adrian is a loving father who used his judgment as a parent to discipline his son. * He used the same kind of discipline with his child that he experienced as a child growing up in east Texas." -- As a child, I remember how a maid our family had (and loved dearly) would walk us out to a particular backyard shrub and make us designate which "switch" we wanted her to apply a little discipline with. The "switch" really wasn't the hurtful part.. the "march" and the knowledge we had disappointed her were far more painful than the actually "switching". What is it with mainstream media? Like Ferguson, MO, the ardor mainstream media is evoking over this reminds me of a shark "feeding frenzy". If it weren't the 21st Century, I'd say this media reaction mimics the "witch trials of Salem, Mass.".
---
HuffPost headline: "Planned Parenthood hits GOP" -- Hmmm... speaking of real child abuse....
---
HuffPost headline/story: "Obama makes controversial decision on war * On the cusp of intensified airstrikes in Iraq and Syria, President Barack Obama is using the legal grounding of the congressional authorizations President George W. Bush relied on more than a decade ago to go to war. But Obama has made no effort to ask Congress to explicitly authorize his own conflict." -- Hmmm..."using the legal grounding of the congressional authorizations President George W. Bush relied on "? Is this not "the pattern" of Obamageddon's presidency... don't do anything unless you can "blame Bush" in some capacity?
---
Online story: "When Arnold Schwarzenegger's official portrait was done in 2003, there was a personal touch -- he was depicted wearing a lapel pin featuring the face of his wife, Maria Shriver. * when former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's official portrait was unveiled at the Capitol on Monday, his estranged wife's face was nowhere to be see" -- Hmmm... maybe this was a publicity stunt for the trailer of the sequal of his movie, "Eraser".
---
Online story: "the upcoming "Man of Steel' sequel, "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice," which has been filming in Detroit since May." -- Hmmm... guess the studio can save a lot of money not having to blow up buildings to give the scenes the look of devastation that exist there real time.
---
Online headline/story: "Vermont bans lunch staple in public schools * New rules have forced a popular lunchtime treat out of cafeterias across the entire state -- and its substitute doesn't match up. * Vermont bans brownies, turns kids on to kale, gluten-free paleo lemon bars" -- Hmmm, bet this just sealed the deal that will stop Michelle Obama trying to do a "Hillewinsky" run for the presidency in the future.
---
Comment on above: Can you not see next year's Class President election campaign promises of throwing out kale cakes and replace them with chocolate ones?
---
HuffPost headline: "Woman held without bail after gruesome find * Police in Mass. raided the woman's squalid home on Thursday and found three dead babies inside. * Possible explanation her lawyer gave for the tragic scenario" -- "possible explanation her lawyer gave"? Good grief.. I do we have discovered the DNA of the question, "How do you know when a lawyer is lying? .... when he opens his mouth defending a clients".
---
Random discovery: "eating French fries without ketchup may seem strange, but in France, the condiment is banned in primary school cafeterias." -- Why do we still call them French fries?
---
HuffPost oxymoronic "headlie": "Survivors of suicide" -- While there are survivors of suicide attempts, there's no such thing as a survivor of suicide..
---
HuffPost headline/story: "Appeals Court Reinstates Wisconsin's Voter ID Law * In a stunningly fast decision, a federal appeals court in Chicago reinstated Wisconsin's voter photo identification law on Friday — just hours after three Republican-appointed judges heard arguments on reactivating the hotly debated law in time for the November election" -- "three Republican-appointed judges"? You know, when was the last time...(or ever) you heard/saw appeals' court judges on liberal issues be designated as Democratic-appointed judges? Mainstream media.. especially the HuffPost just won't.. maybe just CANNOT... report a story based on the merits rather than the liberal bias.

Sad to report the death of Hugh Royer, Jr... a lot of people will not recognize his name, but he was a professional golfer in the 50s, 60s, & 70s. and won the 1970 Western Open. Not sure of the prize money (the 1899 WO had a purse of $150, and the last one had a purse of $5 MILLION - the 1970 purse was in between, but way South of the $5 Million mark). Little known is that Hugh grew up under the tutelage of Fred Haskins, honoree of the Fred Haskins Award. Even less known is that the Fred Haskins Award figure was modeled after a Hugh Royer 7-iron shot.
---
Online story: "Late last night, Channel 2 Action News reported that Secretary of State Brian Kemp had leveled voter fraud allegations against the New Georgia Project, one of the largest voter registration efforts underway in the state. * The effort is tied to state House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams, D-Atlanta, and the Rev. Raphael Warnock, pastor of the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta." -- Finally! I brought this to light a couple of weeks ago when New Georgia Project canvassers brought literature to my front door. While voter registration projects are good in themselves, law prohibits such if the effort is done in a partisan way. The New Georgia Project has distinctive racial prejudice written (literally!) all over it, thius it's actually an ethic violation for State Representative Stacey Abrams.

Did you know our government has a program to get monkeys drunk? So far, $3.2 Million has been spent on this. Somewhere in this is a class action suit based on monkeys not having OObamaCRAP to pay for the 12-Step rehab programs they're going to need.
---
Hmmm.. so monkeys are getting $3.2 Million, while the study to figure out why most lesbians are obese "has only spent" $3 Million.

A 19 year old American was targeted and killed in New jersey. No drugs or robbery were involved. The killer has been arrested and freely confessed he did this purely as "revenge" for American actions in the Mid-East. He also confessed to two other random killings of men who were gay. Mohammed Brown is a domestic Islamic jihadist.. no different than the Beltway Sniper, or Major Hisan at Ft Hood. ISIS is here...
---
You know, with all Obamageddon said Wednesday night, the most silent aspect was on how he will get Sgt Tahmooressi out of a Mexican jail to rejoin his Marine Unit.
---
Romney was my choice of support in 2008 & 2012, and I place his defeat at the hands of his Republican Party strategists for not "turning him loose" to run the race he was more than capable of handling, but I'm sure it's who is needed in 2016. On a Sunday TV show, Romney indicated "his time had come and gone", but after watching a Democratic Party focus group respond to that statement, I'm about to believe the DNC is afraid of him running against Hillewinsky.
---
Online headline: "Kerry: U.S. Not At War With ISIS, "It's A Major Counter-Terrorism Operation" -- In other words... a tap dance around the permission Obamageddon needs to get from Congress.
---
Obamageddon insists that ISIS/ISIL is not an Islamic terror group. Huh? Well, Mr Obamageddon, how about supplying us the names of a few Christian and Jewish who have decapitated American journalists like Pearl, Foley, and Sotloff!
---
Scotland needs to rethink its plans to secede from Great Britain Forget how it would affect currency or David Cameron's role.. Think about the British Open and the Claret Jug. Scottish golf course would be eliminated from the choices.

Sorry to see we're going to lose the head of our Chamber of Commerce, Make Gaymon, to retirement. Never has a person been better suited for his job than Mike Gaymon. Mike has a knack of bringing people together .. often in a self-deprecating way that just make people laugh and be comfortable. One good thing though, he might be available to head up the Crime Prevention Committee again. His leadership has been sorely missed.
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": "I sure wish I lived in Josh McKoon’s district. I would love to have the opportunity to vote against him." -- and maybe not.. especially if you moved into a district where your representative earns your vote by his actions, not hollow campaign promises of a better life that will never come.
---
From the L-E's "Today in history" feature: "Ten years ago, U.S. warplanes in Iraq unleashed devastating airstrikes on a suspected hideout for operatives from an al-Qaida-linked group the same day a video posted on a website in the name of the militants purportedly showed the beheading of a kidnapped Turkish truck driver." -- Hmmm.. don't you wish Obamageddon could blame a similar response on Bush to his buddies...
---
L-E story: "video obtained by The Associated Press and first aired by CNN shows two landscapers who were working near the street where Brown was shot by officer Darren Wilson on Aug. 9. In the video, a man can be heard saying, “He had his (expletive) hands up,” while one of the workers raises his own hands in the air.
* The man who took the cellphone video, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he feared for his safety, said the voice is that of the worker raising his hands, but that isn’t clear on the video. * The comment on the video largely matches those of residents of the apartment complex where the shooting occurred, who said Brown was surrendering when he was killed." -- "video largely matches"? What about the bvideo comments of a "witness" relating Brown's "bum rush" towards Officer Wilson.. This video claim certainly doesn't "largely match" that.
