HuffPost headline: "Islamic State militant group beheads again * The mother of a Lebanese soldier kidnapped by the militants said images purporting to show his beheading appear to be real." -- "beheads again"? " beheading APPEARS to be REAL"? Good grief...when are these people.. I'm talking about HuffPost/mainstream media going to stop drinking Obamageddon's Kool-Aid, and realize that beheadings are a way of life... a "go to" Islamic pastime for hundreds of centuries, and as long as there are jihadists, its not going to go away by itself.

HuffPost headline: "Obama defends immigration action delay * The president explained his decision to hold off on promised action on immigration reform." -- DOH! Good grief...when are these people.. I'm talking about HuffPost/mainstream media going to stop drinking Obamageddon's Kool-Aid? It's called "Democratic Party politics as usual". Obamageddon won't be able to get a vote passed before or after the election, but if he does something by Executive Order before the election, the Democratic Party will suffer its own self-inflicted political "beheading" on November 4th.

California is having a drought...and I do believe that the water companies must be piping in Kool-Aid through the spigots. California's Department of Fish and Wildlife just confiscated a woman's pet alligator and 2 pet venomous snakes from her home. Neighbors even staged a protest with their children holding up "save our gator/snakes" signs. We no longer have to wonder where the hippie movement immigrated..

---
Mainstream media has found a new scandal it can "bite into". .. "S'moresgate". It appears our US Forest Service has taken it upon itself to mess with a camping site tradition, and is suggesting replacing parts of S'mores with more healthy alternatives such as fruit instead of chocolate, and angel food cake instead of graham crackers. It is recommending using a spreadable marshmallow creme vs a real marshmallow, but I'm guessing tofu was its first choice, but bears probably went on strike in protest.

Online story: "New York Democratic gubernatorial candidate Zephyr Teachout spotted incumbent Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) at Saturday's Labor Day parade, put on a smile and made her way through the crowd to say hello. It did not go well. * The progressive Fordham Law professor then attempts to approach the governor, but the aide quickly blocks her way. When Teachout moved around the aide to try again, he blocks her once more. At one point in the video, Teachout extends her arm and said "Hi," before Cuomo turned his head to greet New York City Mayor Bill de Blasi * A reporter asked Cuomo about the awkward encounter. * Cuomo said, "I know she was at the parade, but I didn't get a chance to talk to her." -- First, I don't know how Teachout could be labeled a "progressive" when she's so far left of even Cuomo who's a poster child Progressive, but what this really demonstrates is the true "War on Women" policy of the Democratic Party.. Democrats woo women's votes around election time, but really don't want to snuggle after it's over.

HuffPost headline: "Madonna's Children Are All Grown Up In Her Latest Instagram Photo" -- Hmmm, wonder if Madonna has given them all an autographed copy of her book, "Sex" for their cioffee tables?

---
HuffPost headline: "100,000 in Chicago lose power" -- Ooops, my bad.. thought somebody deleted the cemetery voting list at the Chicago Democratic Party Campaign headquarters.

---
Online headline: "Somalia warns of revenge attacks" -- Good grief.. why would a third world country "warn" it was going to stage a revenge attack? What this reminds me of was an old story line in the comic strip, "L'il Abner". Dogpatch was in deep financial trouble, so it declared war on our government, then surrendered when the first soldier stepped across the border, and the government came in and rebuilt Dogpatch.

---
I understand...don't like it, though...the "fluff" games big school schedule, but why do big schools schedule such as away games? Two games Saturday had Missouri @ Toledo, and Oklahoma @ Tulsa. There oughta be a law stopping such. PS- Missouri is in contention for ugliest uniform....again...

---
Oregon more than nipped Missouri for ugliest uniforms. Don't know why I jumped the gun to name Missouri so early.

---
I've been disappointed in Phil Mickelson for shot/club selection, but accept those as 'Phil being Phil'. Yesterday, he withdrew from the BMW Championship because, simply because he didn't like his position and would just take some extra pre-Ryder Cup rest. Boo! Phil...

CB&T, a division of Synovus, is my bank, but its new ad slogan, "The Bank of Here" misses the boat big time.

Online story: "ST. LOUIS – Six people are dead after a violent 24-hour period in St. Louis. * Police say it is unclear if any of the shootings are related." -- Not one mention of the race of those killed or shot. After an incessant reminder of the races of the WHITE police officer and BLACK unarmed man in Ferguson.. not reporting the race of the victims is just wrong. I'm not going to suggest they were all white, but silence on such a matter is quite convicting of the bias of mainstream media.

---
Online story: "Springfield, MO - A disturbing video released to the public in Springfield, Mo., this week shows a young couple being assaulted by a group of men who attacked them from behind in an alley." -- Once again, the victims's and the attackers' races was "ommitted", The video shows clearly that both victims were white and all 6 of the attackers on the video were black. Once again, mainstream media set the standard of racial bias in its coverage of the WHITE police officer shooting the BLACK unarmed man in Ferguson, MO, and like the St Louis report above, MSM suddenly can't "see color" in it's reporting.

---
Online headline: "Bill Clinton rallies support for Charlie Crist in Florida governor race" -- Well, if it wasn't obvious to you earlier, Bill Clinton just confirmed that the Hillsbury DOUGHgirl is married to a political whore.

---
Online story: "On Friday, the IRS issued a report to Congress saying the agency also lost emails from five other employees related to the probe, including two agents who worked in a Cincinnati office processing applications for tax-exempt status." -- Pathetic! IRS should be disbanded and a 5% Fed sales tax go in effect!

Columbus just had the conclusion of a 22 year old "cold case" trial end with the accused found "not guilty". Probably the correct jury finding due to the time passed and previous lack of interest by the past DAs. I do remember that the police were hindered by the lack of access by the widow who moved out of state at the suggestion of her attorney. Perhaps a different result in the proceeding may have been made if the case were presented to a jury 20 years ago. Now, let's just move on.
---
You know, "not guilty" as charged is a lot different than "innocent".

L-E headline/story: "McClatchy Investigation * ’09 stimulus opened door to billion-dollar tax scheme * Records: Gov’t, trying to rebuild economy, let construction companies ‘cheat’ on taxes * when American tax dollars are at stake, as with President Barack Obama’s economic stimulus package, few in government even talked about the problem, let alone prevented it. * McClatchy’s analysis of payroll records for government-backed housing projects shows the federal government losing billions in tax revenue each year from the construction industry alone. -- Hmmm..." few in government even talked about the problem"? Yeah.. the McClatchy Investigative team is right!. More importantly though, for this disease to take hold and flourish, it took co-operation and assistance of mainstream media, including McClatchy, to keep this out of the public's eye. Even when it was pointed out by conservative outlets, the tsunami of liberal media sources flooded the airways with negative nanny-nanny-poo-poo comments about conservatives being Doubting Debbies.
---
You know if politicians, judges and citizens are going to meet to discuss overcrowding conditions in our jail, those parties should get together first and discuss the outrageous crime wave in out city, and how it's going to be stopped.
---
From the Columbus Council Agenda as seen in the L-E: " MAYOR’S AGENDA * Tax Assessor & Tax Commissioner * Tax Assessor’s Office — Request for Software Upgrade and Reassessment" -- Hmmm wonder why now? The election's over and Mayor Obamalinson is going after the "tax freeze".

It's amazing... with all the scandals, all the travesties, all the violence in the world at this time. two, that's right TWO liberal commentariesm one by Froma Harrop, and one by Leonard "the pits" Pitts, focused on hacked iPhone pictures of celebrities. Good grief, liberals focus on such false trauma on an issue that would not exist except for the self-aggrandized egos of celebrities thinking the world needs to see them naked. The problem could have been avoided by just exercising good common sense and morals.
