Online headline: "Jay Carney: 'It's Not Going To Be A Good Year For Democrats" -- Good grief... this is ominous .. what if Jay Carney lying as usual? Even scarier is that he is now working on CNN, so the truth is not a prerequisite as a qualification.

Online story: ""Hello Iowa. I'm back!" -- Hmmm.. Pop quiz... Optional answers: 1 - Hillewinsky addressing mainstream media in Iowa, 2 - John Kinsella yelling at the Kevin Costner in "Field of Wet Dreams", or 3- the opening dialog of a remake of "Closet Encounters of a Turd Kind"?

HuffPost "story": "Some of your favorite words or phrases might be rooted in bigotry. So if you haven't given much thought to the following sayings, perhaps it's time to start. * In this BuzzFeed video, we are shown words and phrases you might want to note -- so you can stop using them in the future. * For example, did you know the phrase "peanut gallery" is racist toward black Americans? In the video above, "peanut gallery" is defined as "a group of people who criticize, usually by focusing on an insignificant detail." It originates from a time when black Americans were segregated to the upper balcony of theaters and implies these people were "cheap and rowdy." -- "the phrase "peanut gallery" is racist toward black Americans"? Good grief.. the first time I ever heard this phrase was watching "Howdy Doody" and Buffalo Bob when he asked about 30-40 white kids sitting in the "Peanut Gallery", "Hey kids, what time is it?" I've never used it in any other sense than someone who was sitting on the sidelines rather than being a participant..

The above was presented as part of an AOL/HuffPost "Black Voices" article on 7 words used in everyday conversations that are "racist".. Notably not considered "racist" are words in everyday black street life conversation such as "nigga" and "honky". Who could possibly be offended by those words.. huh?

Online story: "The San Diego Unified School District received a Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle (MRAP) for free last week through Defense Department Program 1033, known as the Excess Property program. * Los Angeles Unified School District also received a MRAP, as well as three grenade launchers and 61 assault rifles * Fire and EMS teams will train with the vehicle to deliver medical professionals in difficult areas" -- San Diego and Los Angeles School Systems need MRAPs? Why.. to escort stdents to school? You know, I'd have thought that Chicago would have a greater need for them.
---
Online headline: "Kirsten Gillibrand: I Couldn't Tell My Harasser 'To Go F*** Himself'" -- The female Democratic Party Senator from NY is certainly no "Lady"... but somehow, we already knew that.
---
Online story: " Congress is dusting off the notion of statehood for the District of Columbia for the first time in 21 years, * District leaders submitted glowing testimony in support of transforming most of the nation's capital into the "state of New Columbia" at a hearing Monday afternoon. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid supports statehood for the District, and President Barack Obama said recently, "I'm for it." -- To begin with if Obamageddon and Reid are for it.. it can't be good for America or America's future. Besides, our founding fathers' intentionally separated the "District of Columbia" from all the now states to prevent a state from being "favored" by legislation. The founding fathers were wise.. and right.
---
Hey, if anyone living in Washington, D.C. feels "unrepresented", move out to an actual state and feel just as neglected of representation the rest of us feel.
---
Online story: "The Obama administration is ramping up its response to West Africa's Ebola crisis, preparing to assign 3,000 U.S. military personnel to the afflicted region to supply medical and logistical support to overwhelmed local health care systems and to boost the number of beds needed to isolate and treat victims of the epidemic." -- "overwhelmed local healthcare systems"? Good grief.. has Obamageddon even thought it through about how 3,000 US military personnel with EBOLA would overwhelm the already overwhelmed VA system?
---
HuffPost headline: "Global warming likely to cause colder and snowier winters, scientists say" -- I repeat.. you cannot make this stuff up.. I may even watch Saturday Night Live this week just to see how "Weekend Update" handles this... or see if Algore become a replacement "Guest Host" doing the opening skit.
---
L-E story: "Pistorius can compete * South Africa’s Olympic committee says there is nothing barring Oscar Pistorius, convicted in the negligent homicide of his girlfriend, from representing the country in future Olympic com .. * the South African Olympic committee has no regulations preventing someone with a criminal record from representing the country." -- " the South African Olympic committee has no regulations preventing someone with a criminal record from representing the country."? Hmmm.. apparently, the same guy who wrote the South African Olympic Committee bylaws, wrote the bylaws for the NFL, NBA, and MLB.
---
Online headline/story: "Skyscrapers built on radioactive site in Australia * As the Brisbane Times reported in 2008, the site was home to a uranium processing plant between 1911 and 1916. The company produced products used to paint luminous clocks, watches and instrument dials." -- Good grief.. think of the "green" aspects.. residents won't have to buy night lights or outside security lights.... the buildings will glow in the dark.
---
Online story: " Philadelphia Phillies closer Jonathan Papelbon was suspended seven games and fined Monday night by Major League Baseball for making a lewd gesture and then bumping an umpire. * Papelbon was ejected by West after the umpire thought Papelbon grabbed his crotch in response to the jeers from the crowd" -- Good grief.. Rose(_*_)nne B(_*_)rr did that after singing the National Anthem at a baseball game and got a TV talk show, and this guy gets "BARR-ed" from the game for 7 games. Where's the equality of justice in this?
---
Online story: "U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder announced a plan aimed at stopping American extremists from joining terrorist groups like ISIS, but during that presentation Monday, he was a bit fuzzy on the details." -- Good grief.. Pric Holder could do more to insure America's future and safety by devising a plan to stop American AND Mexican from voting for Democrats. A photo-ID program would be a good start.
---
A Justice Department spokesman apparently accidentally called the office of House Oversight and Government Reform Committee chairman Darrell Issa last week and, according to Issa, asked to release documents about the IRS targeting scandal to “interested reporters” before Issa had the chance to share them. Apparently, DOJ was screening IRS info as to what might be damaging... more damaging .. to the White House. Shame on them.. of course, "shame" does not embarrass them nor influences change..
---
You know... the "ISIL" Obamageddon refers to is probably an acronym for his voter base... In Stupidity I Live".
---
Online story: "Rutgers is apologizing to Penn State for offensive signs and shirts referencing the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal that some Rutgers fans displayed during a weekend football game.
Rutgers athletic director Julie Hermann apologized in a statement Monday for the "classless display" that she said does not represent the New Jersey school's views or its fan base." -- Good grief.. a female AD thinks college kids aren't going to be college kids? She's brought more public attention to "Beat PED State" t-shirts and signs than the t-shirts and signs did.
---
Online story: "If you weren't watching C-SPAN over Labor Day weekend, (and let's be honest, who wasn't?) you might have missed Congressman Clyburn, a Democrat from South Carolina, speaking about possible ways people can force change in Ferguson, Missouri. * His recommendation: sext. * Congressman James Clyburn apparently has no idea what sexting means." -- Hmmm when you get down to it, Congressman Clyburn nor his voter base have no idea what reality is!
---
HuffPost headline: "Massive sinkhole swallows street in New Orleans' Seventh Ward" -- Good grief.. how could anyone tell the difference...
---
Online story: "the annual Muslim day parade, where Muslims take over Madison Avenue and convert it to an outdoor mosque. * It is always scheduled near the anniversary day of September 11 — takbir! * The theme of the parade was advertised as Islam and America’s shared common values. But it was anything but. * It was a political parade in support of terrorists in Egypt and Gaza. There was a lot of anti-Jewish propaganda — the flags of annihilation coupled with outrageous pro-terror Muslim Brotherhood propaganda. * Before the police confiscated replica guns, the Muslim were posing and “shooting” people." -- Good grief.. Mayor de Blasio stopped "stop and frisk" which had lowered street crime to it's lowest levels in decades, but allow this kind of demonstration,, Freedom is indeed an American ideal.. but even that should be restricted to only our citizens and , in limited ways, to our legal guests.
---
Online story: "Federal prosecutors have accused a former Georgia Democratic Party chair and lawyer of defrauding his legal clients out of more than $1.8 million. * Michael Berlon, 55, of Grayson, was indicted Tuesday on mail and wire fraud charges, federal prosecutors said Friday. Berlon did not immediately respond to a phone message seeking comment. * Berlon is charged with obtaining funds from clients of his law firm and other people through false pretenses, prosecutors said in a news release. The indictment says some clients gave him money thinking he would create a trust for them and keep the money in the trust. Instead, prosecutors said, he used the funds for personal expenses and to repay other clients." -- 55 years old.. guess that does mean he isn't a classmate of our own Michael Eddings... but maybe a mentor?
---
L-E headline/story: "School board unanimously supports redevelopment referendum * Board member John Wells of District 2 explained it this way: "During the time that the redevelopment act is designated for certain areas, the school district will continue to get any amount of revenue that was established prior to that point. So it won't get any increase increments until the end of the redevelopment act is gone. Then whatever new value of the property is, the school board will benefit from the new value, which could be significant over a period of time." -- You know.. this is why we need to go back to an appointed school board.. politicians only think about mew ways to get into the public's pockets. It's also a reason that we need to have our school board and Council election on the November General Election Day. There's too much time for lame duck members to sit around and think of vengeful way to leave office.
---
L-E story: "More than a week after a fire ravaged the historic Calhoun-Griffin-Mott House on the TSYS campus, fire officials are still investigating and the company appears to be still weighing its options." -- Huh? What options... surely rebuilding it "as was" is not being considered... Doing so would be akin to ordering a "kit car" to replace a classic car totaled in an accident. From a distance.. it might "look" similar, but that's where reality ends.
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Nunn has convinced me not to vote for Perdue. Per-due has convinced me not to vote for Nunn. Now what?" -- Hmmm.. the real option is whether you want to support Harry Reid, Pric Holder, and Obamageddon's agenda or not.
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Jesus was a liberal. Will you Republicans continue to deny his words, his message and his existence?" -- Only a low info liberal/Democrat would associate Jesus with themselves, yet not one of them can look into the Bible (hey libs, try reading it so you'll know what's in it for a change) and find where Jesus advocated government to spend tax dollars on welfare programs. Jesus charged each of us, personally and sepcifically, to take care of compassion in HIS name. In other words.. use your own time, your own money, and do so quietly. No clanging cymbals does Jesus want.
---
L-E's "Online comment of the day": “I find it sad that Columbus fails to see the long term savings that could be reaped from the installation of this same turf at Memorial Stadium. It is expensive in the beginning, but it seems to me that the savings in mowing, fertilizing, watering, sodding the bare areas, and the man hours would far exceed the initial costs after a few years. …” — From Irene Alexich Pate on Chuck Williams’ column about Garrett-Harrison Stadium in Phenix City." -- Hmmm.. don't worry Irene.. no jobs would be lost with the City.. the regular mowing, fertilizing, watering, sodding the bare areas schedule would not be interrupted...
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " The conservatives have it backwards. They say don’t vote Democratic to save 10,000 jobs at Fort Benning. Then they say vote Republican for smaller government. Which do they want?" -- Here's a definite example of why the Democratic Party should be renamed, "ISIL"... (In Stupidity I Live)...Republicans don't want a crippled of smaller military... Republicans want fewer government departments that aren't provided for in our Constitution.
---
L-E story: " Microsoft’s decision to spend $2.5 billion for the creator of the hit game “Minecraft” could help the Xbox maker grab attention on mobile phones, a new priority for the company." -- Parents! Now is the time to give your children a "phone home only" cellphone. At the same time, you can get revenge for all the "crashes" Microsoft Windows has made you suffer over the last two + decades.
