It's very disheartening, even devastating, to see Supreme Court decisions voted on based on personal political correctness rather than Constitutional correctness.

---
You'd almost think that the group of Kagan, Breyer, Ginsburg, and Sotomayor vote based on not being fired from their lifetime appointments by Obamageddon ignoring the same Constitution. It's like they vote on things without reading it.. Do we see a liberal pattern here?

---
You know, based on the voting records of the above quartet, you really have to wonder how they passed "Constitutional Law" and got their JD degrees, much less their LLMs.
---
The Supreme Court did, at least, keep the lethal injection execution method viable.. wonder if Cuomo's concern about the costs of tracking down escaped murdering prisoners had an influence on the decision?
---
The second NY escapee is in a hospital under armed guards. For the hospital, let's pray that the armed guards aren't union members.
---
It's June 30th, and Kerry hasn't even made a bad deal. You know, the best way not to get a favorable deal is to set a deadline for results. It's like wanting to sell your house versus someone wanting to buy your house. The anxious seller is not going to get what he/she wants in the deal.
---
More bad news for America's future. Puerto Rico is about to be fiscally bankrupt. You know what that means...Puerto Rico will probably vote to become our 51st State and 3 more perpetual Electoral Votes will be on the Democratic Party side.
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Puerto Rico Governor: It's Time For Bondholders To Share Our Pain" -- Has anyone checked to see if this guy's last job was the accountant for the bankrupt city of Detroit?
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "The Curious Case of Puerto Rico, And Why Default Poses A Risk To The U.S." -- Good grief.. it's not defaulting on debt that is the biggest risk to America, it's Puerto Rica falling to the temptation to vote itself to request statehood, and sending three more permanent tax&spend bailout Democrats to Washington.
---
Online headline: "Obama proposal would make 5 million more eligible for OT * That would mean salaried employees earning less than $50,440 a year would be assured overtime if they work more than 40 hours per week, up from the current $23,660 a year. * "We've got to keep making sure hard work is rewarded," Obama wrote in an op-ed in The Huffington Post. "That's how America should do business. In this country, a hard day's work deserves a fair day's pay." -- First.. what does Obamageddon know about "deserve"? Secondly, what does he know about small business? Good grief, if small business owners had to pay themselves for overtime over 40 hours a week, they would have to eliminate some lower level jobs..
---
You know, when the Supreme Court "normalized" biblical perversion, it set a precedent for
normalizing" other criminal behavior.... polygamy, and pedophilia come quickly to mind..
---
You know, what interest will two women or two men have in common now that their common grounds of unity against the moral right has been eliminated?
---
There's going to be a let down in the gay night life...now that they can get married, the standard bar line of, "you know I would marry you if I could" has been shot out of the water.
---
From the "it can only be a California thing" department - Cities in California are building water parks for recreation during the worst droughts farmers have faced in decades. You know, I hope someone sneaks a few smelt and snail darters into the water so the California EPA will shut the water slides down. Maybe voters will start electing Republicans in presidential and Congressional races.
---
Did you catch the irony of Obamageddon singing "Amazing Grace" at the funeral in Charleston, SC? Do you believe anything he utters?
---
You know..the saddest aspect of Obamageddon's presidency is that no matter what the situation, no matter what he says, he has to send out droves of spinmeisters to parse, to explain, whatever he said. Obamageddon's picture should be in Bartlett's "Familiar Quotations next to this quote by Robert McCloskey, " I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.”
---
Two more Republicans are about to announce their candidacy for president. You know, if we can get all those candidates to pledge to vote for and support the RNC Convention choice, America has a chance to get back on track.
---
Before I go back to a public beach, does anyone know of a bathing suit company that makes one with a built-in concealed gun holster?
---
Have you noticed that when jihadist send suicide bombers, decapitate Christians and children, or when mass graves are discovered in Mexico, that no Confederate flags are flying..anyone know if Amazon.Com had banned Mid-Eastern or Mexican flags?
---
Online story: "Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton’s call for an automatic national voter registration system" -- You know, the fact that only 52% of people polled by Fox News believe that Hillewinsky in not honest just shows why we need better voting requirements. Proof of property ownership (skin-in-the-game), or a passing a current events test should required before being allowed in a voting booth.
---
L-E headline: "Police: Man charged in accidental fatal shooting on Andrea Drive" -- You know..how do you have an accidental shooting with a shotgun shot to the chest? It involves aiming and pulling a trigger...

---
L-E story: "A grassroots organization called the Friends of Phenix City Schools has launched a $1.1 million fundraising campaign to make a state-of-the-art STEM Center at Phenix City Intermediate School and an expansion facility for athletes on the campus of Central High School and the Central Freshman Academy even more state-of-the-art." -- Good grief.. Phenix City can get a STEM facility for $1.1 million, and the MCSD can build 3,525 sq ft of wrestling/weight rooms OR renovate a high school auditorium for the same amount.
---
Almost "get's it" L-E "soundoff": " If the city councilors would spend as much time worrying about crime as they do garbage pickup then we would be crime free." -- Good grief.. Mayor TomLYINGson is not going to worry about crime as she gets no revenue from it...
---

L-E headline: "NBC says it will sever ties with Donald Trump" -- Heh heh heh.. NBC should be careful what it wishes for.. without the Trump "shows", NBC will be devalued, and a hostile takeover will be just up Trump's alley...

Online headline/story: "Governor Cuomo: 'The nightmare is finally over'" -- D(_*_)vid Swe(_*_)t 's capture came two days after his fellow escapee, Richard M(_*_)tt, was killed in a confrontation with law enforcement while holding a shotgun. Swe(_*_)t was unarmed when he was shot twice by Sgt. Jay Cook as the fugitive ran for a tree line." -- 'nightmare is finally over"? he wishes... looks like another "cop shoots unarmed man" scenario that attracts the DOJ and every lawyer this side of the Canadian border"
---
Instant repeat - Online headline: "Governor Cuomo: 'The nightmare is finally over' -- Ooops my bad.. thought I'd waken up on November 2, 2016 and a Republican sweep of the House, Senate, and White House had occurred.
---
Well , after 23 days, one prisoner is dead and the other has been shot & captured. At a $1,000,000.00 a day to recatch them, maybe NY will reinstate the desth penalty and save money to spend on fun things.
---
Online story: "Amazon.com has now banned all Confederate battle flag items from being sold on its site, but the massive e-commerce site continues to allow the sale of dozens of apparel items featuring communist mass murderers such as Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin and Che Guevara, prompting some to accuse the site and others banning Confederate imagery of hypocrisy." -- And I'll bet Amazon will still sell you some Mao, Charles Manson, Ted Kaczynski, Aaron Hernandez, Fidel Castro, Janet Reno, Bill & Hillary Clinton, Ho Chi Minh, Jane Fonda, Patty Hearst, Timothy McVeigh and Nazi memorabilia..... oh.... and probably Boston Bomber Brother endorsed pressure cookers. Mein Kampf by Adolph Hitler is also readily available.. Oh, and let's not forget Attila the Hun!
---
You know.. Bakery owners have been put out of business and persecuted for not making wedding cakes for same-sex weddings so, why can Apple, and now Amazon.Com refuse to sell merchandise it feels offensive? I guess liberals think flags and t-shirts are guilty of crimes their owners commit.. sorta like blaming guns instead of the (_*_)s who use them in a crime. Now, why isn't the DOJ going after Apple and Amazon.Com on 1st and 2nd Amendment violations.. not to mention the "hate" part of discrimination?
---
Online headline/story: "Detroit police issue arrest warrant for artist behind Obama 'Hope' poster" * The Detroit Free Press reported that Shepard Fairey faces two felony counts of malicious destruction of property. " -- Hey, and don't forget to charge him with conspiracy and election fraud, too!
---
Online headline: "Iran nuclear talks to miss deadline as tensions boil" -- I guess a country who's president openly condones same-sex marriages and appoints a Muppet to represent him is a little too much for the Iranians to put their faith in...
---
Random thought: I heard a conservative news source ask a question: Will the missing Bengahzi e-mails hurt Hillewinsky in 2016? Hmmmm I thought.. Hillewinsky will still get liberals votes no matter what she says. It's sort a like will a welfare recipient vote against a Democrat responsible for $6 BILLION in waste and fraud in a welfare program.. In fact, in my humble opinion, the only thing that might draw some negative energy to Hillewinsky would be that "mainscream media" uncovered info that showed Hillewinsky to be 100% heterosexual and faithful.
---
We are gonna get screwed by OObamaCRAP..there's an ad running for Farxiga..some sorta diabetes drug that says "you" may be able to get it "free" for one year...whenever I hear the word "free" mentioned about medicine for someone else, I instinctively feel a pain in my wallet .
---
Didn't get to run them yesterday because of a "time restraint".. (had bus duty to get out church members at an assisted living site to church), but I did collect theses 4 HuffPOOPOO headlines. They just seemed so definitive of how HuffPOOPOO sees the world in relation with importance. Forget ISIS,. forget the erosion of our Constitution by the White House and Supreme Court, forget our failing economy, and forget Israel being our only ally in the Mid-East. This is how the HuffPOOPOO sees the world:

"Pope Francis Asks Forgiveness For Catholic Church's Persecution Of Waldensians"
"Are we living Islam's darkest hour?"

"Greece Parliament Approves Referendum On Bailout"

"Obama's Grace"
The HuffPOOPOO has traded in its rose-colored glasses for a blindfold.
---
"Just doesn't get it" L-E "soundoff": " How long will it be before Christians will have to mark their store windows with crosses? Don’t laugh, it’s coming." -- While touching on the truth, liberals consider the Cross as politically incorrect as expecting the truth from Obamageddon and Hillewinsky. "the truth" is not something liberals embrace with open arms... or eyes. Unfortunately, Justices Roberts and Kennedy would side with the "lefter" side of the bench that putting a Cross in your store front would offend Muslims and atheists.
---
Soapbox moment: I pay for a subscription for the L-E computerized E-edition. One of the sales points is that it's an electronic duplicate of the print edition. Recently, there has been a format change, and the size of the pages have been shrunk in order that a column of ads accompanies each and every page turn. This is not what I was sold nor purchased. To me this is a blight as unattractive as most of Mike Owen's "Inquirer" column findings... and it's something the L-E can correct without jumping through government hoops..
---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “Begin somewhere; you cannot build a reputation on what you intend to do.” — James Russell Lowell, American essayist (1819-1891)." -- Wow.. would James Lowell retract this once truism after reading the campaign promises of Democrats and seeing them get elected.
---
From L-E story on MCSD Board meeting: " • The board will vote to approve the guaranteed maximum price of $1,054,420 for the renovation of the auditorium at Jordan High." -- Good grief... wanna bet the deal comes in exactly at $1,054,420.00 no matter what it costs the contractor? Asking for something to get done at a fixed price that did not go through a bid process pretty much means the contractor can determine what actually gets done at the lowest cost to him and at the maximum cost to taxpayers. It's sorta like giving your daughter a $20.00 bill for her to go by Chick-Fil-A to get a salad and expecting to get change back.
---

From above story: "• A vote will be taken to authorize the settlement of a negotiated special education student case to not exceed $74,000." -- What in the heck is this about.. Frank.. John.. (and hopefully Mark) - we need ya!

---
Obamageddon is disgusting... now every Christian, every journalist, every American who ventures into the caliphate (even those wanting to join ISIS) will be "ransomed". Doesn't the mainscream media remember what it costs us when Obamageddon negotiated for Bergdahl? Not only did 5 terrorists get released from Gitmo, I believe s American soldiers were killed trying to find Bergdahl.

Online story: "The two people arrested for removing the Confederate flag from the front of the South Carolina Statehouse were released on bond Saturday. * "We removed the flag today because we can't wait any longer. We can't continue like this another day" "said "B*** N******" -- Forget whatever symbolism anyone in particular sees in the flags of the Confederacy.. forget this being an act of defacing a public monument.. this is disregard..disrespect .. of law.. this is anarchy..and needs to be treated as such.. this is Obamageddon's legacy.
---
The parasites are going for all the blood they can suck on the concessions extended for relocating Confederate flags. It's getting to look like men named "Bubba" or "Billy Bob" may have to change their names.
---
Robert E. Lee... no finer military leader... no finer gentleman.. no finer American.. is under attack by the ignorance created by the education system. Other than being a Confederate soldier, and that knowledge coming from "mainscream media's" lynch-mob-mentality of "throwing out the baby in the bathwater", even the liberal erudite lack the true knowledge of Robert E. Lee. Lee was the second in his class at West Point.. later the Commandant, too. Lee was also asked by Lincoln to lead the Northern Army. Lee, being the penultimate American military man, the wisest of wise, considered Lincoln's request with the honor it was given, but ultimately turned it down when Virginia voted to become a secessionist state because he would have to wage war upon his family and fellow Virginians.
---
Online headline: "Apple Removes All American Civil War Games From the App Store Because of the Confederate Flag | Touch Arcade" -- Hmmm...isn't this similar to a bakery refusing to do a gay's wedding cake...discriminatory ? And I'm sure " real damages " can be shown/proven.
---
Online headline: "Colbert calls out Justice Scalia in SCOTUS roast * In true Colbert fashion, the host took aim at one of the most hot-topic issues of the moment: the Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage." -- This is another bit of the legacy Obamageddon has created for himself.. Colbert is the advocate of each individual deciding what he/she considers right and wrong.. this is not civilization.. this is not even democracy.. this is another piece of the legacy of anarchy Obamageddon will be leaving our children and grandchildren.
---
You know, 50 years ago, there was a safety net for those in need.. most people were reluctant, and were industrious to get off public assistance as soon as they could..most were even embarrassed to apply/accept it. Nowadays, we have too many recipients that feel its a "family business" to pass down to their children and vote against any efforts to "downsize" the programs.
---
Have you noticed that responsible people with jobs and families they are accountable to/for are not the ones rioting on the streets protesting? Have you wondered why "mainscream media" does not knock on doors of non-rioters and ask for their opinion/take on the issues?
---
The IRS claimed that 30,000 e-mails were lost/destroyed before Lois Lerner was outed as a political mole for the White House, and then backup tapes was discovered but not turned over to the Congressional Investigation. Now, those backup tapes, over 400 tapes, have been intentionally erased. The Congressional Committee should put freeze on existing and future IRS pension payments until all of the e-mails appear again. Wanna bet some folks will come forward with new information?
---
Good grief...the best a White House spinmeister for OObamaCRAP can point to is that insurance companies are doing fine. Excuse me, but when more people are under force to buy it, and insurance companies can increase policy costs at the same time deductibles are increased, what doesn't the insurance industry like about that?
---
I'm curious.. how can the Supreme Court expand one group's civil rights at the expense of another group's civil rights?
---
Which black robed group endangers the future of America the most.. ISIS or the US Supreme Court liberals?
---
Does the Supreme Court ruling on all states recognizing another state's laws on same sex marriage mean that all states have to recognize other states' law legalizing marijuana? How about concealed carry licenses?
On the other hand, why are some states allowed to legalize marijuana, when an abutting state has a law that prohibits it? In other words, how can the government make any state enforce anther state's laws if that issue is not covered in a federal law binding all states to one common law?
---
There's too much "flapping" going on about flags now.. not the flags, but the lips flapping about it.. when you get down to it.. our national flag flew over the slave era ((and that's exactly what it was.. no more.. no less) and the fact that this country has weathered it, and changed it, and moved forward is a great testament to the strength of the will of the American people. Let's not throw American history and resolve under Obamageddon's bus... no flag is perfect.. but doesn't that represent us.. and our heritage?
---
Jonathan Gruber triple-double extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "To all of those who are still worrying about Hillary Clinton’s e-mail, it wasn’t illegal to do what she did when she did it. You can’t make a law retroactive. Grow up!" -- Good grief.. it was against the law, federal law, for Hillary not to turn over her e-mails when she resigned.. it was also against security protocol for her not to use the government's servers for government correspondence, and I'm pretty sure there are restrictions (if not laws) about employees mixing personal e-mails with government e-mails. I'm real curious why libs are so intent.. so eager to defend known liars, but crucify anyone who's not a Democrat who has a different opinion about the honesty in government..
---
After reading the interview with our Sheriff, John Darr, I believe the budget problems could be better resolved by restructuring/revamping the DA's office and making federal and/or state legislatures/court systems' mandates be paid for by the branch that imposes such mandates..all our citizens will be better served with speedier processing of crimes.
---
Thinking about it.. Justices Kennedy and Roberts' abandonment of the Constitution in the OObamaCRAP decision could be the downfall of Hillewinsky.... with another year plus before the 2016 election, more and more people will find out how bad the OOBamaCRAP healthcare system really is..as hospitals demand "deductibles" be paid in addition to the outrageous premiums.

Online story: "Baltimore prosecutors on Friday rejected a defense motion to move the trial of police officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray, saying jurors still could be impartial in the high-profile case." -- "jurors still could be impartial"? -- Good grief.. the Mayor nor the State Attorney of Baltimore have shown nothing but partiality... Does anyone really think... much less "feel", that the State Attorney would be impartial at striking/selecting jurors?
---
From the "hey, Algore, did "big oil" cause this" department - Online headline/story: "Scientists say climate change hastened demise of Latin America's oldest civilization * Droughts were so severe that they could have lasted between 60 and 130 years, which could explain why there were social crises in (civilizations like) Caral, Moche and Tiahuanaco, * Vichama pertains to the last period in the formation of the Caral civilization, starting roughly 3000 B.C., but around 1900 B.C. there was a deep crisis that we are investigating, caused by climate change," she said." -- I thought Algore said "climate change" was ongoing and irreversable...I also remember when he said "climate change" would destroy Earth in fact in 2008, Algore boldly declared to a German audience that “the entire North ‘polarized’ cap will disappear in 5 years, while the fact is that the ice cap in the Arctic actually got larger this year. Idiot...
---
Random Question: Have you noticed any successful black business leaders speaking out about how culturally unfair and biased capitalism is?
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "White House Goes Rainbow After Gay Marriage Supreme Court Decision" -- Aside from the obvious fact that the White House knew the verdict before it was published (that's OK, "he" is the president, but was the Speaker of the House notified as well?), but did Obamageddon have another appropriate response waiting.. say like red, white, and blue... ready to go had the Constitution been upheld?
---
Online headline: "‘Court is not a legislature’: Roberts rips gay marriage ruling, day after he backed ObamaCare" -- Good grief.. will the real John Roberts please stand up? How can Roberts get bent out of shape that "words" in laws don't mean anything, when the day before he stood up and said the "words" of the OObamaCRAP law meant something else than what was printed? The man doth protest too much. By the way. Roberts IS right in that the Court system is not the legislature.. just wished it practiced what he preached... yesterday, rather than the day before.
---
Now that the Supreme Court has legitimized perverseness, how about it if the police start arresting public displays of lascivious acts in parades.
---
After yesterday's attacks in France and Tunisia, as I look over travel brochures for trips next year, food fondness will not be the only qualifier... Even more important will be the number of Jihadists that live in a country.
---
Random thought: It sure is nice this week to look at PGA golf.. the greens are actually green...
---
That second guard being questioned about sneaking tools to the two escaped murderers admits doing it but didn't think about them using the tools in an escape....Good Grief! What did he think they were going to do, make a pilot reality show on remodeling your cell?
---
Following the US Supreme Court aberration, hearing Obamageddon state that OObamaCRAP is "here to stay" is encouraging..we know he lies about everything.
---
Beginning Wednesday, July 1st.. every gallon of gas you pump in GA will cost you over 53-cents in taxes. In perspective, "big oil" makes only about 4-cents per gallon in profit. Even sadder is that the 53-cents in taxes will increase at the whim of government.
---
Online story: "Several special interest groups have come together to protest Father's Day as a day of discrimination, as it allegedly stacks the deck against those women who are unable to become fathers, as well against those men who have chosen not to. * "It's like an annual poke in the eye," said one concerned citizen, who did not wish to be self-identified as a member of any particular orientation nor gender. "As Michelle Obama recently said, the time has come to reconsider our traditions and reexamine our historical perspectives in order to accommodate this new generation who may not wish to glorify the barbaric practice known to previous generations as fatherhood. - "women who are unable to become fathers"? "barbaric practice"? My first question is why would even "mainscream media" even consider this "news" worthy of publishing? Secondly, we should all pray.. especially women who are wives and mothers and aunts, people like this aren't allowed a "day in the Supreme Court".. we have no idea how Justices Roberts and Kennedy will define the word "father"...Oh, and to all those "women who complain about not being able to be a father".. good grief.. just call Caitlyn for a referral...but their first issue is why they cannot embrace and enjoy being a female mother...
---
Soapbox moment: You know.. the founding fathers didn't create the US Supreme Court to be whimsical. Why is it now acceptable for judges to interpret any case on personal feelings or biases? For that matter, how can appointees be considered for their personal politics and biases when that's not the purpose of the Supreme Court?
---
L-E's " Thought for Today": “The main dangers in this life are the people who want to change everything — or nothing.” — Viscountess Nancy Astor, American-born British politician (1879-1964)." -- Not exactly.. it's more like the main danger in life are the people who want to change ANYTHING but don't want to sell others on the benefits change can bring.
---
L-E headline: "Obama delivers unvarnished race lecture at eulogy" -- Fancy this.. a prime example of my opinion above.. Truth is, Obamageddon "varnishes" everything... sorta like when he preaches the merits of "diversity" but wants everything one color. If he had time (NO, please don't give him more), Obamageddon would "varnish" over the "rainbow"...
---
L-E's "Quotable": “If a June night could talk, it would probably boast it invented romance.” - Bernard Williams British philosopher (1929-2003)" -- Fat chance.. Algore has probably already claimed that..you know he claimed he invented the Internet, but did you know he claimed ""Love Story" was based on he and Tipper? On the other hand, we can give him credit for creating the "climate change" myth...(see item #2 above)
---
L-E "headlie": "Columbus officer involved in hit-and-run incident" -- "involved"? he was a VICTIM!

Have you seen recent pictures of Neil Young? I think he need to thinl about changing hih first name to "NoLonger".

L-E "headlie"/story: "Kardashian to speak to prestigious club * The 33-year-old reality star is set to speak to the Commonwealth Club next week to discuss her new book of selfies and her famous family, along with “the business of millennial culture, (and) the objectification of women in media.” -- Good grief.. any "club" that would book any KarFLASHian cannot claim to be "prestigious" any more.. Besides, what on Earth new could anyone learn about any KasFLASHian I've seen fish bowls with more privacy!

Friday, June 26, 2015

That Supreme Court ruling..I'm afraid this is the beginning of the end when 6 Judges can make a decision based on politics versus upholding the spirit and letter of the Constitution. The sad thing is that this decision benefits Republican candidates in the next election cycle because Democrats & "mainscream media" cannot make this "the issue". Of course, Dems and " mainscream media" will campaign that the Republicans "wanted" to do this and only the Supreme Court decision stopped them.
---
You know.. in effect, the US Supreme Court has elevated the IRS, an entity CREATED by Congress rather than the Constitution, to have equal, maybe more, power than Congress. The IRS decided it could interpret a law Congress spelled out, and overrule the restrictions, and 6 members of the Supreme Court agreed with the IRS.

---
How do OObamaCRAP Subsidies help "hard working" American families? Seems to me that most of the subsidies are going to unemployed people and putting even more pressure on those "hard actually working" families.

---
You know..listening to Obamageddon speechify about the Supreme Court decision was discouraging. He basically avoided conversation/details involved about the actual issue being the words in his law that actually forbid subsidies in states that didn't offer "exchanges", and about the IRS overturning the law on its own.

---
One Obamageddon spinmeister said the Supreme Court ruled on what Congress "intended" the law to mean..Who knows what Congress meant..Even Pelosi voted on it without reading it first.

---
Wow..knowing Chief Justice John Roberts is younger than me is not very reassuring..He'll probably be on the bench when I die. Now, since he was appointed by George W. Bush, I do see an opportunity for Jeb Bush..if he'll promise to get Roberts to retire if he gets elected, I'll vote for Jeb..

---
I'm not a Confederate flag waver..but I do believe it should be allowed to be flown on historical sites, and I believe that people should not be able to use it in an abusive manner. That's the same way I feel about our American flag. too, but our Supreme Court says abusing it is allowable under our 1st Amendment. Now... I am offended by school systems that allow other countries' flags given equal or better treatment, and I am offended by the Washington State governor for ordering the Chinese flag to be flown next to and equally in height ( against our flag protocol) outside the Statehouse of his state. We are one country and we have one flag.
---
You know.. the flags of the Confederacy flew only 4 years, while the flag of the North flew over slavery from 1776 to December 6th 1865 when the 13th Amendment was ratified. It wasn't a Confederate flag that flew in Boston Harbor as slaves were unloaded ... it wasn't a Confederate flag flapping in the wind above Boston's slave auctions....it's not a Confederate flag that's flying over the White House or US Capitol Building while millions of people are enslaved under Democrat Party created entitlement programs..

---
Is anyone surprised at the black leaders being out in droves calling to remove every historical Civil War symbol/memorial of the South? Not me. .. when have you ever seen a parasite stop feeding once it's hunger has been sated?

---
I just looked on the Southern Poverty Center website.. the SPC esimates that there are between 5,000-8,000 members in the KKK split up between several "warring" groups. The SPC also estimates that the New Black Panther Party, another "hate group" has more than 10,000..

---
Side note on above info: "The Justice Department filed civil charges of voter intimidation in January 2009 under the Voting Rights Act (the Bush Administration, which filed the charges in its last hours, chose not to pursue a criminal case) against King Samir Shabazz, Jerry Jackson, the New Black Panther Party and Malik Zulu Shabazz. They won the case by default in April 2009 when the defendants did not appear in court. But DOJ officials under the Obama Administration decided to drop most of the charges, saying the evidence did not substantiate the allegations that votes were suppressed or that the party or its leader were culpable. They did, however, get an injunction against Samir Shabazz that forbade him to bring a weapon to any Philadelphia polling place until 2012. * In January 2010, Samir Shabazz was reinstalled as head of the newly reactivated Philadelphia chapter. On April 23, 2010, he wrote in a reference to the prosecutors who investigated the case against him, "You are nothing more than a modern day lynch mob." In May 2010, Assistant Attorney General Thomas Perez defended the Department of Justice's decision to drop the charges. He cited local officers' decision to allow Jackson to remain when they removed Samir Shabazz (suggesting that Jackson was not intimidating voters) and the fact that there were no similar incidents at other polling stations. These facts, Perez argued, exonerated Jackson, Malik Shabazz, and the NBPP from charges of voter intimidation. Nevertheless, a wide array of right-wing and conservative individuals and groups attacked the DOJ's decision as supposedly revealing the Obama Administration's refusal to pursue cases against black racists." -- Interesting.. the SPC considers the KKK and the NBPP "hate groups with the NBPP being considerably larger in number, and the Obamageddon Administration refuses to pursue cases against "black racists". Ironic... on this basis, the SPC says Obamageddon is a "racist".

---
Online story: "Jennicet Gutiérrez, an undocumented trans woman immigrant from Mexico, interrupted the president at the beginning of his address shouting for him to “release all LGBTQ immigrants from detention and stop all deportations” Obama fired back, to the the sound of applause from annoyed White House guests, and told her, “You’re in my house” and “Shame on you” before having her escorted out of the premises." -- Good grief.. a known transgendered illegal alien was, I assume, invited to the White House, and humiliated by Obamageddon.. where is the "line drawn in the sand" on any of the issues this encompasses?

---
GM is back? Hmmm ... 3 of the top six cars (including the worst two) that owners get rid of in the first year are GM vehicles.. the worst one is the Buick Regal and Chevy's Sonic and Cruze are numbers 6 and 2 on the list..

---
There's a movement to vandalize/destroy historical symbols and heritage in this country...isn't that was ISIS is doing also?

I.T.T ad claim .."financial help is available for those who qualify"... Hmmmm, wonder how many students graduate from high school not knowing what "qualify" means or entails?

WTVM9 story: "Both sides are claiming victory after a judge rules on the City of Columbus' motion to dismiss a claim filed by Muscogee County Marshal Greg Countryman and Municipal Court Clerk Vivian Bishop. * In the ruling released Wednesday, Superior Court Judge Hilton Fuller of DeKalb County said the mayor, city council, city attorney and city manager were all covered under "sovereign immunity" and could not be sued in their official capacities. * Fuller ruled that Columbus Mayor Teresa Tomlinson and several city leaders cannot be sued in their official capacities." -- Well.. what about us citizens! We're the ones who are/will be paying for this.. maybe one government group can protect another government group, but we citizens can "sue"... at the ballot box.. Let's take out Bishop (both of them while we're at it), Countryman, and any Councilors who support Mayot TomLYINGson on this issue.

A "definitely get's it" L-E "soundoff": " Mary Sanchez stokes racial flames by insisting the racist church killer in Charleston is representative of millions. “We” and a flag created him. Just like “we” killed the Kennedys, according to the Stones." -- I know it's against the principles of liberal journalists, but Ms Sanchez should do "some" research before making claims. I just looked on the Southern Poverty Center website.. the SPC estimates that there are between 5,000-8,000 members in the KKK split up between several "warring" groups. The SPC also estimates that the New Black Panther Party, another "hate group" has more than 10,000.. I'm not sure what pleases Ms Sanchez the most.. her undocumented fears, or her choice to remain ignorant?
---
From the L-E's "Today in history" feature: "In 1963, President John F. Kennedy visited West Berlin, where he delivered his famous speech expressing solidarity with the city’s residents, declaring: “Ich bin ein Berliner” (I am a Berliner). -- Hmmm.. and all Obamageddon's legacy will recall is the "Trayvon Martin could have been my son."
---

Soapbox moment: From the "lost in the moment of another issue so we didn't see this coming...again" department: "A sharply divided Supreme Court on Thursday preserved a key tool used for more than four decades to fight housing discrimination, handing a surprising victory to the Obama administration and civil rights activists. * The justices ruled 5-4 that federal housing law allows people to challenge lending rules, zoning laws and other housing practices that have a harmful impact on minority groups, even if there is no proof that companies or government agencies intended to discriminate." --

 " even if there is no proof that companies or government agencies intended to discriminate."?

 ...You know.. the Democrats forced banks and mortgage companies to forego sound lending practices about having the ability to make good on loans, and it collapsed the banking and housing markets, and pretty well "tanked" our economy, and now the US Supreme Court has decided that a second round of foregoing sound business practices needs to be the law of the land. Do you think that the US Supreme Court doesn't understand that their lifetime jobs are only good if our current Constitution and the American people survive? Does the Supreme Court believe it will have equal standing within a rewritten constitution of a despot form of government? Heaven help us...

Online headline: "Second worker linked to prison break arrested * State police said Wednesday Gene Palmer faces charges including promoting prison contraband and tampering with physical evidence." -- Remember that ad we used to hear when "right to work" laws were taking hold.... "look for the union label"? looks like they need a new one... "look for the union liable"..

---
From above story: "A maximum-security prison guard who delivered frozen meat with tools hidden inside to two inmates before they escaped will be arraigned on charges of promoting prison contraband and other offenses. * But a lawyer for correction officer Gene Palmer says his client had no knowledge any contraband was inside the meat." -- Good grief...why would a guard be delivering anything, much less "frozen meat" to a prisoner?

---
Online headline: "Obama's hostage recovery plan incites criticism" -- "incites criticism"? How about "DEMANDS criticism"... like the way he's "planned": border patrols, increases in the National Debt, tactics to pass OObamaCRAP, IRS investigations, Hillewinsky/Benghazi investigations, and Civil Rights purges?

---
Online story: "Boston Marathon Bomber Brother 2 returned to court Wednesday to be formally sentenced to death and listened as a procession of victims and their loved ones lashed out at him for his "cowardly" and "disgusting" acts. * Patricia Campbell, mother of 29 year old Krystle Campbell who was killed, was the first person to address the court. She looked across the room at Tsarnaev, seated about 20 feet away, and spoke directly to him. "I don't know what to say to you. I think the jury did the right thing." -- Yes, the jury did the right thing... now.. let's pray the government does the right thing and honor the victim's and jury's wishes for a SPEEDY execution.. today would be GREAT.

---
Online story: "Alex Rodriguez has joined Hank Aaron as the only players in major league history with 2,000 career RBIs." -- Hmmm. of course Aaron will be the only one on the list without a tainted (*) by his name for steroid/HGH use.

---
Online story: "The two U.S. senators who spearheaded a failed background check bill in the wake of the Sandy Hook shooting massacre reportedly are considering a second gun control push after last week's mass shooting in Charleston. * Manchin reportedly mentioned a measure meant to keep guns away from those with mental illness. " -- Hmmm.. about the only way to do this would be to allow gun background checks to delve into a buyer's medical records.. Good luck in bypassing HIPPA...

---
Online headline: "As talks between the two countries came to a close Wednesday, John Kerry said China agreed to work together on a cyber code of conduct." -- Good grief.. of course China is willing to do this.. China already has our info, and Kerry wants to curb US abilities to get info on China...

---
Online story: " IRS employees erased computer backup tapes a month after officials discovered that thousands of emails related to the tax agency's tea party scandal had been lost, according to government investigators. * The investigators, however, concluded that employees erased the tapes by mistake, not as part of an attempt to destroy evidence. * As many as 24,000 emails were lost because 422 backup tapes were erased" -- Good grief.. my first question is: Why didn't the investigation committee subpoena/confiscate these when they were first discovered? My second is, Why was Nixon scourged for erasing 18 minutes of tape? My third is: How many other departments erase back up tapes on anything? My next is: Do you think someone in IRS did this without an Obamageddon staffer being contacted before doing so?

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Obama abandons drone promise" -- Ooops. my bad.. thought Obamageddon alerted "mainscream media" that his future speeches would be longer than his past ones.

---
HuffPOOPOO story from above headline: "- President Barack Obama has abandoned his two-year push to consolidate his controversial targeted killing program under Pentagon control and has spent the past several months finalizing a new plan that would give the Defense Department and the CIA joint control of drone strikes, sources tell The Huffington Post. * Two years ago, Obama promised during a speech at the National Defense University that he would move the CIA's controversial drone program out of the covert shadows and into the relative sunlight of the Defense Department. " -- Good grief.. is "mainscream media" so naive that it actually believed an Obamageddon promise?

A week from yesterday is when the new taxes come on board in Georgia... state gas taxes will now be grouped under an excise tax and jump 19.03-cents per gallon on July 1st ( the total gas tax would go up to about 53 cents a gallon, but that includes the federal 18.4 cents federal gas tax ) and...once the preliminary excise tax rate is established, it shall be multiplied by the annual percentage of increase or decrease in the Consumer Price Index, which means government will intentionally try to escalate inflation). Also, you electric vehicle owners (golf carts as well?) will get hit with a $200.00 fee, and if you "vacation" in Georgia, your rooms will cost an extra $5.00 per night with the additional state occupational tax. Happy vacationing, And in Columbus' situation, Phenix City, AL will become the destination for GA drivers to "fill up", and the new Phenix City hotel will fill before any Columbus rooms are booked.

Online story: "Coming on the heels of one of the worst data breaches in U.S. history, new questions surfaced Wednesday about a $21 million government contract for credit monitoring services that was awarded by the Office of Personnel Management in less than 48 hours. * The contract, awarded to Winvale and subcontractor CSID, raised eyebrows not only because of its pricetag, and the speed with which it was awarded, but also because of complaints about its service, including 90-minute wait times for those trying to call." -- hmmm... a no bid contract? Interesting is a connection uncovered in 2006/07 of convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff having a Winvale/DEO Kevin Lancaster phone number.

---
Online story: "Dr. Ben Carson was speaking at the recently held Faith and Freedom Conference as part of his campaign to become the next president of the United States. * an atheist called him a “moron” for believing in God, Dr. Ben Carson responded with one brilliant line that put the atheist in his place. * “I believe I came from God, and you believe you came from a monkey,” he told the individual, “and you’ve convinced me you’re right.” -- Whatta diplomat....Ben Carson for Secretary of State!

---
Random thought: The Lottery should not be able to advertise..to begin with..somebody's friend or brother-in-law probably has the contract, but when the ads exclaim how easy it is, and everybody has " Lucky Numbers" that are bound to win..it's like bait-&-switch. If everybody's numbers were so lucky, the lottery would be out if business.

Heinz just opened up a can of worms by attacking "French's Mustard"...French now has multi-flavored mustards ...plus is now selling Ketchup.... my new favorite brand of ketchup as well.

With our youngest daughter graduated from HS, and off to college in the Fall (mid-summer to be accurate), we look to begin traveling more next Spring, and are looking at brochures. This us going to be easier than I thought picking out an itinerary.. I can rule out France, Germany, and Greece because I'm not to find of their food.

A Seattle man was ticketed for holding up a sign warning of police ticketing motorist just ahead. What's the difference in a private citizen helping drivers be more wary of their driving offenses, and a police car just sitting visibly on the side of the road to remind drivers " we're watching you"?

Even though Democrats erected all the Confederate monuments/flags, "mainscream media" says Republicans are to blame and need to take them down. Republicans should leverage this to make the Democrats end their toxic and racist hate campaigns . A good start, and maybe the only one needed, would be to muffle Obamageddon, Al Sharlatan, and the DOJ.

----
Yes, Democrats are responsible for the Confederate flag issues.. Name me an elected Lincoln-coattail-riding-Republican in the South in the 1860-1865 time frame..

---
It must be killing Hillewinsky...that she has to run against Obamageddon's platform rather than the Republicans, because she knows her preferred "Hope and Change" platform is the same as Obamageddon's and after 6-8 years even liberals know it's not working.

---
Our top Democrats, Obamageddon and Kerry, are learning a vital lesson from negotiating with Iran.. There is no victory giving up good to the Devil. Now they feel what America and Republicans in Congress have felt having to give up good to evil Democrat ideals.

---
It's quite clear why Al Sharlatan has stayed out if South Carolina this past week....no riots, no mayhem, and his number one tool to exploit guilt donations to his business had been taken off the table.

---
ISIS terrorist are destroying ancient monuments of history . Start taking out 2 or 3 mosques at prayer call every time any antiquity is defaced or destroyed.

---
Now the Ayatollah Khomeini is on twitter. Imagine..Obamageddon and the Ayatollah are negotiating nuclear options via 140 symbol tweets. These two are definitely two "Big Twits"

---
Online story: Hillary Clinton is refusing to say whether a Clinton-Gore pin featuring a Confederate flag was part of her husband's official campaign merchandise." -- Hmm... "won't say"?... more like "won't lie"! Probably because even "mainscream media" and Al Sharlatan wouldn't let this lie slide..

Educational update: "Georgia ranked near the bottom among U.S. states when it came to investing in education after the Great Recession, according to two new reports. * The state spent $4,466 per pupil during the 2011-12 school year, below the 50-state average of $6,189, according to a June report by the Center for State and Local Finance at Georgia State University. Georgia spent less than any of its adjoining states except Florida, ranking 40th. * Georgia’s rank rose six places when local revenue was added, since less than half of educational funding came from state coffers. But the total per-student amount of $9,402 was still less than the $11,337 average among states. * Georgia paid its teachers better than might be expected: The average salary during the 2013-14 school year was $52,924. That’s below the national average of $56,610, but it’s 23rd among states and above the per-capita personal income in Georgia of $39,097. " -- Hmmm two things are "perfectly clear" here.. one, private schools have better results and it costs less (Brookstone the exception" to send your child to private schools, and secondly, teacher's pay in GA is 33% higher than the average Georgians per-capita personal income..

---
Hey, MCSD! The 630,000 square foot Johnson Textile building is available for $3.9 Million (that's' about $6.20 a square foot) and make it a wrestling/weight room facility for all Columbus high schools rather than build separate ones at $312.00 a square foot...You could even build some "guest ones" and rent those out to the Phenix City/Riussell County school systems.

---
A "not sure which category" this L-E$ :soundoff" belongs: " Are state flags next on the NAACP hit list? I refer to states that had a slave population a century and a half ago." -- Is he taliking about the state flags of the secessionist states or all the states before the 1820 Missouri Compromise as well? Also, did you know, that at the time of the outbreak of the Civil War, Martland, and Bleep Veep Biden's state of Delaware were still slave states?

Info for above: "The 13th amendment to the Constitution of the United States was proposed to the legislatures of the several states by the Thirty-eighth Congress, on January 31, 1865 . the Secretary of State declared, in a proclamation dated December 18, 1865, to have been ratified by the legislatures of 27 of the 36 states.

The dates of ratification were:
Illinois, February 1, 1865;
Rhode Island, February 2, 1865;
Michigan, February 2, 1865;
Maryland, February 3, 1865;
New York, February 3, 1865;
Pennsylvania, February 3, 1865;
West Virginia, February 3, 1865;
Missouri, February 6, 1865; Maine, February 7, 1865;
Kansas, February 7, 1865;
Massachusetts, February 7, 1865;
Virginia, February 9, 1865;
Ohio, February 10, 1865;
Indiana, February 13, 1865;
Nevada, February 16, 1865;
Louisiana, February 17, 1865;
Minnesota, February 23, 1865;
Wisconsin, February 24, 1865;
Vermont, March 9, 1865;
Tennessee, April 7, 1865;
Arkansas, April 14, 1865; Connecticut, May 4, 1865;
New Hampshire, July 1, 1865;
South Carolina, November 13, 1865;
Alabama, December 2, 1865;
North Carolina, December 4, 1865;
Georgia, December 6, 1865.

The 13th Amendment was "ratified" on December 6th, with Georgia's confirmation.. in fact, 8 of the 25 states necessary to ratify the 13th were Southern States. The other states took up until March 18, 1976 when Kentucky finally did so.. but of particular note is that Delaware, Bleep Veep Biden's home state did not ratify it until, February 12, 1901 (Delaware actually rejected the amendment on February 8, 1865). Dirty laundry sure is revealing ...

Almost "Get's it" L-E "soundoff": " Disabled veterans: You are the charity I donate to and you aren’t receiving enough money. ---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “A straight line is the shortest in morals as in mathematics.” — Maria Edgeworth,
Anglo-Irish novelist (1767-1849)." -- Hmmm... now we know why the MCSD wants "Common Core math and doesn't want a forensic audit.

I have three very good auto mechanic shops I turn to when I need .. Automotive Service (for my American made cars) on West Britt David, Willie Herald (for my 86 Porsche) on Warm Springs and Sheffield Automotive (my wife's 2004 MB Sportswagon) also on Warm Springs Road. I bring this up because I prefer to take my vehicles to mechanics (after warranties run out) that I feel works for my best interests and treats them like they are their own. That said, I will never buy another Mercedes product. As far as I can figure, only the dealer and one other repair shop have the necessary "computer set up" to service any electronic aspect on Mercedes cars,. and I do not feel either one cares to listen what I have to say. There is something wrong with a system that requires a multi-thousand dollar purchase of software that can read the compuet info on older Mercedes which limits the good mechanics ability to service them. You legal and elected readers.. "there ought to be a law" making such software available at a reasonable cost.. on the other hand.. MB doesn't care about being perceived as being friendly and reasonable... not when it comes to "service"// or lack thereof it.

L-E story: "U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch says the government is reviewing the deadly church shooting in Charleston, S. C., to determine whether any federal crimes were committed." -- Good grief.. of course there was a crime committed... against humanity and SC state law. The DOJ needs to back off and stop interfering with the immediate resolution and ultimate death penalty of the (_*_) who shot these people. All a federal investigation will do is slow down the process...

You know... at best...flags of the Confederacy flew over the period of slavery in this country for less than 4 years... while the flag of the US flew over slavery from 1776 to December 6, 1865 when the 13th Amendment was finally ratified by the non-secessionist states. In fact, the American flag flew over legal slavery in all the other states during the Civil War.

---
From the "when Rush Limbaugh nails something, he nails it well" department - Online story: "Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh claimed Democrats are the ones “responsible” for raising the Confederate flag over the South Carolina Statehouse, therefore, they should be the ones — not Republicans — deciding what to do with the divisive symbol. * Limbaugh placed blame for the Confederate flag flying over the Statehouse on former Democratic Senator Earnest “Fritz” Hollings, who served in the Senate in 1962." -- Hmm.. wonder how the White House Liar-in-Chief, the DOJ, and the DNC will spin this?

---
From above story: "“When did all this become a Republican problem? Who wrote the lyrics of the song, “Dixie?”…If you go to Arkansas, you know, all these old racial segregationists, they’re all Democrats,” Limbaugh continued. “Bill Clinton’s mentor from Arkansas, J. William Fulbright, was a proud segregationist. And Bill Clinton signed a proclamation authorizing the Confederate flag to fly over the statehouse in Arkansas.” -- Hmmm... "and the truth will set you free".

Online headline: "Autopsy reveals cause of Freddie Gray's death

Online headline: "Pope to Gun Makers and Weapons Investors: You Can't Call Yourself Christian" -- Huh? Ain't this guy the head of the organization that brought us "The Inquisition"? Pope Francis? Nah.. Poop Francis.

Soapbox moment: You know.. the biggest problem with the educational systems is that it has matriculated into a "business". It's most evident in the college/university systems, but is showing up in the K-12 programs as well, and they are being run by non-business people who do not understand/comprehend balanced budgeting, maintenance & funded depreciation, nor labor cost ratios. Why aren't our Superintendents brought in from the business world instead of the educational world. Just look at the budgets here in Muscogee County, GA. In 1990, the entire MCSD budget was $54,000,000.00... now its over $260,000,000.00 and neither the majority of students nor the community is benefiting.

HuffPOOPOO headline: "Why The Confederate Battle Flag Is Even More Racist Than You Think"

This is how Obamageddon can say he's created jobs.. this is a picture of a work crew picking up "tar balls" on a beach in Santa Barbara, CA following an oil spill

There are probably as many people as tar balls per square foot.

The American flag flew over the piers in Boston as slaves were unloaded onto the piers in Boston Harbor.. Philadelphia, and NYC as well, and surely flew over the slave auction blocks in those cities as well.
Why are libs not concerned that Northern state's ships flying the American Flag transported slaves? For that matter, why don't libs ostracize/ current generations of ancestors of those Northern slave traders?
---
Hmmm... another question we need to address with the libs.. Hitler's flags are synonymous with hatred, but why isn't the Japanese flag?
---
Just wondering... How can a court system authorize/support the flying of other countries' flags in America, yet not allow the flag of Southern history be displayed ?
---
Why are liberals taking the act of a bigot/racist to campaign against the use of a Confederate flag? Do you see these liberals campaigning for the removal of the American flag because it has been misused and abused by the DOJ's and White House offices?
---
Online story: "Drivers licenses and other documents may no longer be issued to dead people under a proposed law that that would require the state Motor Vehicle Commission to check Social Security records.
* The bill sponsored by Assemblyman Wayne DeAngelo, D-Middlesex, goes to the full assembly after it was released by the Transportation Committee on Thursday. The bill was introduced after a state audit in March found the MVC issued documents to 300 people who Social Security records listed as deceased. " -- Say what you may, and, on the surface, you may "snicker" at the irony, but.. BUT.. this will go a long way toward cleaning up voting registries as well.

There's a letter in the L-E that brings to light some good info on what would happen if the tax freeze were lifted, but not all this info appears to have been fully processed or digested. The writer ends with: "Let's address those who fear a large tax increase at the outset if the law were changed. My understanding is that those who have the freeze now will grandfather in. The application of the new law would not apply to a property until the deed to the property changes hands. Over a period of years our county would experience a steady incremental increase in tax revenues and at some point taxation on newly sold homes would lessen. To me it appears this important change can and should happen without harming anyone in the process." His facts are "as stated" but the results are not necessarily factual. People will be harmed.. especially seniors.. an unrestrained tax will make buyers of seniors' home not as willing to pay fair market value.. the thought of ever escalating taxes will make buyers more concerned over the purchase price, thus seniors selling to downsize will not get what their homes would be worth if the buyer knows his/her taxes will be frozen. It also hurts the seniors who buy a downsized home.. more than likely, a nice smaller will still be pricey, but now they will face ever escalating taxes in the future, and if they are own fixed income, increased tax bites will eat away at their security. No,, this is not a victimless solution for Mayor TomLYINGson. There's a letter following the one I'm talking about that is really more realistic as what would/could happen.. Keep the freeze.
---
You know.. if Mayor TomLYINGson and Council could... no, would, balance our budget according to expected revenues rather than raiding the Fund Balance to add non-revenue producing "frills", maybe we would listen to her arguments to take away the tax freeze.. unfortunately, that is beyond her skill AND vision levels.

Online story: "Fox News host Tucker Carlson argued over the weekend that President Barack Obama should have to give up his armed Secret Service security detail if he was going to be pushing for gun control." -- Right on.. and the "piece dividend" would be that more border security would have to be in order to keep illegal guns and aliens carrying them out of our country. In addition.. without the civilian militia envisioned by our forefathers, only the military would have guns, and not even the president is safe from a military coupe.. Ask the previous Egyption Muslim president of Egypt.

Online story: "Ali Michael, an adjunct professor and director of P-12 consulting and professional development at UPenn, says she sometimes doesn't want to be white. * Michael described her own “Rachel Dolezal Phase,” Michael stated that the more she learned about the history of racism the more she hated herself, her ancestors, and her descendants." -- Wow.. I hope parents who are shelling out 'big bucks' for their children to attend an Ivy League school see this and pull their children out. Who wants a school to hire professors to enlighten their children who doesn't have a clue as to who or what she is?

Special moment: Fathers' Day always mixes past memories into present day life. I remember my first day of Little League tryouts..It was exciting.. it was scary as well as Dad signed me up at the fields behind Wells Dairy at the corner of Buena Vista & Brown Avenue. The first part of tryouts consisted of being given a cup, and go out into the infield dirt and pick up a cupful of stones/pebbles to get a few "bad bounces" off the field. That done, us first time signups (I was 8) were sent to various parts of the outfield to shag flies and grounders so coaches could get an idea of the skills we brought with us. I trudged out carrying my Dad's glove he used when I was using my older brothers glove playing catch in our front yard. It seemed like there were a hundred other kids out there, but maybe that was because I was probably more interested in following the flight of a butterfly than fly balls. Suddenly, I saw Dad approaching..He was smiling, and asked me if he could have his glove back. I reluctantly handed it over, and as I did, his other hand came out from behind his back with a brand new Wilson Ball Hawk . It was beautiful! He had even oiled it up, and tied a string around it to hold a baseball inside to help form the 'pocket'. I slipped it own and became the right handed Ted Williams wandering left field at Fenway. I loved baseball...

Those "walk in tubs" being advertised for "as low as $150.00 a month..but then put in small print " for $120 months". Excuse me, but at $18,000+ at a minimum, it looks like this us pretty exploitive of seniors and their estates.

L\Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Voting is more regulated than guns. Voting is also a right." -- Yeah right.. I don't believe I was fingerprinted to apply to vote.. Jonathan Gruber triple-double extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "You can feed your children whatever you want to at home; make them as fat as you desire. I’m just thankful that our First Lady is trying to do something to help them get at least one healthy meal a day." -- Good grief.. would children be better off and less obese if Michelle concentrated on healthier foods for the 2 meals children eat at home bought with food stamps?

"Get's it" L-E "soundoff": " I’m sure the family and friends of Steve Toms can understand what the families of the Charleston church victims are going through." -- Unfortunately, "mainscream media" doesn't "get" this.

L-E story: "ATLANTA — Jury selection in the trial of a man accused of killing a police officer in Athens will continue after the state high court dismissed a series of appeals. * J(_*_)mie Hood ( hmmm.. more than appropriate) faces the death penalty in the 2011 slaying of Officer Elmer “Buddy” Christian III." -- Hey, Al Sharlatan... can we count on you to be in the court room wearing a "Police Lives Matter" t-shirt?

Online headline: "Your local bank branch may soon disappear * There has been a 40 percent decrease in bank branches across the U.S. over the last 15 years, and the decline is only expected to escalate" -- Hmmm.. the battle between Minimum Wage and Minimum Rage.. ATM's.. "Access The Money"

HuffPOOPOO headline: "The Greek crisis explained." -- Oooops, my bad.. thought we were going to learn why Teresa Sullivan was still president of the University of Virginia after her sexist stoppage of fraternity functions.

HuffPOOPOO headline:: "White Supremacist Donates Thousands To GOP Campaigns" -- On the other hand.. donations by Black Supremacists groupd "Nation of Islam" and the "New Black Panthers" to Democrats are holy....yeah yeah.

I remember the day..no, the shot that endeared me to golf. Dad took me out..I guess I was 10 or 11. One number 1 at the CCC, I squibbed my tee shot right into #18. ..way right...I was less than enthused to continue, but Dad comforted me, and suggested a grip modification and handed me a 4-wood he'd had caddymaster,club maker Howard Pitts cut down for me. I half-heartedly swung but hit it perfectly straight and solid. It climbed and soared over the old oak trees separating #1 & 18, and flew over the corner of the dogleg. Something happens when you catch one like that.. I can still sense that feeling today. Thanks, Dad.

Chambers Bay thoughts:

1 - Dustin Johnson had an eagle putt to win, or if he missed, a birdie to tie for an 18 hole playoff today. He missed..my guess is Johnson just didn't want to play another 18 holes on Chambers Bay..Either that, or whoever was insuring Taylormade's promotion to give a refund on all pre-tournament purchases of its top two drivers if Johnson won, made Johnson an offer he couldn't refuse.

2 - I believe that even if you tossed horse shoes instead of putting, the horse shoes would slide off the greens.

3 - I'm gonna bet that the USGA has a ton of leftover, unwanted Chambers Bay merchandise and it's not gonna move at clearance prices.

4 - Those greens at Chambers Bay are unbelievable..Balls rarely "roll".. they wobble.

5 - Even the "patrons" from the Pacific Northwest were an aberration to the game..From the cheering, I had to wonder if a lot of them had been recruited from some of the golf scenes from "Happy Gilmore".

6 - Jason Day had a 57' putt from the upper level of number #4. He had to aim it perpendicular to the straight line to the hole and let it trickle down to the hole. He hit the putt where he wanted but it bumped left instead of right so it stayed on top of the hill. This is a horrible golf course.

7 - On number 4, Jason Day hit a slight draw off the tee hit in the left side of the fairway. It drifted 40 yards down the slope TO THE RIGHT rough and into the right rough. About the same time, Rory McIlroy hit a nine iron on the 158 yard downhill par 3 #15, and it landed on the green, maybe 20 feet short and it rolled back off the green leaving him a steep uphill 60' putt. This is not golf...at least it's not golf that normal folks would want to be faced with.

8 - You know, the sand in the traps at Chamber Bay golf golf course look like it was bought from a crematorium .

9 - Rumor has that Chambers Bay golf course designer Robert Trent Jones, Jr has been hired to redesign all the "greens" and "hazards" for PUTT-PUTT, and the next camouflage pattern for the Army.

10 - Now I know why the USGA...PGA for that matter...doesn't need to schedule tournaments on the West coast..The last tee time wasn't until dinner time here, and I was ready for bed before they finished.

11 - The first three days, the trains running through Chambers Bay slowed down, even stopped on occasion. Today they seemed to speed up. I guess the engineers wanted to get off the course even more than the golfers.

12 - Even the Fox weather warning/info icon for "Sever Thunderstorms" had rough time on Chambers Bay..the multi-county picture looked like it was part of the course but covered up the hole the golfers were putting at.

13 - You know, if someone stole all the flags from the greens at Chambers Bay, do you think any of the golfers would know where the greens actually are?

14 - Gary Player nailed it when he said the US Open announcers should have to wear lie detectors when praising Chambers Bay. You know, if I wanted to play a course like Chambers Bay, I would only have to drive a few miles, in any direction in GA or AL the day after peanuts or cotton was harvested.

Online story: "During an interview on Thursday, 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton practically blamed Donald Trump for the Charleston massacre by implying that his “inflammatory” rhetoric “could trigger someone who is less than stable.” -- Trump responded: "pretty pathetic"... hmmm.. desperate, too, ...yes, Hillewinsky is indeed those..

Once again.. liberal "Hysterians" don't get the facts right.. The rectangular Confederate Battle Flag.. rally flag of liberal hate, never flew over a slave in the South.. According to The Museum of the Confederacy (http://www.moc.org/collections-archives/flags-confederacy) "The Army of Tennessee pattern battle flag was ordered by Gen. Joseph Johnston in an attempt to standardize the flags carried by the Western Army. This rectangular design with no borders was based on the Army of Northern Virginia battle flag. The Army of Tennessee pattern battle flag was issued to units beginning in January 1864. It incorporated twelve to thirteen white stars on a blue St. Andrew's cross on a red field.", The Emanicpation Proclamation was made in 1862 and took effect on January 1, 1863.

Online story: "Margo Kaplan, a Rutgers-Camden law professor, an NYU and Harvard graduate, took to the op-ed pages to argue that we’ve got it all wrong when it comes to pedophilia. She writes that pedophiles don’t necessarily turn out to be child molesters and that pedophilia is not a choice, i.e. a pedophile might be born that way." -- Oh.. pedophiles are VICTIMS! Or is it that Kaplan believes they are normal and we should welcome them in our society to complete the circle of diversity. Good grief.. Reagan was right.. liberals just know so much that is wrong.

---L-E's "Thought for Today: “If you look at life one way, there is always cause for alarm.” — Elizabeth Bowen, Irish author (1899-1973)." -- Hmmm.. especially if you squint your eyes like a liberal.

Online story: "Heterosexual privilege” is the newest trend beginning at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW) thanks to a bulletin board exhibited in one of the campus’s residence halls. * Ogg Hall, home to many first and second-year students, prominently displayed the heterosexual privilege board so that students could read about “benefits automatically derived from being or being perceived as being heterosexual.” -- No wonder libs want to ban the Bible.. God loves us, too.

Remember Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake? Remember her holding back the police force so the rioters had plenty of "space to destroy"? Well, she applied to FEMA for $30,000.000.00 to help fix stuff.. and FEMA said, "NO!". Now, we just hope Obamageddon's pen runs out of 'red ink'.

---
Online story: "In an emotional speech that heaped scorn and blame on America for failing to pass gun control measures while it supposedly perpetuates racism, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton said white Americans need to “question our own assumptions and privilege.” -- hmmm.. I guess now Hillewinsky is declaring herself black like that woman in Spokane. Can claims that she was the first black First Lady be far behind? Nah.. just referring to herself as a "Lady" eliminates that.

Random thought: Scientist search for microbes on other planets so they can declare there's life, but a growing fetus in a woman is not considered life...

L-E commentary of Millard Grimes.. " I’d like to have a candidate who fought Congress and the Treasury Department to keep TARP from being a spoils payout to the banks that brought on the crisis." -- "banks that brought on the crisis"? Grimes has traded in his rose-colored glasses for a blindfold.. The Democratic Party . beginning with Carter and pumped up by Clinton and Democrats Frank and Dodd, made laws that would penalize banks/mortgage house if they asked for proof of income to support an applicants desire to buy a home. That discriminated against low income, especially minority, families. That's what created the bubble which burst!

L-E headline/story: "Contaminated soil to be removed from future stadium site * Officials say nearly 20,000 tons of contaminated soil will be removed from the site of a new $10 million minor league baseball stadium in suburban Detroit before play starts." -- Hmmm.. "20,000 tons of contaminated soil will be removed from the site of a new $10 MILLION minor league baseball stadium"? Well, obviously this site was either the home of the Democratic Party or Detroit Council and the contained soil was the result of Democrats realizing they had been caught bankrupting the city. That said, building a $10 Million dollar minor league stadium is a crime in it self. Psst.. don't tell our Mayor TomLYINGson about this..

Online headline/story: "New lead heats up the search for escaped prisoners * Second officer possibly involved * Officials said a corrections officer also has been placed on administrative leave as part of the investigation into the men's escape." -- Good grief...of course there was at least one other "corrections officer" involved.. somebody had to be "allowing" the two murderers access to the power tools and look the other way when they went in and out of their cells with them! My question now is: Why is the "correctional officer" on "administrative leave" and not locked up as a 'person of interest"?
---
Online headline/story: "Suspect kills police officer en route to jail * A handcuffed prisoner in a moving police cruiser grabbed a gun and fatally shot the officer at the wheel after his arrest in New Orleans. * It was unclear how the suspect got the gun, how he worked his handcuffed wrists from behind his back or why he was able to get through a barrier that separated him from the front seat." -- Hmmm.. an unarmed black street thug shot and killed a police officer... hey Al Sharlatan.. where's the protest rally for the life.. and family of Officer Daryle Holloway? Didn't his life matter?
---
Online headline: "Trade dispute reveals Democrats disfunction" -- Good grief... it's taken something like this to get "mainscream" media's attention to the dysfunction of the Democratic Party? After overlooking the lies of both Clinton's and Obamageddon over the last two decades, the collapse of the housing/mortgage industries, OObamaCRAP, plus ignoring the failure of $22 TRILLION spent on "The War on Poverty", "mainscream media" is now onto the dysfunction of the Democrats.. ARRGGGHHHH!!!!!

HuffPOOPOO headline: "SNP's (Scottish National Party - Democratic/Socialist) Record in Government Means They Can't Be Trusted With Full Fiscal Autonomy" -- Good grief.. how can the HuffPOOPOO recognize that in Scotland but not Washington?

Passed on by a fellow BCer - This is a link to the Cornell University Law School - Legal Information Institute:
U.S. Code § 2071 - Concealment, removal, or mutilation generally
https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2071
(a) Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
(b) Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term “office” does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States.
Why is Hillewinsky not in jail, and hasn't been disqualified from running for the Democratic Party nomination for president?

Chambers Bay moment:
1 - When I hit a shot to a green, and it lands within 15-20 feet of the pin, I feel pretty good..It's a good shot with a proper reward..When pro does the same, he..or she..may not feel as jubilant as I would, but it's still a birdie opportunity ...unless playing Chambers Bay.. It's ridiculous for a short iron shot hit to within 5 or 6 paces from a pin and end up in a hazard with a 20-30 yard sand shot. I hope the touring pros boycott another US Open scheduled for Chambers Bay.
2 - After bringing us a circus atmosphere at the US Open, what's the USGA got in store next year...qualifying with USGA handicaps?
3 - The US Open spiel is that this Open is ' nothing like you've ever seen before' ..I'd like to add, " and hope we never see again".
---
Let's look at Trump:
1 - We know mainscream media will focus on Trump's image, but shouldn't the focus be on his message?
2 - You know, I'd much rather vote for a person who had gotten wealthy by the fruits of his labor in the private sector rather than by one who has gotten rich by voting for other people's personal interests.

L-E story: "On the Alabama bank of the Chattahoochee River, just across from the TSYS campus, a 14-foot sculpture of a Trojan warrior, spear in hand, was erected last week." -- Hmmm sort of a "bookend to the Columbus RiverCenter's "Viagra Falls" on this side of the river.
---
I have a great idea.. learn the address of your Councilperson and Mayor TomLYINGson, and when the once-a-week garbage pickups begin.. take your garbage to the curb in front of their houses the day after they get their garbage picked up.. let them experience garbage sitting around for a week.

A "get's it" L-E "soundoff": " I understand that the NAACP is having a complete review of all personnel records to make sure that there are no more white moles infiltrating the organization." -- You know.. when will the NAACP honor Dr. King's wish that all men/women are judged by their character than their color? Whoa.. don't go trying to say "she" was run off because of her "lack of character" as the NAACP supports the Clintons and Obamageddon without concern over their lack of honesty.
---
Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "I don’t think the authors of the Second Amendment would approve of the shooter in Charleston having a gun. This disturbed person can’t be part of a well-regulated militia." -- I love it when a lib makes a point FOR the Second Amendment. Indeed the founding fathers did not condone sickos owning guns.. they guaranteed the rights of private citizens to aid and abet citizens of our country, and if the founding fathers had captured the (_*_), he'd already be tried and hung.
---
Jonathan Gruber triple-double extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Okay, so Hillary is a liar. What politician isn’t? She steals better than most politicians. Do you think she cheats more than most? She’s just better at politics than most." -- Good grief..In his February 9th blog, "Dick's World", Dick McMichael. former WTVM9 newscaster, Democrat and uber-lib, wrote: " I am against the new SPLOST proposed by the Muscogee County School District School Board; however, I plan to vote for it next month." You know.. how can libs/Democrats/mainscream media expect to get positive changes that matter when they vote for liars and wastrels who aren't going to keep their promises of positive changes? Unfortunately, Democrats know this and "blow smoke in their ears (and elsewhere)" because they know they will follow them anywhere...
---
"Get's it" L-E "soundoff": "Signs reading “Caution! Driver error has caused this intersection and its approach to be one of the most dangerous in Alabama” should be erected at J.R. Allen & U.S. 280, and at U.S. 431 & Ala. 165." -- You know if you ran a contest to pick the best and worst access ramps on the J.R. Allen Parkway, every one could be the winner in either category.

L-E headline/story: "TROY CAMPUS SPARKS GROWTH FOR PHENIX CITY RIVERFRONT * “The chancellor announces in January 2012 that Troy is going to build the building here,” White said. “We do a ground breaking in April 2012. Within six weeks, the RAM Hotels group announces its plans to build a hotel here. Within about eight weeks after that, W.C. Bradley announces that it has purchased the shopping center. Six to eight months after that, W.C. Bradley bought this last small piece between the 13th and 14th street bridges.” -- "W.C. Bradley bought this last small piece between the 13th and 14th street bridges"... hmmm... and shortly before that, our Mayor/Council bought a similarr small piece of land at the nearly the Columbus side of the 14th Street Bridge (rather than let the state acquire it by eminent domain) which means taxpayers probably paid for the Phenix City property and now Phenix City get's property taxes and Columbus doesn't.

Hmmm... Here's a quick $721,958.00 straight out of out Public Safety LOST revenues that have little or no confirmation from most of the recipients that any value is received.. especially grievous is The Junior Marshal's Program because of it's connections with Congressman Bishop by nepotism. Grante, there are a couple of the concepts I agree with and support, but there's just not enough info as to the effectiveness of most of these "grants" taken from taxpayers' wallets.

From City Manager's Agenda as published (for a stiff fee) in the Columbus L-E:
"FISCAL 2016 GEORGIA DOT — TRANSPORTATION PLANNING CONTRACT: Authorization is requested to execute a contract with the Georgia Department of Transportation for Financial Assistance to carry out the fiscal 2016 Transportation Planning Work Activities of the Columbus-Phenix City Transportation Study (C-PCTS). The Federal Funds will cover 80 percent of the cost for transportation planning program and the city is required to provide the 20 percent local match." -- We are getting screwed twice.. for every dollar we pay inn T-SPLOST taxes, we only get 85-cents returned to us (after administrative costs), and then we're having to pay 1/5th of the project in addition...
From the City's "Purchases" as published (yeah for a stiff fee) by the Columbus L-E:
" CAMERAS — It is requested that council authorize the purchase of 250 point-and-shoot cameras (Canon PowerShot ELPH 160) from 17th Street Photo Supply Inc. (New York, NY), at a unit price of $101.40, for a total price of $25,350. The cameras will be used by officers of the Columbus Police Department." -- First off, the same camera can be bought from Best Buy and Walmart here in Columbus for $99.00 per, and that's not even including any "bulk package purchase deal". Secondly, why don't the officers just use their cellphones?
---
Info wanted..needed: Hey... does anyone know who is paying for the Columbus Water Works to run water and sewage pipes to I-185. GA 315 Exit in Harris County.. I was living near there until 2003 and remember that it was going to be paid for by the WC Bradley Company to connect to a project planned near there, but so far I haven't seen anymore on that project nor who is paying for the pipe system.

L-E commentary headline: "Teaching a child to hate * Nurturing the right hatreds in your children takes determination, concentration and, most important, dedicated role-modeling * By KAREN SPEARS ZACHARIAS * If you want to teach a child to hate you have to be a hater first. You cannot teach a child to hate if you go around loving on everybody. It is best that you model hatred from a very early age. Children are sponges. They will soak up your attitudes long before they are able to mimic your words. So, first and foremost, you must be a hater yourself if you are to have any hope of raising a child to hate." -- Wow.. how timely on Father's Day.. will someone please make sure President Obama and his wife Michelle, Al Sharlatan, Pric Holder, mainscream media, and the citizens of Ferguson and Baltimore get this immediately? Our police departments need respect!
