You know, 50 years ago, there was a safety net for those in need.. most people were reluctant, and were industrious to get off public assistance as soon as they could..most were even embarrassed to apply/accept it. The IRS claimed that 30,000 e-mails were lost/destroyed before Lois Lerner was outed as a political mole for the White House, and then backup tapes was discovered but not turned over to the Congressional Investigation. Now, those backup tapes, over 400 tapes, have been intentionally erased. The Congressional Committee should put freeze on existing and future IRS pension payments until all of the e-mails appear again. Wanna bet some folks will come forward with new information?

Does the Supreme Court ruling on all states recognizing another state's laws on same sex marriage mean that all states have to recognize other states' law legalizing marijuana? How about concealed carry licenses?

On the other hand, why are some states allowed to legalize marijuana, when an abutting state has a law that prohibits it? In other words, how can the government make any state enforce anther state's laws if that issue is not covered in a federal law binding all states to one common law?

There's too much "flapping" going on about flags now.. not the flags, but the lips flapping about it.. when you get down to it.. our national flag flew over the slave era ((and that's exactly what it was.. no more.. no less) and the fact that this country has weathered it, and changed it, and moved forward is a great testament to the strength of the will of the American people. After reading the interview with our Sheriff, John Darr, I believe the budget problems could be better resolved by restructuring/revamping the DA's office and making federal and/or state legislatures/court systems' mandates be paid for by the branch that imposes such mandates..all our citizens will be better served with speedier processing of crimes.
