Algore... would you please explain how modern man and "global
warming/climate change" created the major deserts of the world.. especially the
ones in northern Africa, the mid-east, and China?

Online headline: "Kerry breaks leg in bicycle crash; retuning to US Monday"
-- Good grief..please don't show the Muppet Man wearing spandex and a biking
helmet to the Iranian nuclear weapons negotiating team!...

HuffPOOPOO "headlie"/story: "Crane accident leaves at least 10 injured in
NYC * Mechanical equipment that was being hoisted atop a Manhattan office
building fell thousands of feet, officials said Sunday. * A massive
air-conditioning unit being lifted by a crane to the top of a Manhattan office
building broke free Sunday, fell 28 stories and landed in the middle of Madison
Avenue, injuring 10 people, officials said." -- Hmmm.. "fell thousands of feet:?
Thousands indicate more than 1999 feet.. so each floor of the 28 would have to
be nearly 72 foot high.

Seen the newest California protest signs? "Water Matters".

Stanley Cup finals.. Tampa Bay versus Chicago... hmmm.. guess my money will
be on Chicago.. figure Chicago can sweep South Chicago for more street thugs for
its 'goon squad' than Tampa..
---
HuffPOOPOO story: "Two Canadian banks (Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce
and TD Bank) tightly connected to promoting the controversial Keystone XL
pipeline in the United States either fully or partially paid for eight speeches
made by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the period not long before
she announced her campaign for president. Those speeches put more than $1.6
million in the Democratic candidate's pocket. * Both banks have financial ties
to TransCanada, the company behind the Keystone XL pipeline, and have advocated
for a massive increase in pipeline capacity, including construction of Keystone.
Further, Gordon Giffin, a CIBC board member and onetime U.S. ambassador to
Canada, is a former lobbyist for TransCanada and was a contributions bundler for
Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign." -- Hey.. this is progress.. In the past..
the HuffPOOPOO would be looking for a way tospin this in Hillewinsky's
favor..

From the"just gotta mention this" department: "Box office: 'San Andreas'
eyes seismic $48M debut; 'Aloha' bombing" -- While my bride and I will pass on
"San Andreas" as we are not fans of such tragedies, it looks like America will
reward it. On the other hand, my bride and I chose to not see Aloha because of
Alec B(_*_)ldwin being in it, and America agrees..

Online headline/story: "Tyler Perry says he's 'not the person to ask about
racism' in Hollywood * his career hurdles likewise have more to do with his
unconventionality than his race. * "I've never had to go through things others
have to get things done." -- Hmm.. could it be as simple as Tyler Perry's
approach of selling his talents rather than seeking a guilt trip to get his foot
in the door?
---
After Bush43's commencement speech at SMU where he complemented the honor
grad, but gave hope to the "C" students by saying they too have a shot at being
"president", and sine Obamageddon iswell into his second term.. don't you feel
that he could humanize himself and offer "HOPE".. perhaps even "CHANGE" to
minority students by voluntarily releasing his college records?

L-E story: "Vertical construction on the Walmart Supercenter off Victory
Drive in south Columbus is about to get underway. * Chattanooga, Tenn.-based DBS
Corp. has pulled two city building permits, valued at a combined $3.9 million,
on the project that has an official address of 1544 Benning Drive. * Square
footage for that piece of the development is 21,000 square feet and 4,616 square
feet, which is the additional non-Walmart retail space and gas station that is
planned for the property that once was home to Baker High School." -- Hmmm $3.9
Million for 25,616 square feet of space.. that's about $152.00 a square foot..
Maybe the MCSD should hire "DBS" to build the new wresting/weight room
buildings.. $152.00 a square feet is less than HALF ($312.00 a sq ft) of what
the MCSD/MCSB wants to spend on shell metal buildings....

Jonathan Gruber LIV's L-E "soundoff": "If someone bought the Bradley
Theater on Broadway and played family movies it would be fantastic. Car-mike?"
-- You know this is from a liberal.. it's a suggestion for how other people
should spend their money on his/her idea.. Of course.. the liberal is further
outed by the fact that he/she doesn't know that Carmike has bought the old
Rialto Theater sorta next door, and is working on a plan.

L-E's "Late laughs" : "CHELSEA CLINTON has written a children’s book titled
“It’s Your World: Get Informed, Get Inspired & Get Going.” It’s a great book
to read to your workaholic toddler. - Seth Meyers" "a chiildren's book"? Sorry
Seth, Chelsea Clinton has written a book aimed at you and other Democrats at the
reading level the Clintons feel fits in with what Common Core graduates can
digest..

L-E story: " The $25 million project to build and shape the Chattahoochee
River whitewater course in Columbus has earned its general contractor,
Batson-Cook, multiple awards as the recreational attraction enters its third
year of operation. * West Point, Ga.-based Batson-Cook Construction recently
received the 2014 Associated General Contractors Build Georgia Award, also
taking home first place in the “Best Sustainable Building Practices” division."
-- "Best Sustainable Building Practices" award? Hmmmm.. does that mean that
Batson-Cook paid for the repairs to the wave-maker? How about the $1.9 million
in riverbank repairs following all the dam blasts and river rerouting? Just
wondering....
