Online story: "New Jersey State Police said that arrests were made late Sunday after a crowd of people without tickets attempted to get into a sold-out concert at Metlife Stadium. * New Jersey State Police said in a statement that the disturbance began when crowds of people tried to "illegally" force their way into the sold out event by climbing over fences and forcing their way through security." -- Good grief.. this is the result of an expectant entitlement crazed mentality, and the Obamageddon administration's catering to "illegals" entering our borders "without tickets".

Governor Andrew Cuomo visited the maximum security jail in New York where two murderers escaped. Rumor has it that when they are caught, they'll be put in the "double secret probation entitlement program"... no one ever escapes from there in New York...

Netflix subscriber? There's a new addition with a good cast that you didn't see at the theater. It was but a $16 Million budget film with Ray Liotta and Ashley Judd in unusual roles for them, and had a box office total of less than $3 Million. It's titled "The Identical".. it's a really good movie. Enjoy..and guess what..it's rated PG so you can enjoy it.

L-E MCSD Board meeting story: "There will be a resolution for the phasing out of the current gym and the construction of a new one at Fort Middle School. The school board has determined that the cost of upgrading the gym there is greater than the state funding to replace the gym. The gym is undersized and does not meet Department of Education standards." -- Wait a minute..."we" just got hit in the SPLAT to build a new gym..! Why is/was time and money being wasted on deciding the pros/cons of upgrading what is already there?

Soapbox Moment: "The L-E story about a grant funded non-profit, and City labor being used to clean up private properties made me think. This is not much different than a Councilor using City employees/supplies to cut his/her grass or do landscaping, and we would not tolerate that, so why is it OK to use tax revenues to clean up other peoples property?..Hey, it's NOT! Instead, Council should make an ordinance for single family/duplex property owners to sign an agreement to maintain their rental property as renters are not interested (or likely) in doing so. The property owners could make rental agreements with renters, but the owners are responsible for making sure it gets done. There could be an option for blocks that become predominantly rentals for owners to form a group to hire a single service to maintain their properties, but.... BUT...taxpayers, whether by grant money or use of City employees should not be paying for maintenance on private properties!
