You know.. Bakery owners have been put out of business and persecuted for not making wedding cakes for same-sex weddings so, why can Apple, and now Amazon.Com refuse to sell merchandise it feels offensive? Soapbox moment: I pay for a subscription for the L-E computerized E-edition. One of the sales points is that it's an electronic duplicate of the print edition. Recently, there has been a format change, and the size of the pages have been shrunk in order that a column of ads accompanies each and every page turn. This is not what I was sold nor purchased. To me this is a blight as unattractive as most of Mike Owen's "Inquirer" column findings... and it's something the L-E can correct without jumping through government hoops..
