HuffPOOPOO headline: "Why The Confederate Battle Flag Is Even More Racist Than You Think"

This is how Obamageddon can say he's created jobs.. this is a picture of a work crew picking up "tar balls" on a beach in Santa Barbara, CA following an oil spill

There are probably as many people as tar balls per square foot.

The American flag flew over the piers in Boston as slaves were unloaded onto the piers in Boston Harbor.. Philadelphia, and NYC as well, and surely flew over the slave auction blocks in those cities as well.
Why are libs not concerned that Northern state's ships flying the American Flag transported slaves? For that matter, why don't libs ostracize/ current generations of ancestors of those Northern slave traders?
---
Hmmm... another question we need to address with the libs.. Hitler's flags are synonymous with hatred, but why isn't the Japanese flag?
---
Just wondering... How can a court system authorize/support the flying of other countries' flags in America, yet not allow the flag of Southern history be displayed ?
---
Why are liberals taking the act of a bigot/racist to campaign against the use of a Confederate flag? Do you see these liberals campaigning for the removal of the American flag because it has been misused and abused by the DOJ's and White House offices?

Online story: "Drivers licenses and other documents may no longer be issued to dead people under a proposed law that that would require the state Motor Vehicle Commission to check Social Security records.
* The bill sponsored by Assemblyman Wayne DeAngelo, D-Middlesex, goes to the full assembly after it was released by the Transportation Committee on Thursday. The bill was introduced after a state audit in March found the MVC issued documents to 300 people who Social Security records listed as deceased. " -- Say what you may, and, on the surface, you may "snicker" at the irony, but.. BUT.. this will go a long way toward cleaning up voting registries as well.

There's a letter in the L-E that brings to light some good info on what would happen if the tax freeze were lifted, but not all this info appears to have been fully processed or digested. The writer ends with: "Let's address those who fear a large tax increase at the outset if the law were changed. My understanding is that those who have the freeze now will grandfather in. The application of the new law would not apply to a property until the deed to the property changes hands. Over a period of years our county would experience a steady incremental increase in tax revenues and at some point taxation on newly sold homes would lessen. To me it appears this important change can and should happen without harming anyone in the process." His facts are "as stated" but the results are not necessarily factual. People will be harmed.. especially seniors.. an unrestrained tax will make buyers of seniors' home not as willing to pay fair market value.. the thought of ever escalating taxes will make buyers more concerned over the purchase price, thus seniors selling to downsize will not get what their homes would be worth if the buyer knows his/her taxes will be frozen. It also hurts the seniors who buy a downsized home.. more than likely, a nice smaller will still be pricey, but now they will face ever escalating taxes in the future, and if they are own fixed income, increased tax bites will eat away at their security. No,, this is not a victimless solution for Mayor TomLYINGson. There's a letter following the one I'm talking about that is really more realistic as what would/could happen.. Keep the freeze.
---
You know.. if Mayor TomLYINGson and Council could... no, would, balance our budget according to expected revenues rather than raiding the Fund Balance to add non-revenue producing "frills", maybe we would listen to her arguments to take away the tax freeze.. unfortunately, that is beyond her skill AND vision levels.

Now we're getting TV medicine ads aimed at out pets.. Bravecto...a once-every-12 weeks dose for fleas for dogs...side effects include diarrhea... I believe I would prefer to treat my dog once a month than have him be diarrhea cursed inside my home.

Online story: "Fox News host Tucker Carlson argued over the weekend that President Barack Obama should have to give up his armed Secret Service security detail if he was going to be pushing for gun control." -- Right on.. and the "piece dividend" would be that more border security would have to be in order to keep illegal guns and aliens carrying them out of our country. In addition.. without the civilian militia envisioned by our forefathers, only the military would have guns, and not even the president is safe from a military coupe.. Ask the previous Egyption Muslim president of Egypt.

Online story: "Ali Michael, an adjunct professor and director of P-12 consulting and professional development at UPenn, says she sometimes doesn't want to be white. * Michael described her own “Rachel Dolezal Phase,” Michael stated that the more she learned about the history of racism the more she hated herself, her ancestors, and her descendants." -- Wow.. I hope parents who are shelling out 'big bucks' for their children to attend an Ivy League school see this and pull their children out. Who wants a school to hire professors to enlighten their children who doesn't have a clue as to who or what she is?

Special moment: Fathers' Day always mixes past memories into present day life. I remember my first day of Little League tryouts..It was exciting.. it was scary as well as Dad signed me up at the fields behind Wells Dairy at the corner of Buena Vista & Brown Avenue. The first part of tryouts consisted of being given a cup, and go out into the infield dirt and pick up a cupful of stones/pebbles to get a few "bad bounces" off the field. That done, us first time signups (I was 8) were sent to various parts of the outfield to shag flies and grounders so coaches could get an idea of the skills we brought with us. I trudged out carrying my Dad's glove he used when I was using my older brothers glove playing catch in our front yard. It seemed like there were a hundred other kids out there, but maybe that was because I was probably more interested in following the flight of a butterfly than fly balls. Suddenly, I saw Dad approaching..He was smiling, and asked me if he could have his glove back. I reluctantly handed it over, and as I did, his other hand came out from behind his back with a brand new Wilson Ball Hawk . It was beautiful! He had even oiled it up, and tied a string around it to hold a baseball inside to help form the 'pocket'. I slipped it own and became the right handed Ted Williams wandering left field at Fenway. I loved baseball...

Those "walk in tubs" being advertised for "as low as $150.00 a month..but then put in small print " for $120 months". Excuse me, but at $18,000+ at a minimum, it looks like this us pretty exploitive of seniors and their estates.
---
Good grief...the police in New York are broadcasting their search plans for the two escaped murderers. Are these Obamageddon appointed police spokesman?
---
Have you seen the new US Post Office ads talking about how efficient it is? I Guess the USPS figures that if people will believe other government people like Obamageddon and Hillewinsky and every campaigning Democrat lie, then why not do the same?
---
Hmmm... Fox News is more upset at Obamageddon using "the N-word" than it ever has been on Obamageddon or Biden using the "F-word" .
---
NBC has shipped Brian Williams to MSNBC to give MSNBC more credibility. HUH? What gives..is NBC trying to tell us that compared to the existing MSNBC line-up, Brian Williams is not so much as big a liar?
---
L\Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Voting is more regulated than guns. Voting is also a right." -- Yeah right.. I don't believe I was fingerprinted to apply to vote.. I was for my application to get a carry permit for my gun.. but, while we're talking.. what's wrong with being required to have a photo-ID to vote of buy/carry a gun?
---
Jonathan Gruber triple-double extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "You can feed your children whatever you want to at home; make them as fat as you desire. I’m just thankful that our First Lady is trying to do something to help them get at least one healthy meal a day." -- Good grief.. would children be better off and less obese if Michelle concentrated on healthier foods for the 2 meals children eat at home bought with food stamps?
---
"Get's it" L-E "soundoff": " I’m sure the family and friends of Steve Toms can understand what the families of the Charleston church victims are going through." -- Unfortunately, "mainscream media" doesn't "get" this.
---
From the L-E's "Today in history" feature: "On this date: In 1314, during the First War of Scottish Independence, the two-day Battle of Bannockburn, resulting in victory for the forces of Robert the Bruce over the army of King Edward II, began near Stirling." -- Hmm.. wonder if liberal "Hysterians" and Hollywood riters will rewrite this as "Robert the Caitlyn"?
---
L-E "headlie"/story: "Man suspect in theft of $30,000 car * Officials suspect that Bellamy stole a 2012 Nissan Altima valued at $30,000 from a man" -- Good grief.. locally, 2012 Nissan Altimas are available in the $15/$16,000.00 range..
---
L-E story: "ATLANTA — Jury selection in the trial of a man accused of killing a police officer in Athens will continue after the state high court dismissed a series of appeals. * J(_*_)mie Hood ( hmmm.. more than appropriate) faces the death penalty in the 2011 slaying of Officer Elmer “Buddy” Christian III." -- Hey, Al Sharlatan... can we count on you to be in the court room wearing a "Police Lives Matter" t-shirt?
