Online headline/story: "New lead heats up the search for escaped prisoners
* Second officer possibly involved * Officials said a corrections officer also
has been placed on administrative leave as part of the investigation into the
men's escape." -- Good grief...of course there was at least one other
"corrections officer" involved.. somebody had to be "allowing" the two murderers
access to the power tools and look the other way when they went in and out of
their cells with them! My question now is: Why is the "correctional officer" on
"administrative leave" and not locked up as a 'person of interest"?
---
Online headline/story: "Suspect kills police officer en route to jail * A
handcuffed prisoner in a moving police cruiser grabbed a gun and fatally shot
the officer at the wheel after his arrest in New Orleans. * It was unclear how
the suspect got the gun, how he worked his handcuffed wrists from behind his
back or why he was able to get through a barrier that separated him from the
front seat." -- Hmmm.. an unarmed black street thug shot and killed a police
officer... hey Al Sharlatan.. where's the protest rally for the life.. and
family of Officer Daryle Holloway? Didn't his life matter?
---
Online headline: "Trade dispute reveals Democrats disfunction" -- Good
grief... it's taken something like this to get "mainscream" media's attention to
the dysfunction of the Democratic Party? After overlooking the lies of both
Clinton's and Obamageddon over the last two decades, the collapse of the
housing/mortgage industries, OObamaCRAP, plus ignoring the failure of $22
TRILLION spent on "The War on Poverty", "mainscream media" is now onto the
dysfunction of the Democrats.. ARRGGGHHHH!!!!!
---
Dual HuffPOOPOO headlines: "Philadelphia Block Party Shooting Wounds
Children And Others" & "Shooting At Detroit Basketball Court During Block
Party" -- Hmmm... guess since Chicago didn't shoot up the NHL championship
parade, Detroit and Philadelphia figured it was open season...
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: ""The Middle East Peace Process?" High Time for a New
Name" -- Good grief...that's about as stupid as deciding which end of a "turd"
is the clean one to pick it up by.. what we need is a NEW PRESIDENT!
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "SNP's (Scottish National Party -
Democratic/Socialist) Record in Government Means They Can't Be Trusted With Full
Fiscal Autonomy" -- Good grief.. how can the HuffPOOPOO recognize that in
Scotland but not Washington?

Why is Hillewinsky not in jail, and hasn't been disqualified from running
for the Democratic Party nomination for president?

From another BCer: Quote of the year whether TIME follows through or not:
""I know it's only the midway point, but I'd have to guess Rachel Dolezal is now
the clear front runner for Time's Person of The Year." ~ Dennis Miller

Chambers Bay moment:
1 - When I hit a shot to a green, and it lands within 15-20 feet of the
pin, I feel pretty good..It's a good shot with a proper reward..When pro does
the same, he..or she..may not feel as jubilant as I would, but it's still a
birdie opportunity ...unless playing Chambers Bay.. It's ridiculous for a short
iron shot hit to within 5 or 6 paces from a pin and end up in a hazard with a
20-30 yard sand shot. I hope the touring pros boycott another US Open scheduled
for Chambers Bay.
2 - After bringing us a circus atmosphere at the US Open, what's the USGA
got in store next year...qualifying with USGA handicaps?
3 - The US Open spiel is that this Open is ' nothing like you've ever seen
before' ..I'd like to add, " and hope we never see again".
---
Let's look at Trump:
1 - We know mainscream media will focus on Trump's image, but shouldn't the
focus be on his message?
2 - You know, I'd much rather vote for a person who had gotten wealthy by
the fruits of his labor in the private sector rather than by one who has gotten
rich by voting for other people's personal interests.

L-E story: "On the Alabama bank of the Chattahoochee River, just across
from the TSYS campus, a 14-foot sculpture of a Trojan warrior, spear in hand,
was erected last week." -- Hmmm sort of a "bookend to the Columbus RiverCenter's
"Viagra Falls" on this side of the river.
---
I have a great idea.. learn the address of your Councilperson and Mayor
TomLYINGson, and when the once-a-week garbage pickups begin.. take your garbage
to the curb in front of their houses the day after they get their garbage picked
up.. let them experience garbage sitting around for a week.
---
A "get's it" L-E "soundoff": " I understand that the NAACP is having a
complete review of all personnel records to make sure that there are no more
white moles infiltrating the organization." -- You know.. when will the NAACP
honor Dr. King's wish that all men/women are judged by their character than
their color? Whoa.. don't go trying to say "she" was run off because of her
"lack of character" as the NAACP supports the Clintons and Obamageddon without
concern over their lack of honesty.
---
Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "I don’t think the authors of
the Second Amendment would approve of the shooter in Charleston having a gun.
This disturbed person can’t be part of a well-regulated militia." -- I love it
when a lib makes a point FOR the Second Amendment. Indeed the founding fathers
did not condone sickos owning guns.. they guaranteed the rights of private
citizens to aid and abet citizens of our country, and if the founding fathers
had captured the (_*_), he'd already be tried and hung.
---
Jonathan Gruber triple-double extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Okay, so
Hillary is a liar. What politician isn’t? She steals better than most
politicians. Do you think she cheats more than most? She’s just better at
politics than most." -- Good grief..In his February 9th blog, "Dick's World",
Dick McMichael. former WTVM9 newscaster, Democrat and uber-lib, wrote: " I am
against the new SPLOST proposed by the Muscogee County School District School
Board; however, I plan to vote for it next month." You know.. how can
libs/Democrats/mainscream media expect to get positive changes that matter when
they vote for liars and wastrels who aren't going to keep their promises of
positive changes? Unfortunately, Democrats know this and "blow smoke in their
ears (and elsewhere)" because they know they will follow them anywhere...
---
"Get's it" L-E "soundoff": "Signs reading “Caution! Driver error has caused
this intersection and its approach to be one of the most dangerous in Alabama”
should be erected at J.R. Allen & U.S. 280, and at U.S. 431 & Ala. 165."
-- You know if you ran a contest to pick the best and worst access ramps on the
J.R. Allen Parkway, every one could be the winner in either category.

L-E headline/story: "TROY CAMPUS SPARKS GROWTH FOR PHENIX CITY RIVERFRONT *
“The chancellor announces in January 2012 that Troy is going to build the
building here,” White said. “We do a ground breaking in April 2012. Within six
weeks, the RAM Hotels group announces its plans to build a hotel here. Within
about eight weeks after that, W.C. Bradley announces that it has purchased the
shopping center. Six to eight months after that, W.C. Bradley bought this last
small piece between the 13th and 14th street bridges.” -- "W.C. Bradley bought
this last small piece between the 13th and 14th street bridges"... hmmm... and
shortly before that, our Mayor/Council bought a similarr small piece of land at
the nearly the Columbus side of the 14th Street Bridge (rather than let the
state acquire it by eminent domain) which means taxpayers probably paid for the
Phenix City property and now Phenix City get's property taxes and Columbus
doesn't.

Hmmm... Here's a quick $721,958.00 straight out of out Public Safety LOST
revenues that have little or no confirmation from most of the recipients that
any value is received.. especially grievous is The Junior Marshal's Program
because of it's connections with Congressman Bishop by nepotism. Grante, there
are a couple of the concepts I agree with and support, but there's just not
enough info as to the effectiveness of most of these "grants" taken from
taxpayers' wallets.

From City Manager's Agenda as published (for a stiff fee) in the Columbus
L-E:
"FISCAL 2016 GEORGIA DOT — TRANSPORTATION PLANNING CONTRACT: Authorization
is requested to execute a contract with the Georgia Department of Transportation
for Financial Assistance to carry out the fiscal 2016 Transportation Planning
Work Activities of the Columbus-Phenix City Transportation Study (C-PCTS). The
Federal Funds will cover 80 percent of the cost for transportation planning
program and the city is required to provide the 20 percent local match." -- We
are getting screwed twice.. for every dollar we pay inn T-SPLOST taxes, we only
get 85-cents returned to us (after administrative costs), and then we're having
to pay 1/5th of the project in addition...
From the City's "Purchases" as published (yeah for a stiff fee) by the
Columbus L-E:
" CAMERAS — It is requested that council authorize the purchase of 250
point-and-shoot cameras (Canon PowerShot ELPH 160) from 17th Street Photo Supply
Inc. (New York, NY), at a unit price of $101.40, for a total price of $25,350.
The cameras will be used by officers of the Columbus Police Department." --
First off, the same camera can be bought from Best Buy and Walmart here in
Columbus for $99.00 per, and that's not even including any "bulk package
purchase deal". Secondly, why don't the officers just use their
cellphones?

Info wanted..needed: Hey... does anyone know who is paying for the Columbus Water Works to run water and sewage pipes to I-185. GA 315 Exit in Harris County.. I was living near there until 2003 and remember that it was going to be paid for by the WC Bradley Company to connect to a project planned near there, but so far I haven't seen anymore on that project nor who is paying for the pipe system.

L-E commentary headline: "Teaching a child to hate * Nurturing the right
hatreds in your children takes determination, concentration and, most important,
dedicated role-modeling * By KAREN SPEARS ZACHARIAS * If you want to teach a
child to hate you have to be a hater first. You cannot teach a child to hate if
you go around loving on everybody. It is best that you model hatred from a very
early age. Children are sponges. They will soak up your attitudes long before
they are able to mimic your words. So, first and foremost, you must be a hater
yourself if you are to have any hope of raising a child to hate." -- Wow.. how
timely on Father's Day.. will someone please make sure President Obama and his
wife Michelle, Al Sharlatan, Pric Holder, mainscream media, and the citizens of
Ferguson and Baltimore get this immediately? Our police departments need
respect!
