The injury to the Southern University Jaguar player in the game with UGA just conforms my objection to major colleges paying obviously "out-manned" lower division schools a stipend to fill a wasted weekend for Roman Coliseum type entertainment. Smaller schools do have talented players, just not the depth so that adequate substitutions can be made during the game to keep starters from getting needed rest.. a tired player is much more likely to get injured. Keep praying for the young man,, and also for the NCAA to look into banning such planned mismatches.

" -- Good grief.. how can a panel get so many things right but drop the ball on other things in one case?

You know.. there's one aspect about registering all guns that might get me to listen to the arguments again.. say, if a law was passed that committing a crime while in possession of a gun that's found to be registered to someone else, then the user of the stolen gun get an automatic, non-appealable death sentence to be carried out within 30 days.

Between the fake blades of grass, the turf's infill contains a mix of sand and crumb rubber, composed of shredded tires, to make the surface stable, uniform and resilient. * Crumb rubber is flammable." -- Good grief.. it's bad enough that the MCSD paid $667,000.00 (when across the river, Phenix City did put in synthetic turf for "only" $500K), but now it's revealed that the field is a potential fire trap, and you know it will be the target of some future "prank" since it's frailty is now "public knowledge".

From my State Senator (and BC member): Tuition and mandatory fees are 92.7 percent higher for freshmen at UGA in Fall 2015 than for freshmen in Fall 2008. At Georgia Tech freshmen will pay 102 percent more in Fall 2015 than in Fall 2008. On average across the system, tuition and mandatory fees increased an average of 74.6 percent from Fall 2008 to Fall 2015. Do you think the legislature should have the final say on approving increases to college tuition at state colleges and universities? --  And it's even worse than this when you consider that the Lottery supported HOPE Scholarships have been tiered in a way that most students get even less to offset the soaring tuition and mandatory fee costs. On the other hand, have jobs and salaries been cut at the Lottery or the University levels in attempts to hold down the rampant costs?
