Online headline: "Russia's latest move in Syria adds to US concerns * U.S.
officials said on Monday Moscow has allegedly positioned about half a dozen
tanks at a military airfield as its intentions in Syria remain unclear" -- "adds
to US concerns"? Good grief.. what about the concerns of countries that think we
are still their allies?
---
Online headline: "Tension mounts over contested South China Sea * A U.S. expert said on Monday China is allegedly building a third airstrip in the disputed territory -- ahead of its meeting in Washington next week." -- I'll bet that China isn't on an "apology tour"...Is there any country that respects Obamageddon?

Online headline: "N. Korea threatens to attack US with nuclear weapons" -- Is there any 97 lb weakling who won't kick sand in the face of Obamageddon.

Online headline: "Germany reimposes border controls to slow migrant arrivals" -- The Berlin Wall went down because it was fencing its people in... the new "wall" will be to fence illegals "out". Let's start a "Draft Angela Merkel for President in 2016".. I'm sure we can photoshop her parents bringing her out of a maternity hospital in Hawaii with an Hawaii birth certificate dated after Hawaii got statehood.

One item circulating the Internet is a picture of two people discussing about Bruce Jenner becoming a woman.. it ends with the question, 'When will Obama become a man?".. Alas, I doubt it will happen in our "strife" time.

The Kingston Trio encapsulated the state of the Earth in 1958 with a short political ditty named "The Merry Minuet" (written by Sheldon Harnick).. not much has changed:
They're rioting in Africa
They're starving in Spain
There's hurricanes in Florida and Texas needs rain
The whole world is festering with unhappy souls
The French hate the Germans
The Germans hate the Poles
Italians hate Yugoslavs
South Africans hate the Dutch
And I don't like anybody very much
But we can be tranquil and thankful
And proud for man's been endowed
With a mushroom shaped cloud
And we know for certain that
Some lovely day someone will set the spark off
And we will all be blown away
They're rioting in Africa
There's strife in Iran
What nature doesn't do to us will be done by our fellow man.
With the recent "deal" brokered by Obamageddon and Kerry, the last line may have to be rewritten for accuracy : "What nature doesn't do to us will be done by Iran."

Liberals wrongly exchange the words tolerance and acceptance. It's one
thing to demonstrate tolerance for issues as long as those with issues tolerate
the other side's rights; having tolerance does not mean it's
acceptable.
---
Soapbox moment: Kim Davis has brought attention to a bigger issue than same-sex marriages. She is uncovering the misuse of the liberals' favorite word/concept... "tolerance". Being tolerant is not the same as being acceptable. Even the US Supreme Court has become confused over issues that push the limit on a difference of opinion/belief. In a world where we must pick our battles, tolerance of certain quirks/circumstance is necessary in order for anyone to get more important things done/accomplished, but when someone demands acceptance of some quirk/circumstance, things change... it must be addressed. I can tolerate most anything my "neighbors" do as long as it doesn't force its way into my life against my will. Given opportunity, I will allow friends and neighbors to live their own lives as they see fit, but if it is demanded of me to accept something aberrant to my beliefs, be prepared for a battle. Tolerance is not a one way concept..

Online headline/story: "Here Are the States Where People Are Most Excited to Go to Work in the Morning
Gallup study reveals states with highest and lowest employee engagement * When employees are engaged - meaning, they're committed to their employer's goals and values, motivated to contribute to its success, and dedicated to enhancing their own sense of well-being - they tend to be more productive and innovative, have greater job satisfaction and fewer accidents, and call in sick less often, among many other things, according to EngageForSuccess.org. * A new Gallup study finds that workers in Montana had the highest levels of employee engagement (39%) in 2013 and 2014. Following close behind were Mississippi (37%) and Louisiana (36%). * Meanwhile, just 22% of professionals in Washington, D.C. were engaged during that period, making the nation's capital the place with the least engaged workers." -- You know, for the most part, a survey like this was devised by someone with nothing productive to do at that moment, but one tidbit really explains taxpaying voters' frustration with government.. The lowest area of "engagement" is Washington, DC..We've pretty much always thought that "Washington" doesn't listen to us, and this pretty much confirms our thoughts. It explains why it seems that the longer a politician serves (Hey, Porkchop HILLary, this IS about you) in Washington, the more out of touch they become.. It's also what could be the cornerstone to bring about "term limits".

Trump trumps NBC.. hmmm seems in it's haste to separate itself from "Trumpness", NBC gladly sold its shares of "Miss Universe" in a quick sale to Trump.. Quick sales generally mean at some bargain price point for the buyer. Trump has now sold the 100% Miss Universe package to an eager buyer, which basically means Trump got a deal he couldn't refuse.

Trump is right again.. at a rally in Texas that drew about 15-20,000 people, Trump said, " Karl Rove, he's terrible. He's still going around thinking Mitt Romney won," * I think [Rove] is a total incompetent jerk." -- How can you be against some one who doesn't show political favoritism? I've long been after Fox News to separate itself from Rove on the Republican side, Alan Colmes on the liberal side, and Juan Williams on which ever side of the fence he sits on.

Online headline: "The world's first human head transplant coming" -- Hmmm.. maybe there is hope for the future of Democrats.

From the "how stupid can the IRS be" department: "Starting next year, the
IRS will no longer accept checks of more than $99,999,999.00. * Those taxpayers
(or businesses) that owe in excess of that amount will have to break the payment
up into two or more checks or transfer the money electronically via Fed Wire to
cover the debt. Any checks exceeding the limit will be returned * Over the last
tax season, the IRS deposited 14 checks that exceeded $99,999,999. * The
government does not have processing equipment that can handle checks of more
than $100,000,000.00. So any checks that include seven figures or more must be
manually processed. * " -- Good grief..you're kidding me...why would anyone send
a check back for $100,000,000.00 dollars? So you hire a "temp" to manually
process the check, but you do not send back one by putting it in the hands of
the USPS and not know whether anyone wi'll ever see it again.

HuffPOOPOO headline: "Putting More Technology In Schools May Not Make Kids
Smarter: OECD Report" -- Good grief.. you know.. this is the problem liberals
bring to education.. they feel technology is smarter than people.. people invent
technology so people are superior to technology because technology cannot do
anything unless a smart person initiates an action for the technology to
perform. The problem is that the students already know more about electronic
technology that the teachers/administrators.

to look for..First will be for Sightings of Mayor, Council. and City

secondly for sighting regular cleanings during the week, and thirdly, emergency
cleanings preceding functions where a Councilor, the Mayor, or other City
officials has to make a visit for a scheduled function.

L-E story: "Two urban designers from the international Gehl Studios are in
town to unveil a draft proposal for Midtown Inc.’s “Minimum Grid” project to
better connect the Midtown and Uptown communities. * “What we have here are
draft recommendations for how we might improve walking and biking, just general
connectivity between Midtown and Uptown, which is being called the ‘core
community,’”" -- Good grief.. if there is any "connecting" to be done to create
unity and improvements, it seems that Midtown should be "connecting" with its
South Columbus neighbors first, not the business district. BTW, who maintains
the tall chain-link fence between the Mayor's neighborhood and the neighborhoods
off Martin Luther King Blvd?

Apple and Microsoft off-shored their home offices to avoid $90 billion in taxes
each year they owe the United States. Democrats are outraged. Republicans don’t
want to talk about it." -- Good grief.. Congress wrote the laws, and every
business has an obligation to follow those laws, and utilize those laws for the
best interest of its owners/shareholders. If Congress wrote tax laws that gave
these benefits for companies to want to keep there money and jobs here,
companies would do so.. The ball is in Congresses' and the White House's
court.
