Online headline/story: "Clinton says family paid State Dept employee for email work *  "We obviously paid for those services and did so because during a period of time we continued to need his technical assistance," the Democratic front-runner told reporters after a campaign event. * that employee, Bryan Pagliano, told a House committee that he would invoke his constitutional right against self-incrimination if called to testify." -- Hmmm.. where to begin -  1 - "obviously we paid for those services"?  Why would Porkchop HILLary pay a state department employee separately... additionally.. for work?  Obviously Porkchop HILLary and Pagliano knew what they were doing was not authorized procedure. 2 - "he would invoke his constitutional right against self-incrimination "? Obviously Pagliano knew what he was being paid to do was illegal... since he "obviously" knew this and is concerned with his own legal problems, what the House and/or Senate investigative committees should do is grant him immunity from prosecution of his crimes so he has no 5th Amendment concerns and would have to testify or go to jail for obstruction of justice if he didn't testify.

Online headline: "Clinton says she didn't 'stop and think' about email setup" -- "she didn't 'stop and think' "? You know.. this is probably the only thing close to a truth Porkchop HILLary has uttered since she graduated from law school...and that's because she said she "didn't stop and think".. Of course she didn't "think".. libs DON"T THINK.. they "feel".. well the "feel" everything except remorse for their lies, and 'feel" mainscream media will give them a pass..

From the "if you can't gain traction smearing "the man", then go after his friends as guilty by association" department - Online headline: "Tom Brady exposed as closet Donald Trump supporter" -- Good grief.. a "journalist" "tweeted" a picture of a "Make America Great Again" red hat in Tom Brady's Patriot's locker cubicle (closet?), then implies Brady hasn't "come out of the closet". I hope the Patriot's simply ban the (_*_) from the Patriot's locker room.

---
Online headline: "Clinton heats up attack on Trump over key issue" -- Well.. I guess we can feel pretty much self-assured Porkchop HILLary wasn't making a "key issue" about "honesty"...

Online story: "SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Last month, the Ohio Supreme Court's Board of Professional Conduct said judges can't refuse to marry same-sex couples on personal, moral or religious grounds. * Judges who stop performing all marriages to avoid marrying same-sex couples may be interpreted as biased and could be disqualified from any case where sexual orientation is an issue, the Ohio board ruled. * Marion County Judge Vance Day is being investigated by a judicial fitness commission in part over his refusal to perform same-sex marriages on religious grounds, a spokesman for the judge said. * When a federal court ruling in May 2014 made same-sex marriage legal in Oregon, Day instructed his staff to refer same-sex couples looking to marry to other judges, spokesman Patrick Korten said Friday." -- Good grief.. how can one judge.. even a panel of judges.. strip another judge's right to live under protection of the 1st Amendment of our Constitution?  The judge in question did not deny a same-sex couple the ability to get married, he simply ,and faithful to his religious beliefs, referred them to other judges who didn't object to their religious rights being trampled.

Online headline: "Caitlyn Jenner, Matt Lauer hit the golf course in candid new interview" -- See.. I told you.. "she-it" just wants to play from the red tees in celebrity events! Sorta reminds me of that Dr. Richard Raskind, a better-than-mediocre male tennis player, who underwent reassignment surgery in hopes to dominate women's tennis as "Renee Richards"..

---
Online headline: "Is there a typo in the Declaration of Independence? * A scholar said the iconic document that is studied and memorized by school children all over the U.S. is being read incorrectly." -- Good grief.. Under Common Crap curriculum, who knows if students can read..much less read longhand cursive?

I know it was the first weekend of football, but there was golf, too. An announcer mentioned Russell Henley was getting married in October to talented  Charleston artist, Teil Duncan. He even mentioned her website
.. www.Teilduncan.com..I agree..she is talented..in fact, very talented..also. we have one of her works in our living room. Of course, she is family..one of our nieces.

The orange shoes and hideous socks put Auburn in first place for the 1st weekend's ugliest uniforms.

---
You know, UGA and Ole Miss would have been better off canceling their opening games..why exposé your players to a career ending injury from a frustrated player of a team who's feeling embarrassed by a cocky superior team?

---
Random question: Once again , why would the Republican National Committee want to have a presidential debate on CNN? Nobody who watches CNN regularly would even entertain a thought of voting for any Republican.

---
I really feel sorry for the immigrants and European countries faced with dealing with the refugee situations. If Obamageddon had handled our illegal alien surge at our border properly, the other counties would have a better example on handling such in their countries.

L-E headline/story: "FINDINGS REVEALED * Federal audit: St. Francis Hospital must repay $21.4 million and improve oversight; report says it violated HUD regulations" -- Good grief.. this alone justifies a forensic audit of the City and the MCSD.. both have major financial interaction with HUD..

---
L-E story: "Council to vote on how to repay legal fees * More than four months after a Superior Court judge ruled the city of Columbus must pay the legal fees of Muscogee County Sheriff John Darr and Clerk of Superior Court Linda Pierce, Columbus Council will consider four ordinances on Tuesday to pay almost $400,000 in legal fees the elected officials have incurred in a legal battle over their budgets." -- Wait a minute..how come Council gets to decide this? I say it should go on the ballot, and I suggest that the ballot issue read, "Should Council members' and the Mayor's salaries be garnisheed until the legal debts be repaid?" I vote "YES"!

---
L-E editorial crap: " There are no negatives in the improved SAT scores for Muscogee County schools, as well as across the state of Georgia. The news that both Georgia and Muscogee high schools edged closer to the national average is especially encouraging given that much of the narrowing gap is attributable to improvement at the local and state levels, and not just to a sag in national averages. (It is also statistically significant that such a high percentage of Georgia students take the SAT relative to other states.) * As recently reported, seven of nine Muscogee County School District high schools saw increases in composite SAT scores, and the two schools whose scores dropped saw only single-digit decreases. The surge in some of the schools was pretty dramatic, especially a 69-point increase at Spencer, 60 at Jordan and 59 at Early College." -- "seven of nine Muscogee County School District high schools saw increases in composite SAT scores"? Good grief.. the unvarnished truth is that 8 of the 9 local high schools are bringing the state average further down! While one drop of rain following years of drought may offer a glimmer of hope, the truth is that the one drop of rain means nothing has changed.

When UGA offered to stop yesterday's game with 1+/- minutes left after a lightning delay, there really wasn't so much mercy involved as you'd think. Reality is that the game was about to be shut down on TV as another was about to start, and UGA would get no more revenue for playing the game in it's entirety. Sadly, some reserves for UGA lost an opportunity to play more and get experience.

From the "most biased political cartoonist" department - From L-E editorial page:

This guy has never, and I don't use the word loosely, penned a conservative cartoon in his career. This is BS if he ever agreed with Trump on anything conservative. Now if he thought Trump was "OK" because he invited Porkchop HILLary to his wedding..
