Online "story": "Houston, TX Sheriff's Deputy Darren Goforth, 47, was in uniform when he was killed while putting fuel in his patrol car. A 30-year-old Houston man is charged with capital murder. Investigators are still trying to determine a motive." -- "trying to determine a motive"?  What BS.. if anything, investigators are trying to find a politically correct way not to say this was a racist hate crime. If the investigators are afraid to say that, they should ask Donald Trump to be their spokesman.

HuffPOOPOO "headlie": "Democrat deals major blow to Obama's Iran deal" -- Wrong! Senator Cardin just wants to be re-electable...

Wow.. I just viewed a list of "20 Amazing Small Towns in America", and have actually been in 4 of them, and actually think they belong in such a list...Beaufort, NC, Lewisburg, WV, St. Simons Island, GA and  Sitka, Alaska. Was especially glad to see Lewisburg, WV on the list.. it is one of my ancestral anchors.. Many of my family lived there beginning in the 1700's. Have living and buried family, My ggg-grandfather preached at the Old Stone Presbyterian Church there for 61 years (1809-1870), and founded Greenbrier Women's Academy/Greenbrier Military Academy. It still operates under the community college system in WV, and we fund the McElhenney-Fry-Kirven scholarships.

Online headline: "Chinese warships reportedly pass through US waters" -- Hey, Obamageddon.. China has drawn YOU a truly "RED" line"..

WRBL 3 story: "Authorities say they’ve reached a settlement with a west Georgia hospital system to resolve allegations of false claims submitted to state and federal health care programs. * The Georgia attorney general’s office and the U.S. attorney’s office for the Middle District of Georgia announced Friday that Columbus Regional Hospital System has agreed to pay $25 million plus additional payments up to $10 million. They say Dr. Andrew Pippas agreed to pay $425,000. * Georgia will receive $789,960 for Medicaid losses, and the federal government will get $24,666,040." -- Good grief.. we're getting screwed.. twice.. once when CRHS over billed and now, when CRHS will raise its charges to pay for paying having its hand in the tax drawer.

From the "only read this if you feel that OObamaCRAP is working" department:

As a brief reminder for those who forgot or for many that didn't know :

Here is what happened, quietly, on January 1, 2015:

Medicare tax went from 1.45% to 2.35%

Top Income tax bracket went from 35% to 39.6%

Top Income payroll tax went from 37.4% to 52.2%
Capital Gains tax went from 15% to 28%

Dividend tax went from 15% to 39.6%

Estate tax went from 0% to 55%
A 3.5% Real Estate transaction tax was added.
.
Remember this fact:
These taxes were all passed solely with Democrat votes, Not a single Republican voted for these new taxes.

These taxes were all passed in the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare.

If you think that it is important that everyone in the U.S. should know this, the many millions who don't yet, then pass it on

Your vote may get OObamaCRAP repealed..

You know, when Senator Isakson was here, why wasn't Congressman Bishop with him in bi-partisan support for Ft Benning?

Online story: "At the Starbucks annual shareholders meeting on Wednesday, CEO Howard Schultz sent a clear message to anyone who supports traditional marriage over gay marriage: we don’t want your business.
 * After saying Starbucks wants to “embrace diversity of all kinds,” he told a shareholder who supports traditional marriage that he should sell his shares and invest in some other company. * According to a report by Forbes, Schultz seemed a bit intolerant of any Starbucks shareholders who opposed gay marriage for moral or religious reasons. * The CEO of Starbucks wants everyone to be tolerant of his beliefs but he refuses to be tolerant of others’ beliefs, including the people who have invested their hard-earned money into his company." -- Well, guess I'll stop buying "Starbucks Gift Cards" for my 3 daughters' Christmas stockings.. I believe God will be pleased. On the other hand, if you MUST have a caffeine overdose on occasion, wear a "Free Kim Davis" t-shirt when to go there.

You know, I wish the inquiries into Porkchop HILLary would end..Congress cannot get anything done as the Senate Democrats will not vote against her (note Iran deal vote), and the DOJ will not act against her. All that is being accomplished is her name is being promoted in a way that overrides her other campaign problems so her opponents cannot get coverage of their own. Besides, even her being convicted of the crimes she should be charged with is not going to change mainscream media's  mind.

Online headline: "Cobb County requests $101 million in state funding for transportation projects—including cash for the Braves bridge" -- Hmmm.. let's compromise.. how about $50,000,000.00 but only if they make it a one-way bridge into the parking lot..

Jonathan Gruber double-extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " How is Kentucky County Clerk Kim Davis’ view different from Sharia law? Careful what you wish for." -- Hmmm.. can any one not see the parallel path of Kim Davis and Rosa Parks? believing you have equal rights under our Constitution?

---
Jonathan Gruber triple-double extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Apparently this will come as a shock to a few — the school board is no longer dysfunctional. They’ve moved on. Too bad you are living in the past." -- First, the L-E needs to evoke its "spam filter" for MCSD/MCSB e-mail addresses.. secondly, it's taken Thomas and Myers to bring up to the other 7 members of the school board (and the Columbus L-E) that accepting that 20% of your schools being failures is "OK".. it doesn't get anymore dysfunctional than that.

---
L-E story: " Momentum is growing to lift the 40-year ban on exporting U.S. oil to foreign nations, with a federal report concluding that doing so wouldn’t raise gasoline prices. Congress could vote on proposals when it returns from its summer vacation next week." -- Good grief.. why don't we "lift the ban on drilling for oil", and make buying imported oil a crime unless it's lower than American oil. That would keep the prices as low as possible here.

---
L-E story: " Toyota is investing $50 million with Stanford University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in hopes of gaining an edge in an accelerating race to phase out human drivers." -- "phase out human drivers"? Wow.. think of the ripple effect of phasing out human drivers... it would collapse the body repair shop industry, and "Flo" and the "Gecko" would be jobless as no car insurance would be necessary.
