Online headline/story: "Billboard calls out Kim Davis ahead of expected return to work Monday * A new billboard that popped up along a busy Rowan County road has again drawn attention to the eastern Kentucky county ahead of embattled county clerk Kim Davis' expected return to work on Monday.
"Dear Kim Davis," the billboard reads, "the fact that you can't sell your daughter for three goats and a cow means we've already redefined marriage."" -- Kim Davis must have scared the bejeezus out of the liberals.

The "Planting Peace" website follows up with this: "As has been painstakingly observed time and time again, the anti-LGBTQ movement is comprised of a substantial number of zealots who unfailingly refer to their rigid interpretation of religious text to narrowly define “traditional” institutions and values. They pick and choose what they wish to convey as immoral and unacceptable, while seemingly sweeping lines of scripture just a few letters away completely under the rug. In response, Planting Peace has constructed a message for Kim Davis and the anti-LGBTQ movement. The intent of the billboard is to expose this narrow interpretation by Davis and others that they use to defend their discrimination against the LGBTQ community. Our message to our LGBTQ youth is simple:
You are loved, valued, supported, and beautiful.
There is nothing wrong with you, and we will stand by you.
You are not alone."

Hmmm... "They (a substantial number of zealots according to this mantra) pick and choose what they wish to convey as immoral and unacceptable," Well, this is what Christians are dealing with.. trying to keep the word of God whom the LGBTQ wants to unseat as the Creator and moral compass.. Christians are not the creators of marriage... merely the carriers of God's word. What's going on now is the LGBTQ movement wants to destroy Kim Davis. By destroying Kim Davis, the LGBTQ hopes to discourage other Christians from standing up for God.

You know.. liberals support abortions under the "Pro-Choice" mantra...yet object when Christians define marriage as the pursuit of proliferation which same-sex couples cannot participate expectantly.

---
Random thoughts... first, why are not Syrian and other Islamic refugees flooding into Saudi Arabia?; and two, would the Islamic world be welcoming Christian and Jewish refugees fleeing Europe?

---
Oh.. and wasn't Poop Francis' plea quite revealing.. I guess it is sorta comfortable to direct the charity of other countries toward the Islamic refugees when you sit on a throne behind the massive walls of Vatican City.

---
Think about this.. last May, there was an oldtimey "Shootout at the Twin Peaks Corral" in Waco , TX. Nine people died, and 177 others were arrested and were held for days or weeks on $1 million bonds without sufficient evidence to support such actions. Question.. why was Al Sharaltan staging a "Bikers Lives Matters" rally?

---
When you think about it, you begin to understand why mainscream media is running it's campaign on Porkchop HILLsbury Doughgirl's slide.. Mainscream media is now concerned with her lack of honesty, and it believes it is breaking news to the world.. I'm just glad liberals are actually concerned about her lack of character as most of us have been since 1992.

Online headline: "America's city rankings set for Texas-sized shake up; Houston to edge past Chicago" -- What's so hard to believe about this.. It's probably not so centered around Houston's growyth as it is about Chicago's death rate.

---
Online headline: "Al-Qaida chief urges lone wolf attacks, militant unity" -- Hmmm.. what you don't see, what you won't see, is the (_*_) leading by example...Personally, I don't see why al-Qaida concerns itself with destruction in America,, Obamageddon is already so far ahead in doing so.

HuffPOOPOO headline: "Beauty pageants struggling to remain relevant * Miss American has struggled to attract TV viewers -- and now some are asking if the way they depict women has a place in modern society." -- Talk about a mainscream/liberal "War on Women"! Obviously, libs feel that unless smart, beautiful, talented and caring women look lesser than the "smartest woman in the world", then they have no worth in their agenda.

Online story: "violence erupted at around 4 p.m. Saturday at the Cimarron Correctional Facility in Cushing, OK,  a community between the state's two largest cities, Oklahoma City and Tulsa. * A preliminary investigation determined that the stabbings apparently happened in quick succession while the inmates at a medium-security wing of the prison were being let out of their cells into the exercise yard, said Terri Watkins, a spokeswoman for the state Department of Corrections. She said investigators were still trying to determine what caused the violence." -- Good grief.. why are the prison officials concerned with "what caused the violence"?  Obviously the prisoners were non-violent gang members according to DOJ standards for the fast-release program,  and now will no longer be recidivist candidates when they would have been released. Sorry to be so sarcastic this morning, BUT I see this as a taxpayers savings situation.. Oh, and look at the brighter side.. no unknown chemicals were used, and no police were involved, and Al Sharalatan and
"Prisoner Lives Matter" are not going to counsel other prisoners.

You know.. Mayor TomLYINGson worries her head about the image a bike friendly community would give Columbus, but as soon as bike riders take a tour of Veterans Parkway between Victory Drive and Manchester Expressway, and see the barbed-wire fenced businesses, and businesses that look like they have their own garbage dumps, the bikers will not forget what they see; and don't even get me started on the views along the proposed bike tails along MLK Blvd.

You know, a bi-annual forensic audit of all optionally provided city recreational facilities/services (golf, skating, tennis, swimming, transportaion et al) would help keeping losses to a minimum. Each audit should parse the number of actual users, the cost of utilities, care/maintenance, and user fees collected, and deduce what fees should be to justify the continued offering of such services. It would also show the poor business plan of such entities.

There's really only one way to enforce a fair property tax..tax the assessed value of the land based on fair value where it's located, and the square footage of the buildings at the same value regardless of where located.

---
Another thing need.. there should be a minimum tax and a maximum tax each property's owner should pay.
How many people realize that some affluent homeowners are pay $20K-to-$60,000.00 for city services (plus garbage fees), and there is no way for the City to demonstrate how such home owners are getting... could possibly get,, in services.

L-E story: " OK, we’ve finally gotten the restrooms built under the Frank Martin Pedestrian Bridge. There was no ribbon cutting or even a ceremonial first flush, but they’re open for business, so to speak. * A lot of people have griped about the price, $244,000, which seems like a lot for a couple of public restrooms. And it is. (Maybe we should call it the Royal Flush.) *  But a huge chunk of the cost had little to do with the actual restrooms. It was for the necessary plumbing and other infrastructure that had to be built to accommodate them. But that’s water down the bowl, so to speak. *   And yeah, there are those who say you can build a pretty darn nice house for $244,000, and they’re right. But if the Georgia Department of Transportation offered to build me a $244,000 house and then sell it to me for less than $30,000, I’d be all over that like the proverbial duck on the equally proverbial junebug." -- You know.. this "junebug" is pathetic, especially  for a newspaper "journalist".. The amount above the $30K Owen lathers over is also tax dollars coming out of our pockets.. any and all  federal and state grants originate from our wallets.

L-E headline: "Alabama adds evolution requirement for schools" -- Hmmm.. this oughta shut up the liberls who say Alabama has not evolved a whit in the last two Centuries.

---
Jonathan Gruber LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Actually, Columbus city employees have had their benefits and compensation cut. Without even considering inflation, their take-home pay decreases each year, as more is withheld for benefits each year, which are reduced each year." -- Well, welcome to the taxpayers' world.. and OObamaCRAP...of course, City/MCSD employees can work for Columbus while living in other counties/states and pay less in taxes they would pay if they lived in Columbus.

---
L-E's "Thought for Today, “What one has not experienced, one will never understand in print.” — Isadora Duncan (1877-1927)." -- Hmm.. sorta hits the nail on the head why entitlement receivers have no idea why taxpayers are up-in-arms.

---
You know.. some people's only contibution to government services is through the money they've pumped into their lottery losses.

---
L-E headline: "Germany implements temporary border checks" -- Hmmm.. well, I guess Angela Merkel  did learn something after talking with Obamageddon at Mandela's funeral.

---
L-E headline: "Signs show GOP hopefuls taking sharper aim at Trump" -- Hey, Republican candidates that mainscream media is encouraging.. don't you know that mainscream media will turn on you as soon as you're successful at running Trump off?  If you want to beat Trump, beat him at his game.. be forthwith with your words/ideas, but learn a more diplomatic way to convey such thoughts.. Trump is not your enemy.

---
L-E headline: "Soaring student loan burden poses risk to economic growth" -- "poses risk"?,, It poses DOOM when students can only get minimum wage jobs after getting their diplomas.

---
L-E headline: "Beachfront ice skating? Jekyll Island seeks offseason boost" -- God luck with that.. it certainly hasn't worked in Georgia's "West Coast City", a slogan the Chamber of Commerce hopes will be forgotten... one day.

---

From the above L-E story: " The island state park announced this month plans to build a $30,000 outdoor skating rink that uses synthetic ice — sheets of dense plastic that are slick enough for ice skating." -- Gee, why didn't our crack planners think of this instead of building a second indoor rink that requires enormous utility usage year round?
