This is a local issue, but Phenix City has eaten our Mayor TomLYINGson'd LUNCH!  She's spent millions of GA taxes and local donors money promoting the building of "Pave the Chattahoochee" Whitewater Project, then gave the concessions to one company who operates on both sides of the river. Now, Phenix City, which chipped in only a marginal amount for construction, is promoting the Whitewater Projects as its own, and going after the booking fees' revenues for itself.

The two football players from John Jay High School in Texas that viciously, and perhaps racially, assaulted a referee with a blindside attack have been suspended from the team and school.
