Mueller uses a grand jury to bring in mostly 11 year old charges up against 2 politicos. The 2 multi-millionaire politicos plead "not guilty".. Let the lawyer games begin..

Hey, Clintons.. whatcha smiling about... y'all's next!

From the "let's see the instant replay of the ref's call" department - Online headline/story: "Referees walk off football field after high school players kneel during anthem * On Oct. 27, several players from Monroe High in New Jersey kneeled during the national anthem before their game against Colts Neck. A referee and his son – a line judge – then stormed off the field." -- Yes!.. unfortunately.. there's more to the story, and it's sadder than "taking the knee".. " Later on Monday, NJ Advance Media reported the two officials would not be assigned any other games this season. * “If they walked off once,” GMC officials assigner Thomas Paulikas told the outlet, “what’s going to keep them from doing it tomorrow or the next day?” -- How pathetic! Hope parents at the next game throw YELLOW FLAGS at any referee who does not walk off when teens disrespect our Flag, Police Officers, Veterans and patriotic American citizens.

Wow.. It's staggering enough that it now takes being a MULTI-Billionaire to make the Forbes 400, but now were learn that there are another 186 other Billionaires in America who may never make it on "the list".

---

Hmmm.. first the bad news.. the latest "worst 50 USA cities to live in is out.. Columbus made it.. number 50.. and it gets even worse for both Columbus, GA Mayor Tom-LYING-son and Congressman Bishop, D-2,.. worse for Tom'LYING-son, is that Macon ... MACON did not make the list.. worse for Bishop is that Albany, GA is rated the 7th worst..

Complete list:

1. Detroit, Michigan

2. Birmingham, Alabama

3. Flint, Michigan

4. St. Louis, Missouri

5. Memphis, Tennessee

6. Milwaukee, Wisconsin

7. Albany, Georgia

8. Hartford, Connecticut

9. Merced, California

10. Wilmington, Delaware

11. San Bernardino, California

12. Springfield, Missouri

13. Stockton, California

14. Baltimore, Maryland

15. Jackson, Mississippi

16. Rockford, Illinois

17. Miami Beach, Florida

18. Springfield, Massachusetts

19. Pueblo, Colorado

20. Canton, Ohio

21. Youngstown, Ohio

22. Buffalo, New York

23. Knoxville, Tennessee

24. Fort Smith, Arkansas

25. Cincinnati, Ohio

26. Little Rock, Arkansas

27. Paterson, New Jersey

28. Tucson, Arizona

29. Gary, Indiana

30. Chattanooga, Tennessee

31. Syracuse, New York

32. Salt Lake City, Utah

33. Reading, Pennsylvania

34. Rochester, New York

35. Lansing, Michigan

36. Waterbury, Connecticut

37. Atlanta, Georgia

38. Fall River, Massachusetts

39. Indianapolis, Indiana

40. Medford, Oregon

41. Lubbock, Texas

42. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

43. Lawrence, Massachusetts

44. Albuquerque, New Mexico

45. Gastonia, North Carolina

46. Shreveport, Louisiana

47. South Bend, Indiana

48. Camden, New Jersey

49. Kansas City, Kansas

50. Columbus, Georgia

Now the particulars - Columbus, GA:

50. Columbus, Georgia

> Population: 200,579

> Median home value: $137,000

> Poverty rate: 21.8%

> Pct. with at least a bachelor’s degree: 24.5%

While it is not the only factor, wealth can have a significant impact on a population’s quality of life. The typical Columbus household earns just $41,859 a year, much lower than the median income nationwide of $55,775. In addition, goods and services are about 4% more expensive on average in Columbus than across the country as a whole. Further, it appears the regional economy is getting worse. While national employment increased by 4% between 2013 and 2015, employment in Columbus declined by 2.9%, the largest decline of the 551 cities reviewed.

Albany, GA:

7. Albany, Georgia

> Population: 71,109

> Median home value: $92,600

> Poverty rate: 32.0%

> Pct. with at least a bachelor’s degree: 19.0%

Population trends are often indicative of the desirability of a city. New residents are often attracted by a healthy economy and job market, while residents flee areas with a poor economy, a high crime rate, and widespread poverty. As the national population expanded by 11.5% over the last decade, the population of Albany, Georgia declined by 4.0%.

This decline appears to reflect some of the problems the southern Georgia city faces. Albany’s job market, for example, does not compare favorably to most U.S. cities. The city’s annual unemployment rate is 7.9%, compared to the 5.3% national unemployment rate. Similarly, while the U.S. workforce grew by 4.0% between 2013 and 2015, total employment in Albany declined by 1.7% over the same period, the second largest employment decline out of the 551 cities reviewed. Almost one-third of the city’s population lives in poverty, well more than double the national poverty rate.

What's even worse is that being 50th worst is not much better than being 7th.. nor 1st.

You know.. "vice-related" activities .. dealing drugs, lottery/gambling.. are made to appear as an easy "get-rich-quick opportunity" to the desperate... but what "the desperate" don't realize.. well don't want to accept/admit.. is that they are being "played" by the predators at the top who already "know" they have the winning hand.

The main unspoken issue with legalizing marijuana is that laws will enable more people to have ready access to it, and thus become conduits to minors who cannot acquire it legally.

How the reality cycle works: KaeperPRICK's agent get 10-15% of KaeperPRICK's revenues... KaeperPRICK/s revenue is nothing... therefore, bottom line, KaeperPRICK equals nothing.

L-E headline/story: "COLUMBUS 2025 * Leaders promote plan to tackle issues * As chairman of the Columbus 2025 initiative, Billy Blanchard informed a group of community leaders about the region’s state of affairs on Monday and said the area has some work to do, and a plan to get it done. * “The Greater Columbus MSA’s population grew by 24 percent from 1970 to 2013, which sounds OK, except that was 58th out of 61 metro areas in the Southeast over the same period,” he said. “The total non-farm jobs in the MSA increased by 1.7 percent in the 10 years from 2005 to 2015. That percentage was the second lowest of the nine peer communities that we compared ourselves against." -- Columbus... we are in trouble.. not only has our current Mayor marched us into darkness, the "most experienced" announced candidate has been in lock-step with her for the past 7 years. We need a "Columbus Trump" to step forward.

---
You know.. groups that stage government practices protests in front or behind the White House just aren't in tune with reality...the fact they are allowed to do so, and with government provided protection pretty much dilutes their premises.

You know.. the newspaper makes the World Series sound exciting enough to start watching MLB again.. I guess the thrill of a possible beanball aimed at any batter who knelt during the National Anthem has a certain appeal..

From the " 'Guess who's NOT coming to (Thanksgiving) Dinner' at Mar Lago this year" department - Online headline/story: "Jared Kushner’s brother slams Trump administration's efforts to weaken Obamacare * The brother of White House senior adviser Jared Kushner has issued an impassioned defense of the individual marketplace under the Affordable Care Act, or ACA while criticizing the Trump administration for not easing “growing confusion among shoppers.” * Joshua Kushner, the self-acknowledged liberal co-founder of a 2012 health care startup called Oscar Health Insurance, wrote an Axios op-ed with the company’s CEO, Mario Schlosser" -- Hmmmm... What is the definition of a "self-acknowledged liberal"? In my book, it's someone who has intentionally attached him/herself to the government teat and is suffering as it dries up. It is someone who has intentionally positioned him/herself to be part of the problem rather than the solution..Go TRUMP!

LIV's L-E "soundoff": "We’re not there yet Women can vote, run for office, and go to war, but we can’t get equal pay? I guess it’s still true that “all men are created equal” … women not included." -- I bet I can describe this "soundoff" writer: She's watched as other women fought for the right to vote, while other women have stepped into the political and battle arenas, but she want fight for herself in the employment arena.. You know, the difference between this "soundoff" whiner and successful women, is that successful women stand-up for themselves and their positions in society... in other words, "they" EARNED their rewards!

A tragic death occurred early Saturday AM in Rome GA... The shooting death of a young man who has been part of our circle of friends since 2nd Grade. He was the son of highly respected parents.. a teacher at Columbus High, and a beloved and valued employee at one of our largest Columbus businesses. A classmate of one of our children from 2nd Grade through High School. His family is devastated at the moment.. My family is stunned.. stunned at the loss of another friend's child.. stunned at what his family and mine will have to go through to cope with this.. but we are all thankful God is with us to show us the way.

---
In Jesus' parable about "weeds" in Matthew 13:24-30, Jesus relays to us about how to handle "weeds" which have been sinfully sowed in with good seed..he says wait for the harvest before removing them, but when we do, then bundle up the "weeds" and "burn them"... this will prevent future return of those weeds. Jesus told us how to handle "evil".. we must eradicate it.. in today's terms, we must return the efficient... and increased.. use of the DEATH PENALTY when dealing with "evil" living within our world.

L-E story: "A conservative website with strong ties to the Republican establishment triggered the investigation into Donald Trump’s past that ultimately produced the dossier that alleged a compromised relationship between the president and the Kremlin." -- At least it is being reported that the "conservative group" was engaged by the "Republican establishment", which, for the most part, means that it was a bunch of "Whino RINOs".. not conservatives nor real Republicans. Hmm.. this reminds me of the 1988 campaign season.. though Democrat candidate Michael Dukakis was run over by the furlough he issued for convicted 1st Degree murderer, Willie Horton, it wasn't Bush41 or the Republicans that brought "Where's Willie" to light.. no, it was that bastion of ethics Algore who tried it in the Democrat Primaries..

---
What is it with college sports these days.. I'm talking about the weird uniforms team show up in...uniforms that have nothing to do with team traditions ..or school colors. Take Ohio State..the Buckeyes have always had nice uniforms...but Saturday, they come out wearing awful workpant gray uniforms instead of the traditional red jerseys.

---
Was listening to a discussion of what Democrats will do to win the White House in 2020..The number one plan is for Democrats go to the "rust belt" states Hellary ignored in 2016, and tell "the locals" that "they" care. I don't think that will work for the Democrats..I believe the "rust belt" states will demand more than Democrats can... WILL.. promise...the "rust belt" states are seeing results of a candidate who keeps his promises/word.... and THEY LIKE IT!

---
U.S. Senator Susan Collins, a Republican member of the Intelligence Committee, said Democrats should be called again to testify about reports that their party and Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign paid for parts of a dossier that detailed accusations about President Donald Trump's ties to Russia.

From the "couldn't happen to a most deserving (_*_)" department - Online story: After being rejected by film critics, George Clooney’s latest directorial project Suburbicon was rejected by audiences too opening down in ninth place with an estimated $2.8M from 2,046 theaters for a poor $1,369 average. Adding to the bad reviews was a dismal D- grade from CinemaScore. Matt Damon led the cast for the R-rated comedy." -- Do you really know what $1,369.00 per screen means? In this case, since it is R-rated, no children's tickets are sold, so the average ticket probably was $10.00 per.. With say 2 showings on Friday, 4 on Saturday and three on Sunday, 9 screening at each "screen" produced $1,369.00 in ticket sales..$1,369.00 is about 137 tickets, and divided by 9 "showings", each showing had an average of about 15 people. Hey, Hollywood, see what happens when your politics fly into the face of working America, and you find out that most of your paying customers are Trump supporters?

L-E story: "Coyotes are on the prowl in Windsor Park, and some residents want the wild animals removed from their streets and walking paths in Heath Park. * Charlie Killmaster, a wildlife biologist with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, said coyotes appear in all 159 counties of the state. The population has increased substantially over the past 15 years. * “I think it just took them a while to get established here,” he said. * Once a coyote moves into an area, Killmaster said the animal is highly adaptable, much like deer, squirrels, raccoons and foxes. “When they move into a suburban or urban area, they pretty quickly realize nothing is going to hurt them. Nobody is shooting at them, nobody is doing anything to them so they get nonchalant. They will move around, walk down the street and seem like they have no negative interactions with humans. * To help control coyotes, Killmaster said there is no closed season on coyotes. They can be shot or trapped year round almost with no limitations. People who live in urban areas, can’t discharge a firearm or don’t have the expertise or equipment to trap them can hire a trapper. “They can remove them from an area any time of the year,” he said. * Removing them from Heath Park would be fine with Browder. “We hope they will take care of whatever is out there so the users can certainly get back to the park while we’ve got this nice fall weather,” she said." -- We can only pray that no "trap and release" program exists.. we've already seen the failure of that method when violent street thugs are released improperly punished... they find there way back into their old neighborhoods more emboldened than when they were taken out.

L-E guest commentary headline: "The Clintons are just not that into you * BY JONAH GOLDBERG * Tribune News Service" -- In August of 1992, our phone rang... it was Fred Gordy, Sr, of Conway, Arkansas. Fred Gordy of Miss Lillian's family, was also a 1st cousin of my dad..Among other things Fred was a doctor, a pretty fair golfer, and a Democratic Party "yellow dog" activist..he was Sgt-at-Arms on Cuzzin Jimmy's "Peanut Brigade Train". but his real passion was in Arkansas politics.. He was a super fundraiser for Democrats and personal friend of Bill and Hellary. Anyway, following the 1992 Democratic Party Convention, Fred called my dad.. over the speaker phone, Fred announced that he'd sent a check to the "Re-Elect Bush (42) Campaign".. he followed that up with a more stunning declaration.. "Dupont (my dad), I just cannot wish the CLINTONS on the rest of the country.". I thought this haunting message had disappeared following her election 2016 failure.. but apparently it's not.. Hopefully, the rebuilding of the case of her scandals will finally put what has haunted me to bed one last time.

Anyone notice the pattern in the NCAA College Football ratings this week? The Top three teams, Alabama, UGA, and Ohio State have one very obvious thing in common.. their head coaches were "seasoned" in the SEC.

Saturday, October 28, 2017

I've had an ongoing exchange with the though-not-soon-enough-for-my-liking-but-the-soon-to-be-EX-GA-District-133-Representative-John-(not his father, Jack) Pezold since he sided with local Democrats to try and get rid of Columbus' Tax Freeze. Just for the record, I just informed him via Facebook of his legacy in the political arena: "John Pezold.. no matter what you "feel" you have accomplished in the politics of life, your legacy is that you hitched your wagon behind Mayor Tomlinson (hmmm.. I see the image, of both a cart behind a jackass and a cart in front of a jackass), and your efforts to take away homeowners property tax protection was thwarted OVERWHELMINGLY by 3 old folks over 60.. Don't mess with old folks!"

From the "even though mainscream media does not have evidence of what is in the first Robert Mueller Grand Jury presentations, mainscream media is going with what it wanted to believe back last January" department - Online story: "A federal grand jury in Washington on Friday approved the first charges in the investigation into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, CNN reported, citing sources briefed on the matter. * The charges are sealed under orders from a federal judge, and it was not clear what the charges were, CNN said, adding that anyone facing charges could be taken into custody as soon as Monday." -- " U.S. intelligence agencies concluded in January that Russia interfered in the election to try to help President Donald Trump defeat Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton through a campaign of hacking and releasing embarrassing emails, and disseminating propaganda via social media to discredit her campaign"? Hmmm... unnamed U.S. Intelligence Agencies? Sure would be more convincing if mainscream media could actually NAME one.. and prove it was an "Intelligent" agency not staffed with primarily Obama appointees/hirees, but the real flaw in the mainscream insinuations is whether Russia or the Trump campaign did anything more embarrassing than what Hellary did to herself.

---
Well.. that list of Cities with the Most Smokers is still bouncing around "out there".. Columbus is still number 11 on the "Most" list, but perhaps that will change by the next posting.. we're probably going to have less since there's such an increase in the number of dead people from being in the way of a smoking gum aimed their way.

---
Kathy Griffin pretty much ruined her career by posting a picture of her holding a blood, decapitated head resembling President Trump.. you know, she could probably get back in good graces with mainscream media/Hollywood by replacing Trump's face by photo-shopping Harvey Weinstein's face into it and reposting it.

---
An online headline shouted out you could see a video of "Cait" Jenner walking around on a beach in "she-it's" swimming suit... I did not, and will NEVER look at such.

Even though more JFK assassination files were released on Thursday.. I am not going to weigh in until the final ones are released on April 15th of 2018.

Rode by the Macon Road K-Mart site yesterday...it was a cold empty shell..I remember K-mart totally disrupting the life in Columbus by challenging Columbus' "blue laws". K-mart won..Columbus hasn't been the he same since..and now K-mart and Sears have slunk out of town...good riddance

From the "Mayor Tom-LYING-son must have picked or instructed the jury" department - WTVM 9 headline story: "Double Churches murder trial verdict: 2 guilty of murder, 1 not guilty of murder * A jury has reached a unanimous verdict for each of the three defendants in the Double Churches Murder Trial. * A'kevious P**** was found guilty of felony murder, armed robbery. He was found not guilty of malice murder and criminal gang activity. * Derain W**** was found guilty of felony murder, possession of a firearm, and armed robbery. He was found not guilty of malice murder and criminal gang activity.
* Jaquawn C*** was found guilty of armed robbery. He was found not guilty of felony murder and criminal gang activity." -- A split decision.. 2 guilty of murder, but all three "not guilty" of "criminal gang activity".. Guess this was just "routine Gang activity"

---
From the "I think Tom Steyer does things backward" department -- Billionaire hedge-fund operator (bets against companies' successes) Democrat Tom Steyer has posted this on his " NeedToImpeach.com." website...

“Donald Trump has brought us to the brink of nuclear war, obstructed justice, and taken money from foreign governments,” the website states in part. “We need to impeach this dangerous president.” -- You know.. as hard as Styer tries, he just doesn't understand that his facts/statements would be more accurate if he inserted the name of Hellary every time he mentions Trump...

“Hellary has brought us to the brink of nuclear war, obstructed justice, and taken money from foreign governments,”

One thing that cannot be denied is that Kim Jong Ooooops rose into the public domain during the Obama/Hellary era.

---
Have you noticed that when Kim Jong Oooops babbles, mainscream media accepts it as gospel, and when Trump says, "I gotta go to the bathroom", mainscream media questions which number he means.

---
A Toyota ad states: "Learn how you can turn driving into pure excitement" -- Hey, Toyota.. I don't want anymore "excitement".. I see enough texting drivers and redlight runners.. I just want "to get there... safely and unruffled".

---
Oh.. two things have appeared in the L-E or my blog recently: some Letter writer mentioned he saw GA District Rep John Pezold so busy with his phone during a traffic signal light sequence, and that he had to honk at Pezold to get going.. I also saw where McDonald's is going to install "Cellphone Lock-boxes" in its restaurants to people to put them away during their meal there. Maybe McDonald's should put the first local "Cellphone Lock-box" in Representative/McDonald's operator Pezold's car.

---
Uber-LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Amendment 8 protects us from cruel and unusual punishment … so why are we still having to listen to Trump talk?" -- I'm tired of whiny libs complaining about Trump winning the election. Well, if libs even tried to offer a candidate that that had America's current and future interests in mind, perhaps libs might have a rebuilding block to stand on, but let's face it..between both Clintons, Algore, Kerry, Obama and Bernie, America did not.. does not want 4 more years of socialistic leaning government. Pathetically, the Republican establishment hasn't offered much different in 3 Bushes, Dole, McCain or a muzzled Romney, so Trump stood up strong and reminded America we could be Great Again.. and WE LIKE IT!

Our son-in-law, Paul, passed his  bar exam.... and in fine style!

From the "and the conspiracy theories live on" department - Online headline/story: "Trump releases some JFK files, blocks others under pressure from FBI and CIA * President Donald Trump on Thursday ordered the release of 2,800 documents related to the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy but yielded to pressure from the FBI and CIA to block the release of some information, senior administration officials said. * Congress had ordered in 1992 that all records relating to the investigation into Kennedy's death should be open to the public, and set a final deadline of Oct. 26, 2017, for the entire set to be made public. Trump had confirmed on Saturday that he would allow the documents to be made public. * Administration officials told reporters on a conference call that Trump ordered government agencies to study the redactions in the documents over the next 180 days to determine whether they needed to remain hidden from the public. After the review, Trump expected such withholdings to be rare" -- You know..there is not a living individual that had anything to do with, has any knowledge of what went on, who is younger than me, and probably no one left with knowledge who still works within the government. There is no one still alive who has not had time to make amends or get right with God over any aspect of the assassination or investigation..After more than 50 years, there is absolutely no reason not to set the records 100% straight. My generation DESERVES to KNOW everything...

---
Yesterday was Hellary's 70th birthday.. thank goodness it was not mainscream media frenzy from the White House.. of course, the fun part would be seeing her original "list of invitees".. and see when she struck Harvey Weinstein off of it.

---
Gotta ask this question: Hey. Hellary, how many governments or billionaires sent many millions of dollars to your Foundations to celebrate this birthday?

---
It's ironic.. Hellary's only path to the presidency was hanging onto Bill's coattails..and when those began to be too slippery to hang onto, she started wearing his suits..what a pathetic legacy she leaves.

---
Online story: "Two Georgia teenagers have been arrested and charged with multiple counts of terroristic threats and attempted murder after law enforcement found a homemade explosive device allegedly intended to be used at their high school, police said. * Alfred Dupree, 17, of Acworth, and Victoria McCurley, 17, of Woodstock, have also been charged with one count each of possession and/or transportation of a destructive device/explosive with intent to kill, injure or destroy a public building. * They are also charged with one count of criminal attempt to commit arson. If found guilty on all charges, the suspects could face a potential maximum 100-year prison sentence. Etowah High School, where Dupree and McCurley are both students, released a statement to parents saying the pair face "severe administrative disciplinary actions." -- "the pair face "severe administrative disciplinary actions"? Such as... no hot lunches for a week...withdrawal of Prom privileges... how about having to sit on the front seat of the school bus? WE all know that records will be sealed, and school officials will hope their parents won't sue them for something..Whatta joke!

---
From the "nothing has changed in the Democrat Party platform defining leadership" department - Online headline/story: "A Joe Biden presidential run in 2020 might still happen * He said "I haven’t decided to run, but I’ve decided I’m not going to decide not to run."" -- "I’m not going to decide not to run"? Good grief.. this sounds like the working title of a Dr Seuss book no publisher wanted to market.

---
There was a headline in today's news that the Dallas Cowboy player who first raised his fist during a National Anthem was released by the team.. It didn't mention his name, and I am so not interested, I didn't read further to find out..I love this boycott!

---
From the "save your time and money" department - My bride and I went to see "American Made" yesterday... not so much to see it but to have a "popcorn" venture. and we usually enjoy Tom Cruise.. this is an exception.. though loosely based on the events during the Reagan years, and pointedly aimed at Ollie North, the message backfired as the real loser ended up being Governor Clinton of Arkansas... now I know why my late Cousin Fred Gordy of Conway, Arkansas words still haunt me 25 years after Clinton got the Democrat nomination in 1992..this dictionary definition of a "yellow dog Democrat" told the family that he'd sent a check to the Re-Elect Bush Campaign because... because, "I cannot wish the Clintons (plural) on the rest of the country".

---
From the "and you wonder why our public school students do not know.. understand.. our country's history" department - Online headline/story: "DNC head Tom Perez falsely claims Electoral College 'not a creation of the Constitution' * "The Electoral College is not a creation of the Constitution," Perez said during a lecture at Indiana University Law School. "It doesn’t have to be there." -- Of course, "The Electoral College, a mechanism for indirect election of the president created by the Founding Fathers as a compromise between smaller states and larger states, is clearly laid out in Article II of the Constitution: "Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress.".. You know, the names of every law student who has been lectured on this by Tom Perez should never be allowed to run for, or get appointed to any level of judgeship. Our laws are BASED on their Constitutionality, and every judge needs to have no doubt in what the Constitution "says" or stands for.
---
L-E headline/story: "GEORGIA ELECTION SYSTEM * Election server data erased after suit filed * BY FRANK BAJAK * Associated Press *A computer server crucial to a lawsuit against Georgia election officials was quietly wiped clean by its custodians just after the suit was filed, The Associated Press has learned." -- Hmmm... interesting... NOW the AP and the L-E are interested in a server being erased.. maybe now Hellary's illegal personal server and cellphones destruction will be remembered by mainscream media.
---
L-E headline: "HEALTH CARE * Columbus Regional merger with Piedmont moves closer to reality" -- Hmmm.. there is one very big question that needs to be addressed.. that of the regretful decision of a previous Council to give the original Columbus Medical Center 3 mils of City property taxes to it without real accountability as to how it was used.. this cannot be passed on to an outside entity that has no more interest in Columbus other than the revenue flow..
---
Oh, our BCer with connections to the politics of highways and such reminded me of this after my yesterday post concerning the renewed interests in Interstate Connections.."I16 was originally supposed to be built from Savannah through Macon through Columbus to intersect with 85 near Tuskegee. But Alabama would not agree to pay their share of the Columbus to Tuskegee section. Without that link GADOT withdrew the matching funding for the Macon to Columbus link. . " -- You know.. if Alabama had come through. the Great Wolf Lodge being built in Lagrange could possibly be being built here instead.
---
From the "he still doesn't get the BIG Picture" department - L-E headline: "SC’s Graham cozies up to Trump: ‘When I help him, it helps me’" -- Pathetic.. hey Senator Graham. the Big Picture is that when you support President Trump. you help AMERICA on it's return to greatness!

Thursday, October 26, 2017

What is it with Kim Jong Oooops? He's 5' 7", about 300 pounds, and looks more like a cannon ball with a short dud fuse than nuclear threat.

From the "Fred Sanford, "It's the big one Elizabeth, I'm coming to see you" department - Online story: "A U.S. judge in California on Wednesday refused to block President Donald Trump's decision to end subsidy payments to health insurers under Obamacare, rejecting a request by Democratic attorneys general from 18 U.S. states. * U.S. District Judge Vince Chhabria in San Francisco sided with the Trump administration, saying the government does not have to make the payments while litigation over the subsidies unfolds. * Chhabria, appointed by Democratic former President Barack Obama, wrote that although the case appears to be a close call "it appears initially that the Trump administration has the stronger legal argument."" -- Harvey Weinstein is toast, Hellary/Comey/Lynch are back under the magnifying glass, and now an Obama appointed, US District 9 judge of Northern California issues a decision that supports the US Constitution.. Whoa! We better check and see how this alignment compares to the Book of Revelation.

Parcel 098 003 002 a.k.a. 5150 Macon Road (old Harmony Club)

This parcel was bought sold in 2007 for $2,100,000.00 then foreclosed on by the seller on 2009,.. yet in 2016 was carried on the Tax Books as valued at $1,553,110 and even lower after the new assessment ($1.538.795.00).

Of course, John Pezold.. not-soon-enough-but-soon-to-be Ex-District 133 Representative and front spokesman for eliminating the tax freeze is involved. Seems funny at how his freeze protected home, and another home he owns all had lowered FMVs, too, following the new assessments.. am I going to have to check all his family's properties to see if the pattern continues?

You know, as I recall Mayor Tom-LYING-son's argument is that the City was losing money on properties that are carried on the books below the value they should be taxed on yet this very valuable property on Macon Road ( Parcel 098 003 002 ) and Pezold's personal home seem to defy her logic and claims.

From the "wonder what the real motive is" department - Online headline/story: "Saudi Arabia just announced plans to build a $500 billion mega-city that's 33 times the size of New York City * Now the Saudi Arabian government has come up with a project that could give its economy a boost: a $500 billion mega-city that will connect to Jordan and Egypt and be powered completely by renewable energy." -- "powered completely by renewable energy"? Hmmm...sorta implies that Saudi Arabia has a plan to eventually make a move that jacks up the price of oil while making itself independent of it..

From the "here's a better way to make a point" department - Online headline: "NAACP warns African-Americans about flying on American Airlines" -- Good grief.. the NAACP would be more effective for our country if it recommended that all African-Americans stop voting for Democrats!

From the "did you even know this was going on" department - Online headline/story: "DOJ ends Holder-era ‘slush fund’ payouts to outside groups * The Justice Department announced Wednesday it will no longer allow prosecutors to strike settlement agreements with big companies directing them to make payouts to outside groups, ending an Obama-era practice that Republicans decried as a “slush fund” that padded the accounts of liberal interest groups. * In a memo sent to 94 U.S. attorneys' offices early Wednesday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions said he would end the practice that allowed companies to meet settlement burdens by giving money to groups that were neither victims nor parties to the case. * Sessions said the money should, instead, go to the Treasury Department or victims. * “When the federal government settles a case against a corporate wrongdoer, any settlement funds should go first to the victims and then to the American people—not to bankroll third-party special interest groups or the political friends of whoever is in power,” Sessions said in a statement." -- Good grief.. our tax dollars have basically been funding Soros, and every other left-wing proponents efforts to undermine America's FUTURE! Go TRUMP!

Keep it up! The NFL boycott that is.. there are indications that there will be cut backs on the number of NFL games televised per week in an effort to boost viewers interests in watching limited numbers of games.. Hang tough! The truth is that advertisers are seeing fewer "customers" in the stands, and that means fewer "customers" are tuning in to watch on TV as well. The boycott will work like Novocaine.. it takes a while to get into the system, but you can't stop it once in.

Mayor Tom-LYING-son's Senate hopes just went "poof". The L-E story on drugs, gangs, and the escalating crime rates just went state-wide.. the L-E story, "Columbus business leaders concerned about drugs, violence and economic development" by BY ALVA JAMES-JOHNSON was picked up in the "Georgia 10X10 - Top 10 Stories By 10:00a.m." statewide e-flyer.

L-E headline/story: "Wright pushes to legalize casino gambling — again * Wright asked councilors to pass the same resolution that they passed last year, directing the city’s legislative delegation to push for legislation to authorize a statewide referendum for a constitutional amendment that would allow citizens to vote on the issue. * Under the proposal, council would request a local referendum if the constitutional amendment is adopted, giving local residents an opportunity to approve or reject casino gaming in Muscogee County. * The money from gambling would go to fund Hope scholarships." -- "money from gambling would go to fund Hope scholarships"? Good grief.. this sounds like the game plan the MCSD SPLOSTS use to sway votes... do it "For the Children" while the truth is, do we want our children believing there is anything good in evil.. While you can say there is good in the intentions of the Hope Scholarships, they no longer are sufficient for most students.. what the lottery funds have basically done is escalate college costs to families at much higher rates than inflation has caused. Throwing more money at the problem will not help.

L-E headline: "Colorful new sculpture unveiled at CSU downtown campus" -- Hmmm.. the RiverCenter has its "Viagra Falls" sculpture, and now 12th & Broadway have its "Tetris Towers".. Hmmm.. would loved to have been "a fly on the wall" at the meeting where the Historic Columbus Foundation/Facade Committee was told it was to welcome this with silence.

From a L-E story on odd information: " Seventy-eight percent of NFL players are bankrupt two years after finishing their careers." -- Guess we'll see a new category added after this year.. number of NFL owners declaring bankruptcy after this season.

L-E headline: "Council supports idea of interstate in Columbus" -- Just curious.. but with the fact we already have I-185 north to I-85, wouldn't it be easier.. quicker, and less expensive to tie in I-85 from Montgomery to pass through Columbus to 1-75 in Macon, and to I-16 from Macon to Savannah and then connect I-85 in Montgomery to I-20 in Meridian?

L-E headline/story: "Valley Hospitality in as RiverMill management firm * Columbus-based Valley Hospitality Services through It’s Your Day Catering will assume management and food service responsibilities beginning Feb. 1, said Frank Morast, the president of the Hospital Authority of Columbus. In 2014, the authority purchased the riverfront property, which is on the site of the former Bibb Mill." -- One question.. and one observance.. Question: What in the world is the Columbus Hospital Authority doing in the Event Center business? Observance: another connection with our "not-soon-enough-but-soon-to-be Ex-District 133 Representative"..Just wondering....
