Illegal entry IS a crime, and deporting such for that BEFORE they commit worse offenses is smart enforcement.

L-E headline/story: "Columbus ranks second in per capita income among Georgia metro areas * (Becca) Hardin (Columbus Chamber of Commerce) threw out the names of Pratt & Whitney, PCI, NCR, Aflac and TSYS as companies that pay well and are relatively stable" -- Hmmm....Does the Chamber know something about Synovus/CB&T that we don't?

L-E story: "Her bus schedule is ridiculous,” Dooley said. “The bus stops down the street from our house at 6:41 a.m. — for a kindergartner. She gets home at 3:05 p.m., which is fair.” -- Attention: Anyone associated with anyone running for a MCSD board seat will get my support/vote if he/she runs on a platform of sanity! Return the school year to a post-Labor Day start and a traditional June ending; that plus eliminating the majority of busing. No kindergartner should be put on a school bus at 6:41 AM!

" -- It's a shame that writer cannot predict his consumption rate, and stock up on enough on Saturday to last him for Sunday. It's also a shame he can't give 'it' a day of rest.

From the "suspicions confirmed" department: "BERLIN — A small Hamburg mosque once frequented by Sept. 11 attackers was shut down and searched Monday because German authorities believed the prayer house was again being used as a meeting point for Islamic radicals. * The Taiba mosque was closed and the cultural association that runs it was banned, officials in the northern German city of Hamburg said. * “We have closed the mosque because it was a recruiting and meeting point for Islamic radicals who wanted to participate in socalled jihad or holy war,” said Frank Reschreiter, a spokesman for the Hamburg state interior ministry." -- What timing! Now 'they' can meet at the Mosque they are trying to build in the shadows of Ground Zero.
