The Breakfast Club - August 23, 2010

Online headline: "Iran Unveils 'Ambassador of Death'" -- Ooops, my bad. Thought maybe Ahmandine-JIHAD had traded something for Joe Biden.
---
Online story: "In western Mexico, police found the body of a U.S. citizen inside a car along the highway between the Pacific resorts of Acapulco and Zihuatanejo. * A report from Guerrero state police said the man was shot to death and had identification indicating he was from Georgia." -- So much for the slick ad campaign Mexico is running to get tourist from America to come back.
---
L-E story: "The city of Columbus will use $1 million in stimulus funds to install an intelligent transportation system along Wynnton Road." -- Don't you know this will be waste of another $1,000,000.00 dollars...anything government initiated based on government's definition of 'intelligent' is an oxymoron.
---
Dr Harold Jarrell....what a powerful and gentle beacon of light. We'll miss him, but we'll not forget his impact on Columbus.
---
The White House spinmeisters were quick to say potUS Imam-a prays daily; what they didn't say was whether he prayed 6 times a day to the East.
---
Online headline: "Tropical Storm Frank Forms Off Mexico's Coast" -- Ooops, my bad. Thought maybe Massachusetts Representative Barney Frank had gone on a sputtering tirade out on Kerry's yacht.
---
L-E story: "HOWZ-E-MADAD, Afghanistan — As Lt. Col. Peter N. Benchoff prepares for an assault next month into the birthplace of the Taliban, he doesn’t sugarcoat the hurdles his troops face in this crucial swath of southern Afghanistan. " -- This makes 'WikiLeaks' obsolete! What military strategy calls for putting 'the plan' in the newspaper? Does Benchoff & the Associated Press believe the Taliban cannot read English? Can I buy a front row ticket to watch? Every one pray for our troops who have to carry out Benchoff's orders.
---
L-E's "Thought for Today, “I know the world is filled with troubles and many injustices. But reality is as beautiful as it is ugly. I think it is just as important to sing about beautiful mornings as it is to talk about slums. I just couldn't write anything without hope in it.” — Oscar Hammerstein II (1895-1960)." -- Well, if he could have seen potUS Imam-a's version of "HOPE", Hammerstein would have had to "CHANGE' careers
---
A L-E "soundoff": "To the people concerned about the All Stars missing school, get over it. The best lessons in life are not learned in school." -- And after the last round of CRCT test scores, what are they learning in school anyway?
---
Bet the White House said a prayer yesterday when Saudi Arabia was knocked out of contention in the Little League World Series. Now Hawaii won't be playing Saudi Arabia so potUS Imam-a won't have to reveal his preference of praying for the West or praying to the East.
