The Breakfast Club - August 26, 2010

For the record: In 1985, I bought my first home PC, It was DOS based with a Tandy GUI (Graphic User Interface for you newbies) that was better than the first two version of Windows. Yesterday, I 'upgraded' (yeah, right) my notebook that came with Vista to Windows 7. Yesterday, I also vowed never to buy another Microsoft product. After 25 years of working through Microsoft glitches and reboots, my next computer will be an Apple, and if Apple ever offers an OS that will work on my existing computers, I will throw Microsoft out of my life.
---
From the 'it's not one world' department: " A 50-year-old Sri Lankan woman who worked as a maid for a large family in Saudi Arabia for five months was allegedly tortured by some of the family members hammering nails into her body, doctors said." -- How do we assimilate this culture into ours without ruining ours?
---
Online headline: "FBI Hunts for Suspected Wisconsin Campus Bomber 40 Years Later" -- He ought to be easy to find; sounds like he's someone potUS Imam-a would have him on his payroll.
---
With the "Summer of Recovery" being shot down with every economic report coming from sources other than Robert Gibbs and VPOTUS Biden, no wonder potUS Imam-a and Congress is taking extended vacations. Wish they'd all do us a bigger favor and stay on vacation until the next Congress takes its seat in January of 2011.
---
Wish Chuck Williams was back in town to write the articles concerning the Parks&Rec scandal. Even though his current assignment is writing about Little League, his work is in a much higher 'league' than any other writer at the L-E.
---
Isn't it ironic that the only house have a good month is the one potUS Imam-a is renting on his Martha's Vineyard vacation?
---
Maybe this is the year that liberals will realize that when their choice of candidates get elected, it only proves how bad their concept of how America should work is.
---
L-E headline: "Mexican drug cartel suspected in massacre of 72 " -- "Suspected"?
---
The L-E's "Dandy Dozen" must be outstanding. I cannot imagine it being better when a player from an area high school doesn't make the group even though it's announced that he's been signed by a SEC team on the same day as the "Dandy Dozen" is announced. Well, it is South Carolina and not UGA, Alabama, or Auburn.
