Online headline: "France Implements Enormous Tax on Rich" -- Looks like the prequel of "2016: Obama's America" is "Live!", on stage, as we speak.

---

From a fellow BCer:

---

Online story: "Sears and Darden Restaurants -- the parent company of the Olive Garden, Red Lobster and other chain eateries -- plan to start giving their employees a pot of money and letting them choose both their insurer and level of coverage from an online marketplace, The Wall Street Journal reports. The move may mean that employees end up paying more for their coverage out of pocket if the sum provided by their employers doesn’t go up as quickly as health care costs. " -- Welcome to HELL-thScare 2013's "unintended consequences"... "collateral damage"! Sears and Darden employees will get a double dose of reality as their paychecks look bigger, their tax class gets higher, their healthcare escalates, and their net income takes a hit.

---

Middle Tennessee State University? Maybe GA Tech will start a trend next year or the one after that since it has 12 games to schedule, why not schedule them against front line teams so that if you get beat by some other teams, you won't be embarrassed by losing to a "W"-padder.

---

Why is Fox News getting lambasted? I did not see the live (nor any reruns that haven't been redacted) view of the chase/crash/suicide, but it was live, unfiltered news, not the pabulum mainstream government kowtowing media giants want to give.

---

I like an enthusiastic home team crowd, but some of the crowd at Medinah sounded like they were recruited from Caddy Shack II and Happy Gilmore.

---

From a fellow BCer..worth a peek and pass along: "Produced in San Diego County by local college students, and
local high schoolers.....can you believe it....in California!!
This 3-minute, professional-quality video is
perfect to
share across the nation with family, friends and everyone in between!! Put your computer sound on and go to full screen. "
---
The latest from barackobama.com: "Every donation counts -- will you chip in $5 or more now?" -- Up until a week ago or so, all King Arpege asked for was a $3 donation; now he wants $5. This, from the same guy who insists that there is no inflation so SS checks do not get a COLA bump.
---
The HuffPost has pictures of the 50 states' Capitol buildings. 49 of them are straight on post card type photos.... GA's was not one of them.
This one must have been taken in the early 1990's when GA politics leaned heavily to the left.
---
I like the new rules for selecting a Chief Judge of our Supreme Court Circuit every two years. Seems like a pretty good method of balancing opinions and work loads for all concerned.
---
L-E headline: "Shelnutt to plead guilty to reduced drug charges * Attorney could avoid jail time. retain law license in plea deal" -- Boy, this really cleans up the image the public already has about lawyers... NOT!
---
Amendment 1 on our GA ballot will give parents more options for educating their children. Send a message to the MCSD board and administration that change is needed, wanted. Vote "FOR" Amendment one to allow charter schools without the MCSD board approval. We can become our own "superintendent" versus the ones the MCSD wants.
---
Karl Douglass is about to take the ride of his life. Raising teens is no easy under the best of circumstances, but modern technology undermines teens getting low doses of reality over a 6-8 year period as parents would like. Facebook, cell phones, TV oriented teen shows give teens warped senses of freedoms they are not ready to digest and assimilate all at once, must less put to practice.
---
L-E headline/story: "Alcohol enemas a new fear at college * Thanks to the drunken exploits of a fraternity at the University of Tennessee, alcohol enemas, a bizarre way of getting drunk, is giving parents, administrators and healthcare workers a new fear" -- A "new fear" indeed! Now our schools can't even teach students which end to funnel shots into! Well, I guess it might be an attempt to fool a 'breathalyzer'.
---
Who cares what the former UGA running back with a tendency to hoard stolen guns under his car seat does for a minor league team? UGA does not seem to miss him at all, so why does the L-E even want to follow him?

Online headline: "More Bad News for Jobless Americans" -- Ooops, thought it was that new polls indicated King Arpege was improving.

---

Looking at the polls, it seems the more the Romey and Arpege target the 'swing states', mainstream media's assault on Romney/kid's glove approach on Arpege seems to affect the other states.

---

Mainstream media would be more patriotic if it took a neutral position in reporting the performance and promises of political candidates.

---

In retrospect, it is interesting to parse XpotUS Clinton's claim that no one,not even himself, could have helped this economy in only 4 years. You know, in a special way, he WAS telling the truth as he sees it. His reference to "no one" was about only those in attendance to the DIM&DUMBERat Nation Convention in NC.

---

Again, in retrospect, Fidel Castro and now his brother have had the Cubam economy in their hands for 50+ years, and their economy is still lousy as is its medical system.

---

Next week, King Arpege and Clinton are campaigning in California. Could it be that all's not well in Hollywood?

---

L-E story: "A Columbus Technical College student was robbed and beaten with a bat Wednesday morning in one of the school’s parking lots, police said. " -- How could this happen when the CT Campus Cops had recently promoted their new status and pursuit vehicles?

---

A retired California DA is out supporting a California ballot initiative to rid California of 'the death sentence' BECAUSE.... it cost to much to prosecute! No, it costs extra to comply with over demanding appeal court scrutiny, and for housing criminals way too long before finally carrying out the sentences.

---

From a fellow BCer:

MEDICARE
Look clearly at the 2014 rate compared to the 2013 rate.

For those of you who are on Medicare, read the following. It's short, but
important and you probably haven't heard about it in the Mainstream News:

"The per person Medicare Insurance Premium will increase from the present
Monthly Fee of
$96.40, rising to:

$104.20 in 2012

$120.20 in 2013

And

$247.00 in 2014."

---

70 agencies of our federal government are delinquent in paying their employees' withholding taxes over several years. IRS needs to shut those agencies down and prosecute the agency heads.

---

Now another solar panel company is getting another King Arpege granted taxpayer guaranteed "STIM-YOU-LIE" loan for about $200 million. Again to a "candidate Obama" donor. A spokesperson with no skin in the game claims this is an acceptable gamble. BS... if liberals are so convinced of solar power being the future, why aren't liberals such as Buffet, Gates, and Soros investing in these companies rather than the government with tax dollars?

---

With a heads up from a fellow BCers: King Arpege went to a manufacturing plant in Wisconsin. He noted a "banner" on the wall, and thought it was an union banner saying it was started in 1848. An employee corrected the president, saying not only was that banner actually the Wisconsin State flag, this was not a union shop. Wonder if the president would have felt supportive if the referee that blew the Packers' game was an union one?

---

The manufacturers' index was released from Chicago yesterday showing the first contraction in 3 years. Remember, this was released from CHICAGO so you know those figures have been negotiated and spun as much as the White House can do, and King Arpege can not even "fix" those any better. Ron White is right... you can't fix stupid, but you can get stupid to vote for you again.

---

The "regular" NFL reds may have gotten cheered Thursday night, but they haven't stepped out on the field for a Philly "boo-birds" greeting.
---

Online McClatchy story: "The filmmaker behind the anti-Islamic video that has sparked violence across the globe was arrested Thursday on suspicion of violating the terms of his probation, including allegedly lying about his role in the film's production" -- Why is the mainstream media supporting this arrest? It flies in the face of our 1st Amendment rights, and mainstream media better be on guard as it could happen to them next.

---

Leonard Pitts just doesn't have a clue...he's also lacks vision. The headline of his current commentary reads, "Commentary: Being poor isn't a character flaw" -- Well Mr bottom-of-the Pitts, being rich or successful isn't a character flaw, either.

---

From another McClatchy story: "The Democratic and Republican parties each received $18,248,300 for their conventions." -- Hold on! Wait a minute! Nearly $36.5 Million tax dollars went to fund private entity parties? This makes the GSA convention's picayune in comparison! When was this legislation suck in on us?

---

Benghazi-Gate... Hope this is the last "gate" we have to deal with until "close-the-White-House-gate" behind you in January.

---

Curtailing crime in MidTown might be easier if those arrested were placed in old fashioned 'stocks' in the front yards of people they robbed until their appointed trial dates.

L-E headline: "No sign of remains in new Mich. search for Hoffa" -- The only thing missing from this 'non-drama' was Geraldo Rivera doing a sequel to his "Al Capone Vault" fiasco.

---

You know, since the White House KNEW within 24 hours that the Benghazi death of Ambassador Stevens was the planned act of terrorists, why was the White House sending out spinmeisters 5 days later to claim it was a spontaneous response to a video? It's an all out ploy to keep media focused on anything but the economy failure of King Arpege.

---

From the "inane" department: "James Carville, Karl Rove to debate in Alabama" -- And for what purpose? Now if the first, which would probably be the only one, question was, "Why do each of you think the other is an obnoxious know it all?", I might be interested in gearing what they say.

---

Friday, September 28, 2012

Online headlines: "Samuel L. Jackson To Voters: 'Wake The F*ck Up' And Vote Obama" * "Bill Maher Slams 'Dipsh*t' Undecided Voters" -- Combined with Madonna's "f-word" plea, maybe the "Big F-ing Deal"exchange between King Arpege and Biden wasn't a slip up, but all of them add up to one "Big F-ing Disgrace" to our children's future.

---

You know, if liberals feel we should all just be more civil to each other and the world, you'd think they would at least start with a more civil conversation.

---

Online story: "Staten Island's dreams of hosting the world's largest ferris wheel are coming to fruition! * Mayor Bloomberg will make the official announcement on Thursday detailing the construction of the 625-foot New York Wheel on the Staten Island waterfront. * The wheel will cost roughly $230 million to build and carry an estimated 4.5 million visitors annually. " -- Just doing the quick math means that, allowing for 2 weeks annually for down time for maintenance/repairs/inspections, that to service 4.5 million people, the ferris wheel must load, ride, then unload over 1000 people per hour, 12 hours per day for 350 days per year. Good luck with that.

---

The latest first time filings for unemployment was 359,000 , making for an annualized rate of 18,700,000 more who will be receiving unemployment checks in addition to the ones still looking, but not finding jobs.

---

Looks like King Arpege has come up with a working name for his biographical trilogy of books. The next one will be titled, "Another Inconvenient Untruth" about his response to the Libyan fatal assault.

---

One flag I will never salute:

---

The latest from barackobama.com: "
Hal -- I want to thank you for all you're doing for this campaign.

If we get to continue this work, it's going to be because of you.
Barack
-- Proof positive King Arpege has no clue......
---
More "latest from barackobama.com: "Hal -- Hey, check this out -- according to our records, there are 10,213 people named Hal who are already registered to vote in this election. As a supporter of this campaign, you're probably one of them" -- "probably one of them"? More 'proof positive' King Arpege hasn't a clue.
---
Did you notice how little attention the mainstream media gave to Ahmandine-JIHAD's UN speech on Yom Kippur? Right there in NYC, home of the second largest population of Jewish people.

Online headline: "Jimmy Hoffa Remains: Police Will Dig For Clues Under Roseville, Michigan Driveway" -- Well, at least I can strike off visiting "the Meadowlands" from my 'bucket list'.

---

Online headline: "'Offensive' Obama Photos Cause Stir" -- Ooops, my bad. Thought some Libyan paper had denigrated King Arpege, and Christians stormed the Libyan Embassy in Washington.

Why is there such controversy over the interim NFL refs? Has anyone compared the number of missed calls as a percentage of all their calls to last years games? Do union Refs ever call an error free game? All this turmoil is just frustration that the regular refs could end by being reasonable.
---
Online headline: "NFL And Referees Union Agree On Deal To End Lockout" -- Alright! Now we'll see perfectly called and injury free games..... Wanna bet?
---
Online story/story: "UNITED NATIONS -- Former President Bill Clinton and other world leaders are announcing that prices for long-acting contraception will be halved for 27 million women in the developing world through a new partnership. * Bill and Melinda Gates, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and other advocates pledged the huge sum, which could potentially help prevent 200,000 women during pregnancy and childbirth, 110 million unwanted pregnancies, and 50 million abortions all over the world, according to Philanthropy News Digest." -- Hmmm, but why don't 'they' initiate/require this program in America as part of the entitlement package?
---
Median income has fallen by 8.2% since King Arpege was elected. 12 million more are on food stamps than were when he was elected. Millions more are either unemployed or under employed, and 100s of thousands have stopped looking for work. Yet media and Republican strategist are busy dealing with non-issues like Romney's taxes. America is in trouble, and the enemy is us.
---
If President Obama's TelePrompters were just turned around to face the cameras so we could read his speech writers' thought for ourselves, all we'd need was an empty chair behind the desk in the Oval Office.
---
I am beginning to wonder if the L-E has hired ex-White House Press spokesman Robert Gibbs to write Romney zingers for "Soundoff".
---
The L-E has printed another Judy F. Brouillette random bot of drivel, and again has not identified her as the treasurer of the Muscogee Democrats. Once again we are blessed to know that after 33 years of teaching, she's no longer in front of a classroom as a role model for students. This was a much needed change that does give hope to America.
---
L-E headline: "Police: Drugs found on driver with suspended license" -- So now drivers carry suspended licenses? Seriously, another example of why drivers who get license suspensions should have their cars impounded or immobilized for the sentence period.
---
L-E story: "Washington - With college enrollment growing, student debt has stretched to a record number of U.S. households - nearly 1 in 5 - with the biggest burdens falling on the young and poor. * This is double the share in 1989, and up from 15 percent in 2007... representing the biggest three-year increase in student debt in more than two decades." -- King Arpege's plan is working... get them to vote you in with promises of easy to get loans, then promise to forgive their debt if they vote for him again.
---
L-E story: "Washington - A survey of US chief executives shows a sharp drop in the number of large corporations that plan to add jobs or hire more workers." -- Just confirmation that student loans will continue to be an albatross around our economy's neck.

Wednesday, September 26, 2012

If the NFL players' union thinks having non-union refs is such an issue, the players could walk out OR get on to the Referees' union to take a 'more than fair' offer for part time employees, and get back to work.
---

Online story: "President Obama's campaign, with a good dose of help from the media, is pushing a claim that millionaire Mitt Romney is taxed at a "lower rate" than someone making $50,000 a year. * IRS data, though, shows that Romney's effective income tax rate -- that's what he pays as a percentage of his income once deductions and other benefits are factored in -- is actually far higher than what most Americans pay. * And it's certainly higher than what someone making $50,000 pays. * IRS data from 2010 shows someone making between $50,000 and $75,000 on average pays an effective rate of 7.8 percent. Even someone making between $100,000 and $200,000 pays a 12.1 percent rate -- also lower than Romney's." -- King Arpege is about to unseat XpotUS Clinton as 'most likely to lie about everything to get what he wants'.

---

Was just looking at some pictures of some strange sea life. Some are said to virtually unchanged from the age of dinosaurs. That in mind, how can scientist proclaim man is evolved fro apes, when there is proof other animals do not evolve from there original state, nor do scientists have any living examples of mutations of ape-to-man?

---

Online headline: "Obama Vows to End 'Modern Slavery'" -- Ooops, my bad. Thought he wasvowing to end DIM&DUMBERat entitlement programs and forced union participation at GM.

---

From a fellow BCer:

A picture of King Arpege has been found when he was a student of Karl Marx.

---

From another BCer:

Unfortunately, there are still voters to stupid to recognize he is talking to them..again.

---

The latest from barackobama.com: "If you chip in $5 or whatever you can, you'll be automatically entered for a chance to take part in this campaign tradition. Today only, each entry counts as two." -- King Arpege opens his mouth, and lies begin! If Xpotus Clinton was a "sex addict" (BTW, did he ever go to and complete a rehab program?), King Arpege is just as addicted to lying. Once again, you cannot enter his "Dinner for Barack" on "whatever you can" give.

---

New York Post article: "Mitt Romney has, in the past two years, paid almost $5 million in taxes while giving away $7 million. And, as he said, he has paid the taxes he was supposed to pay according to the laws of the United States, which is all that is required -- legally, morally and practically -- of anyone… The release of these tax records leaves no doubt about one thing: Mitt Romney is an extraordinarily, remarkably, astonishingly generous man. A good man. Maybe even a great man.” -- You know, if the Romneys had paid the government the $5 million in taxes plus the $7 million in charity, the government would not have done the good the charities did with their share.

---

When the best the UN can muster for Ahmandine-JIHAD is to ASK him to be nice when he has the microphone, then the UN basically has no value in world politics.

---

"The View" caught King Arpege somewhat off guard when one asked him what plans he had if he lost in November. It seemed to put some reality in his perspective, and he said he would like to teach. Aside from some other teacher probably losing his/her job to make room for him, what parents would want anymore of his teachings influencing their child?

---

The drop in nation-wide SAT scores tied in with King Arpege's college loan program really brings to question King Arpege's desire to put, enslave, young people in high debt, and little future for jobs.

---

Online headline: "Debate Over Hitler's Birthplace" -- Why is this a question/debate? Ask Hawaii, it probably has a spare birth certificate authenticating.

---

From the "incredibly dumb and ignorant" department - Online HuffPost story: "Madonna brought her MDNA Tour to Washington, D.C. on Monday night, and added a bizarre dose of politics to the show. * "Y'all better vote for f--king Obama, OK? For better or for worse, all right? We have a black Muslim in the White House. Now that's some amazing s--t," she said. "It means there is hope in this country. And Obama is fighting for gay rights, so support the man, god------t." -- Madonna is OK with a "black Muslim in the White House" because "he's fighting for gay rights"? You can't make up how ignorant some people can be! Has Madonna read the Quran or any mid-East Muslim newspaper on how Muslims deal with homosexual and perversion?

---

Conservative politicians need to understand one stark reality. Trying to woo ignorant voters with logic is akin to talking calmly with your teenager about making good choices about things they do and people they want to date.

---

WRBL3 news story: "City employees unhappy at potential rise in healthcare costs" -- Well, there is an alternative...oust King Arpege and all DIM&DUMBERat politician from the local level up.

---

The City employees concern for their healthcare program costs is real, and it's costly. Of course, most taxpayers do not have such policies written for 3,000 +/- employees that are 2/3rds paid for by their employer (which takes that money out of taxpayer pockets to begin with). City employees would be better off, too, by not re-electing politicians who support Obamacare.

---

Conservative politicians need to understand one stark reality. Trying to woo ignorant voters with logic is akin to talking calmly with your teenager about making good choices about things they do and people they want to date.

---

L-E story: "NEW YORK - It's a campaign believed to be unprecedented in its size and aggressiveness: New York City is handing out the morning-after pill to girls as young as 14 at more than 50 public high schools (without parental notification or approval) * some doctors say more schools should follow New York's lead. * Emergency contraception is safe and effective 'if you use it in a timely fashion. It provides relief or solace to a young woman or man who has made a mistake but doesn't want to have to live with that mistake the rest of their lives," said Dr. Cora Breuner, a Seattle physician." -- Damn these DIM&DUMBERats! "don't want to have to live with that mistake the rest of their lives"? Even King Arpege said he wouldn't want his children to have to live with a mistake such as this. God makes no mistakes. Man makes the mistake of trying to circumvent God.

Online headline/story: "Obama Leads Romney Among NASCAR Fans * Barack Obama led Mitt Romney by 7 points, 49 percent to 42 percent, among the 202 voters who said they were fans of NASCAR, according to the survey, conducted by pollster John Zogby." -- Will the HuffPost spinmeisters stop at skewing figures of anything? Well, maybe this NASCAR is a different one than what we think the HP is talking about... maybe the "National Association of Sneaky Configurers and Revisionists".

---

Online headline/story: "America's Richest Cities: San Jose Tops List With Highest Median Household Income * The median income for a household in San Jose was $77,000, which is well above the national median of $51,000." -- Wait a minute! How can this be even close...the teachers in Chicago make more than this individually.

---

Some new guy is joining the NBC "Today" show this morning. Never heard of him, and not even sure of who he's replacing. Except for golf, I don't think I even watch anything on any of the NBC stations.

---

HuffPost headline: "CNN Pushes Back In Fight With State Department; Clinton Spokesman Tells Reporter To 'F--k- Off' -- That must been some sort of cat fight to see. This is the same CNN that kept its mouth shut in Saddam Hussein's Baghdad so the staff would continue to get invited to palace parties.

---

Why can non- pharmaceutical companies advertise/sell weight loss products as if they work, while if the products did work, the major drug companies would have them in FDA trials so they could get them approved for high mark-up prescription drugs?

---

It's amazing... a hundred plus of the world's leaders is in NYC this week, and King Arpege will welcome none of them personally. There are some that he needs to personally apologize to for his earlier apologies.

---

With a head's up from a fellow BCer - From the Washington Examiner: "The most important A better way to put it is that Barack Obama has proved he can't change Washington from the inside.lesson I've learned is that you can't change Washington from the inside," Barack Obama said in an interview Thursday on the Spanish-language Univision network. "You can only change it from the outside." -- Basic first... and first, you have to want to change Washington before you start. The only change King Arpege ever wanted in Washington was a 'change of address'.

---

Online story: "The Obama administration’s now-public list of Guantanamo Bay prisoners cleared for release or transfer to another country includes a former Usama bin Laden bodyguard, according to published documents and news reports. * The name Idris Ahmad Abdu Qadir Idris appears on the list of 55 detainees. He is believed to be an Al Qaeda member and was identified as a bin Laden bodyguard whose duty began shortly before the 9/11 terrorist attacks, according to Defense Department documents in 2008 made available by WikiLeaks. * He was brought to the Cuba prison camp in June 2008 and is considered by the Defense Department a “high” terror threat, the documents also show." -- So Osama bin Laden's body guard is going to be released from Gitmo. Guess King Arpege either thinks this guy has been fully rehabilitated or his recidivism will give King Arpege a pre-election boost as a SEALS Target.

---

Got even another request to enter the "Dinner with Barack" event. Since entries without donations are no longer accepted (all those Fast Food game lotteries have a 'no purchase necessary' option, but not King Arpege), I typed in $1.00. Got an error message "Please choose an amount higher than $3." Typed in $2.00; got same message. Typed in $3.00, and that was acceptable. What happened to the "Please choose an amount higher than $3" condition? The guy has absolutely no backbone. Canceled out rest of process.

---

Latest from barackobama.com: "When we launched this campaign, we decided not to take the easy money offered by Washington lobbyists and special interest political action committees." -- Who is this guy? Just above, he showed no backbone, but this claim is confirmation King Arpege is scruple-less as well.

---

I still do not understand why the City wants to move traditional downtown services out to the Columbus Square properties. Doing so will reduce daytime traffic to the downtown area the City is so involved in reviving. Downtown restaurants and retailers will feel the pinch on Day 1 once the Service Center opens.

---

The imagery conjured up by Romney's ad focusing on King Arpege's "prairie fire of debt" just keeps getting clearer. Hope Romney injects this phrase often in the debate series.
---

King Arpege has spent $70,000 on ads with him telling the Afghani people how America has a tradition of religious freedom. Haven't seen/heard them personally, but wonder whether he's speaking in Pashto, Dari, or Aramaic, because I can't imagine the Afghani people understanding a word of English.

---

L-E headline/story: "State's SAT scores rise 7 points, ending 5 year slide * The College Board's 2012 SAT reort released Monday puts the state's average at 1,452, which still lags behind the national average of 1,498." -- Remember when the SATs had two parts, both objective oriented to college preparatory skill (versus 3 parts with one being subjective - writing), and a top score of 1,600 combined? Even with the plus of having a written portion of the test to scale the test average up, this score averages less than a 500 out of 800 on each portion (484 per segment), and wouldn't have gotten you a second look at a major college. Now, combine this with how many Georgia students "qualify" for HOPE Scholarships based on a better than 3.0/3.75 GPA and you get an idea of how scoring in the public school classrooms has been dumbed down so ill-prepared students clog the freshman registration process.

---

Remember when the College Bowl season ended on January 1st, and everyone could get back to work on the next day? Now, with the new BCS format, the final bowl game will be January 15th, and the major bowls are becoming nothing but feeder games.

Monday, September 24, 2012

From the 'little known facts because mainstream media isn't reporting it' department - Online story: " AARP gave a thumbs-down to this year's Obama budget, citing Medicare cost shifts." -- Well, well, well... The AARP, who so blatantly pushed HELL-thScare because AARP had figured it would boost its supplementary health insurance program finally read it.

---

Online headline: "Bill Clinton Has 'No Earthly Idea' What Hillary's Next Move Will Be" -- Hmmm, my guess is he's hoping she'll move out.

---

Robert Gibbs, yeah, King Arpege's former White House spokesman/now Senior Campaign Manager, is out telling the world that Romney will have an advantage in the debates because he's had some experience recently. I agree that Romney will have an advantage but only because King Arpege does not have any programs or plans that responsible people want in their lives.

---

Well, we now know that King Arpege won't be playing East Lake in Atlanta prior to the election. The PGA had an American Flag on the pin at the 26th hole, and he wouldn't know how treat it without getting a penalty.

---

King Arpege said about Romney, "if you want to be president, you have to be president of all the people.' I agree, so King Arpege, show me you want to be my president, and why I should want 4 more years with you at the helm.
---

King Arpege is still trying to hold himself and Eric Holder above "Fast & Furious", and blame an obscure video for the death of our Ambassador. Mainstream media ignores the facts inspite of the wide spread knowledge now available. Maybe we need to put news editors/reporters on ballots and vet them election days, too.

---

King Arpege is finally admitting he is responsible for inflation. He's pushing his last "Dinner with Barack" event, but now I can no longer put my name in the pot for free, and donations must be higher than the $3.00 other events had as a minimum.

---

There is a flyer out for an event at Flat Rock Park on September 29th that includes a 21 and over event after other events during the day. Such age specific parties usually imply alcohol. Has this event been given permission to serve/allow/ alcohol in Flat Rock Park?
I asked this several weeks ago of Council, but no one has responded.
---
So the Columbus Water Works built a new water treatment facility at Ft Benning because of BRAC... Looking forward... that looks like a waste of money.
---
L-E headline: "LIBYA * 'Illegitimate' militias ordered to disband" -- You mean there are 'legitimate' militias there?
---
L-E headline: "Georgia mom thrilled her son won't be executed" -- Do we jump for glee with her like this headline seems to do, or do we turn to the mother of the victim who's thought probably tend to wish her son hadn't been 'executed' by the other mom's son?
---
L-E headline/story: "Players ask NFL to end refs' lockout * The players hint that the lockout could violate the collective bargaining agreement that ended their own lockout last year, citing a lack of a safe working environment." -- Gimme a break! This is just union jockeying. The refs don't stop unsafe situations; the refs just throw a penalty flag at them! As longs as players themselves put up with other players intentionally trying to maim each other, the players will never have a 'safe working environment'.

Online story: "SEATTLE -- A Seattle couple who collected welfare while living in a $1.2 million waterfront home are headed to prison. * A federal judge sentenced chiropractor David Silverstein and his longtime partner, Lyudmila Shimonova, to 18 months in prison Friday. * Prosecutors say Silverstein pretended he was Shimonova's landlord at a home on Lake Washington that she occupied with her two children. In reality, Silverstein was living there too. * Prosecutors say the couple received more than $1,200 each month in federal housing assistance.

David Silverstein Lyudmila Shimonova

"In this undated photo provided by the King County Dept. of Assessments, the $1.2 million waterfront home where prosecutors say a Seattle chiropractor and his wife lived while claiming welfare assistance is seen. The U.S. attorney's office filed a civil lawsuit Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, accusing David Silverstein and Lyudmila Shimonova of filing false claims. Prosecutors are demanding they pay back more than $135,000 in federal housing assistance since 2003 and are seeking tens of thousands of dollars" -- For 8 years....8 years, mind you, our government failed to properly investigate filings for assistance. This is what happens in DIM&DUMBERat super-majority situations.

New Jersey has instituted a 'no smile' policy for driver's license pictures. Guess that makes sense; other than the Giants and Chris Christie, New Jersians have little else to smile about.

HuffPost headline: "Obama Video Hits Mitt Romney On Tax Returns, Asks 'What Else Is He Hiding?'" -- DOH! King Arpege, Mr. Transparency himself... NOT, who has all his school, and travel data sealed, and had his HELL-thSCare Bull passed without reading it, is suggesting Mitt Romney has something to hide.. How gullible, how biased, how stupid can the mainstream media (and those who depend on it for their info) be?

---

Sports babes.... why do we have sports babes. One was trying so hard to act like she was on top things so she matter-of-factly mentioned that Vandy hadn't won "between the hedges" since 2006. Of course she had no clue Vandy had only played twice in Athens since then.

Missouri still hasn't gotten the hang of SEC football. Once again they showed up in ugly uniforms, the crowd laughed, and Mizzou got whipped.

The Chevy VOLT, the icon of King Arpege's economic prowess is currently running on an empty assembly line. Guess it's the same problem his campaign has... They are both out of gas and electricity.

---

Let's be realistic about the tax situation... is it fairer for the 47% or the other 53%?

---

One thing no voter should forget is that when King Arpege's WH press guy, Jay Carney, finally announced that the assault/death of our ambassador was indeed a planned act of terrorism, 20 minutes later, King Arpege was out telling another group that this point was still being investigated. Everything Carnegie says has been approved before hand by King Arpege.... promise'em anything but give'em Arpege....

---

Mulling a previous point... No matter what your politics are, the important aspect to cast your vote on is who is best able, most able, "to stop the bleeding'. With that in mind, there really is only one choice.... CHANGE!

---

L-E headline" "Home sales slipping * Market down nearly 7 percent amid election uncertainty" -- This is reality... not the mainstream headlines orchestrated by the White House which bragged that builder confidence was surging when it moved from 37% to 40%, and when it bragged that census info showed a small percent of young folks were moving from their parents homes. All that really indicated was that parents are being foreclosed on or downsizing and there's no room for their adult children anymore.

---

L-E headline: "EDUCATION * Newspaper reports complaints of cheating on tests glossed over" -- Ooops, my bad. Thought the L-E was admitting its part in the test sxcandals, but it was the AJC, again, bring such scandals to the forefront. Also, typically, our L-E placed this on page A9.

L-E story: "The unrelenting attack on teachers unions has some measureable consequences, too. This is evident from the fact that more than 90 percent of Chicago teachers voted to authorize the strike and that the union's governing body so mistrusted the administration of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel that it took two additional days to go over the proposed contract's fine print." -- Makes you wonder how Chicago's teachers can support Rahm Emanuel as their Mayor, King Arpege as their president, and former Chicago school superintendent Arne Duncan as Secretary of Education... but they do, and it's all about what that triumvirate gives them in tax dollar salaries/benefits. What a great education their children are getting..NOT!

---

I'm about to change my opinion of the quality of Karl Douglass' opinion. Last week's effort as well as this weeks have been rather..."weak". The fact few people showed up for the MCSD search team's 'dog and pony show' is that people don't believe their input will actually matter, and it really is the Board itself that needs to make the decision. We voters can dot the 'i's, and cross the "t"s in general elections. Hope most of the Board got the message after the last election. Me? I think the next Superintendent should be someone who needs 10 or more years before retirement.

---

It's nice to see there is a presentation of a Compliance Audit of the ARRA-funded "Stim-you-lie" projects. I've wondered where those green & hybrid $500,000.00 dollar buses are, and how spending twice as much as regular buses is going to be a fuel saver for American tax dollars.

---

From the City Manager's Agenda: Approval is requested to enter into a contract with Lauren Mescon to provide consulting services to the Muscogee County Adult Felony Drug Court." -- Meson, wife of CSU's Dr. Mescon listed herself as a volunteer for Headstart when she contributed to Mayor Obamalinson's election campaign, and now represents Rodan&Fields skincare products. Shouldn't someone closer associated with actual felony drug convictions be a better choice, and not so political?

Other than waste tax dollars and directing such to legal friends, why is there a feasibility study on high speed rail service from Columbus-to-Atlanta. Even flying to Atlanta costs more in time and dollars than driving there.... and that's a REALITY study.

Why is Council even considering sending a member to a NLC Congress of Cities and Exposition in Boston at an obviously first-class flight/5-star hotel cost of $2,700.00? I'm sure some sort of computer attendance is available.

L-E headline/story: "Food Pantry opens at new hours * St. Mary's Road UMC Pantry Ministry has new operating hours * In order to maximize the outreach in the community, service will only be given to those people living in zip codes 31903, 31905, 31906 and 31907." -- Hmmm, if people needing such help can provide an ID showing where they live, then what's the flap about not having IDs to vote?

---

There's an article on HuffPost listing "10 jobs that will make you fat" -- Travel agents, judges/attorneys, social worker, teacher, artist/designer/architect, Administrative Assistant, physician, police/firefighter, marketing/PR professionals, and IT professionals made the HP list. What's noticeably missing are journalists, cooks, union fat cats, and politicians.....and iPhone 5 buyers..

Online story: "PHILADELPHIA (AP) — There's a lot of trouble brewing next to a coffee house in a fast-developing neighborhood. * Ori Feibush, a real estate developer, has turned a trash-strewn city-owned lot — vacant for roughly 30 years — into a welcoming spot for customers of his month-old corner cafe, where they can enjoy their fair-trade organic java and pastries from local bakeries. * It may sound like a win-win, but the now-sparkling urban respite has angered city officials. They say Feibush shouldn't have done work on a lot he doesn't own or rent, shouldn't be using taxpayer-owned property to benefit his business and should have played by the rules. * (Feibush) spent at least $20,000 to remove 40 tons of trash and to add planters, tables and landscaping to it." -- Perfect examples of government arrogance, abuse, and megalomania. Guess the Philadelphia Council may be made up of former School Superintendents used to letting public property decay unceremoniously, then ask the taxpayers to demolish and rebuild something that would still be vibrant with a little maintenance along the way.

Do you suppose that drug sales reps do not discuss contraindications as they discuss new drugs with doctors? Listening to drug ads on TV, the list of side effects seem to outweigh any curative nature.

With the rash of student classroom disruptions making news at the L-E, I reflect back to my high school days and remember how effective a visit to a coach's office to meet the business end of a stout paddle kept classroom disruptions to a minimum.

It's mind boggling to think King Arpege could, would try to manipulate an act of war against our country by blaming a video while apologizing to the terrorists responsible at the same time. That's just WRONG!

Why does the L-E continue to actually use the name of the felonious former UGA running back? There is no reason to give "a blip' newspaper time or space.

The latest from barackobama.com: "Some grub with POTUS?" -- And those grubbing are the entitled, the media, and the wackos.

---

Latest from barackobama.com: "I've got to be honest, I don't care who wins this last Dinner with Barack. * All I care about is who wins on November 6th." -- This one statement has ever so captured King Arpege's persona, attitude, agenda, and concern for the country?

---

If Mayor Obamalinson is concerned about pedestrian safety in downtown, removing bicyclists from the sidewalks will be a lot more effective than changing traffic flow on 11th & 12th Streets.

---

While speaking to a Latino audience, King Arpege claims his biggest mistake was not getting 'immigration reform (read: amnesty)" passed his first term. Aside from the fact that the D&D Congress could have passed any thing he wanted during his first two years, why is 'immigration reform" (or lack of it) considered his biggest mistake when everyone, including us with Latino ancestry, are more effected by his bigger mistakes handling the economy, jobs, and foreign affairs?

---

So Monica Lewinsky is writing a tell-all about the Clinton years....bet there'll be a bidding war between Michael Moore and Oliver Stone for the movie rights, and HBO for the TV series rights.

---

It's a shame that we need more police, more judges, and more jail space, all at the same time, but why do it with a band-aid. Major surgery is needed to deter crime, and revamping the death sentence parameters is the starting point. Limiting all death sentence appeals to 2 or three years would be a start, but taking the convicted directly from the court room to a public gallows would be more effective as a deterrent, and to stop recidivism. Is that not simple or what?

---

King Arpege must use the TelePrompters for his speeches because what he says is much easy to be read than spoken from the heart.

---

He works for free so his savings income is taxed at the rate standard for all Americans and he still pays millions in income taxes, gives away millions of his own money in charitable donations, and the media and King Arpege's strike force make Romney out as a slackard. Romney has more right to challenge the current administration about not giving him, and every other taxpaying American their monies's worth! Romney is an American hero!

Do read the Commentary of Jan Jones & Alisha Thomas Morgan in todays editorial section of the Columbus (GA) Ledger-Enquirer (http://www.ledger-enquirer.com/). It undermines the MCSD argument that passing the "Charter School Amendment" on the November ballot will cut student funding for public schools.

L-E story: "Three Ft Benning soldiers assigned to the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division became American citizens during a Wednesday ceremony at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. * The three new citizens are Spc. Yamilet Terry of Mexico; Spc. Deno Harold of Guyana; and Spc. Ian Desengano of the Philipines. * Becoming a citizen has been Terry's goal since she was in training at the Nationbal Training Center at Fort Irwin, Calif., in March. * With the genearl election coming in November, Terry and the others are now eligible to vote for the first time. * "Being able to vote is very important to me, "Terry said, "I believe that every vote counts, and I want my vote to count," -- Hey King Arpege and Eric Holder... are you listening?! How can you make it easier for an illegal, a dead, or otherwise unidentified person cast a vote to counter Spc. Terry's and the other new citizens' first and subsequent votes!?

If the L-E is going to print Real Estate Transactions (and they should), then printing real estate sales should be the primary focus... unless, of course the housing market is so bad that none were closed in the past period.

Dueling L-E headline: "Campaign is in high gear, but White House is quiet" * Obama chides Congress for departing with much left" -- Boys and girls, can he say "hypocrite"? ---

Online headline/story: "Obama Admits His 'Biggest Failure' * President Barack Obama said on Thursday at a Univision News forum that he failed to pass immigration reform as promised, * By the end of the program, Obama had been hammered into submission on his immigration reform promise. Asked what he considers his biggest failure, he turned to Ramos. "Jorge, as you remind me, my biggest failure so far is we haven't gotten comprehensive immigration reform done yet," he said to laughter from the audience, adding it wasn't for lack of trying. * In his current term, he blamed the failure on Republicans in Congress, who he said he invited to partner with him on immigration reform." -- For two years, King Arpege got everything he wanted that fellow DIM&DUMBERats 'wanted", too. His immigration reform and Dream Act were not included. While King Arpege says this is his "biggest failure", he also admits that there are many others also, and most of those are things hid D&D Congress did pass.

Online headline: "Obama: 'I Can't Change Washington From The Inside'" -- Hmmm, never had a teacher, coach, friend or parent who hasn't defined "can't" as ' I don't want to try'.

What started out as a conservation, a restoration, of the Chattahoochee has turned into anything but that. Sad.
---
When it comes down to it, the November election is not about solving things instantly, it's about stopping the bleeding. First things first.
---
Whether it's Romney or King Arpege who wins in November, the opening line of his January acceptance speech will start out, "The problems I'm inheriting from the last 4 years are even worse that I thought they were."
---
L-E's "Thought for Today": "The crisis of yesterday is the joke of tomorrow." H.G. Wells, English auther (1866-1946) -- Wow! H.G. Wells was indeed a visionary... aside from his novels, he predicted the rise and fall of King Arpege.

The more I think about it, the more upset I am that Chick-fil-A would sign a document with any political organization saying it would cease anything. That document will be waved under every other Christian supporting organization with a nanny-nanny-poo-poo chant of "you're next".

Why would Council entertain organizations not carrying $1,000,000.00 in liability insurance to stage events on public property. My business is required to carry such, and it's only $400.00 annually.

L-E story: "Birmingham, Ala- The Mexican government is reviewing a labor union's complaint that Alabama's crackdown on illegal aliens violates an international trade agreement." -- Good Grief! Has it gotten so bad that no country respects the US border since King Arpege's 'apology tour? First Mexico should investigate itself as to why so many Mexicans want to abandon Mexico, then US labor unions should be investigated for allowing illegal aliens to join.
---
A L-E reader/Mayor Obamalinson supporter posted online that to alleviate danger to children of St Luke crossing 11th Street with two-way traffic, that St Luke should build a tunnel under it. Yeah, that'll work...all St Luke would need to do is open up the manholes and let the kids cross in the safety of the combined sewers.

Why is King Arpege upset at a video that ridiculed Mohammed? We know he wouldn't be upset at an art depiction of Jesus smeared with urine and excrement?

---

Online story: "A Chicago-based lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) advocacy group reports that the restaurant chain -- which was at the epicenter of a media firestorm this summer after its president confirmed his company's anti-gay stance -- has agreed to cease donations to right-wing groups that oppose same-sex marriage." -- What's "anti-gay" about supporting traditional marriage? The Republican Party had better define themselves before some California judge declares them a 'right wing group' and not eligible for Chick-fil-A owners' donations.

---

Online story: "Can someone who gets expelled from the Illinois House turn that embarrassment into a political advantage? * Sure looks that way for former state Rep. Derrick Smith. * Smith (D-Chicago) is blowing away his third-party opponent in a new poll of West Side voters despite being under federal indictment for allegedly accepting a $7,000 cash bribe." -- "Can someone who gets expelled from the Illinois House turn that embarrassment into a political advantage?"? DOH... This is Chicago politics, and it's how things are done there, and carried forward when Chicago politicians head to Washington . Bribe voters with entitlements, bribe donors with set-asides, and bribe other politicians with earmarks.

---

Speaking of Chicago politics, terrorists are taking advantage of the chaos in the Mid-East. It's as though they read a page out of the Rahm Emanuel political playbook to never let a chaos be wasted.
---

Online story: "WASHINGTON — Nearly 6 million Americans – significantly more than first estimated -- will face a tax penalty under President Barack Obama's health overhaul for not getting insurance, congressional analysts said Wednesday. Most would be in the middle class. * That's still only a sliver of the population, given that more than 150 million people currently are covered by employer plans. Nonetheless, in his first campaign for the White House, Obama pledged not to raise taxes on individuals making less than $200,000 a year and couples making less than $250,000." -- These are not recently discovered figures, and the figures will escalate as it goes into effect and more employers drop internal healthcare programs. This just amplifies the amount of deceit every King Arpege has buried in his every promise.

---

Online story: A mother of a Chicago student was quoted, "At first I was concerned that it would drag on, but I was confident that the teachers were going to hold out and that (the school board) was going to try to work with them and get them what they needed," she (Kimberly Watson) said." -- "(the school board) was going to get them what they needed"? The strike was not about "need", it was about "wants and greed". School Boards are not there to represent teachers, they are empowered to represent taxpayers.

---

Redistribution of wealth... If I want to give away my earnings/savings, I can decide that for myself. I can check out the sources and evaluate the needs and efficiences of such a recipient. The government has no right to confiscate my monies just to distribute it differently.
---

Just read about Bill Gates and his generosity, and had to scratch my head at his enigmatic political leanings. He and his foundation have donated $28 billion in gifts to fund projects and programs around the world, but please note, he does not donate that money to the government to let the government decide where it is distributed.

Online story: "New York's movie theater owners are gearing up for war over the city's ban of large sugary drinks. *Theater owners will likely sue the city rather than stop selling sweetened drinks larger than 16 ounces * Robert Sunshine, executive director of the National Association of Theatre Owners' New York chapter Sunshine hinted that if theaters were forced to comply with the ban, prices would have to go up elsewhere. If the ban were passed, "somewhere along the line profit will have to be made up," Sunshine stated. “It’s going to have a tremendous impact.” * His comments leave us wondering: Is Gotham about to face $20+ movie tickets? The average ticket price nationwide is around $8, but in New York it's far higher. A 3D film in Manhattan can cost $19.50." -- It would be poetic justice if Hollywood held a premier for a movie there, and no one showed up...

WRBL3 headline: "Auburn Looks to Run on LSU" -- Probably true... but in what direction?

---

When asked by David Letterman about who "we" owed our debt to, King Arpege said we owed some of it to ourselves. Say, Isn't that sorta like check kiting?

---

Romney ad: President Obama's spending habits have created a “prairie fire” of debt - This undoubtedly is the best analogy I've heard of imaging King Arpege's record, and even DIM&DUMBERats will not be able to forget such imagery if Romney and SuperPacs push it in every ad.

---

From the "what about" department - What happened to the law that would prohibit TV stations from increasing the volume during commercials?

The latest from barackobama.com: "Growing up, my classmates and I started every day with a ritual: We'd stand up, put our right hand over our hearts, and say the Pledge of Allegiance. * To me, that gesture was a promise. A promise to be involved and engaged in this country's future. A promise to work for liberty and justice -- and for affordable education, health care, and equality -- for all. --

"To me, that gesture was a promise" -- And we know how King Arpege feels about promises...

From the "where's the logic" department - L-E headline/story about redesigning the redesign of downtown: "Design firm proposes greener pedestrian-friendly downtown * the paln includes.....restoring two-way traffic to 11th and 12th streets to make them pedestrian-friendly" -- Oh.... there's been a law against two-way pedestrian traffic? I kind of doubt making pedestrians revert back to looking both way before crossing will make it any safer, but until you get bicyclists off the sidewalks, no pedestrian will be safe.

L-E story:

The MCSD is going to address this? Wasn't to long ago the MCSD took a pass on discipline when it allowed a Hardaway student who threatened to kill a teacher was let back in to the school AND HER CLASS!
