Somebody forgot to tell Missouri that the SEC has a dress code. You can't win wearing ugly uniforms.
---

While the thought of Florida getting beat was entertaining, in the long run, it wad best that the Aggies learned you have to earn your respect in the SEC.

Wonder if the Penn State players are going to snip the names off their jerseys before getting back on a field next week.

From a fellow BCer:

Paradoxical Quote of The Day From Ben Stein:

"Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured... but not everyone must prove they are a citizen."
Now add this, "Many of those who refuse, or are unable, to prove they are citizens will receive free insurance paid for by those who are forced to buy insurance because they are citizens."

Why is XpotUS Clinton seemingly stumping for King Arpege? All I can think of is that he wants Arpege in again to screw up any chance of a D&D getting elected a president again. That way, Hillary won't get to be a president like him.

---

When you look at the video of the thrice-times denial of God at the DIM&DUMBERat Convention, the highlighted nay-sayer was standing next to a woman holding a "Arab-American for Obama" sign. Muslim....

---

For a Pro-King Arpege campaign event at the University of Iowa campus, officials unfurled a giant US Flag.... On the ground! Guess they wanted to make it easier for King Arpege and hid supporters to wipe their feet. So much for our universities being places of higher learning.... it's more like they're places to learn 'high'. Hurry November!

---

So Tyler Perry is bring his "Madea Gets A Job" tour to town. Sounds like a politician with a plan. Tyler Perry for President and DIM&DUMBERat Party Chief!
---
From a fellow BCer:
Floats in a German parade

So much for the stature of DIM&DUMBERat presidents abroad.
---
Online news story: "The Washington Times reports that nine hotels in the area have had issues with the pesky critters (bed bugs), with a number of complaints about their presence in the past year. Charlotte ranks 33rd among America's most-infested bed bug cities, while Tampa, where the Republican National Convention was held last week, didn't make the top 50." -- Hmmm, Charlottes ranked # 33 among America's worst infected cities BEFORE the DIM&DUMBERats arrived en masse; can we now assume Charlotte is now Number 1!
---
From the 'government futility' department - L-E headline: "Ala. law requires ignition locks for DUI offenders" -- For $5.00 (or less), a drunken driver can get a sober passerby to blow into the breathalyzer, and the car will start; then what?
---
from the "DOH" department - L-E story: "At least three people were charged with commercial gambling after the Columbus Police Metro Drug Task Force raided a business off South Lumpkin Road Friday night. * The suspects were identified as C___ L___, L___ V_____ and M____ H____. All are charged with commercial gambling and keeping a place of gambling. Case details were not available Saturday. - Ben Wright" -- "Case details were not available Saturday"? Once again, Ben Wright demonstrates why he doesn't use his full name in a byline, Hasn't Ben Wright. He had names, charges and location.. what are those?
---
From L-E's "Today in History": "In 1957, President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed the first civil rights bill to pass Congress since the Reconstruction." -- Guess we better get the word out, and fast, that Eisenhower was a Republican, because I'm pretty sure our schools will demand that their next history textbooks be amended to show Eisenhower was a Democrat.

Noticed that the council is requested to approve the purchase and installation of 36 Eagle Eye Model 200 Digital In-Car Video systems with 2 32Gb SD cards for $117,000.00 ($ 3,250.00 each). Looking up this model finds that the resolution has a maximum of 640x480 pixels which resorts back to mid-1990's technology, 32Gb SD cards which can be obtained for under $30.00 apiece (under $20.00 at a couple of places), and the installation is akin to a car radio expense. Further internet exploration even found one of these Eagle Eye Model 200 units on ebay for $80.00. I support providing great equipment for out Public Safety employees protection, but $3,250.00 per unit seems way out of line for this technology.
---
Council is also requested to approve state of the art wireless Court stenographer machines at over $5,000.00 each. In this day of state of the art video recorders, wireless and portable printers, and voice recognition software, why are we even using stenographers and transcriber machines? Isn't buying such akin to buying a top of the line sliderule instead of a graphing calculator? Or a top of the line buggy whip to keep in the car?

Voyager 1 is about to leave our solar system... leave our solar system! It's 11.3 BILLION miles from the sun as we speak. It's been going for 35 years. That's traveling at 322, 857,143 miles per year. I'd say that this is probaly the best example ever of something the government has done that actually still works efficiently. No wonder King Arpege wanted to shut down NASA.
---
So the L-E associates Auburn's loss to 'dismal' play. Could it be simpler than that....say, Mississippi State wore AU out! Ding Dong Dammit!
---
This will be added a lot until the election.. you cannot forget this aspect of King Arpege's speech:

So President Obama told us that, " You didn’t elect me to tell you what you wanted to hear. You elected me to tell you the truth." Then he went on to explain his college education plan:
· Cut the growth of college tuition in half over the next 10 years
· Recruit 100,000 math and science teachers over the next 10 years
· Train two million workers for real jobs at community colleges --

This has the reality factor of a 21st Century Mother Goose story written for a remake of the Twilight Zone!
