Online headline: "Joe Arpaio Investigation Closed; No Federal Charges Will Be Filed Against Him" -- Now, justice would be complete if Eric Holder has to spend next summer wearing pink boxers and living in tent city.

---

WTVM9 news: "Alabama town re-elects dead woman as mayor" -- While we can sympathize with her family, purging the DIM&DUMBERat voting list might be in order.

---

Did you know there is a Guinness Record for kicking stuff off other people's heads? Some gal kicked footballs off of 43 men's heads in one minute. Maybe it's time for Guinness to put restrictions on what it will consider a record's category.

Mitt Romney has hit the ground running in New Orleans while King Arpege was out running his mouth.

---

Jeb Bush showed why Florida grew under his governorship, and why Romney will put him in charge of something important, and it will get done and make us all proud.

---

Who will represent America best as our First Lady... someone who only became proud of America after her husband got elected, or a First Lady who has always been proud of her country and husband?

---

Looks like I made a good call a few months ago. Now Randy Jackson is leaving American Idol, leaving only Mariah Carey on board. As previously suggested, the shows new name should become "American Idle'

Ads run by the American Academy of Dermatology condemning the use of indoor tanning salons may get them in trouble with King Arpege. Surely the ads have dampened the use of those facilities, and cut into the racial specific 10% federal tax revenues.

---

HuffPost headline: "Al Gore Proposes Sweeping Reform Of Electoral System" -- What is it with DIM&DUMBERats that they cannot accept the wisdom of our forefathers' vision to keep our U.S. Constitution working for all Americans!
---
Debbie Wasserman Schultz, DNC chairperson, said the Republican convention was devoid of facts and truths. Question: How the hell would she know what either aspect is?
---
The more I hear Wasserman Schultz open her mouth, I am convinced she is a descendant of Hogan's Heroes' Sgt Schultz... she knows "nothing".

Online story: "A public university in Colorado may have violated state law by offering students course credit if they volunteered with President Obama’s re-election campaign. A blog post on the Adams State University website billed the opportunity as a “12 week long organizing internship for the Obama Campaign.” * Both the blog post and the course are now gone. The course was canceled due to lack of interest, according to the university." -- "canceled due to lack of interest". What an appropriate twist in Act 2 of the King Arpege saga.
---
Any way you see it, conservative commentators were more compassionate of Clint Eastwood's GOP Convention appearance than any other media source. Who are the real bigots and haters.....
---
Looking back, maybe King Arpege didn't campaign on "Hope and Change". Maybe he misread his TelePrompTer when it flashed up "Dope and Chains" and it just sounded that way.
---
HuffPost story: "Fox News' Sally Kohn: Paul Ryan's RNC Speech 'Was Attempt To Set World Record For Blatant Lies' * Kohn, who describes herself as a "progressive voice on Fox News," wrote in her Thursday column that though Ryan came off as likable during his speech, his misrepresentations and omissions "caused a much larger problem for himself and his running mate." -- Anybody who describes him/herself as a 'progressive voice' on any network is in denial about how far left she/he is. As for Fox contributors, Kohn obviously makes Juan Williams and Alan Colmes look moderate, and Williams was considered too conservative for CNN when Fox saved his career.

Looking at the recent photos of whiewater activity on the Chattahoochee, it's quite evident that GA Power is cooperating closely to send excess water flow down through the course. What's going to happen when events are scheduled and there are resident/business restrictions in effect by Columbus Water Works for drought conditions? It will be mighty hard for CWW to advocate community compliance if GA Power is loosening up the water flow for recreational purposes.

The times...according to Biden, are " a chaining". I can remember when $200.00 was a good weekly salary, would cover my monthly mortgage/tax/insurance, or would be a donation of importance to any politician. This week, $200.00 net didn't cover the gas I out in my family vehicles.
---
Once again, the pirating of Wisconsin's state motto, "FORWARD" by King Arpege's campaign strategists brings back another Biden gaffe... plagiarism, but who's really surprised? When was the last time you heard an original thought come out of the Arpege/Biden effort that was actually not from the Communist Manifesto?
---
Earlier this week, I passed on a poster/flyer that was inviting folks to a all day party at Flat Rock on the 29th of September. After publishing a schedule of event happenings, it ends with a note that there will be an "21" party after the events. A "21" party is usually implying that there will be alcohol served. According to Mayor Obamalinson, it is permissible if the City Manager or Council gives permission. She didn't respond as to whether either entity has done so. Make a few calls and see if you can get an answer. We may want to have a beer blast at Lakebottom so having a precedent will be good!
---
L-E headline: "Kyle Carter Arrested * He is the second high-profile Columbus athlete to be arrested this summer in Athens. Former Carver High running back Isaiah Crowell was kicked off Georgia's football team in late June after being arrested on charges of carrying a weapon in a school zone - the same charge as Carter - and having an altered ID mark, both felonies." -- Surely the L-E is not comparing these two events as equal charges. There's not a baseball player in Columbus who doesn't have a baseball bat in his bedroom, and I suggest that is the case of the dorm rooms of every position baseball player in college. I have a baseball bat in my business office. Dang... I better sneak it out today because it is on college property! Wonder if I need to get a 'carry license' to take it to my car?
---
L-E's "Thought for Today": "The most dangerous of all falsehoods is a slightly distorted truth," - Georg Christoph Lichtenberg, German scientist (1742-1799) -- Christoph must have been the campaign manager for the first DIM&DUMBERat politician. Of course, now, our children's school textbooks are the worst of sources for distorted truth.
---
Columbus was the site of a rather stupidly planned protest yesterday. Some 100-150 activists are traveling from somewhere in Mexico to Washington, D.C. to raise awareness of the number of lives lost in the war on drugs. Wouldn't the 'caravan' be better off going to Mexico City and complaining to someone who can actually do something in Mexico? Well, i guess they do have a point in going to Washington... maybe they can get King Arpege and Eric Holder to restart "Fast & Furious 2" only this time send guns to the citizens so they can fight back!
---
L-E headline: "Bernanke says fed can do more * Unclear what action will be taken and when" -- DOH! For sure, the Fed cannot do less than it has done so far, but the best thing would be to simply get out of the way!
---
One thing for sure, Clint Eastwood is a lot more lucid than Warren Buffet. Buffet actually supports King Arpege's assertion he doesn't pay enough in taxes.
