HuffPost headline: "Obama Widens Lead In CNN National Poll" -- CNN poll? By
the time November gets here, polls by CNN will have King Arpege getting 100% of
the vote. Remember, CNN Baghdad was the network that didn't report Saddam
Hussein's atrocities in fear that the executives would not get invited to
Hussein's parties.

Online headline/story: "Jay Leno Volunteers For 50 Percent Pay Cut As NBC
Slashes 'Tonight Show' Budget * After the cut, Leno's new salary will account
for $15 million" -- This'll chap King Arpege... now Leno will still be able to
talk about Arpege but pay less in 'homage' to support Arpege's tax needs.

From the 'I didn't think I could get more disgusted' department - Online
headline/story: "Nick Cassavetes Says Incest Isn't A Big Deal, Compares It To
Gay Marriage & Asks 'Who Gives A Damn?' * Director Nick Cassavetes ("The
Notebook," "Alpha Dog") debuted his controversial new movie this weekend, but
his comments in an interview with TheWrap may well out-shine the project
itself. * "Yellow" bowed at the Toronto International Film Festival. The movie
revolves around Mary, the main character played by Cassavetes' ex-wife Heather
Wahlquist. Mary visits her brother in prison, and the two are, as The Wrap's
Sharon Waxman notes, engaged in a "love affair." -- I give a DAMN! Add
Cassavetes and Wahlquist to the boycott list.

Online story: "Serena Vidal, the mother of a 3-year-old boy, is enraged
after the bus ride home from his first day of school took five hours -- without
stops for food or bathroom breaks, the New York Daily News reports. "
-- Wait a minute! I can sympathize with any mother who's upset about the length
of time a bus ride took for a child, BUT... BUT what mother puts a 3 year old,
much less an autistic 3 year old on a bus unattended! This is clearly a case of
child abuse...

Best bumpersticker I've seen in a while in Columbus:
---
From the 'this headline needs some more clarifying work done' department -
Online headline: "Pussy Riot Fest Held In Russia Despite Pressure". -- I guess
the HuffPost will blame this on BUSH, too.
---
Online headline: "9 Bizarre Products Released In 2012" -- Wrong! There are
10 bizarre products released this year... the nine in the article plus "Re-elect
Obama" signs etc.

Letter to Council following Mike Owen column yesterday:
For over 3 years I tried to tickle y'all into acting on the bicycle problem
in the business district, specifically on Broadway, but it is a problem
elsewhere as well. This could have been remedied rather painlessly, but it's
gotten to where others affected by it brought in the L-E which has presented
y'all with a PR problem as well.
It's much easier to just do the right things in the planning stages and at
first notice than to put them off until the mole hill has become a
mountain.
Whether you put up signs is a choice, but even temporary signs for a 6-to-9
month period will acclimate most riders, but a permanent sign outside of the
various bicycle shops will keep this in focus better.
Another suggestion would be to require a one time bicycle registration fee
and bicycle 'drivers' test. Bicycle vehicle ID numbers and descriptions would be
on hand for theft recovery, and the test would require 100% grades on road
etiquette and driving laws. This could be done at point of sale for new bikes,
and older ones could go to those shops, or perhaps the library to register/test.
A better informed bicycler is a safer bicycler. Don't forget, a one-time
fee would go into the City coffers.
Lots of problems will be solved this way.
Anyway, just a reminder that there are others besides me watching
y'all.

AH Eric Holder says he's waiting on the Inspector General's
"Fast&Furious" report before deciding on who's responsible. Gimme a break,
Holder is just waiting to see how much the Inspector General has on
him.

In spite of the Chicago Teachers'Union strike closing the schools, the
Chicago School System is opening the schools to feed students breakfast and
lunch, and free daycare. This just spotlights the loss of focus on what public
schools should be concentrating on.

There is "Hope' and "Change" in the air. Michael Goodwin, Washington Post
columnist and Obama 2008 voter has criticized the DIM&DUMBERat Convention
for it's message of despair, entitlement, denouncement. As Mel Allen would say,
"How about that."

Joe Biden is treading in dangerous waters. King Arpege sent him into a
biker bar to campaign. With Biden's history of gagged, the wrong one in a biker
bar would make it easy to replace him with Hillary.

From the 'you want see this on CNN' department - Centreville, VA had a
welcome committee for the King Arpege caravan:

Liberal's L-E "soundoff": "Paul Ryan's budget would cause elderly to pay
$6,500 more for the same care. Higher education, technical schools, roads,
bridges, and veterans' care get defunded. But $3 trillion more in tax cuts for
the wealthiest". -- The brand of kool-aid King Arpege distributes should be
banned!

Usually, this repeat item would come at the end, but today it need to
follow the about insaneness:
So President
Obama told us that, " You didn’t elect me to tell you what you wanted to hear.
You elected me to tell you the truth." Then he went on to explain his college
education plan:
· Cut the growth of college tuition in half over the next 10 years
· Recruit 100,000 math and science teachers over the next 10 years
· Train two million workers for real jobs at community colleges -- This has the reality factor of a 21st Century Mother Goose story written for a remake of the Twilight Zone!

Did you read
the average salary of Chicago teachers was $76,000...that's $400.00 per working
day, $2,000.00 per week. That doesn't include healthcare or pensions. Can you
imagine the salaries/perks of the administration? next I want to hear ablout how
much higher Chicago students do on their SATs/ACTs...oh.. the same or
worse...and the teachers want raises?

L-E
headline/story: "Judge rules Navy can train near endangered whales * The
Southern Environmental Law Center sued the Navy in 2010, saying the range would
threaten right whales" -- Bet that if they had been 'left whales', the judge
would have ruled for them.

After beating Auburn last week, Mississippi State will get a test at
Troy this weekend.
---
L-E
headline: "Ford to add 1,200 workers at Detroit-area plant" -- Hey King Arpege,
you didn't build that! Ford didn't ask for or get the STIM-U-LIE money like GM
and Chrysler.
