That comes out to $122,500 per employee!. Assuming that the system is efficient and that there are more 'Indians than Chiefs' (I know, both are a stretch), then there is definitely a top heavy administrative cost. In addition, just the books my daughter had to have for this semester at UGA were over $500.00 ($215 for one French book), and student fees were nearly $1,100.
