How 'bout them "eph-lants"!
---
At halftime...28-0 is the score, but it could easily be 42-0. I watched the
second half on "mute", Musberger is a hack.
---
Final score was 42-14, but the game wasn't that close.
---
The SEC was 6 & 3 during this years bowl season, but could easily been
8 & 1 ( the '1' being Mississippi State who didn't bother to show up when it
was announced Northwestern was the opponent).
---
Notre Dame might have had a tough time even being 'bowl eligible' if it
played in the SEC.
---
Hmmm... Te'o might have had a tough time finding a SEC team that could have
used him as a starter.
---
I think the award committee should revoke the one they gave Te'o and give
it to Jarvis.
---
Bear Bryant must have been rolling over in his grave. He's concerned that
no one remembers him anymore.
---
Do you reckon this year's super bowl match up will have as large a TV
audience as the Alabama-Notre Same game? First half, anyway.. there'll be Super
Bowl watchers who stay up just watch the commercials in the second half.
---
Someone's finally acknowledged the 800 pound gorilla in the classroom. The
programs to boost self-esteem have created kids who make worse grades than
before but the kids feel good about them.
---
Online headline: "TV Star Announces He's Gay " -- An actor named Matt
Dallas has announced his engagement to another guy. Dallas played the lead in a
short lived series called "Kyle XY" on, you guessed it, ABC Family. Guess the
show will be renamed "Kyle YY" for syndication.
---
Rather than grimace at facing worldly troubles on your own, take the "I'm"
out of grimace and find 'grace'.
---
Government EBT "benefits cards" are accepted in ATMs I'm porn shops, strip
joints, and liquor stores. How can the government keep asking us to keep paying
for people who don't know how to help themselves?
---
pot-US Obluster has just baited his trap for Republicans. By nominating
former Republican candidates as Defense and CIA heads, pot-US Obluster has
diverted all media focus away from his failed economy program and spending cuts
for the next two months.
---
Liberals are trying to expand their base. Now it seems that liberals are
attempting to normalize pedophilia by saying it's basically just another area of
sexual orientation rather than a perversion. Liberals are claiming young girls
are frustrated because they can't experience adult pleasures when they become
curious/aware of them. Guess we better get prepared for an onslaught of new girl
sex toys...such as "Rugrat vibrators" or "Ken & Barbie
Handcuffs".
---
---
Now that there's been a dent, a major dent, put into the sanctimony of
traditional marriage, now the liberals are trying to make pedophilia an
acceptable alternative sexual orientation; can the libs not be working on doing
the same for incest as we speak?
---
There's got to be a joke in here somewhere, but liberals will be offended
if you find it. Two comedians are starting a Church of Atheism in London. The
first question is "To whom do they pray"? The second one is "can they claim a
religious tax exemption"?
---
---
Since it's that time of the year, wonder if the City payroll office is
adding the value of any free tickets employees received to events at the Civic
Center into their W-2 forms?
---
So tax refunds can be issued by free debit cards... Guess that means the
ACLU will have to choose whether to file a suit against the government for
discriminating against those who pay taxes, or for publicly labeling recipients
as slackers.
---
Online headline: "(Sen.) David Vitter: Harry Reid 'An Idiot' For Comparing
Sandy To Katrina" -- I thought Vitter was smarter than this... if Vitter has
just noticed what most voters have accepted about Reid for years, maybe LA needs
to replace Vitter.
---
Another from the "what are we paying this guy for" department - Online
story: "OSG Ship Management Inc., which is the parent company that owns the
Marshall Islands-registered ship, said the vessel hit an underwater portion of
the massive (Golden Gate)bridge structure. * Investigators had not yet
determined the cause of the crash. * "There's always the human factor," Coast
Guard Lt. Cmdr. Shawn Lansing said. "That is again what we'll look into and see
whether, in fact, it was a human error or something else and take that into
consideration in the development of future regulation." -- "had not yet
determined the cause"? "was it human error or something else"? What does this
gut think happened... does he think the bridge footing snuck up on the ship and
tried to tackle it?
---
Online headline: "Supreme Court Announces Details On Gay Marriage" -- Whoa!
Do we really want 'details'?
---
So Hillary's back on the job... I do believe that she should have stopped by the Congressional hearing...first!
So Hillary's back on the job... I do believe that she should have stopped by the Congressional hearing...first!

Just a point of interest concerning the teen arrested for planning to make
bombs.. did I read correctly that the authorities found no explosive compounds
or detonators? Did I read that he had taken some 'chaw' cans and filled them
with pellets? Sounds more like the kid made some 'rattles', and he was arrested
for his 'thoughts'. This is not the same America I grew up in.
---
Liberal's L-E "soundoff": "A police officer with an AK-47 is acceptable. A
common citizen with an AK-047 is a gun nut, period." -- Hmmm, I'm "OK" with then
assessment about our police force, but I don't know of a 'common citizen'
possessing such. The guy must be thinking about his illegal alien drug provider
who got his AK-47 from the US Attorney General.
---
An L-E story cites prescription drug growth in 2011 was 2.9 %. Couldn't
tell that by my experiences. My blood pressure medicine went from $92-$108.00 in
2011, and is now $132.00 at the end of 2012. The L-e and pot-US Obluster will
stick to their 'numbers' as the truth doesn't fit.
---
L-E headline: " U.S. could delay tax refunds if debt ceiling deal fails" --
Wait a minute! At best, the 'debt ceiling' battle want be fully engaged until 2
more months.... any projected delay for refunds is just White House
propaganda.
---
L-E story: "The U.S. Supreme Court won't overturn a GA law banning firearms
in churches and other places of worship." Hmmm, now I guess only sinners will be
going to churches, and the 'first stone throwers' will know they are unarmed.
---
Sorry to hear about Harvey Lumber Company's ills, and the L-E Foreclosure
Section was 14 pages (plus another 1/2 page in section B); guess this is a more
accurate assessment of the housing market than what pot-US Obluster's
spinmeisters claim.
