Online headline: "Obama's Half-Brother To Run For Office" -- Can we swap... with a half-brother, we might get the Obama who is only half-bad.

---

Today's Tuesday... Something is suppose to happen ... Oh yeah, Bleep Veep Biden is going to tell pot-US Obluster something and Lance Armstrong is going to tell Oprah something. Trouble is, we know what they are going to say, and truth is that nothing they say will be new or meaningful.

---

Online headline: "Report: Lance Armstrong Breaks Silence Ahead Of Anticipated Interview" -- Guess Armstrong knew no one cared any longer. BTW, did anyone of you watch or know what he said?

---

There was a bit of conflictory info from the car industry today. Government Motor's Cadillac ATS was announced as the "Car of the Year". Shortly after that, it was announced that Toyota had sold more cars than GM. Sounds like Toyota has the car of the year.

---

pot-US Obluster is a recurring nightmare. The debt ceiling is not about what he can spend; it's about how much of our future he can borrow to spend today. I'd bet neither Visa nor MasterCard would raise his limit, why should Congress?

---

Hummmm, how poetic is it that Mr Global Warming, Algore, resides in California where the temperatures reached down below 10°, while we are running our ACs to keep our homes comfortable at night?

---

You know, government has done so much to keep parents from being able to talk to their young adult children's college teachers and physicians, so how can government make mental illness diagnoses available to gun sellers?

---

There needs to be an update to the Kingston Trio's "The Merry Minuette". Monday morning Michigan people lined up all night to get applications for freebie vouchers for free housing, and when the office opened, they rushed the doors causing the office to shut down. Wonder if they would have stayed up all night to get a job application?

---

Following yesterday's item RE: Gang levels/killings in Chicago, a fellow BC responded: Another pot-US Obluster connection to the organized gangs society of Chicago... pot-US was a gang member himself growing up, and still connected to dissidents from America's past.

---

Cass Sunstein, pot-US Obluster's Tsar of Regulationms, the guy that was going to weed through existing regulations and eliminate unnecessary and unproductive regulations, has left for Harvard, BUT left us with nearly 8% MORE regulations than when he started.

---

That NY newspaper that exposed the homes of legally empowered gun owners by exercising its freedom of the press now thinks its OK to remain silent about exposing fine citizens to criminals. Maybe the US Constitution SHOULD be rewritten and give us Freedom FROM the Press!

---

Online headline: "Obama Issues Stern Warning On Debt Ceiling" -- Oooooooo, maybe pot-US Obluster will take his ball and go home.....

---

Online headline: "New York Gun Control: Cuomo, Legislative Leaders Reach Tentative Deal On Assault Weapons, Magazines" -- Yeah! And maybe Cuomo will hand deliver that edict to every gang leader, felon, and mentally ill psycho in NY, and they all will pinkie-swear to obey it... yeah, right. He better be packing when he does that.

---

WRBL3 story: "Gus Malzahn and the Auburn University football team appears poised to sign one of the country’s top junior college recruits in Nick Marshall. * Marshall, a former Wilcox County standout, spent a year at Georgia before being dismissed for stealing money from teammates’ dorm rooms." -- Hmmm, I'll bet the AU huddles will include holding hands again so everyone will know where Marshall's hands are.

---

Another WRBL3 headline: "City of Auburn seeks public input about federal funds" -- Guess the Council wants to ask the taxpayers where they want their money wasted.

---

And another WRBL3 story: "Muscogee County is taking action to ensure safety is a number one priority in local schools." -- Oh, the 'action' part was put off for another 2 months or so. yada yada yada

---

Oh, if the MCSD does come up with a new security plan, I hope it isn't based on part time employees driving MCSD trucks on sidewalks at 6:35 AM on Saturdays.

---

L-E headline: "Board hires new firm in search for superintendent" -- "New? It's the same one that brought us Phillips (the first time) and Andrews (who the board could have knocked on her door and saved the headhunter fee). Guess it's true, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

---

The times, they are a changin'.... GM wins a 'Car of the Year' award for a compact car. Where is the parade float Cadillac I would buy?

---

BCer "Chuck" nailed it today...media has done something that Notre Dame couldn't... it has sacked the Alabama quarterback.

---

Liberal's L-E "soundoff": "I wish I could find 3 good employees. I would surely hire them, because this economy is fixing to take off, buddy" -- Obviously, this guy has never made a payroll, never put a benefits package together, never made a business plan, and probably never been in a management position at any job he's had. Either that, or he works for the government and thinks, no 'feels' he has all the answers.

---

Another lib's L-E "soundoff": "Do you think that a Christian is really a Christian if he damns people to hell? I don’t recall Jesus doing much of that sort of thing" -- Non/Pseudo-Christians "know" they have the answers....good luck with that. For a starter to said group, start here with Micah 6:8 - "He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." What's ironic, is that even true Christians will fall, will stumble with this, but true Christians know that God, Jesus, grants mercy for those who believe in Him, and keep trying to reach the narrow path laid out to follow.

---

L-E headline: "Obama: Proposals to combat gun violence to be unveiled this week " -- Guess we should consider this "an unveiled threat"?

---

Drove on the Weracoba peanut shaped roundabout a few days ago. Whatta waste of money! If Mayor Obamalinson had left it alone, the costs saved would have paid for 16 months of second weekly garbage pickups, and saved pedestrians from having to lern how to play "Frogger".

---

$100.00 gift limits from lobbyists to GA legislators; it's a good start.

---

L-E story: "PIEDMONT, Ala. — Over the years, Piedmont City Schools has not offered student transportation. Instead of riding traditional buses to and from school each day, youngsters have walked or been driven by family members or neighbors. * “It’s just never been done,” said Piedmont City Schools Superintendent Matt Akin." -- Arrggghhhh!!!!! This is how it used to be done! Where did this superintendent get his Masters in Education?

---

L-E story: "SAVANNAH, Ga. — Authorities in Savannah say 55 people have been arrested in an initiative focused on curbing gun violence. * Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police say Project Ceasefire is a program they’ve used to target convicted felons who have previously been arrested for violent or drug-related crimes." -- Hmmm. " a program they’ve used to target convicted felons"? There goes the gun control issue! Now liberals can focus on stopping previously convicted felons from being profiled! When a program that could actually stem some of the illegal gun issues in employed, liberals rally to stop them.

---

When neither UNC or Kentucky can't make the top 25 ranking of NCAA basketball, the world is not the same.

---

Coca-Cola became one of the world’s most powerful brands by equating its soft drinks with happiness. Now it’s taking to the airwaves for the first time to address a growing cloud over the industry: obesity. * The Atlanta-based company on Monday will begin airing a two-minute spot during the highest-rated shows on CNN, Fox News and MSNBC in hopes of flexing its marketing muscle in the debate over sodas and their impact on public health. The ad lays out Coca-Cola’s record of providing drinks with fewer calories and notes that weight gain is the result of consuming too many calories of any kind — not just soda. " -- Advertising on Fox is like preaching to the choir; advertising on CNN and MSNBC is like advertising-lite. Unfortunately, even diet sodas/drink in NYC are limited to 16 ounces and if Hank Johnson (D-GA) finds out it hasn't worked, he'll probably testify that Manhattan Island will either sink or flip over soon.

---

L-E story: "LOS ANGELES — A measure of U.S. home prices rose in 2012 by the most in six years, buoyed by stronger demand, a lower inventory of unsold homes and fewer sales of bank-owned properties. * Real estate data provider CoreLogic says its home price index, which is based on repeat sales of the same properties, climbed 7.5 percent last year. That’s the biggest annual increase since 2006" -- Hmmm, and pot-US Obluster's spinmeisters will be out telling us that 'inflation' is under control. With less money in peoples' paychecks, higher housing costs, and higher inflation, looks like another dip in the housing industry is about to happen.

---

The L-E's "Foreclosure Section" is a 14 page section, but there's another full-page scattered about in other sections; may be a record! The above item may already be underway.

---

So President Obama told us that, " You didn’t elect me to tell you what you wanted to hear. You elected me to tell you the truth." Then he went on to explain his college education plan:
· Cut the growth of college tuition in half over the next 10 years
· Recruit 100,000 math and science teachers over the next 10 years
· Train two million workers for real jobs at community colleges --

This has the reality factor of a 21st Century Mother Goose story written for a remake of the Twilight Zone!
