Online headline: "Biden Raises Eyebrows With Remark" -- Raised eyebrows?
Must have been everybody else's eyebrows, because Bleep Veep Biden surely can't
raise his own botox filled ones.
---
Online story: "Vice President Joe Biden met with members of the
entertainment and video game industries on Friday in the latest chapter of his
effort to craft recommendations for President Barack Obama on what steps the
administration can take to address gun violence. * After wrapping up the
meetings, Biden raised some eyebrows by tying in gun imagery to his status
report. * "We know that there is no silver bullet," he said, admitting that
coming to a concrete conclusion on the issue of gun violence was a complex
issue. * He then went on to give an update on his recommendations for
comprehensive gun violence legislation, which he is expected to present to Obama
next week. * "I'm shooting for Tuesday," Biden said." -- "silver bullet"?...
"shooting for Tuesday"? Friday must have been a "BOGO" free day... "Buy-den
Ooped, Gave one other" free. Bleep Veep's not smart enough to be "clever" with
his phrase choices to know how insensitive his comments are. Imagine the
mainstream media reaction had the VP been Dan Quayle..
---
What a joke... Bleep Veep Biden said he will tell pot-US Obluster his
"findings" on Tuesday. That sounds more like a promise to Popeye that Wimpy
would say if Popeye would buy him a hamburger today.
---
Do you really think pot-US Obluster is really waiting for Bleep Veep Biden
to report his findings on Tuesday? Don't you think pot-US Obluster has already
told Biden what he' s going to say?

Online headline: "Californians Bring out Gloves, Hats for Cold
Spell * Forecasters predict morning frost on San Diego beaches for
several days" -- Well, it's finally come true.. Californicate has frozen
over.
---
Online story: "A (40 year-old) Hammond, Ind. man was sentenced Friday to 80
years in prison in the 2009 neglect and death of his 13-year-old son Christian
Choate. * (Riley) Choate and his former wife Kimberly Kubina originally pleaded
not guilty to all charges associated with Christian's death, but Riley Choate
made a deal with prosecutors to plead guilty to some of the charges in exchange
for a shorter sentence. According to the Chicago Tribune, he was otherwise
headed for a 120-year sentence." -- Somewhere in Indiana, some lawyer will be
bragging he got his client's probable sentence reduced by 40 years... and there
will be new clients thinking the lawyer is good.

Here it is, January 12th in Columbus, GA, and I had to keep my AC running
during the night to keep the house cool enough for us to sleep under the
covers.
---
WRBL3 headline: "EAMC asking sick people not to visit hospital" -- Guess
treating on unsick people would improve the cure rate at EAMC.... Welcome to
Obamacare. Wonder if unsick people would have to be charged for a 'pre-existing
condition'?
---
Online headline: "Lance Armstrong Reportedly Ready to Make Big Statement to
Oprah" -- Too bad no one will be watching.
---
Online headline: "Katherine Webb to appear in Sports Illustrated's swimsuit
issue " -- Hmmm, looks like Musberger's 'blitz' is giving Katherine Webb the
opportunity to do something the Irish defense couldn't do...sack the Alabama
quarterback.

Online story: (Oklahoma Defensive Coordinator, Mike) Stoops started out
complimenting Manziel, telling Oklahoma City station WWLS (per a transcription
by Tulsa World columnist John E. Hoover): “I’ve seen a lot of football players
play a lot of different styles with guys, but never seen anything like that in
my whole life. I mean, I’ve never felt as defenseless as we were the other
night, that’s for sure." * But Stoops then referred to Manziel’s recent
off-the-field troubles, saying, “If they can keep him out of jail or keep him
eligible, he’s gonna be real good." -- Looks like Stoops has opened up a whole
new job spot on every Division 1 team.... "Crime nanny".

The lawyers for the psycho in Colorado have been given an extension to
decide how they will plead his case. You know, if the psycho is paying for his
lawyers, then that's one thing, BUT since his lawyers are on the public dole,
he/they should not get that time.

Those "reverse mortgage" ads.... doesn't it raise your eyebrows when Fonzi
tells us 'they're' guaranteed by the government. Hadn't we heard this before
concerning subprime mortgages and Fanny&Freddie?
---
Online story/video: "On September 20, 2008, then Senator Joe Biden told a
crowd in Castlewood, Virgnia, "I guarantee you Barack Obama ain't taking my
shotguns, so don't buy that malarkey." He added, "Don't buy that malarkey.
They're going to start peddling that to you. I've got two. If he tries to fool
my Beretta, he's got a problem." -- My first thought was that this would have
been a comment when the primaries were going on, but this was actually after
Bleep Veep Biden was pot-US Obluster's running mate.
---
pot-US Obluster has stuck his foot in his mouth by naming all white males
to high level jobs at the expense of minorities and women.

What about the story about the 5-year-old child 'kidnapped' by his
grandparents being found 19 years later by matching up Social Security numbers.
Question: wouldn't the child have had to be registered in school with his SS
number? Why didn't that number get matched up then? Government at work?

Meercats.... those community animals that taunt us? Well, we have 3
Comeercats! All they do is go to the doors and give us the 'hey, you, come'er
and let us in/ out.

L-E story: "A Thursday shooting that left a 32-year-old man with multiple
gunshot wounds at Booker T. Washington Apartments was self-inflicted, Columbus
police said Friday. * "He got out of the hospital and he's gone," he said. "We
got him identified. We just haven't been able to pick him up yet." -- A guy
shoots himself twice, and disappears from the hospital? Surely this is an early
April Foo's Day joke story.
---
L-E story: "The Ralston, a landmark downtown Columbus building that dates
to 1914 and once was a prominent hotel before becoming subsidized housing, is
headed for a foreclosure auction in early February. * "My understanding is they
haven't made payment for some time," said David Burge, an attorney with the
Atlanta law firm Smith, Gambrell & Russell. He represents Wilmington Trust
National Association, the trustee for the bondholders -- or investors -- who
financed the venture. * The Ralston has a contract with the federal government,
with the (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development), that runs through
September 2013," he said. "Further, the contract requires a one-year notice to
end the contract or to change in any way the contract. So we can safely say that
The Ralston will continue in its current state until September 2014 at the
earliest." -- "haven't made a payment for some time"; "the contract requires a
one-year notice to end the contract or to change in any way the contract. So we
can safely say that The Ralston will continue in its current state until
September 2014 at the earliest"? -- This is how government works, and we have
government in charge of our welfare system, Social Security system, and the Post
Office... no wonder Congress has such a low rating with the taxpayers. Thank
goodness the military answers to the Commander-in-Chief... the Generals and
Admirals only have one idiot to ignore!
---
Liberal's L-E "soundoff": "If marijuana is so dangerous then why are
doctors prescribing it in 20 states as medicine?" -- Again, another lib pulls
facts and figures out of thin air... First, only 17 states plus Washington, DC
(and we wonder what Congress/White House is smoking?) allow this, but at the
Federal level, this is not legal 'per se", but began being tolerated "as of
2009, new federal guidelines have been enacted. According to U.S. Attorney
General Eric Holder, "It will not be a priority to use federal resources to
prosecute patients with serious illnesses or their caregivers who are complying
with state laws on medical marijuana, but we will not tolerate drug traffickers
who hide behind claims of compliance with state law to mask activities that are
clearly illegal." Secondly, many prescribed drugs are in fact "dangerous" and
are prescribed only for certain uses.
---
L-E headline: "Georgia Southern University named military-friendly school"
-- Hmmm, maybe because GSU sorta winks at the drinking laws for those under
21?
---
L-E's "Thought for today": "Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but
not his own facts." - Daniel Patrick Moynihan, US politician (3 term D-MA
Senator) and diplomat (1927-2003) -- This should be used as a disclaimer every
time a DUMBERat makes a campaign speech, and any CNN, MSNBC, Al Jazeeri, ABC,
PBS, CBS or NBC commentator opens his/her mouth.
---
L-E story: "WASHINGTON — The Social Security
Administration issued an official reprimand to the employee after months of
flatulence problems, but the agency says it has since retracted the rebuke. *
The reprimand letter runs four pages and is dated Dec. 10. It charges the Social
Security Administration employee with "conduct unbecoming a federal employee"
and "creating a hostile work environment" because of the repeated gas passing."
-- That's our government... it took 4 pages (an untold manhours) to make a point
the rest of us could stop by simply embarrassing the offender by saying, "Stop
farting, creton!"
---
L-E headline: "Big asteroid no longer a threat" -- Ooops, my bad. Thought
that other 'roid in the White House had resigned.
---
L-E story: The Alabama Supreme Court has affirmed lower court rulings that
the law making it a crime to chemically endanger a child applies to women who
are pregnant. * In one case (a woman) and her newborn son tested positive for
cocaine * In the other case, (another woman's son) died 19 minutes after being
born premature..(and) an autopsy revealed his death was caused by "acute
methamphetamine intoxication." -- Oh, a woman can be held liable for taking
drugs/stimulants that effect/kill her baby, but she can take the chemical-based
'morning after' pills, or have an abortion, or have the baby murdered as it
exits her body under the blessings of the law? God help us.. them.

AU's Coach Malzahn has named a director of high school relations to his
staff. What exactly does a 'high school relations" coach do... arrange remedial
courses, find day care openings, and expunge pre-18 court records?
---
L-E headline: "USDA: Drought cut corn crop by fourth" -- And you thought
OPEC controlled the price of gasoline price spiking...
---
L-E headline: "U.S. trade gap grows to $48.7B, as imports surge" -- Hmmm,
coupled with a surge in first time unemployment applications last week, I'm sure
we'll see pot-US Obluster and his spinmeisters out telling the mainstream media
that these ar two dynamite indicators of a growing economy......
---
Have you noticed that pot-US Obluster is no longer interested in Trayvon
Martin since those HD photos came out and the election being over?
