Lets face it... the Boston Bomber brother just shot down every argument the DUMBERats have for gun control.... VIOLENCE control is the problem, and we have more than enough laws on the books addressing that. The only thing that will stop Violence is certain constraint and consequences for acts of violence. Liberals don't understand the value of quickly executed sentences of death, or permanent stark condition of isolation for violent people, violent acts.

---

Online headline: Boston Bombing Suspect Awakens * Method he's using to respond to police" -- Oops, my bad.... thought the only method should be by sign language.. mainly by extending the middle finger at him..

---

Instant repeat: " Boston Bombing Suspect Awakens" -- "Suspect?!" I guess we can be sorta glad that the mainstream media didn't refer to the (_@_) as "alleged suspect".

---

Stupid mainstream media headline: "Suspect Could Face Death Penalty" -- "COULD?!" If he doesn't, the forever Republican campaign strategy should be to tag every DUMBERat with the Dukakis strategy that worked so well for Hillary and Bush41 in 1988, "Forget Willie Horton, Where's Bomber Brother #1!"

---

Another gun control question: "Since Bomber Brother #1 survived a FBI extended background check on a tip from Russia as to his radical Islamic status, what good is an extended background check by local authorities going to do?

---

Online story: "April 20 (Reuters) - An 18-year-old Chicago-area man accused of planning to join an al Qaeda-linked group fighting in Syria has been arrested by the FBI, the agency said on Saturday." -- Why him, why now? When the Riussian government alerted our government about Bomber Brother #1, the FBI dismissed it. Why is the FBI doing this now?

---

Also from above story: "The supposed recruiter was an FBI employee working undercover, the agency said." -- The FBI has already lost its case... even a first year law student could win this by saying his client knew the 'recruiter' was a FBI agent, and he thought he was joining the FBI.

---

HuffPost headline: "Dianne Feinstein: Labeling Dzhokhar Tsarnaev An Enemy Combatant Would Be 'Unconstitutional'" -- DUMBERats, mainstream media and the ACLU do not think Bomber Brother #1 can be declared a "enemy combatant" because he's been granted American citizenship. BS! At best, he attained such under false pretenses; at a minimum, he should be considered a spy as well for subversive acts while not wearing a uniform.

---

L-E headline: "Some Republicans want suspect declared an enemy combatant " -- Huh? Every patriotic American citizen should demand such! As ity is only DUMBERats, mainstream media and the ACLU actually think differently.

---

From the above L-E story: "A legal and political fight has begun over whether the wounded ethnic Chechen suspected of being one of two Boston Marathon bombers should be treated as an enemy combatant, instead of as a conventional criminal. " -- "instead of as a conventional criminal"? Anyone who even considers Bomber Brother #1 a 'conventional criminal' should be considered insane, and the info be highlighted on the National database as sympathizing with terrorists, and be the first red flag on a gun or election background check.

---

HuffPost headline/story: "Student Charged After Refusing To Remove NRA Shirt * Logan County (WV) Schools' dress code, which is posted on the school system's website, prohibits clothing and accessories that display profanity, violence, discriminatory messages or sexually suggestive phrases. Clothing displaying advertisements for any alcohol, tobacco, or drug product also is prohibited. * Their lawyer, Ben White, said that the T-shirt did not appear to violate any school policy." -- the Logan County School Dress Code has been 'foisted by its own petard'. When you start making rules listing specifics, then it's just as proper to believe that if it's not on the list of specifics, then it's "OK" because it it's not "OK", then it would be on the list also.

---

Fox News headline: "House committee wants administration's intelligence on Tamerlan Tsarnaev" -- "administrative intelligence"? Well, even if the House Committee should get the administrations BEST intelligence, prior examples of intelligence sipplied on the economy, job creation, ObamaCare, "Fast & Furious" and Benghazi have already demonstrated the degree of intelligence it can expect.

---

McClatchy story: "In an effort to raise more money for border protection and inspection, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security wants Congress to authorize the study of a fee that could be collected from everyone who enters this country at land crossings." -- How come we don't already have such a fee? If you fly or take a cruise, you get hit with landing or port fees every time you touch ground. What's sadder is a Canadian border US town's mayor is upset that it may stop Canadians from crossing over to shop. Listen buddy, Canadians shop in your town because it's cheaper than shopping in Canada. and an entry fee won't change that.

---

I've noticed a lot of local flags are still flying at half -mast. Well, unless your mission is to keep it there until Bomber Brother #2 stops breathing, raise it high and fly it with pride.

---

Things I learn shopping with my bride... it's no longer safe to go to your office and get away from the world of Martha Stewart... Staples, and probably others. has a Martha Stewart section for office decoration and accessories.

---

Becca Wiggins has retired from the City's Code and Enforcement Department after 25+ years. No one will miss her more than Mike Owen when he needs action taken for his L-E column reports.

---

Online headline: "Danica Patrick Told to 'Shut Up and Race' After Tough Day" -- Patrick is lucky... I know a local lawyer that yelled at a group of women golfers who were in front of is to, "Get back in the kitchen where you belong!".

---

As per the "Looking Back" feature of the L-E, 50 years ago this month, Columbus completed its "port" to handle river trade. The question of the day is, "How many years has it been closed?"

---

L-E story: "The (MCSD School) administration says that research and statistical data now support other measures for the delivery of student discipline within the public school setting and that corporal punishment reinforces physical aggression as an acceptable and effective means of eliminating unwanted behavior in our society." -- Who supplied that research... Dr Benjamin Spock?

---

L-E online headlines: "Cocaine arrest made after shots reported near Dawson Street" * Man charged with crack cocaine after driving around Morris Road" * Sexual assault reported near Wilson Apartments " * "Police stop suspected stolen vehicle, arrest woman for meth possession " * Woman charged with meth possession after shoplifting at Walmart" * "Woman reports televisions stolen from her home "-- Hmmm, but lets not discuss which side of Macon Road this all happened... that would be politically incorrect profiling.

---

Everyone contact your MCSD board member to support his challenge to the expenses of sending board members to "conventions/meetings". Anything pertaining to educational ideas can be done via computer conferencing. In fact, after seeing the 'ticket" for other governmental "conventions/meetings", scrapping all public sector trips in the future should be considered for scrapping in favor of of computer conferencing.

---

The L-E has an article on the new GA car taxes (of course, it's no more clarifying after reading it than before).: "The law was meant partly to capture some of that lost sales tax revenue from private sales and to “level the playing field” between private sales and those that take place at dealerships, which always were responsible for collecting sales tax, said Bill Morie, president of the Georgia Automobile Dealers Association. " -- All in all, all this does is highlight what happens when government imposes higher consumption taxes... much of the business goes 'underground' ala the drug business.
