Just looking back at my 'saved' e-mails, it'll soon be 5 full years of the
Breakfast Club. Thank Ben Holden if you're enjoying (or not) this daily attempt
at "Righting" wrongs. Used to be 'content' at addressing subjects of note with
the L-E until Ben Holden declared my e-missives "spam" and black-listed my
letters-to-the-editor. Guess he had thin skin when I exposed him as the bigot he
was to most of the L-E stafff. Deep-down, I think they all knew it before that,
but kept that to themselves.

well, Al Caproni, Jr. A name from the past showed up in the L-E obits today. A
former local banker who had retired long ago has passed. I fondly remember Al
from frequent repasts in the Patio Restaurant of our family's store, but
no such memory of Al shall eclipse his cover shot on "Cigar Aficionado" magazine
years back.

L-E story: " A 35-year-old Seale, Ala., man was arrested in
Columbus and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
after police saw him standingon a the side of the
road drinking a beer early Saturday morning, according to police reports. *
Around 1:40 a.m. Saturday, Columbus
police on patrol saw Allen Woods, 35, of a Person Loop address in Seale,
standing on the curb on Dawson Street drinking a 12-ounce Bud Light. *
He was arrested and
subsequently charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute,
obstruction, loitering and drinking in public, according to reports. The report
did not indicate how much marijuana Woods had in his possession. " -- Hmmm...
the writer noted that is was a 12 oz beer, but the amount of marijuana was
undisclosed... maybe so there's no documentation to refer to in the evidence
