Online headline: "Trayvon Martin's Family Settles Wrongful Death Suit" -- "Settles"? This will never be "settled".... Mainstream media has martyred a young thug as it did Rodney King.

DUMBERats are NOT good salesmen. DUMBERats are the are the ones that hang out around places that children frequent and ask it they want free candy. Children will not believe you if the only argument you make is that the 'free candy' is not good for them. You have to convince the children that their future is jeopardize by what the 'strangers' want from them.

Online headline: "Obama Apologizes To California Attorney General" -- Bet Michelle had a word or two on that. Is it coincidence that Judas 00-bama made the comment after a weekend of golfing with Tiger Woods?

---

Online headline: "Nanny Charged In Murder Of Children Deemed Fit For Trial" -- That's an amazing finding... "fit for trial". In my book, she's not "fit for living"!

---

WTVM9 story: "The body of a North Carolina woman was found in her crashed car days after it was towed from the scene of the accident. * The North Carolina Highway Patrol found the car in a ditch on Friday. * The trooper on scene said he didn't see a driver and had the car towed." -- And we thought Barney Fife had died...

From a fellow BCer:

Advice from Curtis & Leroy

Limit all politicians to two terms.
One in office. One in prison.
Detroit and Chicago already do this.
---
Rumor has it that Rutgers is trying to get approval to ask Bobby Knight to take over its open basketball coaching job based on the premise that Knight is a comparative wimp to the last coach.
---
A judge has ruled that "Plan B" after sex abortion pills must be available over the counter for "women" of all ages without identification requirements. Has the judge defined 10 or 11 year old girls as "women"? Had the judge taken responsibility for the side effects such pills could cause if abused by children? What evils has this judge unleashed on innocence? BTW, Planned Parenthood is ecstatic!

It's time.... it's time we demand that then Senator Algore's claim that out Social Security deductions would be placed in a 'lock box' be enforced, and other entitlements kept out of it. Other Social Security associated benefits that are actually "entitlements" should be renamed for what they actually are.. Government enslavement pay.

Another fellow BCer passed this along... it's just a minute and a half and a 'don't miss'
---
Crack headline in the L-E: "PLAYERS TO WATCH TODAY AT GEORGIA’S G-DAY GAME" -- Drats... I was so hoping we would be able to watch the players "play" rather than 'watch'.
---
L-E story: "A patrol officer arrested Zanders when he gave the officer a false name Wednesday, police said. While under arrest for giving police false information, he also was charged with murder, using a firearm to commit a crime and being a felon with a firearm, officers said. "-- Yep, here's another unnecessary death that would not have happened if we made felons and other thieves undergo background checks before they stole guns. Let's put the blame where it truly belongs... on the shoulders of liberals who blame responsible people for the ills of the country.
---
L-E story: "At least 71 jobs will be impacted at Fort Benning when the post discontinues a basic training unit on Monday and reorganizes another in June as part of the Army’s plans to reduce its force by fiscal year 2020. * None of the 44 soldiers and 27 civilian employees will lose their jobs in the restructuring, said Gary A. Jones, director of public affairs at Fort Benning. Four of the civilian jobs are already vacant. *The changes are expected to save an estimated $1.6 million in fiscal year 2014" -- Wait a minute... no one of these 71 will lose a job, but each job "restructured" will save over $22,500.00? Let's 'restructure ALL government jobs today!

The Downtown Market Days opens today. You'd think the marketing team would have checked the calendar as not to open the week of Spring Break.
---
L-E headline: "OBAMA’S BUDGET SEEKS COMPROMISE " -- Hmmm, we'd all be better off if Judas 00-bama's 'budget' sought responsibility, accountability, and balance.
---
Personal observation... judges shouldn't be part of public solicitations for any charity.. just a bad precedent.
---
An advocate of Veterans Affairs says the benefits system is anachronistic because it does everything by hard copy forms... no phone calls, no e-mail, no wesite, just hard copy forms sent by mail... Hmmm, that's the problem.... waiting, hoping the Post Office will actually deliver the mail in a speed time frame.
---
L-E headline/story: "Georgia Department of Education to grade schools * The new system will assign a grade from zero to 100 for each school and district. The grade will be based on factors such as graduation rate, performance on standardized tests, student attendance, academic growth and success in closing the performance gap between different groups of students. This eliminates No Child Left Behind’s “adequate yearly progress” measure and the “needs improvement” designation that many did not like" -- "hmmm, "many did not like".... well, educators did not like because parents were not happy with their child's school being designated 'inadequate'. Now, the schools can look at a grade of 60 and tell parents that's passing just like their kid's grades.
---
In Dimon Kendrick-Holmes story, he described a member of the audience at a book reading as "a former mayor who’d served as chief counsel to officers involved in the My Lai massacre" -- bet Uncle Bob is spitting nails this AM.
---
The story ESPN ran on the Auburn scandal seems as likely as the early 60's Saturday Evening Post's story claiming Wally Butts & Bear Bryant were involved in a fix.... no one benefits from questioned sensationalism.
---
I find it strange that the L-E's "real Estate Transactions" feature doesn't show homes that have been sold. Seems the only info published now is about building permits, and only potential thieves benefit by finding out where they can find construction projects.

Heads-up from another BCer for this: "

Diversity Gone Wild: Lifeguards Who Can't Swim?

Here is another case of just how messed up our country is. The left is notorious for finding a "problem" that doesn't really exist and then doing everything, fair or not, to correct the so-called problem or injustice. That's exactly what's going on in Phoenix where there is a push to hire minority lifeguards, even if the recruits can't swim!

Thanks to a heads-up from a fellow BCer: "Angered by the proposed sale of their historic Downtown Post Office, citizens of Berkeley, California are going to San Francisco on Tuesday, December 4th. * Led by Citizens to Save the Berkeley Post Office, community members will assemble at 11:30 a.m. for a rally at 909 Montgomery in front of the offices of Blum Capital Partners. Blum Capital is a private equity firm founded in 1976 by Richard Blum, a current regent of the University of California. Commercial real estate giant Coldwell Banker Richard Ellis (CBRE) is among the many investments of Blum Capital. In fact the Chairman of CBRE is Richard Blum." -- Richard Blum... where have we heard that name before..... two paragraphs further into the story come s this sentence, " Senator Feinstein's husband is Richard Blum." Further information revealed that "United States has entered into a contract with one firm to sell 56 buildings that currently house U.S. Post Offices. The government has decided that it no longer needs these buildings (many of which are located on prime land in towns and cities across the country). The sale of these properties will bring in billions of dollars and, with that, millions of dollars in commissions for the one Company that is in charge of handling the sale and negotiation of the new leases." This is also of interest. Dick Blum is the guy who brokered the sale of the port facilities at Long Beach to the Chinese Overseas Shipping Company (COSCO); That is the naval civilian arm of the Chinese National Army.
