Online propaganda: "A look at 2010 data reveals that the U.S. is one of the
least taxed countries in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and
Development (OECD), according to a study released Monday by Citizens For Tax
Justice." -- The libs are hard at work... don't ever forget this. 10 slides are
floating around proclaiming Americans aren't taxed as high as nearly all other
countries as though that is bad. Not one slide compares the revenue and
prosperity that lower taxes give to America than any other country. It also
shoots holes in liberal contentions of why American companies keep cash in
overseas accounts.

Judas 00-bama has nominated two "Republican lawyers" for two of the 5 spots
on the National Labor Relations Board. It only takes a majority of 3 to pass
resolutions/responses so having 2 "Republican lawyers" will not change the
pro-union bias, but something else bothers me... if the 2 "Republican lawyers"
are truly Republican, why would they agree to being pawns for the Judas 00-bama
agenda? Smoke and Mirrors to get the Senate Republicans to look like
obstacles.

Now a mass stabbing has occurred on a Texas college campus. 14 students in
several buildings were stabbed by a lone knifer. Early unconfirmed reports
hinted the knife was a semi-automatic dual tipped model.
---
WTVM9 story: "COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - As
President Obama pushes for more gun control to protect students in the wake of
recent shootings, the Muscogee County School Board took steps to make Columbus
schools safer. The new security plan "LATER": Lockdown…Alert...Take action...Evacuate if
possible...Resist as a last resort, was presented to the school board during
Monday night's meeting." -- "LATER"? What an asinine acronym... the only thing
"LATER" means is that it's later than the MCSD thinks since by removing paddles
from schools has eliminated the only crowd control weapon teachers
had.

From the unintended
consequences' department. Hmmm, maybe all those bonds China holds of
our government debt may mean China may stop North Korea from attacking its
largest investment.
---
DUMBERats are ever waving their
fingers at conservatives and morals and shouting out "extremist" at them. Well,
if you're as far to the left as DUMBERats appear, everything to their right
(including the middle ground) does look rather extreme.
---
Why is it that mainstream media
reporters are in such a rush to report whatever Judas 00-bama says, but never
are in any hurry to check his facts for the truth? There was a time when truth
mattered more than urgency... I miss that.
---
Why is " the sequester" so
difficult for government to grasp? Recent GAO reports show
that duplicate government programs already spend 3 times more than the pittance
that 'the sequester' is making the government reduce in
spending.
---
In an interview on CBS, Michelle
Obama referred to herself as"a busy single mom". I guess wives of this
generation of DUMBERat presidents wives are open to non-traditional forms of
marriages (Hillary, too)... While it could be described as a Freudian Slip, it's
really a case of " fraud-ian slip".

Online
story: Soldiers in the U.S. military have been told
in a training briefing that evangelical Christians are the No. 1 extremist
threat to America – ahead of groups like the Muslim Brotherhood, KKK, Nation of
Islam, al-Qaida, Hamas and others. * The briefing, which was given to an Army
reserve unit in Pennsylvania, came from a U.S. Army Reserve Equal Opportunity
training brief titled “Extremism and Extremist Organizations.” The following
slide/chart was a visual aid:
Surely this did not appear
without the sanction of the Commander-in-Chief. To 'dot the "i", Louis Farrakhan
nor ACORN made the list.
---
Did I miss it? The apology of
Sean Penn's son's racial and homophobic slur barrage to a
paparazzi.
---
If Senator Kelly Ayotte, R-NH,
wants to become a credible voice for government accountability, she needs to
snip the cords she holds with Send. Graham & McCain. Those two have so many
political skeletons and positions in their closets to be given any further
credibility.

I hate it when the L-E clumps
McKoon with Myers on the issue of the MCSD Board issue of the no-bid legal
contract. To begin with Hatcher-Stubbs-Ea al rates charged for services would be
of no interest to other large firms, and the citizens are getting a great
service for their tax dollar. On the other hand, one of the lawyers would like
the MCSD board to have an in-house (salaried plus expenses etc) attorney
(hopefully himself) who would control legal issues. The only real problem with
the current set-up is that the MCSD barrages Hatcher-Stubbs-Et al with too many
trivial situations that could be solved with consistent
rulings.

L-E story: "A man allegedly damaged two police cars Monday
morning after he was arrested with a small amount of marijuana, according to a
Columbus police report. * Pollard was placed inside a patrol car and buckled
in. Shortly after, he managed to free himself of the car restraints and began
kicking the rear passenger door hard enough to separate the paneling from the
frame, police said. * Officers placed
Pollard in leg irons and put him in another patrol car. He allegedly said, “You want to
see me break something?” He then began thrusting up against his seat belt and
restraints, causing the seat to come loose from the frame. He also stripped out the restraining bolt of the lap
bar, police said." -- Hmmm, perhaps the police rear seat restraints should be
equipped with "taser' barbs that activate when a prisoner exerts any excessive
pressure on them.
---
L-E story: "WASHINGTON — Even before it is unveiled, President
Barack Obama’s new budget is opening to poor reviews from liberal allies
entrenched in their opposition to shaving benefit programs and GOP opponents
equally opposed to new tax increases." -- Of course the left is upset with a
budget proposal! After all, it's been years since the DUMBERats have passed (or
voted) on one, and a new budget will eliminated the "continuous
resolutions" that have kept entitlement programs funded and increasing
without review.
---
L-E story: "MINNEAPOLIS — A worker at the Minneapolis-St. Paul
International Airport has been charged with stealing shotguns, revolvers and
other weapons from the checked luggage of passengers who had connections through
the busy Twin Cities airport. " -- well, expect Sen Diane Feinstein to propose a
new law making theft of guns illegal! Oh.... there are already hundreds of laws
that do that... nevermind.
---
L-E editorial
headline: "Georgia trying to grade schools on fairer scale" -- huh? Aren't state
or federal standards the main reason that local standards have declined since
1979? (That was the year Cuzzin Jimmy installed a Department of Education) The
current Secretary of Educations prior job was CEO of the Chicago School System,
and we know how well that worked. What's really needed is a trip back to Grand
Jury appointed school boards who's sole job is to monitor & support the
needs and progress of Muscogee County
schools.

L-E story: "During routine purchase authorizations Tuesday at
Columbus Council, City Manager Isaiah Hugley presented a request to buy $45,892
worth of furniture, fixtures and equipment for the
new Sustainability Center near the Pine Grove Landfill off Schatulga Road. *
Councilor Judy Thomas had a different idea.
Pointing to the almost $900,000 that council recently approved for furnishing
the new City Service Center, Thomas said that should create a surplus of
furniture as employees move from the Government Center to furnished offices in
the Macon Road building" -- Hmmm, wish Judy had suggested using
some of the existing furniture at the new service center to begin with, but at
least she's stepping up to the plate now. One other suggestion though i sthat if
the Landfill office can't find enough to salvage from the City, then how about
someone rummaging through furniture left on the street... it's free, and will
save that much more space in the landfill.
;-)

We're gonna hear a lot
more about "growlers". Most of it will be 'growling' about how many 'growler
containers" will be fished out of the Whitewater project (a capped empty growler
jug would probably have perpetual motion in "CutBait" ), then the landfill will
complain about them being sent there to be disposed
of.
---
Speaking of "growlers",
why is the last thing any bar owners would want to wish on the community is send
a person who has already been drinking home with a gallon of beer to tide him
over?
---
Our newly proposed
Director of Human Resources is our current "affirmative action" officer? We
still have an "affirmative action" program? well, I hope her first action as
Director is to bring Human Resources into the 21st Century by eliminating her
previous job
position.
---
L-E headline: "Attorney wants separate trials for teens charged
with shooting baby in stroller " -- First, it's about time the L-E showed any
real interest in this horrific racial hate crime, and under the
circumstances we have been informed about, separate trials are probably a
good thing, but only with the fully testimony of the younger against the older.
The older, gun firing teen should be publicly executed within an hour after the
trial tomorrow!

The rest of the sports
world may as well take a vacation for the rest of the week... I'm in "Masters"
mode.

Online story: "A former Hooters employee who was forced to quit after
shaving her head for brain surgery is now suing the franchise in federal court
for violating the Missouri Human Rights Act, according to court documents
provided to The Huffington Post by the woman's lawyer. * Sandra Lupo waitressed
at a Hooters in St. Peters, Mo., when she shaved her head in July 2012 so that a
doctor could perform a craniotomy to remove a large mass on her brain, the
lawsuit alleges." -- Bless her heart, but this girl is missing a huge
opportunity... her lawyer should be trying to get her a made-for-TV movie as the
only Hooter's waitress who has had a 'large mass' removed rather than
added.
