Sen Elizabeth Warren, D-MA, brought to our attention that Judas 00-bama not
only is concerned about the bombings, but reached out to call the
governor/mayor. DOH!
---
Massachusetts Attorney General Ortiz referred to the Boston Marathon
bombings as a "tragedy". "Tragedy"? This wasn't a 'tragedy'; this was blatant
terrorism, but that is not convenient to say/admit.
---
Then the Boston AG referred to the bombings on act of cowardice. True,
that's a given, but what it was is an act terrorism.
---
Online story:"No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the
attack, which killed at least three people and wounded more than 180 others. *
"Someone knows who did this," (Richard) DesLauriers ( the FBI's special agent in
charge) said. "The person who did this was someone's friend, neighbor or
co-worker." -- Enough of the dramatics! This sounds more like a line from a TV
show. There's a good chance the (_@_) (+/-) was an unemployed loner, or part of
a hate group, and nothing will be said other than he/they represented a group
that enjoyed doing this. Let's just hope the government doesn't offer some
gigantic reward that some subversive can claim to fund other terroristic
actions. Let's assume that any indignant, any real, American would have turned
in the (_@_) before now. The guy/group has NO friends that are Americans! Well,
other than some lawyers seeking notoriety.

I had never thought of Pressure Cookers being such perfect as a bomb
delivery system before now, but when you think about the 'locking' mechanics' of
such, pressure cookers do compact the pressure until a maximum force inside
triggers the pressure release. Look for Senator Diane Feinstein, D-CA, to
introduce a bill to register Pressure Cookers.
(Psst...someone pass on that Pressure Cookers may already be on some bridal
registries)
---
Mark Sanford has been charged with trespassing in his ex-wife's home. I
know the charge is divorce/custody related, but somehow I do hope it helps
him NOT win the Congressional seat in South Carolina. The Republican image does
not need Mark Sanford.

From the "really bad, probably intentional, mainstream media gotcha
headline" department: "US Senator Reportedly Sent Letter Tainted With Poison" --
Hmmm In reality, a US Senator WAS SENT a poison tainted letter. Two guesses to
which party the named Senator belongs to, and he ain't a DUMBERat.
---
From the "stupid mainstream media headline" department: "Was The Boston
Marathon Bombing A 'Terror' Attack?: -- Nah, it was a Harvard fraternity prank!
Who ever wrote this headline should immediately be put of the "no fly" and "no
buy (guns)' lists.
---
Online headline: "Boston Marathon Organizers Vow to Keep Event Going" -- I
sure do hope Boston doesn't hire the same committee New York did to resurrect
the 911 memorial and new tower.
---
Online headline: "Neil A. MacInnis, Virginia Mall Shooting Suspect,
Legally Purchased Shotgun: Police" -- Hmmm, an 18 year old who could pass a
background check to buy a shotgun... doesn't surprise me at all... even if he
had done crimes (as long as nothing severe enough to be treated as an adult)
before, as a minor, those crimes could be sealed and not included in a
background check.

Judas 00-bama reported his taxes earlier... paid a rate of about 18%. Even
if he itemized everything he spent out of his pocket, I find it difficult for
him to get down to 18%. Less face it, he doesn't have to declare his housing,
meals, transportation and other office perks as income, so the effective rate of
his taxes is closer to 1% than anything, but can you imagine someone else making
$400,000.00 in earned income, plus his book royalties and having no deductions
other than some donations and personal deductions of himself, wife and children
paying only 18%?

The college student loan debt is already in excess of $1 Trillion, and now
new loan procedures are in effect that will drive it higher with the taxpayer
getting stuck with a good chunk of it after 20 years. All the relaxed student
loan programs have done is increase the costs at traditional colleges, and
fertilized the growth of online and "chain" for-profit diploma mills which have
no guarantee of jobs, or preparation that employers consider competitive. This
is what you get when you put government in charge of secondary education.

Christ taught us to turn a cheek to the wrath of another, but He didn't
tell us to turn away from the truth. The local Christian station, known as the
Truth, had a "DJ?" refer to the Boston terror attack as "a tragedy". BS!!!
Katrina was a tragedy. Hurricane Sandy was a tragedy. A tsunami is a
tragedy. The Boston bombings were not a tragedy! They were an attack by
terrorists, whether foreign or domestic villains! We cannot allow our media,
from any source, to soft peddle, to minimize the heinousness of such
attacks!
---
Judas 00-bama really showed he was on top of the terror attack in Boston.
Finally, about 10:00ish the yesterday, someone remembered to lower the flag on
top of the White House to half-mast.

None of the precious metal brokers missed a beat in advertising now is the
time (versus Monday?) to buy. Monday was a good lesson for precious metal
investors... while such won't go to "zero", a sudden chaos in the market
initiates long term holders into cashing in, or more recent traders to bail
out.

On line mystery quote: " “Don’t condemn the gangbangers, they’ve got guns
that are trafficked — that are not enforced, that are straw purchased and they
come into places even that have strong gun laws. Why? Because we don’t have
sensible gun legislation. I’m going to agree with my friends on the other side
of the isle. Our Republican friends, let’s enforce the gun laws that we have – -
who would run away from that. That’s a sensible proposition. Put a resolution on
the floor of the House – - let’s enforce gun laws that we have. * Chicago’s
murder rate is so high because they don’t have strict enough gun control,
and that neighboring states don’t impose the same restrictions that Illinois
does. So, don’t blame the criminals. It’s not their fault. It’s that we don’t
have universal gun control. If we didn’t have any guns at all, these criminals
wouldn’t be able to kill each other. Poor gangbangers. They just need more
rehabilitation." -- Surely, no one in his/her right mind could think this; and
you're probably RIGHT! These are the words and thought process of a US
Congressperson, from Texas, no less, who has a degree from from Yale, and a law
degree from the U of VA. Guessed yet? Well she's been sitting in Congress since
1995, sits on the House Homeland Security Committee, and is somehow related to
the late Michael Jackson... yep, our quotee is Sheila Jackson Lee of the 18th
District of Texas (inner city Houston) Surely the Texas Republicans can find a
minority candidate who can offer as much 'free candy' in order to get elected
in order to get her out of Congress. I'll donate!
---
In the above quote, Congressperson Lee is wrong even when she is close to
being right. She thinks things will clear up if we 'enforce the gun laws that we
have". Wrong because it's not so much a matter of enforcing the gun laws as it
is in the sentencing and pardon/parole areas of the courts.
---
Online headline: "Senators Will Vote on Gun Bill They Have Not Read" --
Hmmm now here's an application of Boston FBI spokesperson Richard DesLauriers'
plea that would get results: "The person who did this was someone's friend,
neighbor or co-worker." Somebody "wrote' the bill, so somebody KNOWS what's in
it.

Picture in the L-E:
I wonder if the Council in New Rochelle, NY wants to ban this flag as
"unAmerican"?
---
Another L-E picture:
Another L-E picture:
-- Excuse me, but the FBI wants us to believe that a bomb causing
so much physical damages to human lives was contained in this backpack, and we
can still tell what it is? No way!
---
L-E story: "CARACAS, Venezuela —
Venezuela’s president-elect blamed the opposition Tuesday for seven deaths and
61 injuries that the government claims have occurred in disturbances protesting
his election, and he accused the U.S. of organizing the unrest. " -- Hmm, what
did Judas 00-bama do... send Sean Penn & ACORN down to help?
---
From the L-E's "Looking back" feature: "Fifty years ago today,
April 17, 1963 * Education Said Communism Foe *
Noted lecturers-authors Harry
and Bonaro Overstreet today called the world Communist movement the “most
horrendous threat to freedom in history” and said the most effective way to
fight it is through education." -- My, how times and teaching curricula
have changed.
---
There were two neat pictures of baseball players
from Brookstone School in the L-E today. They were part of the Brookstone team
of students and adults who went to the Dominican Republic to build houses for
some families there. Does anyone wonder why the L-E didn't bother to print the
two players names?
---
Not everything beats an empty ball park... letting a non-state
institution's ball team use Golden Park as it's home facility at a money losing
rate for Columbus taxpayers is one of these.
