Cuzzin' Jimmy Carter slammed Israel, and wants Factless Shrugged to
recognize Hamas as an organization. You know, Sen. Sam Nunn, D-GA, was Jimmy's
"go to" buddy in the Armed Services Committee. Now both Carter & Nunn have
kinfolk holding on their coattails running for Governor & Senator of GA. The
Republican campaign strategy should be videos of Cuzzin Jimmy supporting Hamas,
and 70s pictures of Jimmy & Sam shaking hands and smiling. Wanna bet
Michelle Nunn will want to change her ballot name to Michelle Martin?

Online story: "Dozens of government watchdogs are sounding the alarm that
the Obama administration is stonewalling them, in what is being described as an
unprecedented challenge to the agencies they're supposed to oversee. *
Forty-seven of the government's 73 independent watchdogs known as inspectors
general voiced their complaints in a letter to congressional leaders this week.
They accused several major agencies -- the Justice Department, the Peace Corps
and the chemical safety board -- of imposing "serious limitations on access to
records." -- "47 of 73"? Why aren't the other 26 doing their jobs?
---
Here's something else that needs investigating.. I just poured my 3rd cup
of coffee from my 12-cup coffee-maker carafe, and it shows I have only 5 cups
left. I just don't know who to call.. the FCC for false advertisements, or the
Secretary of Education and complain about the Common Core math program.

Two tropical storms, potential hurricanes are about to hit Hawaii. Hmmm,
you know, if the Mosqued-man scheduled a sudden vacation trip there, it would
basically become another "Perfect Storm".

Online headline/story: "Khmer Rouge verdict: Decades in the making * Some
35 years following the end of the brutal regime that killed millions in
Cambodia, a U.N. tribunal sentenced its two surviving leaders * PHNOM PENH,
Cambodia (AP) -- Three and a half decades after the genocidal rule of Cambodia's
Khmer Rouge ended, a U.N.-backed tribunal on Thursday sentenced two top leaders
of the former regime to life in prison for crimes against humanity during the
country's 1970s terror period that left close to 2 million people dead. * The
historic verdicts were announced against Khieu Samphan, the regime's 83-year-old
former head of state, and Nuon Chea, its 88-year-old chief ideologue - the only
two surviving leaders of the regime left to stand trial." -- Hmmm .. Good
grief...35 years after the fact, two horrible examples of humanity who lead with
Pol Pot in the decimation of nearly 2 million Cambodians, both near death as it
is, were sentenced to "life in prison". Why not end the misery.. bury the
memory... of a an era of death? Hmmm... you know.. it's been 36 years since
Carlton Gary killed his last known victim. It;s been 30 years since his arrest
and 28 years since his conviction and death sentence. He's still breathing. As
slow and weak as it's been, UN.. the blasted UN "justice" system has been
faster than ours.

New polls say the reason we are struggling is the fault if the President
and Congress. Hmmm, if they'd just remember to include the Judicial Branch, then
the public would have it right.

Online story: "HOUSTON (AP) - The U.S. Army has begun questioning Sgt. Bowe
"TaliBan-dahl" about his disappearance in Afghanistan that led to five years in
captivity by the Taliban, his attorney and an Army spokeswoman said Wednesday.
* TaliBan-dahl was questioned at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, where he has
been staying since returning to the U.S., said his attorney, Eugene R. F*****l."
-- "said his attorney"? His $350K richer attorney? Wonder if "his attorney" is
negotiating a movie deal.. perhaps it'll be a sequel to
"I saw what you did, and I know who you are" starring TaliBan-dahl and the
ghosts of the 6 soldiiers who died trying to find him...

One of the main drains caused by the illegal alien invasion is the amount
of money being sent back to family members in the root countries. One simple
solution could stop it. Make it against the law to send cash/checks/gift
cards/etc from America to other countries unless you have a corporate business
license and Federal tax ID verifying you international business needs. Using
scanners for magnetic strips/bar coding in mail/packages should catch most of
it, and since it would be considered "contraband", it would be confiscated and
put into accounts that would be applied only for border security and/or reducing
the National Debt.
---
Two illegal aliens, repeat immigration offenders with 2 or more
deportations and lengthy rap sheets, saw an off duty Border Patrolman ride by
with his family. The two followed them, and invaded a family picnic and killed
our Border agent. Where is our border security, man-of-Steal?

L-E headline/story: "12-year-old charged in fatal playground stabbing *
Police said the 12-year-old was evaluated at a hospital and then taken to the
Kent County Juvenile Detention Center. * a 9-year-old boy, who witnesses and
authorities said was stabbed in the back * He pleaded not guilty to a murder
charge in juvenile court Tuesday, according to his attorney, who told a court
referee he may seek a mental evaluation to determine if the boy is competent to
stand trial. The boy was ordered held until an Aug. 13 preliminary hearing. *
The Associated Press is not naming the 12-year-old because of his age." -- "not
naming the the 12-year-old because of his age"? Good grief.. a 12-year-old
who's killed a 9-year-old, and has "lawyered up" shouldn't be treated as a
12-year-old!

From a newsletter from Congressman Sanford Bishop, D-GA 4th : "This year
marks the 20th anniversary since the Great Flood of 1994, one of the most
devastating natural disasters to ever strike Middle and Southwest Georgia. I
remember working with the relief effort, planning repair of infrastructure, and
bringing much-needed food and water to those stranded and left without homes."
-- "I remember working"? Wanna bet whether Congressman Bishop can produce a
picture of a blister, much less a callous from working with his hands?

Online headline: "Spacecraft catches up to comet" -- If this doesn't catch

an American accomplishment...why?

Online story: "Speaking to reporters at U.S. European Command in Stuttgart,
Germany, Chuck Hagel said he agrees with Poland's foreign minister, who said
Wednesday that the increase in Russian forces near Ukraine's border heightened
the risk of an invasion." -- Chuck who? Oh.. he's our Secretary of Defense..
When was the last time you saw his name in the news? Where has this guy been
hiding? Obviously, Factless Shrugged has had him under wraps.

political party affiliation of each city's mayor?

According to "experts" our generation is lucky to have survived until
today. "experts" list dangerous aspects that we existed with - no bike helmets,
secondhand smoke, no childproof caps on household chemicals, Mattel's Zero M
Sonic Blaster, tanning without "SPF", optional seatbelts, parents letting us
roam unattended, Gilbert Chemistry sets, "death-trap school & park
playgrounds, lead paint, Jarts, and children not having cellphones. Good grief..
I thought those were the things that made up stronger.
----
More thoughts about the things the "experts" left off their list: BB guns,
slingshots, asbestos , sharing a bottle of Coke with your buds, drinking water
out of hoses, Flexie-Racers, skates that came off your shoes when you were
flying down the streets of you neighborhood, corporal punishment at school,
riding our bikes to school, school lunches, mower-engined handmade soapbox cars,
.. hmm.. Hey, y'all can help out here with remembrances of your own..

Online headline: "Census: Almost 10 million Americans changed race" -- Good
grief.. Why does government promote racism to begin with? There doesn't even
need to be a block of choices, and if one block needed to be included for
"checking" your race on government forms, it should be whether you're a member,
or not, of the human race.

Online story: "An insurance company settled a lawsuit with a Los Angeles
man by dropping off buckets full of thousands of quarters, nickels, dimes and
pennies, his attorney said Wednesday.
Andres Carrasco, 76, filed a lawsuit in 2012 against Adriana's Insurance Services, a Rancho Cucamonga-based company. * The East Los Angeles man alleged that during an argument over why the company had cancelled his auto insurance, an agent assaulted him by physically removing him from the office.
The company reached a settlement in June and last week delivered partial payment in the form of a check, but also tried to leave buckets of loose change in his lawyer's East Los Angeles office, attorney Antonio Gallo said. * Gallo said he refused to accept the delivery because he couldn't verify the amount in the buckets. But, he said, the cash was left the next day when he was at court. * His assistant said eight people came in "and just dropped it off in the lobby," Gallo said. * Gallo, who wouldn't disclose the settlement figure, estimated there may be $20,000 or more in coins." -- Did you know, you do not have to accept payment/compensation for a debt with more than 99-cents worth of coinage? That's right.. the man should file a lawsuit against the insurance folks for failure to make good on their debt obligation.

From the "governments gone nuts" departmet - Online story: "Two Tulsa
police officers who are married have been arrested in the fatal shooting of a
19-year-old man who was walking with their daughter, authorities said. * Jeremy
Lake was walking with the Keplers' 18-year-old daughter, Lisa Kepler, when
Shannon Kepler confronted him, Tulsa police department spokeswoman Jillian
Roberson said. An argument ensued and the father lashed out, shooting Lake,
Roberson said. Lisa Kepler started to run, and was shot at, but the bullet
missed * The Keplers are on paid administrative leave, Roberson said." -- "on
paid administrative leave"? Good grief, bet that probably adds on to their paid
vacation time and pensions.

L-E story: "COLUMBUS, Ga. -The Kendrick Cherokees don’t want to talk about
last year. * Dukes doesn’t play coy with how he plans to keep that momentum: Run
the ball, and run it a lot. * “This year we’re going to be more of a power
team,” he said. “We're bigger. We have some running backs that are almost 300
pounds, and they can move, so our opponents might want to get ready. We're going
to pound." * “Across the front line, everybody is bigger than 300 (pounds) and
all of us are benching more than 300,” said senior lineman Ryan Pearson." --
Hmmm.. Sounds like Michelle Obama's lunchroom fight against obesity has lost.
You know, when I was in high school we had two 270-pound players. The rest of
the linemen were between 190-215 pounds and we were in the largest division in
GA. By yesterday standards, today's football fields should be widened so there's
a chance for a running back to get outside the defensive line.

LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Dropping a few bucks in the collection plate on
Sunday and thumping your Bibles won’t be your ticket to Heaven. Neither will
smug beliefs of what a good Christian you are. It’s your behavior, stupid!" --
Obviously this "soundoffer" is not a believer.. Christ doesn't expect us to be
perfect. He expects us to seek His presence, and seek His forgiveness when we
fail to be perfect. I feel sorry for this "soundoffer", BUT, his/her acceptance
of Christ as his/her Savior can still change his/her life forever.

Our State Representative made a comment about my opinion that our Mayor
Obamalinson's "ears" pick up on people wanting more "bike grid" in Columbus. Our
Representative said he hears more clamoring for safer streets than "bike grids".
Hmmm... Hey, Josh.. the difference is that Mayor Obamlinson and her Democrat
playmates can deliver more bike trails, but not safer streets.
---
L-E's "Today in history" feature: "On this date: In 1782, Gen. George
Washington created the Order of the Purple Heart, a decoration to recognize
merit in enlisted men and noncommissioned officers." -- Hmmm... "enlisted men
and noncommissioned officers"... Bet George Washington sneered when John Kerry
was awarded 3 Purple Hearts that required band-aids.

L-E story: ""The (Girls, Inc) campaign received support from elected
officials who marched with the girls and their parents at a recent fundraiser.
Those who participated included Mayor Teresa Tomlinson, Sheriff John Darr,
Marshal Greg Countryman, Columbus Councilor Bruce Huff, Municipal Court Clerk
Vivian Creighton Bishop, State Sen. Ed Harbison and State Reps. Calvin Smyre and
Carolyn Hugley." -- Hmmm with the Mayor and Smyre in attendance, both with
foundations at their beck and call, funds could have covered this year, at
least, but since the local elections are over, guess no more votes were needed.
Of course, with all the money the Crime Prevention Commission handed out to
prevent truancy and teenage pregnancy, why wasn't Girls, Inc sought after for
such a donation?

L-E's "Quotable": “If you can convince the lowest white man he’s better
than the best colored man, he won’t notice you’re picking his pocket. Hell, give
him somebody to look down on, and he’ll empty his pockets for you.” - Lyndon B.
Johnson 36th U.S. President (1908-1973)" -- Good grief.. LBJ may have been more
of a racist bigot than the Mosqued-man! This is how the Democratic Party has
thought all along, and is the only Party that labels and segregates non-whites
and non-straights from the Party leadership.

L-E story: " Another day, another honor: Movoto, the same real estate
blog that recently ranked the 15 best restaurants in Columbus, has now named
Phenix City one of the most exciting places in Alabama." -- Hmmm. and recently,
an online dining reservations' site listed the 30 best BBQ restaurants in
America. There's something messed up about web sites with agenda making "lists".
Have you ever eaten good barbeque at a restaurant that required reservations to
dine?
