HuffPost headline/story: "Private autopsy reveals Brown was shot 6 times * - Attorney General Eric Holder on Sunday ordered a federal medical examiner to perform another autopsy on a black Missouri teenager whose fatal shooting by a white police officer has spurred a week of rancorous and sometimes-violent protests in suburban St. Louis. * Federal authorities also want to calm any public fears that no action will be taken on the case, Weinstein said." -- "private autopsy"? "public fears that no action will be taken"? ... Good grief... there's nothing "private" about a federal ordered autopsy, and the greatest public fear is that justice will end up in a mainstream media lynching before all the evidence is compiled and examined.
---
From above story: "Dr. Michael Baden, a former New York City chief medical examiner, told The New York Times that one of the bullets entered the top of Brown's skull, suggesting that his head was bent forward when he suffered a fatal injury." -- This confirms the witness's conversation in the first item, and supports the officer's accounting. Brown was described in both accountings to have made a "bumrush" charge at the officer. At 6'4" and 292 pounds, and the first bullets having no effect on stopping Brown's movement, it looks like the officer was defending himself. The bullet to the top of Brown's probably occurred when Brown was falling forward.
---
From above story: "Brown was also shot four times in the right arm, and all the bullets were fired into his front,Dr. Michael Baden, ME said." -- Additional confirmation of my analysis above, the recorded witness' voice, and the officer's recount. 4 shots to the arm (great humanitarian aim, I might add) failed to get the 6'4", 292 pound 18 year old Brown to stop (the 'voice' in the "witnesses recording said "I’m thinking the police kept missing – he like – be like – but he kept coming toward him"). The officer than took self-defense aim.
---
HuffPost "headlie": "Ferguson Police Fire Tear Gas At Protesters Hours Before Curfew" -- Further in the story, "In a press conference early Monday (that's today!) morning, Missouri Highway Patrol Capt. Ron Johnson, who is now in charge of security in Ferguson, said officers were commanded to throw tear gas after members of the crowd began throwing molotov cocktails at the police. You know.. mainstream media needs to be sued for their part in disseminating half-truths-to-outright-lies.. There is a difference in "freedom of the Press", and intentional maliciousness.
---
From the "Where'sWaldObama" department: "When two-star Major General Harold Greene, the highest-ranking officer killed in combat since Vietnam, was laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday, neither the President nor the Vice President were present. * The nominal Commander-in-Chief Barack Obama was playing a round at the Vineyard Golf Club with Valerie Jarrett’s cousin, Cyrus Walker, the World Bank president and former President of Dartmouth College Jim Kim, and former lobbyist and ambassador Ron Kirk. * Joe Biden was in the middle of the third day of a week long vacation in the Hamptons, which followed a week in Wyoming, which was preceded by a week at Rehoboth Beach in Delaware." -- And mainstream media will yawn because it was just another military death, and Obamageddon & Bleep Veep Biden needed to rest.
---
Online quote source: " “Sometimes people don't understand the promises they're making when they make them. But you keep the promise anyway. That's what love is. Love is keeping the promise anyway.”- John Green" -- Would someone please nail this to all the pictures of Obamageddon pictures on him swearing to defend our Constitution and country...

Online story: "Less than two years after the deadly terrorist attacks in Benghazi, Libya that killed four Americans, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is poised to sign off on an amendment reversing the ban on Libyans attending flight schools in the United States and training here in nuclear science, which was enacted following a wave or terrorist attacks in 1980s and prevents Libyans from studying these sensitive trades in the United States. * The original law effectively disqualified all Libyan nationals and those “acting on behalf of Libyan entities” from training in “aviation maintenance, flight operations, or nuclear-related fields,” according to the ban. * DHS said the prohibition is irrelevant now since the United States and Libya have worked to “normalize their relationship,” according to the directive approved by the OMB" -- Good grief.. tell how this benefits the US.. the world for that matter.

The LL team with "the girl" won the American division of the LL World Series.. no turning back.. no turning back.
---
From the "what I found on the I-net" department: "Buffaloes/Bisons ahelped make the Plains Indians a formidable enemy to the U.S. government and the country's plans for westward expansion so a campaign of extermination began, and an estimated 50 million buffalo were killed * "They did it to put stress on the population of the Native Americans," * "Take away their food source, take away their shelter source, take away their livelihood, and you can control them."" -- Hmmm, like I have previously contended, the NFL team named the "Buffalo Bills" is far more offensive to Native Americans" than "Washington Redskins".

Online headline: "ABC News anchor Elizabeth Vargas returns to rehab" -- Oooops, my bad.. thought maybe she had told a truth "on air", and was having regrets.
---
L-E headline: "Dollar General enters bidding for Family Dollar" -- Ooops, my bad.. Thought maybe Dollar General had countered Dollar Tree's offer with one of 99-cents on the dollar.

L-E story: " A Detroit suburb known for an abundance of hookah cafes has ordered that no new ones be opened in the next six months. * On a 5-2 vote last week, the Dearborn City Council approved a 180-day moratorium on new hookah cafes or cigar bars. * The Detroit Free Press reports Monday the move comes amid concern that some establishments are operating illegally and hurting the community's health. * Moratorium opponents say it will harm business and unfairly targets establishments popular with Arab Americans." -- Hmmm... now, does that mean that the Arab Americans are American citizens .....?
---
L-E story: "Columbus Mayor Teresa Tomlinson will give a presentation on economic development Monday night at a meeting of the Muscogee County School Board. * Expected to be with Tomlinson are Columbus City Manager Isaiah Hugley, City Councilor Judy Thomas and representatives from the Greater Columbus Georgia Chamber of Commerce. * Tomlinson will discuss the Redevelopment Powers Act, which will be on the ballot here in November. * Tomlinson said on Sunday that voters will decide whether to grant specific redevelopment powers to local government. She believes these powers can provide growth without raising taxes and spur private business in what are now blighted areas" -- Hmmm.. First.."discuss the Redevelopment Powers Act (with the MCSD Board... 3 of which are lame duck)".. isn't this akin to illegal campaigning by an employee of the City? * Secondly..Mayor Obamalinson "believes these powers can provide growth without raising taxes"...Good Grief.. everything Obamalinson proposes increase taxes.. none of the projects (natatorium, bike trail, dog park, Whitewater, $244K bathrooms, 2nd Ice Skating rink, employee healthcare) she's involved in actually produce tax revenues to cover their expenses so our taxes are higher than they need to be and she can't propose a budget that doesn't dip into out "fund reserve" or City employees' pockets.
---
L-E story: "Over or under, that is the question. City leaders are considering three proposed solutions for the long-plagued “spiderweb” intersection of Buena Vista Road at Martin Luther King Boulevard and Illges, Andrews, Morris, Brennan and St. Marys roads. The intersection also includes an active Norfolk Southern rail line." -- Hmmm.. " Over or under, that is the question."....Seems to me, this answer has been made not too long ago.. just look at Veterans Parkway and Second Avenue and First Avenue and 11th Street. the DOT went over the tracks that crossed Veterans & 2nd Ave, and the streets, the streets that go under the RR tracks at 1st Ave just north of TSYS, and the 11th Street Viaduct flood if it rains more than a sprinkle.

LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Police officers who get the attitude that they are above the law should seek another profession, because they are a ticking bomb. Just look what happened in Missouri." -- Yeah.. look what has happened in Ferguson, Missouri.. misinformation, and overreaction has created a mob mentality public lynching site... and that's just from the inaccuracies and speculation of the mainstream media printing/airing what it wants to say.. facts be damned.
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": "With the exception of Fox and right-wing radio, news reports and economic indicators tells us America is in much better shape than in 2008. If Obama “ruined” your country, tell us what country you’re from." -- Hmmm, it might be interesting to know what country this LIV is from.. obviously he/she wasn't here prior to that and getting his/her daily dose of Kool-Aid beginning in 2009.
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " I’m not a minority, but with the Ferguson incident, I believe the African-American witnesses more than the police. And that’s a shame when you can’t believe what police tell you." -- Well, well, well.. another "jump to whatever the mainstream media reports without proof" soundoffer.. now video recording are dissipating "witness" (unverified, unsworn witnesses at that) claims and supporting the police offer's accounting. Wanna bet that doesn't make in the L-E on the "front page/above the fold"?
---
You know.. I really don't blame the LIVs for their ignorance. They have been so accustomed to react on first mainstream media presentations, but lack the public education to read about the truth when it comes out, and mainstream media is not about to apologize and restate the situation in terms its "believers" can grasp.
---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “The self-hatred that destroys is the waste of unfulfilled promise.” — Moss Hart, American playwright and director (1904-1961) -- Now this is something you'll never hear Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton repeat..
---
L-E's "Quotable" : “I often regret that I have spoken; never that I have been silent.” - Publilius Syrus Roman author (85-43 B.C.) -- Hmmm, this guy was no Nathan Hale, nor an Aryan during the Holocaust.
---
From L-E's "Looking back | Fifty years ago today, August 18, 1964": feature: "Broadcasts from Communist Cuba and Red China have been pouring out a torrent of advice to American Negroes to take to the streets in armed revolutionary violence and even guerrilla war. * The Chinese claim Negro violence in America must be encouraged in the name of “the national liberation movement.” -- Hmmm.. now Cuba is dormant, but China learned to attack from within by buying American government "debt" and holding it over Obamageddon's head.
---
L-E feature: "5 questions with Michael Armstrong Sr.* Teaching students to succeed" -- Wow.. what a refreshing attitude to come out of our school system... hope it doesn't get Michael Armstrong fired.

In the Dick's Sporting Goods Open, Kevin Sutherland shot a second round 59 (with a bogey on 18 at that). He finished, technically, at tied for 7th. No matter how wonderful a 59 is, it doesn't mean as much when one "sandwiches" it in between a 71 and a 74.
