Ironic or morbid? Atty Gen Holder is in Ferguson, MO. His department sent guns to Mexican cartels, and one of such is known to have been used in killing a US border agent, and Holder is still not convicted.

AP writer: "Online court records show that Wilson's mother - Tonya Durso, also known as Tonya Harris - pleaded guilty in 2001 to a dozen felony stealing and forgery counts in Missouri's St. Charles County just west of St. Louis and was sentenced to five years on probation, with the judge suspending a five-year prison sentence. Durso was 35 when she died in 2002, and Wilson was placed under the guardianship of Tyler Harris until a St. Charles County judge dissolved that in mid-2004. * Wilson, who has Missouri hunting and fishing licenses, did not answer the AP's knock Tuesday on his door at his brick, ranch-style home in Missouri's Crestwood, a largely white St. Louis suburb some 18 miles southwest of Ferguson" -- Talk about yellow journalism.. AP writer Jim Suhr (I'm pretty sure this (_*_) cannot be related to our late and beloved John Suhr) is vilifying Officer Darren Wilson by association with his mother's frailties, and by publishing close enough directions to Wilson's home that some wacko can find it. This same (_*_) is anti-death sentences, yet is trying to lynch Wilson in his writings.
---
Another Jim Suhr (_*_)rticle: " Outside the St. Louis County Justice Center in Clayton, where the grand jury was expected to convene, two dozen protesters gathered in a circle for a prayer, chanted, and held signs urging prosecutor Bob McCulloch to step aside. * McCulloch's deep family connections to police have been cited by some black leaders who question his ability to be impartial in the case of Darren Wilson - the white officer who fatally shot the unarmed Brown on Aug. 9. McCulloch's father, mother, brother, uncle and cousin all worked for the St. Louis Police Department, and his father was killed while responding to a call involving a black suspect" -- You know.. is there anyone who thinks there has been sufficient time for even a preliminary investigation, much less time for compiling a Grand Jury presentation? Of course not, yet this (_*_) opponent of death sentences is assassinating police officers' and other officials' character with a biased vengeance in trying to get an old time western saloon trial with a hanging judge.

LL World Series update. "the girl", Mo'ne's Philadelphia team lost last night but square off against Chicago's team tonight to see who will advance to the finals of the American division on Saturday. Tonight's game would be a perfect time for Obamageddon to make an appearance at Williamsport. He could throw out the first pitch at a game featuring the "Filly-delphia girl" and his hometown Chicago. Wow, Mo'ne' won't be eligible to pitch, but the audience would still be able to see a girlish pitcher throw out the first pitch.

Online headline/story: "Global warming will soon resume, scientists say * A new study has scientists concerned that the recent slowing of global warming is only temporary and that temperatures are poised to resume dramatically rising. * Researchers cited lower-than-expected sun irradiance and fluctuations in the El Niño/La Niña cycles in the Pacific Ocean for the departure, but found both are expected to soon return to expected levels." -- "soon resume"? I guess these scientists are waiting for the re-emergence of Algore, the "Chicken Little" of climate.

Online story: " Kendra Turner, a student at Dyer County High School in Newbern, TN, tells her side of the story in which she said "bless you" to a student in keyboarding class, after the student sneezed.
According to Turner, who is a senior, she was reprimanded by the teacher, who said, "We will not have Godly speaking in my class." * Turner said she then told the teacher that her pastor said she had a "Constitutional right ... First Amendment Freedom of Speech." * Turner said she was sent to the office and suspended from the keyboarding class." -- "We will not have Godly speaking in my class"? You know.. a few centuries ago, the teacher would have been arrested and charged with heresy ...

Online story: " The Los Angeles Times reports that minors deported to Honduras over the last month are being killed. * A morgue director in the city Honduran city of San Pedro Sula told The Los Angeles Times that “at least five, perhaps as many as 10” children killed there since February had been deported from the United States." -- Good grief.. the death of a child, any child is a trgedy, but this story reeks of contrivance to serve a writer's bias and prejudice.
---
From the "look what you find by accident when on the I-net" department - Online story: "When the leftwing Sandinista government rose to power in Nicaragua, it did not please Washington. In 1979, the United States began years of financing the "Contras," a rightwing group responsible for committee atrocities and smuggling drugs into the United States with the Reagan administration's knowledge." -- Good grief... Reagan didn't take office until January of 1981.. Sorry you libs, but 1979 & 1980 belonged to Cuzzin Jimmy Carter.
---
Online headline/story: "Mike Ditka Lashes Out At Redskins Name Critics: 'It's So Much Horse Sh-t * “What’s all the stink over the Redskin name? It’s so much horse sh*t it’s incredible. We’re going to let the liberals of the world ruin this world'" -- Hmmm.. of course, libs ignore the most offensive NFL nickname,, the Buffalo BILLs.. Buffalo Bill Cody was hired by the US government to massacre buffaloes so the Indians/Native Americans would have to leave the areas for lack of available food supply. I guess the libs ignore this because Jon Bon Jovi is interested in buying the team, and I guess libs think he will give them free half-time concerts. Who knows?
---
Online headline: "NFL reportedly asking music acts to pay for playing Super Bowl halftime show" -- Well, we know how the NFL will rule if there is competition from another Buffalo Bills' buyer for the group around Bon Jovi.
---
HuffPost headline: "McCain Calls For Dramatic Increase In US Airstrikes Against Islamic State" -- Hmmm, will someone put a rucksack on McCain and send him into Iraq?

All of a sudden there's this alarm at deaths of criminals at the hand of police officers.. in 2013, there were 33 cops killed by gunfire, the lowest number since 1887. An FBI compilation suggests (no definitive answer available.. to me.. at least at this time) at least 400 police killings each year that were reported by local police, and less than 100 involve a white officer killing a black criminal. There is a reason our officers carry weapons.. criminals who carry weapons. In fact, we know of at least one criminal that the DOJ supplied the weapons that were used in killing a federal Border Agent. On the other hand, those killed by law enforcement will not, hurt, maim, or kill others in the future.. Wish our death sentences from courts were carried out promptly so future criminals might rethink their "career" plans.
---
Excuse me, but when was the last time you saw whites rioting or looting because a white criminal was gunned down by either a white or black police officer? It's a cultural problem/phenom.... not racism.
--
There's a real tight race in the Louisiana US Senate race. The incumbent Democrat is staying as far away from Obamageddon as she can, claiming she pro Keystone Pipeline, and will use her influence to pass it. "Influence"? If she had any, other than being a Reid-puppet, she would have had Reid bring the House version of that bill to the Senate floor for a vote.
---
You know.. if the government wants to know... wants to show the condition of the Public School systems, government would require private and home schools to take all the tests the government uses to evaluate public schools. This would give legislators and parents ammunition to initiate real improvements in the public school systems. A school voucher program would likely get a 100% bi-partisan approval.
---
Online headline: "Friend of Alleged Boston Bomber to Plead Guilty, Lawyer Says" -- You know.. this.. the fact that Bomber Brother 2, caught red-handed in the Marathon bombings, is still considered "alleged", while Ferguson policeman Darren Wilson was tried and convicted by mainstream media within hours of the shooting death of a criminal.
---
Online headline: "High court blocks same-sex unions in Virginia * The Supreme Court is delaying the start of same-sex marriage in Virginia." -- Hmmm.. well we do know the eventual decision will be a 5-4 vote.. mainly because we know Justices Breyer, Ginsburg, Kagan and Sotomayor are not flexible on any liberal issue, regardless of what the law or Constitution says.
---
Online story: "Attorney General Eric Holder went to the strife torn town of Ferguson today where he met with the family of slain teenager Michael Brown and talked about his own run-ins with police that left him "angry and upset." * The nation’s top law enforcement official, who is the first African-American named to the post, said he hoped his presence and interest in the case would have a “calming influence on the area.” * “I am the attorney general of the United States. But I am also a black man,” Holder said. “I've confronted this myself.” -- BS! Double BS.. now, since Pric Holder is the head of the Department of Justice, why didn't he meet with Officer Wilson, a law enforcement officer sworn to protect the public, first?
---
Online story: "The Ferguson police officer who shot and killed an unarmed teenager suffered “a serious facial injury” in the altercation before firing the fatal shots, according to a source close to the officer who spoke to ABC News today. * The characterization about Officer Darren Wilson being injured in his confrontation with Michael Brown emerged on the day that a grand jury was expected to begin hearing evidence in the shooting. Attorney General Eric Holder also visited Ferguson today, meeting with Brown's family and telling them the federal investigation would be a "fair and independent inquiry." -- "The characterization about Officer Darren Wilson being injured in his confrontation with Michael Brown emerged on the day that a grand jury was expected to begin hearing evidence "? Having had my super orbital bone shattered in my youth, I am very aware of the force needed to fracture the orbital bone as happened at the hands of Michael Brown. The guy that cause my fracture was 6'7" and weighed "but" 245 pounds, so I can imagine what the impact would have been if he'd been nearly 50 pounds heavier as was Michael Brown. That said.. I repeat an earlier question.. how can a complete, a fully investigated presentation have been complied in less than 2 weeks to take to a Grand Jury?

L-E headline: "SOA Watch may protest on Fort Benning Road under new plan" -- Good grief....if the L-E simply ignored this group, no one would even be concerned. In fact, the only influx of SOA Watchers would be if the L-E sent an extra photographer out to the site.
---
From above story: "Two months after the city of Columbus placed restrictions on a permit for the annual School of the Americas Watch protest at the Fort Benning Road gate, city officials offered a compromise plan on Tuesday that would allow the group to protest and keep two lanes of traffic open as requested by Fort Benning." -- Why is the City negotiating with this group? Assembly permits for the right to assemble/protest should be 'one rule' for all applicants.
---
L-E headline: "WHISTLE-BLOWER LAWSUIT * ATTORNEY: CANCER CENTER MUST PROVIDE DOCUMENTS * Columbus Regional lawyer says documents are protected by attorney-client privilege" -- Excuse me but how can billing records to get taxpayer money be "protected attorney-client" info"
---
L-E story: "A Columbus police officer in uniform was assaulted Wednesday morning for the second time this summer in Smiths Station, Ala., according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office." -- Hmmm, I think I'd move back to Columbus..
---
L-E story: "After sifting through a jury pool of 60 Columbus residents Tuesday, attorneys in the murder retrial of Kareem Lane settled on a panel of 12 plus three alternates. * The jury’s racial makeup was an issue, as prosecutors and defense attorney Stacey Jackson accused each other of striking prospective jurors because of race. * The jury Superior Court Judge Bobby Peters seated at 2:35 p.m. had five black women, three white women, two black men and two white men. The three alternates were a black man and two black women." -- Excuse me... but why should it matter what the racial composition of the jury is? All 12 should only be concerned with justice.
---
L-E headline: "OBAMA, ALLIES VOW FIRM RESPONSE TO ISLAMIC STATE" -- Hmmm, of course, we don't know who Obamageddon considers as allies. We think of our traditional ones.. GB, France, Israel etc, but we have to consider Obamageddon may consider ISIS/Taliban & al Qaida his closest ones.

Online story: "One of those who accepted the "Ice Bucket Challenge" was 86-year-old Ethel Kennedy, the widow of Senator Robert F. Kennedy, who took part in a mass challenge event on 10 August 2014 involving numerous members of the Kennedy clan and others, then challenged President Obama to do the same, declaring "Welcome to Cape Cod, President Obama. I nominate you": * The White House spin-team responded: "The President appreciates Mrs. Kennedy thinking of him for the challenge — though his contribution to this effort will be monetary. The President [will] be making a donation to an ALS charity this week" * Likewise, Columbus's Mayor responded to a similar challenge by a prominent local hospital CEO with "her schedule wouldn't allow her time to get doused, then get dried off and changed and then get to her next meeting. So she's opting to write a check instead." -- Now does anyone have a doubt why I refer to her as Mayor Obamalinson? Besides.. she could do it at home before she takes her next shower.
---
L-E story: "ALBANY, N.Y. — Macy’s has agreed to pay $650,000 to settle allegations of racial profiling at its flagship store in Manhattan’s Herald Square. * Under the agreement signed Tuesday with New York’s attorney general, the retailer will adopt new policies on police access to its security camera monitors and against profiling, further train employees, investigate customer complaints, keep better records of detentions and report for three years on its compliance. * Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said the settlement should help ensure customers are treated equally regardless of race or ethnicity at the retail giant’s 42 department stores statewide." -- Good grief.. another travesty of justice... it's a shame that the criminal element gets a new coat of paint as a "victim" because another business is faced with the stark reality that defending it's rights cost more that kowtowing to the "justice department" to stop the flow of money needed to continue the fight.
