Wow! A high school diploma with a future. Guess them country boys and gals ate
more grits than others.

House Republicans proposed a bill that would allow people to keep
purchasing group plans that are currently available. Their attempt to give
people more options, and allowing them to keep plans they were promised they
could, was met with criticism from Rep. Anna Eshoo (D-CA). * Rep. Eshoo said,
“Your plan is whining. Your plan is suing the president and using taxpayer
dollars. I hope no more Saturday Night Live whining is brought up in legislation
because it’s not attractive, it’s not truthful, and it really does not fit with
the dignity of the American people.” -- "Saturday Night Live whining"..."does
not fit the dignity of the American people"? You know... the only 'whining' I
hear is from liberals wanting more government handouts.. whether it's about
undeserved wages, or treatment of illegal invaders, or tough education
standards.

Interesting...when IRS was exposed for illegally checking out conservative
groups and information, Democrats ran interference against Republican
investigations, yet when the Democrats find out that the CIA has been checking
them out, prying into their emails, Democrats start calling for the Director of
the CIA to be fired. Hmmm, bet the CIA has some interesting data on the
Democrats. Can't wait until the FIA requests pour in.

Looks like our Border Agents ( and their families) are being exposed to
chicken pox, scabies, and TB. These illegal minors are not screened and/or
quarantined before they are being dispersed to all corners of our country,
either.

Online story stumbled upon - "At Rocky Mountain High School in Fort
Collins, Colorado, earlier this year a member of their “Cultural Arms Club” led
the entire student body in an Arabic version of our Pledge of Allegiance,
replacing the words “under God” with “under Allah.” * Representative Ibrahim
Hooper from CAIR, a Muslim Brotherhood front group, told Fox News the storm of
controversy was ´racist´ in nature * “How on earth is it un-American to recite
the Pledge of Allegiance in another language,” Hooper asked. “It doesn’t make
sense unless the people complaining are anti-Muslim or anti-middle eastern
bigots.” -- " controversy was ´racist´ in nature"? "people complaining are
anti-Muslim or anti-middle eastern bigots"? How quickly do factions learn that
to get mainstream media support, just make up a way to throw the "race card"..
whether it applies or not. Now, I suggest Mr Ibrahim Hooper of CAIR go to the
Muslim middle-east country of his choice, and "Praise God" in Arabic , English,
or Hebrew and see how long his head stays attached to the rest of his body...
that way, for one fleeting moment, he'll know what bigotry actually is.

Online headline/story: "Exposed: the US vice-president and his secret vice
* Joe Biden enjoys skinny dipping in the pool at his official residence in
Washington, the Naval Observatory., according to a new book supposedly based on
gossip from Secret Service agents" -- Quite a revelation that Bleep Veep Biden
likes to 'skinny dip'. I guess that does explain the Selective Service code
names for the prez & v-prez. Last week we learned that the Mosqued-man was
referred to as "the bear". I guess they refer to Biden-my-time as 'the
BARE'.
---
Hmmm...One thing about Bleep Veep Biden liking to 'skinny dip'... It
doesn't take long to see if he takes Botox treatments to remove lower
wrinkles.

Online story: "The top federal prosecutor in Manhattan is threatening to
widen an investigation into New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's handling of an
anti-corruption commission, as the Democratic governor lawyers up in the face of
what could be a politically ill-timed probe. * Cuomo is considered a potential
Democratic contender for the 2016 presidential race. But his administration is
facing questions about whether it meddled with an anti-corruption commission
when a top aide, Larry Schwartz, urged commissioners not to investigate entities
with links to Cuomo. * Cuomo abruptly shut down the commission this spring." --
Good grief... is it a requirement of candidates for the Democratic Party
nomination to have an active scandal investigation in full force at all
times?

Online story: " Kanye West has recently explained that he will be leaving
the country – for good. Apparently, the United States is just too racist to live
in anymore, and he’ll be darned if his daughter will encounter such negativity."
-- Hmmm... yeah right... Kanye makes a great living for himself selling race
baiting songs, making a public spectacle of his racism on music award shows, and
now complains that people think he is a racist? Of course, the number one reason
he wants to move out of the US is to take his Company to a country with better
tax rates. Let him go, but... BUT ban him from doing business in the US in the
future. Oh, can we make him take Kim as a condition of severing the cord?

Online story: "The U.S. Department of Education has granted Georgia an
extended exemption from certain parts of the No Child Left Behind Act." -- Huh?
If you wondered whether there is a limit to government inefficiency, worry no
more..there isn't.. Last I heard, the No Child Left Behind Act was scrapped and
was replaced with Common Core, so why is the DOE still concerned with the NCLB
Act?

Online headline/story: "Piers Morgan hurls 'graceless' insult at Larry King
* Speaking with WGRF radio station on Wednesday, King called Morgan's interview
style "pompous" and speculated that this was what led to the show's troubling
ratings. Morgan took over King's 9 p.m. time slot in 2011, and King said that
Morgan did not transition well into the role. * Morgan responded ... a lot ...
on Friday, calling King a "graceless, petty little man" -- ROFLMAO... no wonder
these guys are anti-gun... neither knows which end the bullets come out
of.

Online headline: "Barney Frank 'Appalled' By Obama Administration: 'They

Online story: " A Florida judge is ordering legislators to hold a special
session to draw up a new state congressional map after the original one was
ruled illegal. * Circuit Judge Terry Lewis has already ruled the current
districts are illegal because they were drawn to benefit the Republican Party. *
Voters in 2010 passed the "Fair Districts" amendment that says legislators
cannot draw up districts to favor incumbents or a political party." -- Good
grief... the Republicans hold 17 of the 27 Florida Districts.. how can you not
draw up districts that don't favor what the voters elected. You can always
guess the political party of judges.

HuffPost headline: "Obama Calls For Unconditional Release Of Captured

HuffPost headline: "Obama On Border Crisis: House Bill 'Extreme And

Online story: "LOS ANGELES (AP) - One of the most prolific killers in Los
Angeles history was given additional death sentences Friday for four killings
linked to him through DNA testing while he was on death row. * Ch****** D.
T***** was convicted of murdering a total of 14 women between 1987 and 1998,
when the city was in the grips of a crack cocaine epidemic. * Family members of
the victims were jubilant.."It's judgment day," said Gwendolyn Cameron, whose
sister Cynthia Johnson was a victim in the most recent case. "He got what he had
coming. The sooner they execute him, the better we'll all be. He's a menace to
society." -- This is what's wrong with death sentences.. these murders happened
16-to-27 years ago, and not only is "he" still breathing... now another case for
appeals has entered the picture. Death sentences should be ordered to be carried
out within a set time.

Online story: "President Barack Obama bluntly acknowledged on Friday that
the United States conducted torture in the immediate aftermath of the Sept. 11,
2001, terror attacks. * "I was very clear that in the immediate aftermath of
9/11, we did some things that were wrong," he said. "We did a whole lot of
things that were right, but we tortured some folks. We did some things that were
contrary to our values." * "We crossed the line and that needs to be understood
and accepted. And we have to, as a country, take responsibility for that so we
don't do it in the future," he added." -- You know... this is about as pathetic
as Factless Shrugged has ever been... if there is any further apologizing he
needs to make, it's to America.
---
Looking back at Michelle Obama's claim that for the first time in her life,
she was proud of America, it now makes sense.. she has no idea what America is
about.

Online story: "Tom Willis was born without arms, but that hasn't stopped
him from learning how to cook, drive, write… and throw a ceremonial first pitch
at a Major League Baseball game. * On Thursday night, Willis, who was born with
congenital bilateral upper amputation, wowed the crowd at a Kansas City Royals
game when he threw out the first pitch -- with his feet" -- Amazing...there is
probably a more precise word to describe this moment, but "amazing" is something
we all understand. This is an earlier video from Boston - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdgFrtassNc

Online story: "The Obama administration’s four-year defense strategy lacks
funding needed for fulfilling global military missions and the U.S. military
faces “high risk” in the world unless changes are made, according to a
bipartisan report by a congressionally backed panel of defense experts." -- Deja
vu.. Clinton... you know, when 9-11-01 "happened" (as in "S*** Happens), it took
Bush43 18 months to get our military back up to speed to retaliate.. can you
imagine if Hillewinsky Clinton gets elected, and another terrorist attack of
similar magnitude happens, whether she would even try to rebuild our
military?
---
L-E story: " Three Alabama corrections officers have been arrested after
they smuggled marijuana and cigarettes into the Russell County Jail, officials
announced just days after a similar arrest in Muscogee County." -- Hmmm... I
guess the new 13th and 14th Street bridges have really connected Columbus, GA
& Phenix City, AL is more ways than one.. now we see deputies of both are
running smuggling operations, both have been suckered into excessive
expenditures on Whitewater, and both have dysfunctional school boards and
Councils... Of course, Phenix City does win the battle on Mayors trying to
insure the future health of their communities.
---
.L-E headline: "Auburn football: Nick Marshall, Jonathon Mincy will not
start season opener" -- Good grief... a proper 'punishment' would be to be held
out of a game of importance. The team should suffer so that individuals get the
picture that their decisions affect everyone on the team.
---
L-E story: "Colorado, which has legalized the recreational use of
marijuana, currently requires edible pot to be sold in child-safe packages to
note that the contents contain marijuana, that the product can make consumers
sick and shouldn’t be consumed before driving." -- "shouldn't be consumed before
driving"? Good grief... now that the state of Colorado acknowledges the danger
of marijuana as debilitating. shouldn't the Colorado Supreme Court overrule the
new state law?

LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Minimum wage earners: 56 percent are women; 55
percent work full time; 44 percent are college graduates. We were middle class
before Bush’s great recession. We vote." -- Here we go.. another lib spewing of
skewed/made up "facts". --
Cato Institute facts:
1 - Nearly 20 million young people ages 16 to 24 were working before the
first increase in the minimum wage went into effect in 2007, but that number
fell to 16.9 million shortly after the final increase. The unemployment rate for
teens jumped from 15% to 25%.
2 - 1,566,000 people were paid the minimum wage in 2012, or 1.1% of all
142.5 million civilian employees, the Bureau of Labor Statistics says
3 - The percentage of jobs that paid the minimum wage did finally rise in
2009 and 2010. The numerical increase mainly consisted of people who had
previously earned more than the minimum, not less. Also, minimum wage employees
were a larger fraction of all workers in 2010 than in 2007 because jobs had
fallen by nearly 6.2 million.
4 - The percentage of jobs that paid the minimum wage did finally rise in
2009 and 2010. The numerical increase mainly consisted of people who had
previously earned more than the minimum, not less. Also, minimum wage employees
were a larger fraction of all workers in 2010 than in 2007 because jobs had
fallen by nearly 6.2 million.
Now from Forbes:
First, people should acknowledge that this rather heated policy discussion
is over a very small group of people. According to the Bureau of Labor
Statistics there are about 3.6 million workers at or below the minimum wage (you
can be below legally under certain conditions). That is 2.5 percent of all
workers and 1.5 percent of the population of potential workers. Within that
small group, 31 percent are teenagers and 55 percent are 25 years old or
younger. That leaves only about 1.1 percent of all workers over 25 and 0.8
percent of all Americans over 25 earning the minimum wage.

L-E story: "The National Park Service has tentatively approved a plan that
envisions government sharpshooters killing more than 2,800 white-tailed deer at
three Civil War battlefields in Maryland and Virginia over the next five years
to curb damage to plants and trees." -- Hmmm - guess the Democratic Party base
is split on this.. PETA is in an uproar, and the tree-huggers are silently
celebrating. Of course, if Bush43 had ordered this, the tree-huggers AND
PETA would be in an uproar.
---
L-E's "Late laughs": " ACTOR ORLANDO Bloom threw a punch at Justin Bieber
last night during an argument at a night club in Spain. Orlando’s hand was
pretty sore today, you know, from all the high-fives he got." -- Jimmy Fallon"
-- Heh heh heh.. right on Jimmy.. you, too, Orlando!
---
L-E headline: "Lawmaker backs return to electric chair" -- Boooo! I'm just
now appreciating the longer extended IV death sequences. They get the job done,
and I enjoy hearing liberals squeal about it being 'unfair' that the murders
look like they aren't having a fun time dying for what they've done.
---
L-E story: "Democratic Senate candidate Michelle Nunn wants five debates
with Republican David Perdue leading up to the Nov. 4 general election. * Nunn
said in a prepared statement Friday that the pair should meet across Georgia in
events hosted by nonpartisan groups." -- Who is Michelle Nunn? I thought there
was a Michelle Martin on the ballot, but this request, from either of her egos,
clearly demonstrates her lack of knowledge, her lack of reality, her lack of
common sense. How can any group be described as "nonpartisan". Groups are formed
because they have a common purpose/goal.
