Online story: " A grand jury indicted Texas Gov. Rick Perry on Friday for allegedly abusing the powers of his office by carrying out a threat to veto funding for state prosecutors investigating public corruption - making the possible 2016 presidential hopeful his state's first indicted governor in nearly a century. * A special prosecutor spent months calling witnesses and presenting evidence that Perry broke the law when he promised publicly to nix $7.5 million over two years for the public integrity unit run by the office of Travis County District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg. Lehmberg, a Democrat, was convicted of drunken driving, but refused Perry's calls to resign. * politics dominates the case. Lehmberg is based in Austin, which is heavily Democratic, in contrast to most of the rest of fiercely conservative Texas. The grand jury was comprised of Austin-area residents." -- Good grief.., another liberal media bias presentation based on politics. Texas, like every state gives the governor veto power, and the Legislative Body a way to override such vetoes if it disagrees.

Online media pot stirring account: "The family of an unarmed black Missouri teen fatally shot Saturday by a police officer is seething after authorities named him as a suspect in a robbery in the minutes before he was killed. * Michael Brown, 18, was shot August 9 by white police officer Darren Wilson, 28, after authorities claim he robbed a convenience store and got into a physical altercation with the cop. Brown's family addressed those claims in a scathing statement." If media wanted to focus on what happened, then it wouldn't have mattered what race the teen or the policeman was, it should simply been ""unarmed Missouri teen" and "by police officer Darren Wilson". The fact that race was FEATURED convicts the mainstream media. Of course, the use of "unarmed Missouri teen" conjures up the image of anything but an image of a 6'4"., 292 pound 18-year old man.
---
Unless the mainstream media can produce a twin brother for Michael Brown (or at least a reasonable Doppelganger) who might have been the robber of the convenience store, the mainstream media should apologize immediately, and effusively to the Ferguson Police Department and every American.

No wonder Pric Holder wants to bring in his team affiliated with the Trayvon Martin public relations team. They seemed to be able to keep pictures of 12 year old Trayvon in the forefront despite the 6' 1", 180 pound reality. At 6' 4", and 292 pounds, Michael Brown hardly fits the image the media painted for L'il Trayvon.

Zell Miller has come out for Michelle None. You know, Zell Miller brought us the lottery, too, and what seemed like a idea with good intentions had done little recently other than pad lottery executive and excessive college professors' pockets, inflate college tuitions, and constantly separate lower income families from money to buy food.

Good grief! My daughter's school had a game type scrimmage last night. They played another bigger school in Columbus. Before the game a recorded GHSA list of stadium removable fan offenses was played. I jokingly said to my bride, "I'll bet they probably aren't letting them keep score, either". Our team scored and I was relieved when it was put on the scoreboard...but that feeling was short lived.. a few minutes later, the scoreboard was cleared of the points. We won 0-to-0. Of course we scored FIVE 0s and the other team only scored ONE 0.

Online story: " New Jersey veteran was denied entry at Six Flags Great Adventure due to an “offensive” T-shirt he wore in support of the U.S. Marines. * Mario Alejandro, 33, of Woodbridge, said he was stopped while entering the theme park in Jackson on Saturday. The father of three, who took part in the initial invasion of Iraq in 2003 as a member of the Marines, said the T-shirt — emblazoned with the words “Keep Calm and Return Fire” above a red, white and blue machine gun — caught the eye of a security guard at the front gate." -- Speaking of scoring a big fat "0".. New Jersey! You know, one of those flags that Six Flags is so proud of is the flag which our veterans and current military defended/defend with their lives at stake.

L-E story: " Making violent threats to the manager of Pine Meadow Estates mobile home park and a maintenance employee landed three suspected members of the “Crips” gang in jail Thursday, Columbus police said." -- Wait a minute.. Mayor Obamalinson swore prior to the May election that Columbus doesn't have gangs! Of course, she may have opened the door for gangs to scurry to Columbus by making such an asinine boast!

WOW cable customer's L-E "soundoff": "We’ve detected an interruption in the need for your service. Checked connections again, and problem is not resolved. Don’t think you are “sorry for the inconvenience,” so finding another cable service." -- What a familiarity for WOW customers... but... have you noticed, that "error message" never appears when WOW is running an ad telling us what great service it offers.
---
You know... Mayor Obamalinson's High Speed Train "FOLLY" will be even worse than can be imagined.. If something travels that fast, TSA is going to want to check out all riders and their luggage before allowing them on... Add another two hours to what ever departure time is offered.
---
L-E story: " DanParker, an experienced racecar builder and driver who lost his sight as the result of a racing accident in 2012, will participate in the Chattahoochee Harley-Davidson Ride for Life Swap Meet, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. today, at 3230 Williams Road." -- Hmmm, he's going to have to have a greyhound racing dog as a "service animal".. one fast enough to run ahead and bark at where the potholes are!
---
L-E story: "SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Notre Dame football players Kei-Varae Russell, DaVaris Daniels, Ishaq Williams and Kendall Moore are being held out of practice while the school investigates what it is calling “suspected academic dishonesty.” -- “suspected academic dishonesty.”? In Scrabble, this could would be simply a rack clearing, 8-letter word for cheating..."CHEATING".
---
L-E story: "Former Vice President Al Gore has sued Al-Jazeera America, claiming the satellite TV service owned by the Qatari royal family has withheld $65 million of the proceeds from the sale of cable channel Current TV." -- Hmmm, now if Algore can find a process server to go to Qatar .....
