In the South, the bowl season is over til next year; hunting season resumes today.

---
Guess next football season's battle cry will be "The South Shall Rise Again!"

---
From the way it looked in the first half, I think Ohio State recruited Moses as its quarterback. At least it looked like the "Red Sea" parted whenever he ran the ball.
---
Hmmm.. Alabama and Mississippi SEC teams went 0-4 this week. Florida has already lost with FSU and Miami and has its hopes on the Gators to keep from being skunked as well.
---
The SEC West top 5 teams have gone down in bowl defeats yet the Texas A&M and Arkansas won.. as Red Allen would probably say, "How about that"...

---
NYC Mayor de Bl(_*_)io just keeps stepping in "it". An interim judge who put two men who had threatened more police officers two days after the assassination of two NYC patrolmen back on the street without any bail was re-appointed yesterday by de Bl(_*_)io. Democrat voters are their own worse enemy.

---
With all the fumbles by FSU in the 3rd quarter, I'm almost convinced that the footballs Florida State was using must have been rubbed down with cannabis oil.

---
You know..what goes around, comes around...after 29 straight wins and a Heisman trophy, Jameis Winston will be remembered for stealing crab legs, getting away with assault, and the Oregon massacre.
---
Did you see the soccer style kicker for Wisconsin? I don't think I've ever seen a soccer style kicker who Michele Obama would put on a diet. Must be something in the cheese.

---
What is Ford thinkin'...that Bubba will be happy with aluminum trucks that match his bride's cookware? And a remote automatic lift gate...didn't the Lincoln Mark1 truck teach Ford a lesson?

Online story: "According to a new report from The Washington Times, Maryland police officers have been stopping out-of-state motorists to thoroughly search their vehicles to see if these out-of-staters brought a gun into the anti-Second Amendment state. * Attorney Paul Kramer represented a Pennsylvania security officer who was pulled over in the state for speeding. The Maryland officer asked Mr. Kramer’s client whether he had a gun in the car, and once the man acknowledged he did, the officer arrested him for having the gun and the cartridge in the same locked container — not separated, as per Maryland law." -- You know, a felon would say he/she had no gun , and no search would be made. Makes you feel real safe, doesn't it?
---
Online story: "A professor of conflict resolution at Portland State University has written a blistering editorial calling for the repeal of the Second Amendment. * The professor is Tom H. H(_*_)stings. His op-ed was published last week in the Wisconsin Gazette, which describes itself as “progressive” and “alternative” (and available “in over 600 statewide locations!”). * “It is long past time to repeal the stupid Second Amendment,” the taxpayer-funded professor argues, because the “pandemic of sick violence, punctuated by mass killings of children, has gone on far, far too long.” -- Hmmm... better yet, let's repeal teacher tenure!
---
"Back to the Future"..remember..in the sequel, Marty McFly went "back" to 2015.. Happy New Year, 2015! Hey, Spielberg.. I want my money back..your predictions were way off!

Parsing the MCSD SPLOST "wish LUST":
Item 21 - Construct virtual e-library in north Columbus (an automated 24-hour facility, like a large RedBox): $400,000.00 -- Good grief.. with as many needs as our school system has for classrooms, who came up with wasting $400,000.00 plus ongoing maintenance/upkeep on this! What could this add that is not already available in homes via I-net 24/7?
Item 22 - Transportation facilities and alternative energy sources study: "$250,000.00 -- What's this for.. to get Mayor TomLYINGson to vote for and support the SPLOST "wish LUST"? Maybe the MCSD system envisions highspeed bus routes.
---
L-E headline: "Council faces decision on Claflin School" -- How about Council just taking any dollar amount thought of that would be wasted tax dollars and add that much to public safety/law enforcement needs instead?
---
HuffPOO headline: "Maryland Governor Commutes State's Remaining Death Penalties" -- Good grief.. outgoing Democrats will do anything to get more voters so a Republican won't win next election.
