An online friend of mine brings up a good... no.. an excellent point that would inject $30,000,000.00 into our City budget without costing the taxpayer another dime..(the alternative would be to reduce our property tax by 3 mils). Since OObamaCRAP is now "the law of the land". there is no more "need" for Council to send $30 MILLION annually to the Columbus Regional Hospital group. 30 years ago, when Council literally "gave" the Medical Center to the Columbus Regional group, the 3 mils were to compensate Columbus Regional for local citizen's indigent care. With OObamaCRAP, there are technically no "indigents", therefore, there's no "need" for Columbus Regional to dispense "indigent care".
