Online headline: "Step toward a coup' in Yemen capital city * Yemen's U.S.-backed leadership came under serious threat Monday as government troops clashed with Shiite rebels." -- Hmmm "U.S.-backed leadership"? You have one "guess" as to which side the Yemen/Oman Gitmo releasees are on...

You know.. Al-Sharlatan never seems to pray for the events he attends, but he certainly knows how to prey on them.
---
Can you not see Al-Sharlatan at the mic during the Ferguson, MO riots saying, "Let us prey"?
---
Oscar spoiler alert: You can cancel your plans and get on with your life..Best Picture, Actor, and Director.."American Sniper"..Hollywood is on trial.

Sunday, our sermon was built around the parable of the employer giving three employees various amounts of "talents' to manage while he was away from his home/business . Two of the employees were industrious and doubled the money his employer entrusted them, and the employer rewarded them with promotions. The third employee literally buried the money his employer entrusted him with, and gave it back upon his return. The employer fired him for lack of effort. Sorta reminds me of an employer hiring 3 persons at starter ( minimum ) wage, then promoting the ones that work hard and firing the one who didn't.

Online headline: "Obama to Propose Capital Gains Tax Hikes to Benefit Middle Class" -- "benefit middle class"? How does Obamageddon, and mainstream media for that matter, figure that raising the taxes on the retirement savings of 85% of Americans will benefit them? We're talking about pension plans and traditional 401Ks as well as small businesses being passed along to the next generation.
---
Online headline: "America’s First Islamic Government: A Muslim Only City-State on American Soil" -- Excuse me, but how does this pass muster under our Constitution which prohibits discrimination based on race, sex, or religious beliefs? On the other hand, how does the Congressional Black Caucus pass muster as well? FTR...Islamberg, NY

Online story: "A U.S. Army recruiting office in Phoenix has taken down a recruiting sign that read, “On a mission for both God and country” after images of the sign, posted online, sparked controversy. * The Army Times reports Army Recruiting Command spokesman Brian Lepley said the sign was ordered to be taken down on Jan. 16 after a public outcry." -- Obamageddon may can order GOD out of posters, but he will never be able to order GOD out of the hearts of American soldiers.

Hmmmm, milk prices are down..of course we haven't seen any indication at any grocery store I shop. The mainstream perception is based on declines in China and Russia halting their import of American milk. Of course farmers and distributors are benefiting from a steep decline in gas costs which helps them with lower costs-to-market, but why aren't consumers benefiting from the natural reactions of supply&demand?

You know, if it didn't matter, as defenders of the New England Patriots contend, why did the Pats partially deflate the balls they used on offense? Maybe the Patriot's should hire Hillewinsky to represent them.. she could use the defense of "What difference does it make?".
---
Ted Cruz et al, keep blasting away that if the next Republican nominee for president is not a conservative in their eyes then the Democrats will win again. I disagree.. What cost the Republican Party in 2012 was the RNC demanding that the party focus on moral issues rather than Constitutional issues. Romney...and too a lesser degree, McCain, lost because of one-issue voters, especially women, who voted against the RNC stand on those issues. Obamageddon didn't win those votes, the Republican Party capitulated on those voters.

Online story: "After the state legislature's approval of a new Arizona law Thursday morning, students who want a high school diploma will need to pass a citizenship test or the hats won't fly at graduation. The law was speedily approved by both houses later in the afternoon and signed by Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey in the evening of the same day." -- This should be required in every state! No student should be sent into the real world without knowing what the founding fathers passed along to them. Hmmm...watch SAT scores increase as well.
---
Online quote source: "“The tragedy of life is often not in our failure, but rather in our complacency; not in our doing too much, but rather in our doing too little; not in our living above our ability, but rather in our living below our capacities.” - Benjamin E. Mays" -- Hmm another bit of wisdom that shall never grace the walls of a Democratic Party politician, or government entitlement office.
---
I think I've finally figured out what Obamageddon meant when he said his would be the most transparent administration in America's history... he meant that we would clearly see he wanted to eliminate Congress, the Courts, and the Constitution.
---
Online headline: "Japan PM vows to save two hostages threatened with beheading by ISIS" -- Now we're talking.. maybe Japan will revive the samurai warrior brigades and send them and ninjas and behead all the bastards in al Qaeda/ISIS!
---
As Obamageddon steps onto the Speaker's dais in the House tonight.. Boehner should have a sign drop down behind him saying, "Mission Botched".
---
Instead of "Hail to the Chief" being played as Obamageddon walks into the House chamber tonight, instead of playing "Hail to the Chief", perhaps a rendition of Nat King Cole's classic song cam be song by Republicans, "The Party's Over".

Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Isn’t the purpose of school board members to support the school system and its students, not tear it down? -- Good grief.. this must have been sent by one of the school board members who isn't Frank Myers or John Thomas! The School Board is suppose to represent The Taxpayers and citizens of Columbus to make sure the School System does not lose focus.. Too bad the elected MCSD board has not done such a good job over the last 23 years.
---
A "get's it" L-E "soundoff": "Police officers don’t need special training in dealing with minorities. The minorities need training in respect for the law and the avoidance of potentially dangerous confrontations with police officers." -- Amen!!!!
Another "get's it" L-E "soundoff": " I was a member of the Selma march. I was a captain in the Alabama National Guard and liaison to Sheriff Jim Clark. The movie was nothing like the real Selma march." -- Hmmm.. another failing grade on Hollywood's report card..Didn't MLK say.. "the truth will set you free"? Well, half-truths are the work of the Devil...
---
Another Jonathan Gruber extra-stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Do our new board members even know why Spencer needs replacing? It is literally sinking. If a wall or ceiling should ever collapse on students, $56 million will seem like small change." -- Good grief.. I've been on the Spencer Campus sevearl times in the past two years attending sporting events of my daughter. I saw nothing that endanger her, or I would not have let her go there. Besides, if there was danger, the 6 returning MCSD Board members, ESPECIALLY the one for Spencer's district soul be sued for reckless endangerment for not previously shutting down the school and moving the less than 8 hundred students to the other high schools..there is no shortage of city-wide high school classroom or buses.
---
A "get's it" L-E "soundoff": "While thousands in Nigeria are being killed in a holocaust, the world news media can only focus on 12 death in Paris. Why is this?" -- In a few words.. because Al Sharlatan doesn't go there..
---
L-E headline "Europe’s police reconsider arms after Charlie Hebdo terror attack" -- "arms"? Cannot mainstream media/L-E even print the word "guns" when guns are the obvious way to protect citizens and law enforcement officers alike?
---
The Columbus L-E editorial always leaves pertinent info out when it boosts the presence of CSU in the downtown area..the L-E seems to ignore the fact that when CSU buys property for school use, the property becomes tax-exempt. Just the change of hands from the R.W. Page Corporation (McClatchy now) to CSU means that over $60,000.00 will be stripped annually from the tax revenues, yet that building will require even more costs to oversee police and fire protection services from the pockets of Columbus taxpayers. Oh, and don't forget the reduction of parking spaces for Columbusites trying to patronize downtown businesses..
