Online story:"Don’t expect to see Pope Francis proclaiming, “I am Charlie.”
* Pope Francis said, "One cannot provoke, one cannot insult other people's
faith, one cannot make fun of faith," he said. "There is a limit. Every religion
has its dignity ... in freedom of expression, there are limits." -- Where is
this "pope" from? Yes, the teaching of no religion should demand.. expect..
personal revenge by its followers on people of other or no religion! It wasn't
during the Inquisition, it was right during our pilgrim days, it wasn't right
under Hitler, and it's not right in the 21st Century. The "pope" is wrong to
excuse Islam terrorism on any basis.

My bride has just nailed it! 4 upper echelon Secret Service execs have been
thrown under the Obamageddon bus..Guess we know Obamageddon has some job
openings for the next Gitmo releasees.

Online story: " The Obama administration is putting a large dent in the
U.S. embargo against Cuba as of Friday, significantly loosening restrictions on
American trade and investment. * The new rules also open up the communist island
to greater American travel and allow U.S. citizens to start bringing home small
amounts of Cuban cigars after more than a half-century ban" -- Where's Michele
on this! On Obamageddon smoking more tobacco products in the White House... Oh..
and what's Hillewinsky's opinion of having Bill have Cuban cigars in the White
House in 2017?
---
Online story: "Republican officials tapped newly elected Iowa Sen. Joni
Ernst on Thursday to deliver the party's formal response to President Barack
Obama's State of the Union address," -- Hmmm .. who better to respond against
the party leader that wages war on women & families & small business.. a
woman, a wife, a mother, an Iraqi war vet, and a farmer.

Radio Shack committed a very slow suicide back in the late 1980s-early 1990s. It could have owned the home computer market, but RS got greedy. With 7000 outlets already in existence, it took the stance of making its own brand of computers so proprietary and expensive that even previous customers sought other brands. Industry standard brands of software would not work on Tandy computers. RS offered crippled down versions at higher prices. Accessory items.. like better monitors from other outlets would not work on RS's Tandy brand because RS had proprietary graphics boards, The same for printers and hard drives. Many company brought RS down.. Megahaus.. by creating connectors that read RS's computer ports and allowed auxiliary hardware to work, and at lower prices. Then enter Dell, Compaq, Zeos, Gateway and a few others start up manufacturers that made straight, and IBM format compatible personal computers. People could buy the software of their choice. People could add the auxiliary items.. drives/monitors/printers.. of their choice.. independent repair specialists could work on any of them. Yes, greed put the first bullet in RS's foot, and its all caught up with RS...

Online story: "The Department of Defense announced Wednesday that five
Yemeni terror suspects held at Guantanamo Bay have been released. But despite
concerns from lawmakers about the risks of sending anybody back to Yemen, four
were released to Oman -- which is right next door". -- HmmmThat al Qaeda guy in
Yemen taking credit for the Paris, France act if terror..how come the leaders of
Islam or Yemen's president haven't taken him out and apologized for his
actions?

HuffPOO headline: "Poll: New Yorkers Overwhelmingly Disapprove Of Cops
Turning Backs On Bill de Blasio" BS! Who did the poll.. de Bl(_*_)io's
chief-of-staff? I mentioned this last week, but the NYPD should seriously
consider forwarding all inner city 911 calls directly to de Bl(_*_)io's office!
Oh, and I'll bet not one wife or other family member of a NY police officer was
contacted in this poll.
---
HuffPOO headline: "Charles Frederick Warner's Last Words Before Execution:
'My Body Is On Fire' -- Yes! Can I get an "AMEN"? How about another one... only
louder! Warner probably did feel the heat ... the heat of the gates of Hell as
Satan welcomed him..
---
HuffPOO headline: "Oklahoma And Florida To Execute Inmates Within One Hour
Of Each Other" -- Bam...bam! Ironic... it took 16 years too long for one of
them, and 20 years for the other.

WTVM9 story: "President Barack Obama launched a fresh push Thursday to
bring paid sick and family leave to working parents and other private-sector
employees as the White House unveiled proposals that could benefit tens of
millions of people. Most require action by the Republican-controlled Congress. *
"Forty-three million Americans do not get paid sick leave," Obama said" -- Good
grief.. only a socialist would entice his voter base with entitlements that
their employers would have to provide that would eventually bring their
businesses to its knees. You know.. government jobs have the become greedy with
it's "paid sick leave.. Government does not produce a revenue product but spends
tax money freely in patting itself on the back. I can see paid sick leave as a
business option as a perk for keeping employees, but the governmenmt takes it
too far... WAY TOO FAR! Government accumulates unused sick pay hours, and gives
them back as rewards at a later date. I've heard of retirements of a couple of
years before requirements have been earned by people taking unused sick pay.. In
effect.. government is giving unauthorized raises/bonuses for average actions..
just coming to work gets an employee a bonus one day that small business owners
can't even afford for themselves.

Online story: "The Mexican government will issue birth certificates to its
citizens at consulates in the United States to make it easier for them to apply
for a U.S. work permit, driver's license and protection from deportation." --
Good grief! There oughta be a law against this..you know, there probably is, but
we won't see Obamageddon or Holder upholding it.. In effect, the Mexican
president is aiding and abetting the export of American money to bolster up
Mexico's economy while straining the American economy.
---
Online headline: "White House Says That Paris Jihad Attacks Had ‘Nothing to
Do’ with ‘Radical Islam’" -- Hmmm.. gives real credibility... NOT... for the
White House claiming that Officer Darren Wilson was a racist for doing his
duty... his sworn duty, at that.
---
Have a correction... well, actually more of a move to promote accuracy ..
Yesterday, I reported that the 3 mils the City gives Columbus Regional to be $30
million.. that's off.. the total is closer to $13 Million the City pays ... BUT,
and it's still $13,000,000.00 that is no longer needed to be spent this way..
Council needs to put a halt to this practice.. Some of it could be used to even
help the employee med system that Mayor TomLYINGson dumped on them.
---
Calling Islam tolerant is akin to saying a Cuban election is fair when only
one person can be voted for.
---
Online story: "The New York Times Co. says Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim
is now the largest holder of its publicly traded shares." -- Good grief.. The
Mexican president is distributing legal documents to his countrymen in our
country illegally, and now the Times will editorialize that as wonderful... Oh..
The Times would be doing that anyway regardless of Carlos Slim... my
bad...

Online story: "Koy Sam and his wife were in the process of closing their
Houston restaurant for the day when two armed robbers walked in. As one of them
forced the couple to the floor, the other one headed for the cash register. *A
customer, who was in the middle of his meal, then decided to take matters into
his own hands. * The customer, also armed, held one of the would-be robbers at
gunpoint until the police arrived. He fired at the other suspect as he fled,
hitting the front windows of the store." -- Heh heh heh...guess the robbers
forgot they were in Texas, where no retaurant can have a policy of "No Guns
Allowed" and stay in business.
---
L-E headline: "POLICE ARREST SUSPECT IN CALVIN AVENUE HOMICIDE" -- The CPD
has done its job.. now we pray the DA will do her job... before the next
election...
---
L-E story: " Brian P. Roslund, the unsuccessful Democratic challenger in
the Senate District 29 race in November, was serving as president of the Friends
of Roosevelt’s Little White House when discrepancies were noticed in about
$11,000 in expenditures" -- Whew! Glad he wasn't involved in St Francis
Hospital.. no telling how much would be categorized as "an accounting
error"....
---
L-E story: "A 21-year-old Columbus man was struck in the head and robbed
late Thursday on River Road, police said. * he man was jumped by seven young men
wearing dark clothing. One struck him in the head with a pistol before taking $5
in cash, a $250 pair of Air Jordan sneakers and $200 cell phone." -- Hmmm..
wanna bet the one of the seven who got the sneakers will not sleep in the same
house with his "friends" again?
---
You know, unless the judge deciding the outcome of the Bible and Nobel
Peace Prize of Dr King sends the items to the Smithsonian, then the judge should
give the items to the IRS and let them deliver them to the one the judge
favors.
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Some cities like St. Louis have a pet patrol for
pets that are left outside in cold weather. They confiscate these animals and
put them up for adoption." -- Hmmm... you know, Columbus has had this policy for
years... it's called "the leash law".
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Sanford Bishop voted with the Republicans again to
allow the evil, oily Keystone Pipeline to pollute our public aquifers. What’s
happening to that man?" -- Jonathan Gruber was right.. Democrat voters are
stupid.. so, "hey, Stupid... Bishop just wants to get reelected in 2016!
---
A L-E "soundoff" that almost gets it: " Now the school board wants another
SPLOST. I’m not sure I trust the school board enough to vote for another one.
They can’t seem to manage money very well." -- On the contrary.. the MCSD, board
and administration.. "manages" well.. well, it manages to spend and waste very
well!
---
It's being reported that George Soros, billionaire socialist, has sent
$33,000,000,00 to organizations stirring the flames of racism in Ferguson, MO
versus letting justice work its way forward.. The Republican Party should
respond to how the Democratic Party got IRS to delay and deny 501 (c) 3 status
to conservative groups by having IRS revoking the 501 (c) 3, 4, or 5 status from
any group that accepts a donation from Soros. In fact, those organizations
should be added to the "terrorist organization watch list" as proponents of
anarchism.
---
L-E headline: "Columbus Tech president sees accuracy in system name change"
-- Good grief.. it was suggested by Gov Deal or not.. what is the gain? A rose
is a rose by any name.. About the only people who will gain are the sign and
t-shirt makers.
---
L-E movie critique: " “Blackhat” is an unthrilling thriller about an
imprisoned cyber-criminal (Chris Hemsworth) who is let out of jail in order to
track down the mastermind behind a pair of computer attacks. * Seemingly shot on
a shaky smartphone, director Michael Mann’s blurry, jerkily edited digital video
is hard to read, especially during action sequences. Viola Davis as Hems-worth’s
FBI handler is the absolute the best thing about “Blackhat.” -- The L-e and all
other McClatchy newspapers who picked this up better lock its doors. Do they
really think Viola Davis will be pleased to have her name proudly and publicly
associated with this movie?
---
Hmmm.. so Target is pulling out of Canada.. guess Target found out dealing
with multi-lingual customers and a socialistic, over regulated government makes
it nigh impossible to be profitable.. Wait a minute... has anyone heard Target's
analysis of the American market?
---
Hmmm the above story really makes you think about why Obamageddon wants to
reopen trade with socialist Cuba at the same time....
