Online headline: "Average ticket resale price for World Series tops $1,000" -- $1,000.00 ..Giants vs Royals?
I just went to look at a ticket stubb of a game my Dad attended in a 1961 Yankees regular season game.. that was the year of the Maris & Mantle attack on Babe Ruth's 34 year record of 60 home runs. The price of the ticket, including all the taxes and fees associated with NYC was $1.30 and that was what he paid.

Why is there an Ebola Investigative Committee ...already? The last way to control anything is to assign a committee to look into it.
---
If Congress wants to have a committee investigation on Ebola, then the Congress should bring in infected witnesses so that the members of Congress will get through in record time.
---
You know...Ebola may be the Democrats planned "October Surprise". Since the Dems have pretty much conceded on their maintaining a majority in either chamber, the best way to keep the status quo would be to declare a medical emergency and postpone/stop the November Election.

Online story: "Hunter Biden, the youngest son of Vice President Joe Biden, has been kicked out of the military after testing positive for cocaine, two people familiar with the matter said Thursday. * An attorney by training, Hunter Biden applied to join the Navy Reserve as a public affairs officer and was selected in 2012 - one of seven candidates recommended for a direct commission for public affairs. A board of senior Navy officers interviewed Biden before making the recommendation." -- Good grief... an obvious nepotistic appointment and a political DISappointment in one story. My guess is that Bleep Veep Biden is getting neutered by the Hillewinsky element of "The Party", before he makes any 2016 waves.

Some reporter went to Ireland is is now saying he discovered a game he's never heard of before... "Hurling".. Does this man live in a cave.. "Hurling" is a widespread pastime of college students on weekends.. and especially on St Patrick's Day.

Message of the day, and for the election season: Vote "NO" on the Redevelopment Referendum. It's not even whether the idea or the goal is good or bad.. it's because the law is like something Nancy Pelosi would want passed.. We already know that what we vote "for" can be changed without our input..Council can request amendments from the our legislative group and bypass us voters.
---
The Redevelopment Referendum is all about two kinds of "bonds". Bonds between Council and banks that issue them, lawyers which handle them, and friends who get projects, which leads back to politicians who get supported politically from those recipients of bond funds. Now the rub. Bonds are paid off with tax dollars. The "danger" here is that Council can distribute the money from bonds to whoever they wish "today" without any knowledge of whether the projects will be successful, and the taxpayers are stuck with paying off those bonds regardless. If someone wants to take a risk on such projects, let them (and their financiers) assume the risk if they want the rewards.

Other than lie about her allegiance/chains to Obamageddon/Reid and the Democratic Party agenda, what else has Know Knothing Knunn actually said she would do if elected?
---
Online story: "Last week, some students at Southern Oregon University were passing out copies of the Constitution on public sidewalks outside of student housing. They were then confronted by university administrators for not passing them out in the campus’s “free speech zone.” -- Good grief! "Free Speech Zones" are really areas that are designated for fringe commentary so people are forewarned and know to avoid them. Our Constitution is only considered to be "fringe commentary" by liberals.
---
Online headline: "O'Reilly: You Know Things Are Serious When Obama Cancels Fundraising Trip" -- Hmmm ..... If Obamageddon canceled a fundraiser. it's only because some "whales" backed out.
---
L-E headline: "ARMY MAY ALLOW WOMEN IN RANGER SCHOOL IN ’15" -- And what name will they have on their sleeve patch.. "Lady Rangers" or "Rangerettes"?
---
L-E headline/story: "2010 SHOOTING * Attorneys challenge dying man’s ID of alleged gunmen * Today Fairburn and the family can testify to that in court. Grimes cannot. He died June 26, 2011. * Now defense attorneys are trying to get Superior Court Judge William Rumer to rule that Grimes’ identifying his assailants is inadmissible in court. * Citing a defendant’s constitutional right to question his accuser, they argue Grimes’ telling others who shot him now amounts to hearsay, as Grimes himself cannot testify to it." -- "Grimes cannot testify to it"? Good grief.. the man was murdered.. if the courts follow the defense attorneys' "logic", then forensic evidence discovered on murdered people could be challenged on the same basis. Why is it that 99% of all attorneys always seem to give the rest a bad reputation?

LIV's L-E "soundoff": " I rarely whine about price, having been in sales 30 years. The Exchange Club represents great causes, but $8.50 for a hotdog, chips, and drink? Goodness, guys, Ali Baba charged less for the entire pig." -- Good grief.. only a certified WHINER would complain about what the Exchange Club charges for a "hot dog" meal which is its major fund raiser for the wonderful things the Exchange Club does. Took my bride and brother there for lunch yesterday, and gladly, voluntarily, paid $100.00 for three meals and a lot of community good. They are available at the Shrine Club on Edgewood.. Go buy lunch there today.. or pick up lunch for your office. Thanks, Exchange Club!

L-E headline: "CDC CHIEF CONFIDENT IT CAN HALT SPREAD OF EBOLA VIRUS" -- Good grief.. I didn't know Jay Carney changed his name and got a new job....
---
L-E story: " Georgia continues to tread water on the unemployment front, with the state’s rate dipping to 7.9 percent in September, but barely better than the 8 percent rate a year ago." -- Good grief.. if the sitting governor was a Democrat, the L-E would have been sounding trumpets and proclaiming him as the Savior reborn.
---
L-E story: "Mississippi State star Dak Prescott says he is taking steps to avoid being the next college football star to be accused of exchanging autographs for cash. * “I’ve started just personalizing things — making sure I write to the person that they’re asking for. And I don’t sign things in bundles — just being a lot more aware of what I’m signing,” the Heisman Trophy contender said" -- First, if this was last year, the L-E wouldn't have run with a story about Mississippi State, but this year is different (Hail STATE). Obviously, Dak Prescott is not only a great athlete, he's a smart one as well.
