You know...U S Customs isn't gonna let you bring in live plants, heck, U S Customs isn't gonna let you bring back dead grass clippings on your golf shoes that traipsed the fairways of St Andrews because of disease/insects that could be borne, so why is Obamageddon ordering that people with ebola from a foreign country be given a pass?
---
You know, Obamageddon probably thinks that more people will sign up for OObamaCRAP since he's brought "Ebola" into America.
---
You know, if the airstrikes at ISIS encampments/groups are not designed to stop ISIS from advancing, doesn't this tactic emulate Bill Clinton's strategy at taking out a Somalian aspirin factory?
---
HuffPost story: "Kentucky Democratic Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes on Thursday repeatedly dodged inquiries as to whether she voted for President Barack Obama, who remains extremely unpopular in the Bluegrass State. * "You know, this election isn't about the president. It's about making sure we put Kentuckians back to work," she said." -- "isn't about the president"? "making sure we put Kentuckians back to work"? Hmmm, what's she's omitting is that many of the jobs lost were because of closing coal mines, and that is a Democratic Party Platform issue.
---
Online headline: "Michelle Obama takes on new initiative * The First Lady invited young people with a certain passion to meet some pretty sensational mentors at the White House on October 8th." -- Hmmm.. Fashion Week. Now Michelle wants to tell students how to dress as well as how to eat.
---
Online story: "It happened at, of all places, the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing. Today, when asked what advice he had for women who have never gotten or asked for a raise, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella gave some really off-putting advice. * “It’s not really about asking for a raise, but knowing and having faith that the system will give you the right raises as you go along,” Nadella said to the largely female crowd. " -- Hmmm.. seems like the new CEO at MIcrosoft has already "crashed".
---
Is the issue really about equal pay for women, or equal opportunity for men to compete against women for jobs? What will happen is that pay levels will drop to the level that a business can hire capable people to do specific work.
---
That 'pimp' who arranged the Secret Service prostitute scandal in Colombia is now Kerry's liaison/appointee for Women's Issues. Talk about a ",war on women"...
---
The story about the Secret Service prostitute scandal...who among you actually believed the White House was unaware of it at the time...based solely on Jay Carney's denials?
---
Online story: "The Obama Administration announced earlier this week that they would set aside $9 million to help provide legal assistance to thousands of unaccompanied alien children who illegally crossed the U.S.-Mexico border earlier this year. Approximately 2,600 illegal aliens will receive legal representation under the grants issued to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants by Health and Human Services." -- Hmmm... Obamageddon is boosting the lawyer welfare program by $3,400+ per case.. Payback for past support or bribe for this years elections?
---
Why is the mainstream media so concerned about Kin Jong-Un's "absence"? I've actually enjoyed the silence.
---
Online story: "Barbara Doherty, the mother of Glen Doherty, former Navy SEAL who died at Benghazi, claimed that the FBI director told her he didn't initially call her after her son's death because he couldn't find her number. * "He apologized for not calling sooner, because he couldn't find my contact number," she said. "I said, 'You are the FBI.' ... So then I sort of was laughing to myself." * She said then-director Robert Mueller called over a month after her son died. Doherty added: "I think I am in the phone book. Everyone else found me." -- Phone book? That would have been too easy.. Mueller must have kept his contact numbers on Lois Lerner's hard drive.
---
UGA has been good for Todd Gurley...too.. Shoot, he's even learned how to write his name, and practices doing it a lot.
---
Another 'phishing scam' to report.. this one claims Microsoft wants you to download a critical repair solution. Microsoft does that itself when it downloads sporadic upgrades/adjustments/fixes. Do not open such requests.

Online headline/story: "Study: Voter ID laws cut turnout by blacks, young * WASHINGTON (AP) - States that toughened their voter identification laws saw steeper drops in election turnout than those that did not, with disproportionate falloffs among black and younger voters, a nonpartisan congressional study released Wednesday concluded. * As of June, 33 states have enacted laws obligating voters to show a photo ID at the polls, the study said * The office compared election turnout in Kansas and Tennessee - which tightened voter ID requirements between the 2008 and 2012 elections - to voting in four states that didn't change their identification requirements. * The study cautioned that the results from Kansas and Tennessee don't necessarily apply to other states with stricter ID laws. It also found that of 10 other studies that mostly focused on voting before 2008, five found no significant impact from voter ID laws, four found decreases and one found an increase." -- What exactly is the point of this report? The headline tells one story, and the report tells another. The real conclusion is that states that did tighten voter ID laws discouraged people from voting illegally.

The Democrats went all out to celebrate Jimmy Carter's 90th birthday... they even claim Obamageddon was elected so Carter's realm would not be considered the worst by historians in the future.
---
Online story: "Gwyneth Paltrow hosted the President in her Brentwood backyard, gushing to Obama, "You’re so handsome that I can't speak properly" -- Brentwood? Hmmm, wonder how she described OJ?
---
We've heard about bakeries being court ordered to make homosexual/lesbian wedding cakes against their beliefs, but now a court has ordered a Christian T-shirt company to make "Gay Pride" shirts. What the court system is really doing is keeping some gay entrepreneur screen printer and wedding cake maker from having an opportunity to create a business and jobs.

Online story: "Recently, during a visit to Spelman College, United States Secretary of Education Arne Duncan claimed that the country needs to increase the diversity of its teacher workforce to “match the diversity of schoolchildren.” “This is doing the right thing for our nation,” Duncan told the group. * According to Duncan’s theory, if there are more African American students than white students, Duncan believes that there should more African American teachers to match. If this were to happen, it would call for an affirmative action-style hiring process within the education system. * This is just another example of the racist mentality we see sweeping the nation. This means that Duncan believes that having a black teacher outweighs experience." -- Hmmm.. let's look at Spelman's "diversity".... in 2012, there were zero whites enrolled..
in 2012, 68% of the faculty was female... in 2012, 31 of 173 faculty members were white (18%) and in a declining trend...in 2012, only 11 of the 31 white faculty were men...for that matter of the 173 members of the faculty, only 55 were males (and in a declining trend). What we have here is a microcosm of the number one problems in the black community.. not enough diversity of opinions and not enough male role models.

Online story: "As Wisconsin’s Hispanic community becomes a major portion of the voting population, the Mexican Consulate is looking to make their Chicago-based office mobile. * In an effort to increase access to adequate voting documentation, the Consulate’s mobile office coming to Wisconsin, will provide passport renewal services for potential voters, mainly the Latino population. " -- Wait a minute..the right to vote is not spelled out in the Constitution to begin with.. the Constitution just says no one fitting the requirements can be denied the right to vote.. the main requirement is citizenship.. whether born or naturalized and being 18 or older. Having a passport issued by another country is not a license to vote in American elections!
---
Online story: "During a press conference at the State Department, today, Secretary of State John Kerry addressed the urgent need to contain the spread of Ebola in the wake of the first Ebola death in in the United States…Kerry made clear that travel restrictions would not be part of the administration’s strategy in fighting the deadly disease. * “We need airlines to continue to operate in West Africa, and we need borders to remain open,” -- "we need borders to stay open"? No, what we need are borders with controlled entry, and we need a new administration/Secretary of State.

LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Gov. Deal cut pre-K education to fund corporate tax breaks. He closed hospitals and cut economic growth and jobs provided by Medicaid expansion. He’s ethically challenged and he’s worn out his welcome." -- Good grief! There must not be any limit on how low a soundoffer's IQ can be that the L-E won't print the ramblings/rantings.
---
In today's Columbus L-E's "letters" feature is this headline: " Amendment a no-lose proposition". It refers to a vote on whether our city will pass permission for our politicians to create new "Tax Allocation Districts under the veil of "Redevelopment Districts". Let's be candid.. no amendment that gives politicians a new tax&spend power is a "no-lose" situation. No amendment can made perfect in protecting citizens from the throes of self-serving politicians. name me one that qualifies as non-self-serving. Oh.. you may know of one who entered politics as such, but not one that has ever been re-elected.
---
L-E headline: "Jimmy Carter to stump for grandson’s campaign" -- Well, obviously, either his grandson doesn't know about this or he's thrown in the towel.
---
L-E story: " NEW YORK — The people who chose to look at nude celebrity photos that hackers posted committed “a sexual offense,” actress Jennifer Lawrence says in an exclusive interview with Vanity Fair in its November issue." -- Good grief.. the "crime" was when these people transmitted nude pictures of themselves over the I-Net. No uploading... no downloading...
