Online story: "The Department of Homeland Security told AOL News that Rep.
Duncan Hunter (R-CA) was telling a tale Tuesday afternoon when he told Fox News
that insurgents were traversing the Texas border. * "The suggestion that
individuals who have ties to ISIL have been apprehended at the Southwest border
is categorically false, and not supported by any credible intelligence or the
facts on the ground," spokesperson Marsha Catron told AOL." -- Hmmm... what's
"categorically false" .. that ISIS terrorists have been crossing the border or
that ISIS terrorists haven't been apprehended crossing the border? The
apprehended part I can believe...
---
"categorically false"? Why does mainstream media believe an "absolute"
claim by anyone associated with Obamageddon's administration?

HuffPost headline/story: "New St. Louis shooting revives protesters' roar *
Residents swarmed a St. Louis neighborhood late Wednesday after word that an
off-duty cop fatally shot an 18-year-old. * Opposing witness accounts reported *
ST. LOUIS (AP) - An off-duty police officer fatally shot a man who opened fire
during a chase in south St. Louis, city police said. * St. Louis Police Lt. Col.
Alfred Adkins said the 32-year-old officer was working a secondary security
job * Adkins said the officer, a six-year-veteran of the St. Louis Police
Department, approached four men on the street. * the gentlemen took off
running. He was able to follow one of them before he lost him and then found him
again as the guy jumped out of some bushes across the street," Adkins said. "The
officer approached, they got into a struggle, they ended up into a gangway, at
which time the young man pulled a weapon and shots were fired. The officer
returned fire Police said a gun was retrieved from the scene in the Shaw
neighborhood, near Missouri Botanical Gardens. * People who described themselves
as relatives of the man who was shot later told The St. Louis Post Dispatch that
he was not armed." -- "opposing witness accounts reported"? So "people who
described themselves as relatives" and were not present can be deemed credible
in such a situation? Mainstream media is rekindling, no, adding fuel to "the
fire". I've about had it with mainstream media! Police have an important and
dangerous job to do.

Online story: "a police standoff in Chicago with the attempted arrest of a
shooting spree suspect ended six hours later with one man dead, the suspect in
custody and a high-ranking officer recovering from a head wound, officials
said." -- Hmmm glad this wasn't a HuffPost story or the "headlie" would have
been, "Cop shot by dead unarmed black man".

Random thought: Justice... justice cannot be had until all parties are
willing to peacefully accept the finding of an investigation. There will be no
"justice" in Ferguson because mainstream media doesn't want it. Neither does the
Democratic Party.

Online headline: "Gas Price Average Drops To Lowest Level For 2014 * Cheap
crude and cold weather blends driving down fuel prices" -- Good grief.. the
"winter blend" does knock a few cents off the costs, but when an unexpected drop
happens, it's because supply exceeds demand.

Online story: "class action settlement announced Wednesday means that
anyone who has bought even one can of the mysterious potion since 2002 is
eligible for a payout. * The Austrian company has agreed to pay more than $13
million to consumers over claims it misled the public through advertising that
"Red Bull gives you wings." * About half of that sum will be placed into an
escrow account within seven days, according to beverage trade publication
BevNet. The remainder will be paid at a still-undetermined date. * Each person
making claims against the settlement is entitled to a cool $10 or $15 worth of
Red Bull products." -- Good grief.. this sounds more like a promotional
give-away than a court ordered settlement! Either way, it's a lotta
"bull".

Online headline/story: "Twisted Ivy: Harvard students say US bigger threat
to world peace than ISIS * "As a Western civilization, we’re to blame for a lot
of the problems that we’re facing now,” one student said during an interview. “I
don't think anyone would argue that we didn't create the problem of ISIS,
ourselves.” * Most of the other students interviewed shared the same sentiment —
that ISIS would not exist had it not been for the past actions of the U.S." --
and what do US Supreme Court Justices Breyer, Ginsburg, Kagan, Roberts, Scalia,
and Kennedy have in common? Harvard Law school...

Online headline: "More than a dozen states plan to cancel health care
policies not in compliance with ObamaCare" -- Actually, 13 states plus
Washington, D.C., and 7 of those states have contested Senate races. Even some
"safe Democrat seats" may have an unexpected October surprise to defend when the
cancellation notices are mailed out prior to the November election.

Random thought: "Hmmmm, wouldn't you think that Burger King, McDonald's et
al would have some sort of ground beef salad in their offering?

L-E story: "A Supreme Court-appointed special master has recommended that
Eddings’ law license be suspended for one year and he have a plan in place to
repay 10 percent of the nearly $2 million stolen from his law firm’s trust
account. * Neither attorney Michael Eddings nor the State Bar of Georgia agree
with the recommendation a special master handed down as the bar attempts to
sanction Eddings for malfeasance in his Columbus legal practice." -- Guess
what.. I agree with Edding's attorney and the State Bar of GA.. this is an
atrocious ruling. Eddings should be banned from practicing law and held
accountable fo 100% plus interest of the funds other people were cheated out
of!

L-E story: "The man found dead of an apparent homicide on a Phenix City
trail Monday night had a criminal record in Columbus, according to police and
court records. * Derrick G. King, 26, was identified as the victim, according to
Phenix City Police Chief * In October 2009, King and his accomplice, ******,
both pled guilty to stealing two vehicles and attempting to take a third in the
summer of 2008. * King and ***** were sentenced to six years in prison for two
charges of theft by taking a motor vehicle, entering a motor vehicle with intent
to commit a crime, obstruction of an officer and possessing tools to commit a
crime. * According to jail records, King was in the Muscogee County Jail three
times last year. Records for a January arrest weren't available, but the
26-year-old was arrested in March for suspended registration and other
traffic-related charges. * In September 2013, King was charged with battery
after he allegedly choked a female." -- Hmmm.. sentenced to 6 years... 5 years
ago. You know.. if the sentence had been enforced, King would still be in jail,
still be alive, and several other crimes would not have been committed. I think
it's time for law abiding citizens to file a class action suit against the court
systems about full sentences being enforced!

Hmmm... so Nick Saban disagrees with A.J. McCarron's opinion... hmmm, and I
bet A.J. McCarron disagreed with Saban's opinion on the last play of the 2013
"Iron Bowl" field goal attempt, too.

L-E story: "RALEIGH, N.C. — Same-day registration won’t be allowed during
early voting in North Carolina and Election Day ballots cast in the wrong
precinct won’t be counted this fall after the U.S. Supreme Court blocked a
ruling that set aside part of a 2013 election law." -- Good grief... how could
any level court allow same day registration/voting to begin with? The voting day
process is slow enough already as verification of information of those who were
motivated to register in a proper manner is a safeguard to voter fraud. Any
activity that distracts election officials from normal duties is wrong.
