Another Democratic Party debate.. as surmised, the DNC positioned G.I. JILLary "to the left" of Bernie on stage.. Hey, JILLary, "What difference does it make?"

---
Online headline: "'Enough is enough': Hillary Clinton tells Bernie Sanders to stop smearing her over Wall Street money" -- The more G.I. JILLary tries to appear transparent, the more transparent she becomes.. I can see the billing for the first Democrat/Republican debate, "Trump vs Tramp".

---
You know, if G.I. JILLary does win in November, it will be a shallow victory for women... true (wow, that's a tough word to associate with her in a single sentence), she may be a female, but she's certainly no Lady.

---
Online story: "ABC on Thursday announced seven candidates would participate in the debate: real-estate mogul Donald Trump, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R), Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R), New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R), retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, and Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Marco Rubio (R-Florida).
Despite an extensive lobbying campaign from her campaign and on her behalf, Fiorina was excluded from the lineup." -- I see ABC is falling in step with the DNC.... since all the Democrats can produce is G.I. JILLary, they can't let public see that a woman can stiil be a lady and be involved in politics.

---
You know.. there's a real opportunity here for the RNC to punch ABC for being chauvinistic...get all the men to boycott ABC in support of women.

---
Online headline: "Obama to propose controversial hefty new tax on oil * The president will launch a bid next week to impose a $10-a-barrel tax that would go toward transit systems" -- Hmmm.. you know, with fuel at it's lowest level in " -- Good grief.. NERO-bamageddon either can't stand.. or doesn't want, America's working people to have extra money in their pockets that might ignite an economic recovery.. In addition, he obviously doesn't want public transportation to actually pay it's own way.. somebody, please confiscate his pens!

---
Online headline: "New York's top cop tells residents to avoid 1 action * Police Commissioner Bill Bratton gave a warning recently to those riding the subway " -- Darn.. I guessed he suggested they stay home for safety/

---
Something learned when not even looking for it.. Joseph Fiennes will be playing Michael Jackson in a British comedy production on 9/11.. excuse me, there is no comedy on 9/11. Also learned there's a Broadway play called "Hamilton"  which features " actors of color playing the Founding Fathers.". You know.. no doubt many great things were carried out by men and women "of color" in the Revolutionary War, but implying revisionist history does not help paint an accurate depiction of it.

---
Online headline: "Jimmy Carter: 'I would choose Trump' over Cruz" -- Hmmm... Cuzzin Jimmy...  the "Artful Codger"....All Democrats will be out to derail both the Republicans who will offer true "hope and change" for America's future. He also expressed his "feelings" about the Democratic Party,, Carter opened with praise for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ “remarkable” showing in Iowa’s Democratic caucus and a prediction that frontrunner Hillary Clinton will ultimately score the party’s nod. Of course he wouldn't actually say that he would like either one to be the next president..

---
Online headline: "Boko Haram is deadlier than ISIS, but nobody cares because they kill Africans" -- Hey, Jesse... hey Al Sharlatan, hey, NERO-bamageddon (and don't say you didn't know about this until you read the news this AM), hey, "Black Lives Matter"..there's a plane leaving this morning...or doesn't this matter since there are no white cops to protest about?

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Hillary Clinton Is Against Boots On The Ground, Except When She's For It" -- aside from obviously the libs are looking closely at Hillary than ever before...I think I may open up a new business selling shoes and flip-flops... since it's a competitive field, I think I'll go or a copyright for "Hillary Heels" and "Clinton Flip-flops"

---
Anybody remember having your mom/dad look down the viewer to see an X-ray of your feet inside the shoes you were trying on? How many of you have altered feet from that? Now people buy shoes without even trying them on.

---
Online story: " The Kennesaw (GA) City Council is once again attempting to eliminate the pension plans its members receive." -- Good grief! How did this situation pass muster with any previous Council or the voters? Pensions should not be in the picture for any elected officials.. it's about service, not careers.

---
Online story: "MARTA will lay off 371 workers next month, according to an announcement posted Wednesday on a state website." -- Hmmm.. just goes to show that government cannot operate passenger services/public transportation in an efficient manner. Sadly, such layoffs will not stop the revenue drain.. it will just make the losses smaller .

---
Headline in competing Atlanta newspaper:  "Study: MARTA growth could pump $5.2 billion into economy, add 45,000 jobs" -- Typical liberal ploy.. throw whatever against the wall and see what sticks.

---
Brain-dead LIV's L-E "soundoff": "   I don’t see how the anti-abortion/anti-birth control crowd can sleep at night after reading the story about the five children left hungry and filthy at a local motel." -- God made no mistakes.. Government program failures like "Sex Ed" and "Welfare" coupled with Democratic Party promises of "so much per child" in poverty surroundings have led us down this path to this point.

---
L-E headline/story: "City may turn after-school programs over to school district * (Dr.)    Lewis confirmed that Hugley had spoken to him about the prospect, and he said he understands the financial straits facing the city. But he is not sure the district can provide the level of service the city has provided — at least not immediately. * (Councilor) Henderson said he thinks the after-school program does too much good in the entire community to be hampered. * “I think those programs, frankly, can have an indirect or maybe even a direct impact on crime,” Henderson said. “I think if we can give kids positive role models and give them an opportunity for alternative activities either before or after school, it may condition them to look for positive activities when they outgrow those kinds of programs.” -- This is an excellent opportunity to put children back under their parents supervision.. neither the City nor the school system create the environment of family values nor discipline that's needed to stop this deterioration of our community.

---
L-E's "Thought for Today: “Many excellent words are ruined by too definite a knowledge of their meaning.” — Aline Kilmer, American poet (1888-1941)." -- And many have been ruined by a Clinton "redefintion"  - "is" and "honest" leap out at us.

L-E guest editorial commentary: "Commentary: Ben Boychuk * Is inequality to blame for Flint’s water crisis? * s this just another case of incompetent government? if what happened in flint isn’t a crime, it ought to be. The criminals are government officials at the local, state and federal levels. *  Michigan gov. rick snyder, a republican, so far has received the brunt of the criticism about the state’s response to the crisis. *  The state was slow to act, it’s true * Turns out, the Obama administration knew of flint’s problem for at least a year and barely lifted a finger. flint is not a great city. it’s poor, broke and crime-ridden. and, by the way, Democrats have run the place for decades. flint’s Democrats did what Democrats often do: obliterated the tax base and spent the city into oblivion. about 10 years ago, flint went into state receivership and has had a series of emergency managers ever since. as it happened, scott appointed the emergency manager — another Democrat, but who’s counting? — who along with the city’s Democratic mayor and Democratic city council made the fateful decision to switch flint’s water supply from Detroit to lake Huron as a cost-cutting measure." -- First.. a little about Ben Boychuk... no conservative...

"Ben Boychuk is associate editor of City Journal, where he writes on education and California politics and policy. Previously, he was managing editor of the Heartland Institute’s School Reform News and the Claremont Review of Books. Boychuk is a former editorial writer for Investor’s Business Daily and the Press-Enterprise in Riverside, California. Boychuk writes regular columns for the Sacramento Bee, Press-Enterprise, and Tribune Media Services. His work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Orange County Register, San Francisco Chronicle, San Diego Union-Tribune, New York Post, National Review Online, Korea Times, and in many other newspapers across the United Staes. He holds a B.A. in political science from the University of California, San Diego. "
Now, does anybody else see the correlation compared to Katrina.. Louisiana's NOLA's Democrat Mayor sat on his butt,  and Louisiana Democrat Governor sat on her butt and did not request (as is policy for states' rights) any federal help.. Bush got creamed/blamed for Katrina.. some even said Bush caused Katrina to change directions to hit NOLA.. Where is mainscream media at the White House Press Release sessions?
One other thing.. the L-E-O does not have this "opinion piece" available for online comments.
---
L-E headline/story: "Chuck Williams, Ledger-Enquirer win McClatchy President’s Award *  The Ledger-Enquirer has won a McClatchy President’s Award for Chuck Williams’ coverage of the female soldiers who broke the gender barrier at Army Ranger School, The McClatchy Company announced on Thursday." -- Congratulations, Chuck! Nice to see good effort recognized.. Wonder what awards could be won if a L-E writer wrote in depth about the problems within the MCSD.
---

L-E story: "ATLANTA— A federal judge on Thursday ordered a civil rights activist and former Georgia lawmaker to pay $250,000 in restitution to charitable donors he’s accused of deliberately defrauding. *  Prosecutors alleged that Brooks solicited about $1 million in contributions from the mid-1990s to 2012 from individuals and corporate donors, saying the money would be used to fight illiteracy in poor communities and for other specific causes. The contributions were made to the Georgia Association of Black Elected Officials, which he had led since 1994, and to Universal Humanities, a tax-exempt organization he founded in 1990. * Prosecutors said Brooks used the money for personal expenses, such as utility bills, cable payments, dry cleaning bills, clothing and restaurant meals, and there was no evidence it was used for the specific projects outlined in his solicitation letters" -- Hmmm... see what a "forensic audit" will reveal? Let's get those started at the MCSD.
