Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval may be more astute than I first imagined..he took himself out of game of being the political "dodgeball" for NERO-bamageddon to try to knock Republican Senators out of "the game".

Is there anyone who actually believes that Apple cannot (or already hasn't) already accessed their phones at anytime it wishes?  This past Tuesday afternoon, bride's Apple iPhone just injected how long it would take to drive to the address of our granddaughter's gymnastic facility... and my bride neither asked nor was even in her car. Guess Apple just "remembered" her past pattern..

---
I tell you what.. I tried to buy an Apple Airbook last year, but it wouldn't load a program that's integral in my life, so I took it back and bought another PC instead. Now I'm in the market for my first iPhone, but seeing as Apple isn't on the same page as I am on keeping America safe from terrorism, I'm going to stick with Android system phones.

A year ago, if I'd seen a headline announcing Trump running for president, I'd figured it was either a publicity stunt or an April Fool's Day headline. Either way, I'd just shrugged it off. I'm glad he's running.. issues and conversations are more open than in any time since Reagan. Now the March 1st Super Tuesday Primary date is upon us, and I know I will be casting my vote for him.

---
It was nice last night to see, hear our National Anthem being sung at the CNN Republican debate..the only ones you wondered about not saluting our flag were the CNN moderators.as a president with Republican Congressional support,

---
Trump rules.. time after time.. during the debate, Trump could cause or calm chaos at will.. and with the support of a beefed-up Republican Congress, Trump will reverse the decline NERO-bamageddon-Reid-Pelosi tried to inflict on us.

---
Don't believe any head-to-head polls matching Trump vs Hillary during the primary season..Even supporters of Cruz & Rubio will say they would vote for Hillary in order to sideline Trump's appeal.

---
It just doesn't slow down in Chicago... Last year, 20 were shot and killed in the month of February.. This year, there has been 32 such murders (plus twice as many non-fatal shootings) and there's still a long weekend with an extra day to go.

---
Online headline: "Al Sharpton leading Oscar protest over lack of Black nominees" -- Good grief... as he'd if know what a good acting job is.. on the other hand, I'd love to see him leading a rally supporting the decline of blacks being shot on the streets of Chicago.

---
Too funny to not pass along this pic from a fellow BCer:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Online story: "Senator Lindsey Graham literally started off a CNN interview this morning by saying, “I think Donald Trump will be the gold standard for stupid Republican candidates, I just want to be on the record with that.” -- "gold standard for stupid Republican candidates"? -- Good grief.. Graham just set himself up as the nominee for "most stupid Republican ever"! You know.. With Graham's swishful mannerisms and womanless lifestyle, he surely doesn't want to get into a duel with Trump...

Soapbox Moment: "It's time..no, way passed time for Council and the Columbus L-E and our legislative delegation to demand a forensic audit on the Whittlesey Rd widening project. It's almost a year behind schedule, at least $1,000,000.00 over budget, and no end in sight. We deserve better than this.

Bumper sticker I want to see:
Elect Trump - Jail Hillary!

---
Online headline: "ALL HELL IS BREAKING LOOSE IN GERMANY: Citizens Want “Refugees” Gunned Down At Borders " -- Hmmm... somehow a properly constructed fence on our border sounds pretty humane..

---
Online story: "Three black female college students who claimed to be victims of an assault by a group of white men and women have been charged themselves.  * Officials at the University of Albany (NY)  announced Thursday that two of the women, Ariel Agudio and Asha Burwell, have been charged with misdemeanor assault and falsely reporting an incident. The third woman, Alexis Briggs, has been charged with misdemeanor assault. * The women, all 20 years old, claimed they were attacked early on the morning of Jan. 30 while riding a bus. They claimed that they were called racial slurs and were physically attacked while bystanders looked on. *  Police said surveillance and cellphone video, as well as eyewitness testimony, contradicted the women's account. *  The false report charge against Aguido and Burwell stem from 911 calls the women made reporting the incident. In one of the calls, Agudio tells the dispatcher, "It was a racial crime. They were calling us [N-word] and all this stuff ... And if someone doesn't come and take this down or something, I'm going to call the news." -- Well, well, well... gotta love those surveillance cameras.. Of note is that Hillary was proving what a "Big Twit" she is, because she was "tweeting" - "There's no excuse for racism and violence on a college campus." - before most iPhone videos hit YouTube.

L-E story: "Synovus Toast of the Town will host “An Evening at 11th and Bay Southern Table” at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1. Guest bartenders will be Cameron Bean, Reynolds Bickerstaff and Theresa Robertson." -- Tuesday at 6:00 PM? You know, I don't when this changed but it use to be that no alcohol could be bought or served until AFTER polls had closed on an election day..Isn't Tuesday the primary election date for GA? Too bad it is scheduled when so many hard working poll workers will not be able to attend.

---
A "really gets it" L-E "soundoff": " If you’re only 22-23 years old and now being charged with, among other charges, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, then we’re obviously letting people out of prison way, way too soon." -- All you judges listening?

Boy.. Council is just full of "garbage" discussions.. First Council approved ending twice a week garbage pickups to save $500K annually yet are concerned about worn out garbage trucks..now, Council is distressed about keeping the Aquatic Center open full time at a loss of $500K annually... I have a compromise.. just close the Aquatic Center and rent it out for events users will pay all the expenses for, and go back to the twice-a-week garbage pickups. We'll save $1.3 MILLION by not having the AquaticCenter open full time, plus Council will have both twic-a-week pickups and $800,000.00 left over to replace garbage trucks.. How come Council or Public Services didn't think of this?

L-E story: " Groups of frustrated migrants, including families with small children, walked along north-bound Greek highways Thursday hoping to reach Macedonia after authorities stopped their buses to ease a bottleneck on the practically blocked border." -- "groups of frustrated migrants"? When did refugees (illegal aliens) get labeled as "migrants"... even "groups of migrants"? Wonder when the LA gangs will be renamed "frustrated groups"?

---
L-E story: " Carver High School has been named a winner of the AP Champion Award, which recognizes efforts to eliminate barriers that restrict Advanced Placement access. * The news release from the Georgia Department of Education noted other selection criteria: ensuring AP classes reflect the school’s diversity, building and sustaining a positive culture around AP and creatively promoting AP coursework. * Carver more than doubled its number of Pre-AP and AP classes from the 2013-14 school year to 2014-15 and has more students taking AP classes, and more teachers certified to teach them, than ever, principal Chris Lindsey told the Ledger-Enquirer in an email." -- I'm curious.. is this the same Carver of Columbus that failed the Milestone Tests, and could not nominate a S.T.A.R. student a couple of years ago (or even this year if the S.T.A.R. story/announcement in today's L-E is accurate)? If so.. this is good, but it sure sounds contrived. Let's pray that Carver has turned around thoroughly before raising expectations "too high".

---
L-E headline/story: "DELTA DATA AMONG TOP TECH COMPANIES  * Columbus management business named as one of ‘Top 40 Innovative Technology Companies’ *    The Technology Association of Georgia named 25-year-old Delta Data one of the “Top 40 Innovative Technology Companies.” All of the other honorees are located in the Atlanta area." -- Hmmm... and didn't I read wher our local government needs are being contracted to a tech firm in Lagrange? Why.. we have first rate tech firms in Columbus, and none from Lagrange made the top 40.

L-E headline: "GEORGIA ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS * Owner of PMB Broadcasting Jimbo Martin inducted into GAB Hall of Fame" -- Well, deserved, friend!
